The Ultimate Guide to Rapper Fashion: Unveiling Hip-Hop's Iconic Style
Tumblr media
Rapper fashion is more than just clothing; it's a cultural statement transcending the music industry's boundaries. The fusion of creativity, self-expression, and urban influences has given rise to a distinctive style that continues to captivate and inspire. This comprehensive guide delves deep into rapper fashion, exploring its origins, essential elements, iconic figures, and enduring impact on mainstream culture.
The Ultimate Guide to Rapper Fashion: A Deep Dive
A Brief History of Rapper Fashion
The roots of rapper fashion trace back to the gritty streets of 1970s New York City, where young artists sought to make a statement in a world that often marginalized them. Their attire became a form of rebellion, blending elements of street culture, sportswear, and flamboyant accessories. This fusion birthed the foundation of rapper fashion.
Influences and Inspirations
Rapper fashion draws inspiration from many sources, from the vibrancy of African heritage to the luxury of high-end fashion houses. The juxtaposition of luxury and street culture creates a dynamic and captivating style that continues to evolve.
Critical Elements of Rapper Fashion
Bling Culture: A cornerstone of rapper fashion, bling represents the ostentatious display of wealth through elaborate jewelry, oversized chains, and sparkling accessories. It symbolizes success and is an integral part of the hip-hop narrative.
Streetwear Sophistication: Rapper fashion embraces streetwear with a twist. High-end streetwear brands collaborate with hip-hop artists, resulting in limited-edition collections that effortlessly merge urban aesthetics with luxury craftsmanship.
Logomania: The trend of sporting designer logos became synonymous with rapper fashion. Logomania showcases exclusivity and status, and it's not just
about the brand—it's a visual language that communicates a larger message.
Athleisure Evolution: Rapper fashion has redefined athleisure, transforming sportswear into a fashion statement. Track pants, sneakers, and sports jerseys are elevated with unique styling and bold accessories.
Colorful Expressions: Rapper fashion is a canvas of vibrant colors and bold patterns. It challenges traditional fashion norms by celebrating self-expression through an eclectic color palette.
Iconic Figures and Their Fashion Legacy
Run-D.M.C.: Pioneers of the hip-hop fashion movement, Run-D.M.C. popularized Adidas tracksuits and shell-toe sneakers, solidifying streetwear's place in mainstream culture.
Notorious B.I.G.: Biggie Smalls left an indelible mark on rapper fashion with his distinctive Coogi sweaters and sophisticated yet rugged style.
Missy Elliott: An avant-garde fashion icon, Missy Elliott's eccentric ensembles and futuristic accessories challenged conventions and celebrated individuality.
Kanye West: Known for his Yeezy fashion line, Kanye West blurred the lines between streetwear and high fashion, sparking trends that redefine luxury.
Cardi B: A contemporary trendsetter, Cardi B's fearless approach to fashion combines luxury brands with audacious streetwear, showcasing her unapologetic personality.
Evolution and Trends
Rapper fashion is a dynamic landscape that continues to evolve. Recent trends include sustainability, gender-fluid fashion, and a revival of 90s aesthetics. As the genre diversifies, so does its fashion, reflecting the multifaceted nature of hip-hop culture.
Conclusion
"The Ultimate Guide to Rapper Fashion" has unveiled the captivating journey of a cultural phenomenon that extends far beyond clothing. From its humble beginnings on the streets of New York to its global impact on the fashion industry, rapper fashion is a testament to the power of self-expression and creativity. As the genre evolves, so will its fashion, ensuring that this iconic style remains a vibrant and influential force in the years to come.

the top left corner of the wyrd web can tell you about some of your talents/interests, the core tells you who you truly are, and the flow/career is like the midheaven of the wyrd web realm. that being said, these are basic premises; in no way does one number mean a single thing. each number can mean different and multiple things. these are simply my observations (also observations are not destined to be true; they are simply possibilities / increased odds). if you want to learn more about the major arcana, which is the basis for the web's numbers, click here!

Game Shakers / Ch. 2
Tumblr media
from the river to the sea, palestine will be free 🇵🇸 READ: this account stands with palestine, and so— i require everyone who interacts to educate themselves, and support/donate. READ THESE; 1 and 2, HELP HERE, BOYCOTT. silence is complicity, do not scroll past this.
Pairing: Eminem x OFC
Warning(s): Cursing, Drug Abuse, Racial Discrimination, Sexual Assault, more may be on the way as the story progresses
Summary: 2000s is quite the highlight between the fashion and rise of pop culture. Seemingly the new faces of shock value, rapper Marshall Mathers and rockstar King Woods finds a common ground amongst the unnecessary bullshit.
A/N: Sorry for the late update! I'm rediscovering my urge to write as I work back to back and get paperwork ready to prepare for college. It feels like life is slowly coming together, I just need a damn car. Y'all got chapter 1 to 32 likes and 3 reblogs... is my writing that good or are we all in desperate search for Eminem fanfic? Much love, though!
Tumblr media
Standing on the carpet of the VMAs, Marshall and an excited Deshaun pose beside of the rookie's mentor, Dr. Dre. Finishing a couple of photo-ops, they were guided down the carpet. As Marshall clenched on his gum, anxiety gnawing at his mind, Deshaun was studied the face of every celebrity he knew.
"Yo, Doody, this is crazy man," he laughs. "I can't believe that we're really here." Marshall hums, "I can't believe how crowded this bitch is." Dre shakes his head, "don't stress, this will all end soon once we get inside the venue."
Deshaun looks down at the now bleach blond rapper, "you think those girls are gonna be here, man?" Marshall kisses his teeth, "they have to be, I read on the call sheet that they were listed to perform or some shit."
Andre raises an eyebrow, "who y'all whispering about, looking like some mean ass gossip girls?" Marshall smirks, "you ever heard of that new band, The Hydez?" The older rapper's face scrunches at the band name, "uh... who?"
"It's a band with these five girls, only one of them is white, and are covered in tattoos--" Andre's face drops in recognition, "oh! Nevermind, I know. I know who're talking about now. What, you got a little crush or somethin', Slim?"
Deshaun laughs, "more like that boy's in love with the lead, King. Once they talked during Warped Tour, he was hooked on her." Rather than snapping back, Marshall side-eyes his friend.
"Fuck both of y'all, man," the blond rolls his eyes, walking down the carpet. The others following, throwing out a joke here and there, when a reporter strikes her mic out desperately.
"Eminem, quick question," she blurts, "are you and The Hydez leader, King Woods, dating? What of your wife?" The three rappers freeze, flabbergasted at the onslaught of questions.
Marshall clears his throat for a second before stepping closer to her, "excuse me?" The woman repeats herself, "are you and King Woods dating?" The blond raises a brow, "no, we ain't. Where'd you get that from?"
"Well, just a few minutes ago, I had simply asked her and the rest of The Hydez about you and they just, like, flipped out on me," she snorts, "I don't know why she became so defensive over me asking about you, but it was a little suspicious, wouldn't you say?"
Marshall hums, "yeah... yeah, um, what was it that you asked them about?" A bit of irritation was rising in the back of his mind, he didn't expect a lot of positives to come from the whole spotlight shit but he at least thought that King and her friends were genuine people.
