BUT IF YOU LITERALLY WATCH THE NEXT FEW SECONDS, YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT HE’S BEEN LISTENING THE WHOLE TIME

LOOK AT HIS FACE, HE’S NOT CONFUSED! THAT’S THE FACE OF SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HE HAS TO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING HE DOESN’T WANT TO! HE’S BEEN LISTENING TO HER THE ENTIRE TIME! HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT SHE’S TRYING TO DO!

Here’s what’s happening…he’s trying to avoid the topic altogether! He’s trying to PROTECT HER! Because he knows first hand how dismissive and cruel Heaven is. He was cast out because his dreams did not align with that of Heaven’s! He wants to protect Charlie from the hurt and pain he’s experienced because Heaven didn’t listen to him! HE SAYS THIS AT THE BEGINNING OF “MORE THAN ANYTHING”

He cares so much about Charlie, he just doesn’t want her dreams crushed like his were. It was obvious that Lucifer knew what Charlie’s goal was, but he knew Heaven would not listen to her, so he tried to avoid the conversation. We clearly know he has avoidance tendencies, namely isolating himself from Charlie.

Does this look like someone who wasn’t listening to his daughter???

Maddie and jack couldn’t conceive a second child. Somehow stole Bruce’s dna and made Danny.

Danny finds his files and confronts them.

They confirm it.

Danny doesn’t want to deal with any other billionaire fruitloops so doesn’t tell anyone minus jazz and his friends

Plus his parents tell him he’d get them arrested if he told anyone. That they did it out of love. Not just for science. Basically convince him not to say a word.

Fentons find out about Danny being half ghost. They are prepared to hand over Danny to GIW. Vlad offers a different solution he could take the little badger and put him through decontamination. He assures them he can fix Danny.

The Fenton parents agree. But tell vlad they are reporting it the Giw. In case Danny decides to flee treatment.

Danny is quick to get out of there.

With the files and dna test in hand . He decides perhaps he can hide out with his bio dad. Just until he can locate Ellie.

He’ll just travel around with her. They don’t need anyone but the two of them. Jazz can join after she finishes college.

He’d only need a hiding place for about a month or so. Bruce wouldn’t even need to talk to him or anything.

So he shows up at the manor. The dna test is off course positive. Danny just flat out says, yea I’m hiding from the government and my fruitloop of a godfather. Both want to capture me. One for painful experimentation and the other to forcefully adopt me. Then says he’d rather get experimented on then adopted by the fruitloop.

Obviously danny isn’t gone by the end of the month and much to his annoyance Ellie likes the place. The GIW has also been dealt with.

Guys the cartoon horse line is not implying Jimmy being a predator to kids because the baby is represented as a foil. It is because horses are his stand in for consequential figures and Anya and the sexual violence he perpetrated towards her.

I know he’s deplorable but the line is very much about his warped views of women and Anya along with the Pony Express as a corporation seeing as horses stand in for a lot in his mind.

And she’s not even unreasonable to think that - Bad prefaced his reveal with an extremely ominous “I’ve done something that will make the Federation very angry if they find out it was me. Angry like they’ve never been angry before” type statement. If he thinks he’ll be fucked if anyone finds out, why would she not also think he’ll be fucked if anyone finds out??? There is no winning here, especially not for her.