"I just simply wondered if you were the person others say that you are, you know like violent towards women, vulgar," she lists, "I was just asking the real questions. It was them who kept calling you all types of names like skittles and tiny ass--"
Marshall shakes his head, "le'me stop you right there, sweetheart. You was just sniffing around, asking questions about me to other people and they flipped. How about you do your job and ask about people's career instead of digging for dirt, have a nice night."
The three walk away, leaving the woman in disbelief. Deshaun looks back at the woman with a confused smile, "the fuck was that all about?" Marshall shrugs, "turns out everybody wants to know if I'm as vulgar or violent as my lyrics."
"And what does that have to do with The Hydez?" Andre glances at him in confusion as well. Reaching inside the venue, Marshall smiles, "King chewed that curious bitch the fuck out." Andre and Deshaun share a knowing glance.
Andre rubs at his forehead, "and she does know that you're married, right?" Marshall nods, "sure does. Besides, she told me that she's not interested in anything outside of her music. I can't say I blame her."
"Damn straight, you can't," Deshaun sasses as they find their seats and sit down.
The award show begins, the venue going dark as the stage lights set off. Throughout the show, he watched as stars strutted across the stage presenting awards and performing for the masses. Faces he's seen on the television from the kitchen of his old job and new ones that were scheduled to officially debut, much like him.
Every time his face appeared on the massive screen as a nominee for a selection of categories, his jaw clenches with anticipation. If he thought signing with Dre and putting out the EP was a nerving wreck, it doesn't compare to his first award. If he could win at least one award, he could take it as his moment of truth to flash his winning in the face of those who lacked faith.
So far, he's won Best New Artist which was unreal to him. "Was this supposed to happen?" He questioned in the mic, unsure that his name was chosen and written on the card.
Getting his name etched into the award, he returns to his seat with an exhilarating tremble in his step. Sitting down, he meets eyes with a smirking King who simply sent a nod his way before turning to face the stage once again.
As the show moves on, he solely tunes in whenever his name or the band, The Hydez, were mentioned. So far, the girls won their second award of the night for Best Rock Video and Best Group Video. They also took home the awards for Best Editing and Best Special Effects.
Closer to the last few minutes of Britney and NSYNC's performance, a stagehand signals for The Hydez to follow after her. Perking up in his seat, his eyes were attentive to the stage as the night was reaching its final round. Stone Cold Steve Austin introduces the band and the lights dimmer more than before.
"You excited to see your girlfriend?" Proof teases. Marshall simply side-eyes with a smirk.
The starting piano plays for 'In The End,' a green light takes over the stage as Harley starts to rap her verse in the mic as King sings her adlibs. In contrary to their carpet outfits, the group appeared far more casual while dawning their usual black get up.
The redheaded leader bounces across the stage alongside her members as the lights flicker every time the chorus hits. Engaging with the audience, the crowd of fans belt the lyrics. Marshall slightly nods his head along with the music, enamored by the abrupt energy shift from the likes of the pop star barbies.
The lights complimented her barely finished sleeve tattoo and burnt orange curls, the sliver piercings that accessorized her face created a tug in his gut. She was just ethereal and dark, it intrigued him. Once Marshall becomes interested in something, he never lets go.
2019 - Interview
"Would you say that the VMAs was the start of the infamous Eminem and King pairing that we know of today?"
Marshall nods, rubbing his shaved chin, "yes. Meeting her at Warped Tour, I saw her as this crazy friend but seeing the trance she could put people in with her music, I guess I had developed a bit of an admiration for her."
"Did you expect yourself to fall in love with King? How did you deal with shifting from being married to being single with those thoughts?"
Marshall leans forward to grab a bottle of water, "I more so dreamed than strived to fall in love with her. I believed that she was far out of my league and divorcing from Kim made it a bit harder for me to see myself as boyfriend material for her."

VERSACE; MILAN RECAP
Himari finally spreading her creative wings at the Milan Fashion Week.
Tumblr media
September 22, 2024 (11:14PM)
House Versace's Ephemeral collection marked the entrance of global ambassador, Min Himari, into the high fashion world with designs seeking to replicate the refined yet unfortunately temporary beauty of butterflies through flowing colorful fabrics and loose hanging jewelry. This rather impressive debut resulted in several designers speaking out about the artistry behind every showcased piece, one of them being Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing, and some brands have even set their sights on the young idol as a possible representative.
Fashion Week hosts the most watched showcases of the year which is why audiences were shocked that Ephemeral was premiered alongside the spring - summer collection, as it would undoubtedly occupy the spotlight due to its rather unique nature. During the last model fittings for this runway, Donatella Versace expressed wanting the project's success to reflect the unbelievable amount of work that had gone into its creation, hence letting her protégée close off the night in order to truly leave lasting impressions on attendees.
'The Hand of Midas is an accurate title for her, these designs went from mere sketches on a page to museum worthy pieces.' She said. 'The world should witness these ephemeral wonders before they sadly disappear.'
The artistic director kept the afterparty outfit secret even from the idol herself and those staying on track with updates were far from disappointed when she stepped out of the car wearing a custom made short butterfly dress. Royalty had long been associated with this young ace and some photographers even expressed feeling a sense of admiration when catching their first glance of her walking onto the carpet, bejeweled hand supported by Versace Prince, Hwang Hyunjin, to regain balance;

The ambassador's bandmates, Song Mingi and Choi San - who was in the city for the Dolce & Gabbana show-, received invitations to the event despite having no affiliation with the brand in order to not only witness this momentous occasion for their industry but to offer comfort to the nervous upcoming designer as well. With the rapper being in a romantic relationship with their youngest, it led to some sweet moments caught on camera;
When the show came to an end the rapper could be seen wrapping large arms on her body and spinning the two of them around before placing the most tender yet lasting kiss on her lips, some reporters on the scene managing to capture his endless whispered praises. A somewhat brief conversation ensued before the vocalist found refuge in his chain adorned neck with adorable squeals of excitement, attendees along with the house's designer herself stopped to admire their display of heartwarming affection.
'Himari had told me about their relationship, but I've never seen them together in person before.' Shared Donatella. 'To see two people so in love with each other is almost unbelievable...but I'm happy our Princess found her soulmate.'
The members who unfortunately could not attend conveyed respect and pride for their maknae through livestreams in which they made sure that fans were aware of just how much work went on behind the scenes, most ending their lengthy speeches with tears - showcasing the genuine love tying these idols together. While in the music industry the young woman is somewhat guided by the other artists' voices when creating tracks, this night proved to all that behind her delicate beauty was personal artistry extending far beyond unique harmonies.
Himari's Ephemeral Collection will be available for public viewing at the Nilufar Depot, Milan from October 1st to November 3rd and the Opera Gallery of Seoul from November 12th to December 21st. See the official Versace website or ATEEZ instagram account (@/ateez_official_) for more details on ticket availability.

NZND Verse Timeline
A long story about love, hate, murders, and carrying each other’s woks ....
(carrying wok = taking the blame - voluntarily or not. keikaku means plan.)
Tumblr media
2012-2014
The whacky shit is later. This part is just an idol romance drama plot:
He Meinan has been a diehard fan of Bai Rap, an amateur (?) rapper, for God knows how long.
At this point in time, Bai Rap is a positive influence. He participates in a music competition and is disqualified. He Meinan cries a river in the audience and is personally noticed and comforted by Bai Rap.
Bai Rap is accepted as a trainee in MG Entertainment. While cheering for him outside the MG building, He Meinan gets scouted too (for his “one-in-4000-years” good looks).
Bai Rap takes He Meinan by the hand, guiding him through their training days
(Season 4, Ep. 4)
Sa Weixiao joins MG Entertainment as trainee because he has nothing to do. His family owned 500+ crayfish restaurants (this, later, is somewhat plot-relevant). He has no money problems, no life goals.
Sa Weixiao thinks he joined the company because of his talents. His mum actually bought his way in.
Sa Weixiao is very supportive of He Meinan. He Meinan is all about Bai Rap.
(Season 4, Ep. 4)
Late 2014
November 2014: He Meinan is 18, Sa Weixiao is 22, Bai Rap is 21.
Sa Weixiao encounters Wei Yi (NPC), who encourages him to act as a positive influence. She subsequently commits suicide after a misunderstanding. He’s devastated.
Sa Weixiao kills Zhen Cwei (NPC, a co-trainee), because Zhen was indirectly responsible for Wei Yi’s death. Murder method: Drowning.
Bai Rap goes to prison instead of Sa Weixiao (lmao how did he debut, then - no one knows)
The NZND group debuts with 5 members under MG Entertainment in November.
(Season 4, Ep. 4)
2015
More idol romance drama: He Meinan gets into a car accident just after debut and is hospitalized in the US. His twin sister He Meinv takes his place temporarily.
Sa Weixiao falls in love with He Meinv in August.
(Season 1, Ep 3)
2016
Bai Rap tries to kill He Meinan’s pet corgi because he’s jealous of He Meinan’s single room, and buys poison online. In the end, he can’t bring himself to commit doggycide.
(He Meinan is allowed to have a room for himself, because of the dog. Sa Weixiao kindly advises that if Bai Rap wanted a single room, maybe he could  have poisoned his own roommate instead.)
The poison is subsequently used by fellow NZND member Chen Wudao to kill their manager.
Bai Rap’s song (their hottest single) was found to be plagiarised.
Other fellow member, Da Zhuchang (main vocal) is officially alive at this point in time. Has gone through 8 years of plastic surgery and is fed up.
NZND’s contract is found out to be dogshit exploitative.
Sa Weixiao goes to jail instead of Chen Wudao.
NZND’s activities are frozen after the scandal(s).
(Season 1, Ep 3)
Late 2016
NZND has just been disbanded. He Meinan is 19. Bai Rap is 22. Sa Weixiao, 23.
He Meinan’s popularity is on the rise, and he has established HE Beauty fashion brand. However, he is in huge financial difficulties and sells counterfeit goods.
September 2016: Bai Rap struggles to find work, gets a drama script in September, is under such pressure to perform that he gets too immersed and becomes mentally unstable, believing the script to be real.
December 2016: He Meinan lets a person die - the dealer who sold him counterfeit goods - because he was afraid that, if he helped the dealer (who’d been attacked and left bleeding), the truth behind HE Beauty would be exposed and his reputation would be ruined.
Bai Rap blackmails He Meinan for money. Turns out he did it due to his “believing the script was real” thing (He Meinan also had a role in the script, and this was part of the plot). But He Meinan is taken to extremes by this.
December 2016: MG entertainment organises an “ice-breaker” concert, including the return of He Meinan, Sa Weixiao and Bai Rap, and a lot of new artists.
New girlgroup member Zhen Wanmei (NPC) gets murdered on stage. Murder weapon: poison needle.
Bai Rap thought he was in love and dating the murder victim, but that too was part of the script. He is very confused.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, everyone involved in this case wants to kill Bai Rap.
This includes HE MEINAN. He Meinan tells Bai Rap he “LOVED BAI RAP SO MUCH THAT HE COULD NOT ACCEPT BEING HURT BY HIM” and that at worst they could “PERISH TOGETHER” (christ)
Turns out Bai Rap was also framed, the murder victim was using his mental instability to pile the blame of a lot of murders onto him.
Murderer is none of the main three NZND members. But He Meinan and Bai Rap are so much
(Season 5, Ep 6)
2021
Sa Weixiao, He Meinan and Bai Rap are now all active in solo. Sa Weixiao and He Meinan are doing very well. Bai Rap is crawling under debts.
Introduction of character Wang Bagua. (play on words on wang ba dan, which means “bastard” and Bagua means “gossip”.) when they discover the corpse of He Meinan’s manager, completely burnt.
He Meinan is found out to have dated said manager in the past
Sa Weixiao is revealed to still love He Meinv, but lost contact with her since she “went abroad to study”. The truth is that He Meinv is severely ill with depression, and hospitalized abroad.
Sa Weixiao disovers his real dad is Jia Tianwang (dead NPC) and the scum of scums. He also discovers a whole flurry of half-brothers and a half-sister: Qiao Anti, Wang Bagua, Ou Jizhe.
The murderer is none of the main three NZND members. Real murder method: Asphyxiation.
(Season 2, Ep 5)
Sometime in 2022, He Meinan also kills a staff member in a drama he was filming, by accidentally running him over in his car.
(Season 3, Ep 5)
2024
Sa Weixiao and He Meinv started dating again and all is well.
July 3rd: He Meinan and He Meinv have a car accident. He Meinv dies. Sa Weixiao is unaware at first.
After losing contact with her, Sa Weixiao is informed that He Meinv could have been kidnapped (she is actually dead). He believes the kidnapper is the Future Murder Victim.
Bai Rap, who is still struggling, tries to debut again. He gets into a deal with the future murder victim, who promised by contract that Bai Rap would win in a rap competition (the contract actually said “win 2nd place” in such small print that Rap fails to read it). Wang Bagua wins the rap competition.
November 2024: He Meinan, Sa Weixiao and Bai Rap organise a reunion NZND concert. This concert was the last wish of He Meinv and was thus very important for both Sa Weixiao and He Meinan.
The future murder victim is murdered in the backstage. He is now a murder victim.
He Meinan discovers his car accident with his sister was caused by the murder victim, who was the brother of the staff He Meinan accidentally killed 2 years ago.
Sa Weixiao is the murderer this time. Murder method: poison needle, shot while hugging his half-brother Wang Bagua (damn)
He Meinan goes to jail instead.
Why does Sa Weixiao murder so much?
Tumblr media
(Season 3, Ep 5)
Late 2025
With “age”, Sa Weixiao, He Meinan and Bai Rap are all doing so-so, popularity-wise.
Bai Rap struggles the most. At the lowest point in his life, Sa Weixiao chooses to give him a hand. Bai Rap becomes determined to protect Sa Weixiao.
One of their most fervent NZND fan “Zhen Jinhua” (NPC, future Murder Victim) has turned into their most fervent anti, who wants to kill them.
Sa Weixiao gets into a suspicious car accident. He comes out of it feeling weak, and the subsequent tests reveal he needs a kidney transplant.