Sorry (not) but I find anyone who acts like Blue is making something out of nothing when she’s mad Adam’s first question is about the kissing to be like. Deeply suspicious. Of course she is mad that’s the first thing he asked her! They’ve been walking on eggshells around each other and not really communicating since the last aborted kiss attempt which is on both of them to some degree, but when he comes around to her it’s only for this and when she has so many fears and insecurities about not properly belonging in the gang because she’s a girl (which is founded based on the fact aside from Noah they’ve all been misogynistic towards her at some point even if it was passive) and not being respected, when she’s also an outsider at home because of a different thing she can’t control. And you can not say that her feeling Adam is treating her like a thing to have and not a person he connects with is unfounded he again literally “I got Blue without you!” screamed at Gansey, consistently going to her after they fight (he did it end of TRB after repugnant too) to validate himself or just generally when he’s falling apart looking for validation from her like in the apartment scene. It’s not a bad thing to seek validation from your partner and in TRB before I’d say the last quarter I think Blue and Adam were genuinely connecting and developing a friendship while also exploring their feelings/attractions to each other, which did always have elements of seeking escape or validation for both of them in different ways, but it’s dissolved into that so much now. And I do think Blue is to some degree mad at Adam because he’s here and available to be mad at when she’s also mad at Gansey for it (I don’t think they’re *in the wrong * for not inviting her but they are in the wrong for not even considering she could want to go or at least want to be in the loop, also even though it’s Gansey’s party if Adam is trying to be her *boyfriend* it was kind of his place to ask her) so she’s conveying anger at Adam when the anger is for both of them, and also more general factors she’s frustrated by, but also Adam has the exact same response of channeling emotions that aren’t solely about Blue through their fights (and to his credit he is self aware that he does this) so again crucifying Blue for it is whack imo. Also to check myself on shipper-brain for the Adam-Gansey aspect of it, well obviously I read that here as a factor because I’m me, but for arguments sake on the premise Adam has No feelings about Gansey that are anything other than platonic Blue would still have a right to be mad about him prioritizing his platonic male friends over her and treating them with more respect, obviously, because misogyny exists (also these are not two contradictory readings in that I think they’re both factors. decided that in my own personal canon, Santiago’s maker looked similar to Louis, simply because Ben Daniels stated that Santiago was very likely in love with his maker. and wouldn’t it be some kind of torture to fall in love with the man who murdered your first vampiric love? to then watch him fall in love with another, who bears an eerie resemblance to that first love? to be witness to something tender and affectionate blooming, every moment a memory of how none of those you’ve adored have ever wanted you back? it would be agony. it would be torture. god, you would just hate them to pieces, loathing even as you loved them. and you wouldn’t know peace - not until the whole pack of them learnt the horror of love, just as you have.

“I’ve never used one before,” she whispered, looking down at the knife in her hand.

“You won’t need to use it, but if you did Truth Teller wouldn’t let you miss,” Azriel spoke confidently. She looked up at him and nodded her head.

She didn’t know the weight of the dagger, its power or what it meant to Azriel. All that mattered in this moment is it made her feel safe and it gave him some peace of mind.

anyway I like the idea of shri’iia taking specific underdark materials/items with her before they left like she’d probably spent some time harvesting specific spores and other ingredients for potion making. I also think she’d splurge (steal money from the group wallet) to buy very specific poison bottles that has a very underdark/drow aesthetic. like I think blurg would have some that he’d gathered from his time there, and maybe they’d come across some from the myriad of corpses they’ve looted from. anyway shri’iia having her own little pack of underdark Stuff and she keeps it as some sort of security blanket bc she’s terribly homesick more so that she can’t go home anymore, and she spends her nights at camp brewing poisons similar to how her mother makes them (and it’s a practice she hasn’t done in so long so there’s a lot of trial and error and trying to remember it since a good century has passed) and that’s how she keeps herself busy if she’s not spending time with someone.

…and when the terrible, terrible crush comes creeping in she likes to make poisons for astarion because he uses them well and often and it makes her happy to be useful in such a way. shri’iia doesn’t register this as a crush tho lmfao I think she is so used to the type of desire where it’s all consuming and drowning, and she’s so used to dedicating her entire being to the one who holds her heart that a type of attraction where it’s more lowkey, and more subtle, and something that is creeping up on her slowly comes unnoticed - and she also does not know what to do with it when it comes, btw. the slow burn aspect of hag romance is bc yes it’s a slow burn and I’m a firm believer the romance only ever locks in after his graveyard scene in act 3 but it’s also bc these two are clowns