Bai Rap gets medical tests to see if he can give Sa Weixiao his kidney, but there was no match. He scribbles “I hate this! Why can’t it be me?” on said medical test.
He Meinan gives the kidney to Sa Weixiao and this sends them to the top of the industry again due to the ship it creates. Sa Weixiao is determined to protect He Meinan for personal feelings.
Sa Weixiao continues to help Bai Rap. Helps erase the nasty rumors on him, and genuinely tries to give him opportunities to show his talents and debut again.
One time, he makes Bai Rap wear his own Little Lobster/Crayfish costume - the only one in the world - so he can rap at an event. The plan was to have Bai Rap reveal his face at the after-party so that people could see he was worthy of a 2nd chance w/o prejudice. However, Bai Rap never shows at the after-party, thus missing the golden chance.
The reason Bai Rap never shows is because he had been too nervous before the performance, drunk too much, threw up in a back alley, and accidentally pushed someone else in a goat costume too hard, killing them by accident, and ran away.
The next day, no murder is announced. Bai Rap is confused because he really thinks he killed someone.
Bai Rap looks online and finds, however, that someone is searching for the “Little Lobster/Crayfish”.
Tumblr media
(Season 6, Ep 10)
2026
He Meinan is 29, Sa Weixiao is 33, and Bai Rap 32.
He Meinan and Sa Weixiao are trying to produce a 2nd generation boyband, NBCS, and open a singing show for that purpose. Bai Rap is included as a guest, but doesn’t show up in rehearsals. Sa Weixiao is aggravated by this.
Sa Weixiao, during rehearsals, overhears Zhen Jinhua threatening to expose He Meinan and ruin his reputation with something. Despite not knowing what the thing is, Sa Weixiao becomes determined to kill her to protect He Meinan.
Zhen Jinhua is murdered backstage. Murder method: trick with ice to strangle her when the time is right.
It’s revealed that Sa Weixiao never got a kidney transplant, that he never NEEDED one, and that all the medical records were forged by He Meinan and his doctor cousin. He got sliced on the operation table for nothing. Sa Weixiao has a mental breakdown.
Tumblr media
(He Meinan: “ But I said the truth! I told you the kidney you now have is the one that matches you the most!”)
It’s also revealed that this is what Zhen Jinhua was threatening He Meinan with. He Meinan just wanted to get to the top of the popularity ranks.
Meanwhile, Bai Rap had not attended rehearsals because he had finally traced the IP of the person looking for the Little Lobster/Crayfish back to Zhen Jinhua. During rehearsals, he investigated and discovered that Zhen Jinhua thought the lobster was Sa Weixiao. She was plotting to kill him. To protect Sa Weixiao, Bai Rap resolves to kill her first.
It’s also revealed that the person in the Goat Costume that Bai Rap “killed” was actually a super cyborg owned by Zhen Jinhua. (hence, why no murder was announced in the news. the cyborg was just sent for repairs)
Note that the cyborg is acted by the same man who played Da Zhuchang (fellow NZND member) in season 1. But Da Zhuchang who was believed to have been dead by fire many years ago, is actually alive, did plastic surgery (again) and is now acted by Zhang XinCheng.
Da Zhuchang’s identity is revealed by Zhen Jinhua through the “curves of his perfect calves”. Her discovery that he had faked his death so many years ago is a big part of why she became a murderous anti.
The murderer for Zhen Jinhua was actually He Meinan, who knew his reputation was being threatened. Bai Rap is the one who goes to jail. (again)
(Season 6, Ep 10)
Tumblr media
After season 6, neither Sa Beining nor Bai Jingting returned to the show “Who’s the Murderer?”, so the timeline for NZND, the group that spread murder wherever they go, stopped here.
***
Side note: Who’s the Murderer? (or MXDZT) is a Chinese murder mystery show (based on Korean Show Crime Scene, but took a scale and style of its own) where, each episode, the semi-regular cast takes up roles, find a murder, and have to solve the case. One role among the cast is that of the murderer each time, and one is the detective. The rest are suspects. Only the murderer is allowed to lie. The cast unravels the plot through evidence-search and group discussions. Some verses are recurrent across seasons. NZND is one of them.

BTS’ SUGA Returns as Agust D to Tackle Loneliness, Humanity & Being Acknowledged
Back under his solo moniker, SUGA is feeling two decades of songwriting and producing connect universally: "We're finally getting recognized as musicians."
Most famously known as SUGA from BTS — but also by the solo moniker Agust D, as well as birth name Min Yoongi — the artist who works as a rapper, singer, producer, dancer, fashion muse and NBA ambassador wants to remind listeners that, above all, he is a human.
Today, April 7, marks the return of Agust D, the name SUGA uses when releasing solo projects away from BTS, with the new single “People Pt.2” featuring K-pop superstar IU. Not only does it mark the duo’s latest collaboration after teaming for the No. 1 hit on Billboard‘s World Digital Song Sales chart “eight” from May 2020, it also acts as an extension from “People,” a fan-favorite cut from Agust D’s D-2 mixtape released that same month. While the original “People” saw SUGA reflecting on himself and meditating on how others judge and change, Part 2 longs for connection with others.
As multifaceted as SUGA’s world is, loneliness is a permanent source of inspiration and intrigue for the 30-year-old. Hours before “People Pt.2” drops worldwide, his call with Billboard occurs alongside multiple international teams who work around the clock for SUGA and BIGHIT MUSIC artists. Some are beside him physically, others via Zoom connection virtually — but loneliness remains a muse for the star, assisting him in searching within and speaking to listeners in larger, universal ways.
Since its debut, BTS’ musical appeal has reached globally largely through the septet’s extended metaphors and imagery, translating into accessible storytelling alongside boundary-pushing compositions and choreography. SUGA’s range of material is vast, after producing on essentially every BTS album, not to mention scoring high-profile collaborations with everyone from Halsey and Juice WRLD to Epik High and Japan’s ØMI. But now, he’s emphasizing the topics that move him personally — and ensuring he’s properly heard.
Despite an already packed spring and summer with album promo, his solo world tour, ambassadorship duties and a YouTube series, SUGA cheekily closes out our chat (“Yeah, it’s f–king busy,” he says with a wink) since he has no time to waste. Read on as he narrows in on the release of “People Pt.2” and all that’s led up to this reflective pop/hip-hop collaboration.
We’re hours away from the release of “People Pt.2,” your official return as Agust D for your D-Day album. Is there a different mindset when you prepare music as Agust D versus solo or as SUGA alongside BTS?
SUGA: They’re all music made by the person called Min Yoongi. So, I don’t actually have a very different mindset for each moniker — but I would say that the purposes could be somewhat different. Ultimately, the goal of releasing this music is for as many people to listen to my music as possible. So, “People Pt.2” was made thinking about how people will receive Agust D’s music, which is why we also featured IU. It’s kind of a trial to release this music under the name Agust D. I’m actually a little bit worried.
“People Pt.2” (featuring IU) of course follows up “People” from the D-2 mixtape. What was important about continuing this story with IU?
This is a story that you’ll personally love: The title wasn’t originally “People Pt.2.” Actually, “People” from D-2 is personally my favorite song — and we actually worked on “People Pt.2” three years ago. When I was releasing my pictorial [Photo-Folio Wholly or Whole Me] photo shoot, the company actually revealed the guide [demo] version and gave a glimpse of it to the public. But anyway, it was already finished when we were working on D-2 so I was thinking, “Oh, I should release this, I should release this.” But we had to get on with “Butter” and “Dynamite” so we didn’t get the chance.
Originally, the title was “Sara (사라),” without the “M (ㅁ)” consonant in Korean — because that’s, like, one consonant less than the word “saram (사람),” which is Korean for “people.” Depending on whichever consonant you put at the end of the word sara (사라), it can become “saram (사람)” and “people,” or it can become “sarang 사랑,” or “love” in Korean. So, it’s the listener’s choice to put which consonant you want at the end of “sara” (사라). But I had my friend listen to this son and people heard it as “sal-ah (살아)” which kind of means “live” in Korean and I was like, “This is not going to work.” So, we finalized the title to be “People” in the end.
And some people call me August D, some people call me Ah-gust D, but I’m actually Agust D. So, you know, people take my name differently and we had to sync the person SUGA and Agust D. This is a song that kind of matches that sync. We need that bridge and sync between my mixtape and this official solo album. In order to put that sync together, I had to make this a very pop song. We didn’t try to make the music video that intense — and, in that sense, IU really played an important role in doing that. I also think this is a genre that I can do best, this pop-focused song.
There’s this sync between songs, but the themes and lyrics are very different, right? “People” was self-reflective and examined other people’s judgments, but “People Pt.2” seems more about connection and fighting loneliness. What most differentiates the two in your mind?
In the past — and I’ve always said this in my interviews — personally, I think loneliness is being together in modern society. I always talk about loneliness in my interviews, but regretfully, it isn’t always in the final interview. Not only me, everyone has this loneliness inside them until the moment they die. However deep you are in a relationship, how much you engage with other people, how many friends you meet, or how often you meet with your family, you always have the loneliness inside.
So, I started with this keyword of “loneliness” three years ago, and I wouldn’t say there’s much difference in that everybody can feel pain and agonized. It’s the same with me. Whether it’s me from BTS, SUGA, Min Yoongi, or Agust D, I always have that inside me too. People might see me as someone who wouldn’t have any concerns or worries or that I don’t feel any agony, but I feel those emotions too. I’m trying to find a way to fight those and overcome those too.
This album doesn’t really finalize everything in its message either. So, there might be a possibility there could be a “Part 3” later on. For now, we’re just trying to say, “Let’s not hate each other. Let’s find a way.”
I like that — because even in the Road to D-Day documentary trailer, there’s a moment you say you frequently consider quitting music. But when people come together, it makes you realize you can do it and have fun. Does this tie into themes of “People Pt.2”?
This is kind of a difficult topic, because I started making music and writing lyrics [when] I was 11 or 12 years old. I’ve been making music for all these years, and now I’m 30. It wasn’t easy writing “People Pt.2,” and the album overall, but people really don’t know the whole process of that. Even though I’d been making music more than half of my life — and I’m just saying this because you understand this, Jeff — when we first started in the K-pop scene, we were in this ambiguous position of not being accepted as musicians and not being accepted as idols either. But the musicians close to me know that I’m very serious and sincere in music and that I’m a very natural person.
So, the documentary started as I just wanted to capture and show this process. It started with the purpose of showing SUGA as a producer and songwriter, but it kind of ended up having the worldview of an album-making process. I tried to show the normal, individual side of me as much as possible, but as I am a Korean idol, or K-idol, a lot of scenes were edited out; there were more of those natural scenes and some very good scenes that couldn’t make it in the final version. The documentary and “People Pt.2” try to reveal the natural side of the human Min Yoongi. I just wanted to show that I am this humane person. I am just a human.
You need to release your “Director’s Cut” one day. While D-Day and the documentary are coming, I want to congratulate you on the worldwide release of D-2 and Agust D this week. My favorite song, “Agust D” with the sample of “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World,” was finally added to streaming too. You shared how J. Cole approved BTS’ “Born Singer” sample, what can you share about the process with James Brown‘s estate?
I released Agust D when I was still very young, so, even as I listen to it now, it kind of sounds immature — if you listen to the tone, the rap itself wasn’t very organized, I wanted to do a lot of things at that time. It just kind of keeps going very tightly and quickly. But after doing so much various and diverse music, I think that people love the songs that have been released more recently than the songs that were released back then. So, I kind of dare say that people are starting to recognize and acknowledge these songs now. Since the musician actually passed away, I think it was the family who decided to acknowledge it.
Same thing with [clearing] “Born Sinner” — and I don’t know what the path was for the musician themselves, but it was clear. And I take it as that I, as BTS, and Min Yoongi, and SUGA, and Agust D, was acknowledged as a musician. I’m really not thinking that broader consumers or audiences will accept it, because it’s not really popular music. Still, I would dare assume that it’s getting cleared because we’re finally getting recognized as musicians.

Explaining my Gorillaz birthday illustrations
💙 23rd May, 2-D's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
Every fan knows that the first to have a birthday is 2-D and being the first is the one who defines the theme of the other birthday illustrations of the others, so I decided that my inspiration would be the albums whose story focuses on a member of the band plus the added bonus of using photographs of models whose aesthetic or theme of said portrait you can associate with each member.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
Boys Undone | Metal Magazine A fashion story by Sophie Mayanne & Lee Trigg for metalmagazine.eu
I saw the photograph and immediately thought of 2-D: perhaps it was the way the young man picks his nose with his finger (something Stu would do or has done at some point), the innocence his face conveys, or how the model looks somewhat misaligned. Whatever it was, this was the photograph that was used as a reference.
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 5, The Now Now (2018)
Tumblr media
The Now Now (2018)
The Now Now was the band's fifth album and the story of which focused more on 2-D, taking the position as the leader of the band while Murdoc is in jail, the latter being replaced by Ace, a member of the Gangrene Gang in the mythical cartoon 'The Powerpuff Girls' by Craig McCracken.
It was more than obvious the album and the "style" of art that he would use for it. Something that I really liked about this phase is that the vast majority of the art used a curious color palette: blues and pinks in neon tones that were combined with a monochrome style in the characters (mostly black and white).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I did my best to replicate, completely failing in blue (the background is more aquamarine 😅) but I mostly respected the characteristic color palette of that phase. Doing this job reminded me a bit of the old jobs I used to do during my years as students in Visual Arts. Perhaps the only thing that I don't quite like is the hand whose size is much larger than the face and the effect of the fur on the jacket being what I like the most about my illustration.
🧡 3rd June, Russel's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
The most underrated member not only by fans but also by the creators themselves. I feel somewhat sorry for Russel since from the first 3 phases he had a setback from which he has currently not been able to get out of there 😔.
He's the one who draws the least (mostly for fear that the Social Justice Warriors will come and throw me a bard), but when I do, he's the one who I enjoy doing it the most. Maybe it's 'cause his design is a challenge for me and takes me out of my comfort zone, the final result of my illustrations where he is the protagonist makes me end up with a smile on my face 😊.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
People - Photos A model is backstage at the Ricardo Seco fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014 at Eyebeam Studio on September 8, 2013 in New York City.
Maybe when I think of Russell I don't picture him smoking since it's more common to see that in 2-D and Murdoc. But the few times Jamie draws him smoking is with a cigar, more elegant compared to his other two companions. The decision of said photo wasn't only 'cause the model is Afro-descendant but 'cause I wanted to challenge me by painting the smoke of the cigarette. Perhaps the model's clothing was another reason for him to wear this photograph: it's too laid back style as is Russell's personality.
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 1, Gorillaz (2001)
Tumblr media
Gorillaz (2001)
The first album, Gorillaz and clearly the first phase is (mostly) focused on Russell and his ability to see and be possessed by ghosts, especially the ghost Del Tha Ghost Rapper.
It's the phase whose art style screams 2000's: it has that rebellious street style that is identifiable with people who like skateboarding, punk rock, rap or hip hop or street vibes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I confess that it was hard for me to transfer to the illustration and more in the fact of the color palette, so I decided to guide myself by the cover of the eponymous album: a green military tone filter. Unfortunately, by combining that ocher color with the burnt sienna of the shirt and giving it an olive green "wash", it gives more of an air to the color palette of the Plastic Beach sketches (it's too warm and that's why it gives me those vibes ). I doubt that adding the earring to his ear would save the concept, maybe I should have looked for another reference photograph... despite that, I really like it and I consider the smoke I painted acceptable.
💚 6th June, Murdoc's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
Oh, Murdoc. This bastard whose birthday is 3 days after Russell and whose proximity drives me crazy 'cause he's usually my least favorite illustration. The relationship I've with this character is easily described in this image:
Tumblr media
And I could skip his illustration, BUT that wouldn't be fair so I tried to summon my will to draw him.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
Peter DeVito on Twitter “My grandma turns 85 on Monday so we shot this fun birthday concept. *I also got some photos of her without the hats but I’m still working on them and we’re tryna shoot a few more birthday concepts so keep an eye out for those:)”
Murdoc is a decrepit old man, isn't he? So under that logic I had to use a reference from an older person. It wasn't easy since there is usually a lot of photography of young models or people in their 30s and/or 40s. It was a somewhat complicated search 'cause I couldn't find a photograph of a model that screamed Murdoc F. Niccals and, to be honest, I was resigning... UNTIL I found the right one.
The moment I found the reference PHOTOGRAPH I knew it was something Murdc could do: wear various colorful birthday hats and use a birthday candle as a cigarette allegorying that as each birthday passes, our existence will slowly consume away (that or I'm just seeing things where I'm not). And yes, my idea was also to add the hand that is holding said birthday candle, as a way of following a pattern (two illustrations showing only the face and two showing one of his hands) and that this will "complement" with that of 2-D 'cause you already know: they have an insane dependent relationship that they have for each other (and by relationship I not only reduce it to a romantic one, as certain fans usually do 🙄, but also having a relationship can be work, friendship or relative).
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 3, Plastic Beach (2010)
Tumblr media
Plastic Beach (2010)
I confess that phase 3, that is, the Plastic Beach album is my favorite of all and I dare say that it is THE BEST.
Personally, it's the one that I enjoy the most, both 'cause of the story behind the virtual band and the real one. What it aimed to be and that due to various obstacles we only obtained 15% of what was planned (maybe less) , in addition to the load of the socio-environmental message that the album pointed to and the ART of the different covers it had (DUDE! They had a scale model of the island for the cover and some visuals). The truth is that I feel that it is a super complete album and different from what they did in the past and what they do now, it was the album that defined the before and after of Gorillaz music.
And I could make a testament to why it's a TOO good album, but I'd better leave you these two videos where the music on the album is deepened and analyzed (they're in Spanish, but I think you can activate the 'Automatic translation' option in the subtitles)
youtube
youtube
It's quite curious how this phase has an extremely warm color palette both in its official arts, album cover and sketches when almost the vast majority of the musical themes border on the depressive or with shades of desolation , perhaps it is Murdoc openly expressing how he feels about the possibility of being alone or dying alone ('cause according to the lore of the band, all the songs are written by him) seasoned with the guilt he feels about the accident that caused the "death" of Noddle in 'El Mañana'.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ocher yellows, reddish or purple tones, and green are those colors that are repeated, therefore, that was the color palette that I used for my illustration. My intention was to make it look like the sketches that Jamie did during those years and trying to respect that essence of being a watercolor (in fact, all the illustrations are painted with watercolor).
❤ 31st October, Noodle's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
And last but not least, we have our beloved Noodle 🥰. Since she is the last to have her birthday, my rest time is extensive and I can think much better about what I should do, however it's also usually somewhat problematic 'cause I trust myself and (generally) I usually do her illustration the day before or the day of his birthday 😅, but it ends up being the one I like the most of the four.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
@lyiee on Instagram Bạn có biết tại sao khi nhìn ảnh này tim bạn bị đập nhanh không? Oi bạn ơi tại vì bạn kochoido đấy bạn ạ 🌚
With Noodle it's always easier to get a reference image or photograph.
I had already selected the photograph for months and I chose her not only 'cause the model is of Asian descent but 'cause from phase 2, Noodle shows an interest in fashion (something that continues to be maintained) and the use of a helmet is super characteristic of her that she could not let it go.
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 2, Demon Days (2005)
Tumblr media
Demon Days (2005)
Demon Days it's Noodle's album, it's the album that makes possible the return of the band and initiates this stage of experimentation and it's the favorite of all G-fandom.
It is darker, more raw... so much so that it is reflected a lot in the art.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Color palette with such dark tones, overly saturated shadows and the characters are no longer so geometric, but look uncomfortably more detailed. They look gloomy and dirty and go with the gothic and emo vibe of those years.
But did I respect that essence? The truth is that I think not 'cause I only base myself on the color that Noodle presents on the album cover: green. And although that color is often seen in some official art from that phase, it's not as... colorful as the one in my illustration.
Her watercolor has more of a Phase 1 inspired vibe and even though it has black shadows, they aren't saturated enough as they should be. Still my favorite illustration of the four.
And so I end this post 😬. I hope you liked reading it and I appreciate the gesture 'cause I don't usually share the reason for my illustrations very much. I'll probably do it another time.

How to Build a Rap Persona: Getting Into the Music Industry as a Rapper
Breaking into the music industry as a rapper requires more than just lyrical talent or a catchy beat—it demands the cultivation of a compelling rap persona. Your persona is the unique identity that differentiates you from countless other aspiring artists in a competitive landscape. It’s the combination of your style, message, sound, and overall presence that makes listeners connect with you. This guide explores the essential steps to develop a rap persona that can help you stand out and make a lasting impression in the music industry.
1. Define Your Unique Sound and Style
Your sound is your sonic fingerprint. It’s the distinct way your voice, flow, and lyrics come together to create music that feels unmistakably you. The music industry has room for innovation, and listeners crave authenticity. To define your sound:
Experiment with Genres: While staying rooted in hip-hop, incorporate elements from other genres like jazz, trap, funk, or R&B.
Play with Your Flow: How you deliver your lyrics is as important as the words themselves. Experiment with speed, rhythm, and pauses.
Be Consistent: Once you find a sound that resonates with you and your audience, build on it. Consistency helps establish your identity.
For example, Kendrick Lamar is known for his thought-provoking lyrics and dynamic delivery, while artists like Lil Nas X combine rap with pop elements to create a broader appeal.
2. Develop a Strong Visual Identity
Your visual identity plays a critical role in how your audience perceives you. From your wardrobe to album artwork, the way you present yourself visually should align with your music and persona.
Fashion Choices: Your clothing and accessories should reflect your personality and music style. For instance, A$AP Rocky incorporates high fashion into his image, while J. Cole often opts for a laid-back, relatable look.
Branding Colors and Themes: Use consistent colors and themes across your social media profiles, album covers, and merchandise to create a recognizable brand.
Music Videos: Your videos are a chance to bring your persona to life. Use them to tell your story, showcase your creativity, and visually express your identity.
3. Create a Compelling Backstory
Fans connect with artists who have compelling stories. Your journey, challenges, and triumphs are all part of what makes you unique.
Authenticity Matters: Share real experiences that shaped who you are. Whether it’s growing up in a tough neighborhood or overcoming personal struggles, these stories resonate with audiences.
Incorporate Themes: Let your backstory influence your lyrics and themes. For example, if perseverance is a big part of your journey, make it a recurring theme in your music.
Eminem's rise to fame is a classic example. His story of growing up in poverty and using music as an outlet for his struggles became a central part of his persona.
4. Hone Your Stage Presence
Your live performances are a powerful way to build your persona. When you perform, you’re not just delivering music—you’re telling a story and creating an experience.
Energy and Confidence: Command the stage with energy and confidence that captivates the audience.
Signature Moves: Develop habits or moves that make your performances memorable, like Travis Scott’s crowd-hyping energy or Kanye West’s theatrical stage designs.
Engage with Fans: Acknowledge your audience, make eye contact, and interact with them. It creates a deeper connection.
5. Craft Your Lyrical Identity
Your lyrics are at the heart of your rap persona. They reflect your thoughts, values, and experiences.
Write with Purpose: Consider what message you want to convey through your music. Are you a storyteller, a motivator, or a provocateur?
Use Personal Experiences: Incorporate real-life events into your lyrics to make them relatable and impactful.
Experiment with Wordplay: Clever metaphors, puns, and wordplay not only demonstrate your skills but also make your lyrics more engaging.
Artists like Nas and Jay-Z are known for their introspective and poetic lyrics, while others like Cardi B use humor and confidence to showcase their personality.
6. Build a Consistent Online Presence
In today’s music industry, your online presence is as important as your music. Social media platforms offer an opportunity to showcase your persona to a global audience.
Be Authentic: Share content that reflects your personality and values. Authenticity helps build trust and loyalty.
Engage Regularly: Respond to comments, participate in trends, and interact with fans to stay relevant.
Post Strategically: Use a mix of behind-the-scenes content, music releases, and personal moments to give fans a holistic view of who you are.
Think of how Drake balances relatability with a luxurious lifestyle, creating an aspirational yet approachable image.
7. Leverage Your Network
Building a rap persona doesn’t happen in isolation. The people you collaborate with can influence how others perceive you.
Collaborate Wisely: Work with artists, producers, and videographers whose style complements your persona.
Seek Mentorship: Learning from established rappers can provide guidance on building a career and persona.
Build Community: Engage with your local music scene and online communities to establish yourself as part of a broader movement.
8. Stay True to Yourself
While evolving your persona is essential as you grow, staying true to yourself is crucial for long-term success. Audiences can sense inauthenticity, and forcing a persona that doesn’t align with who you are will eventually backfire.
Embrace Your Flaws: Perfection isn’t relatable. Let your imperfections shine—they make you human.
Evolve Organically: As your music and experiences change, allow your persona to grow naturally.
Conclusion
Building a rap persona is a multifaceted process that requires introspection, creativity, and consistency. It’s about blending your sound, style, story, and presence into an identity that resonates with audiences and leaves a lasting impression. By defining your unique characteristics and staying authentic, you can craft a persona that not only gets you noticed but also helps you thrive in the music industry. Remember, your persona isn’t just who you are—it’s how the world sees and remembers you as a rapper.

Celebrities with Dental Implants : Before and After
Tumblr media
When it comes to achieving a flawless smile, celebrities frequently turn to cosmetic dental treatments. From teeth whitening to veneers, these enhancements help them maintain their iconic looks. For some stars, though, simple whitening or alignment isn’t enough. Dental implants have become a popular choice for those seeking a permanent, natural-looking solution to replace missing or damaged teeth. This advanced treatment offers a seamless and comfortable replacement, allowing many celebrities to maintain their signature smiles.
In this blog by Surya Dental Care, we delve into the benefits of dental implants, answering common questions about the procedure and showcasing top celebrities who’ve undergone dental implants, proving that even the famous rely on these solutions to perfect their smiles.
10 Celebrities Who Have Dental Implants
Celebrities set trends in many areas, and dental health is no exception. Here are ten well-known personalities who have used dental implants to enhance their smiles:
Tom Cruise: The Hollywood icon has transformed his smile, choosing dental implants to replace damaged teeth.
Ed Helms: Known for his role in The Hangover, Helms is open about receiving a dental implant after losing a tooth early in his career.
George Clooney: His famous smile wasn’t all natural—Clooney has reportedly had multiple dental procedures, including implants.
Christie Brinkley: After a helicopter accident left her with two broken teeth, Brinkley opted for dental implants to restore her smile.
Demi Moore: Moore has shared her experience with tooth loss due to stress, and dental implants helped her regain her dazzling smile.
Mike Tyson: The boxer replaced missing teeth with dental implants, restoring his well-known grin.
Morgan Freeman: The actor enhanced his smile with dental implants, adding to his youthful appearance on screen.
Catherine Zeta-Jones: The Oscar-winning actress reportedly chose implants to keep her smile camera-ready.
50 Cent: The rapper used dental implants to repair his smile after an injury.
Victoria Beckham: Fashion icon and former singer, Beckham relied on dental implants to maintain her signature smile.
Why Dental Implants Matter
Dental implants aren’t just for appearances—they play a vital role in oral health by preserving bone structure and ensuring proper tooth function. A great smile is a valuable asset for anyone, and implants provide a lasting, durable solution to safeguard it. But are dental implants painful? Let’s explore what to expect during the procedure.
Does Getting a Dental Implant Hurt?
A common concern with dental implants is whether the procedure causes pain. Fortunately, with modern dental technology and anesthetics, the process is typically quite comfortable.
During the procedure, local anesthesia is applied, numbing the implant area, so patients feel minimal to no discomfort. Afterward, some mild swelling or soreness may occur, but it’s usually manageable with over-the-counter pain relief and resolves within a few days. For anxious patients, options like sedation dentistry are available, allowing for a calm, pain-free experience.
Painless Dental Implants at Surya Dental Care
At Surya Dental Care, we prioritize a smooth, comfortable dental implant experience. Using advanced technologies such as 3D imaging and computer-guided implant placement, we enhance precision, minimize discomfort, and speed up recovery time. Our skilled team applies minimally invasive techniques, reducing swelling and ensuring faster healing.
For added comfort, we offer sedation options, including conscious sedation and IV sedation, to keep patients relaxed throughout the procedure. With these methods, dental implants can be a virtually painless experience, giving you a beautiful, functional smile without stress.

Pairing: Eminem x Black!Fem!OC [King]
Warning(s): Cursing, drug abuse, racial discrimination, sexual assault
Summary: 2000s seemed to be quite the highlight between the fashion and the rise of pop culture. Seemingly the new faces of shock value, rapper Marshall Mathers and rockstar King Woods seem to find a common ground amongst the unnecessary bullshit.
Tumblr media
2019 - Interview
"I understand that you're not the type to talk about your personal life, especially your relationship. If you could, how would you describe meeting your wife and her band?"
Marshall bites his lip in thought for a moment. He nods, agreeing with the idea, "meeting her? It was funny as hell. What I thought about her and the girls? They're hardcore, even to this day."
1999 - Vans Warped Tour
Fame was a peculiar bitch and for some odd reason, she continued to bless King and the girls. One of the greatest gifts they received was the privilege to be a part of the infamous pop-punk music festival, Vans Warped Tour.
Following a lineup of bands who were as new as them while others were considered veterans in the industry. Not to forget, there were even a couple of non-alternative artists joining the fun.
Playing the main stage, their hit song 'Down with the Sickness' received great reception as the crowd beautifully replicated King's belches. If there was one thing that made the girls wanna break face on stage was the obvious diversity in the crowd that screamed for them.
The amount of women, especially ones who resembled King and Tink. It was clear that the band's presence in the genre was creating a positive change that only a handful of minority artists tried to achieve. Reaching the end of their stage, they played 'You Spin Me Round'.
As usual the girls explored outside of their marked spots, interacting with the fans. King would let the crowd scream the lyrics into the mic with a smile, Harley erratically swung her head until she was dizzy, Maliyah was strumming from the top of the stereos while security watched with intensity, Iris was spraying the crowd and crew with water, and Tink was crowd surfing with the confetti filled balls.
Unbeknownst to them, a nearly petrified Marshall watched from the side of the stage where he was guided to wait for his moment to walk on stage. Beside him stood Deshaun, who couldn't hold back his laugh.
"Well shit, Doody," the taller man smiles. "How the hell are we gonna beat that? I ain't never seen some shit like that before."
Marshall shakes his head, "I feel sick." He tries to run off only to be stopped by his best friend. Deshaun shakes his head, "no, the fuck you're not. Come on, man, we've been waiting for this. You ain't that kid who'd choke up anymore, you're the shit, Doody."
Their eyes catch sight of the sweat drenched woman come off stage, however, King was sporting an open wound on her eyebrow as dots of blood decorate her eye. Despite the obvious mix of worry and confusion on her members' faces, the leader walked with a grin.
As they went to walk past Marshall and Deshaun, the blond couldn't help his curiosity. "Aye," he calls out, "are you okay?"
The girls turn to look at him, just now realizing he was there. King nods, "yeah. If anything, this just a regular day for us."
"You bleed on a regular?" Marshall raises an eyebrow. King laughs, "not so much that. I'm really clumsy and the hardcore scene doesn't make it any better."
Deshaun joins in, "we just saw. That was one hell of a show y'all put on, never seen some shit like that." Maliyah cheeses, "just you wait, getting caught up with the crowd is a lot easier than it seems."
Iris leans over King's shoulder, "are y'all new here? I don't think I've seen your faces before." Her Canadian accent was clear and thicker than a Snickers.
"Yeah, I'm Eminem, but you can call me Marshall and this is my hype man, Proof. We're rappers," the bleach blond introduces, gnawing on a piece of gum.
Tink raises an eyebrow, "oh so y'all some new, new faces." Marshall shrugs, "somethin' like that." Deshaun waves him off, "don't mind him, y'all. He gets a little on the fence when speaking about rapping, white boy and all."
"Why? You don't gotta act all like that," King shakes her head. "If there's anyone who really understands, it's us. Despite the bullshit you get for being white, man, go ahead and shove your foot up their asses."
Before Marshall could respond, a small smile peaking across his face, a yell interrupts them. "King?! Girls?! What the fucking Hell?"
They all turn around to see a tall, bodybuilder like man runs over the group. At first, Marshall tenses, impulsively judging him to be King's boyfriend.
Harley pulls a 'whoopsie' expression, "let's go to the principal office, kids." King laughs, explaining to the boys, "that's Theo, he's our manager/big brother. He's only 34, but we've caused all his hair to fall out in a matter of three months."
Marshall snorts, quickly looking away. In the meantime, the group of five walk over to the stressed out Theo in hopes of deescalating his heartbeat. Deshaun pulls Marshall to the stage after a technician gestures for them.
"Let's go, Doody," he smirks. "We can find the hottie with the tats later."
2019 - Interview
"Wait, cause I remember that day, too," King laughs. "The first time I met The Eminem, I nearly scared the shit out of him."
The interviewer laughs, clapping his hands. "So, the late 90s-early 2000s was the peak era for both of your careers. How did you guys socialize being a part of two different genres, different entourages?"
King rubs the palm of her hands, "well... that's a good question cause we've both had a lot going on at the time. For the remaining of the Warped Tour, we hung out, but afterwards, we relied on calling each other."
"Wasn't he also with Kim at this point, as well? How did you take the idea of him being taken?"
"Yes, they were together. I believe, that was the first time that they got married," King nods. "However, at the time, I never really cared or saw him in a romantic or sexual way."
"Really? Why?"
She shrugs, "it's simple, really. As the girls and I were starting our career in a vulnerable spot, we were more focused on trying to appease the public and our fans than we were trying to build a social life in the industry."
"Like, Iris and Tink had their sweethearts riding hard for them whereas Maliyah was stressing over the well-being of her family, and Harley and I were just focused on being the best we could be."
"And by 'vulnerable spot' in your career, what do you mean by that?"
King raises her hand, showing off the tatted backside, "Tink and I are black, Maliyah's Mexican with indigenous roots, Harley is mixed with Vietnamese and it shows in her features, and Iris is a woman pursuing a career in alternative metal."
She continues, "despite how open the alternative culture is supposed to be, it is very white male dominated and we were taking a risk at pursuing our dreams. Hell, our record label was taking a huge fucking risk with us."
1999 - MTV VMAs
It just seemed as if gifts just keep giving this year. The girls were nominated for a few awards and given an opportunity to perform on the VMA stage.
Working with an amazing, family-like team, the girls had faith in being styled as a group without looking uncoordinated. King was dressed in a black, lace corset that stopped at her midriff paired with skinny, ripped black jeans, black leather fur-lined trench coat and matching buckled platform boots.
Maliyah was in a long, tight dramatic mermaid dress with a trail that was lined with black fur. The right side consisted of a slit that showed off her thick, platform heels designed with lunar and solar gold markings. Tink was in a one shoulder laced corset with black skinny jeans and heeled boots.
Harley dawned a simple black tank with a leather fur-lined trench that dusted the back of her knees paired with black denim bellbottoms and pointed heeled boots. Iris wore a black lace bodice silk gown that ended at her knees paired with furry sandal heels.
Posing for the paparazzi, they each posed accordingly. King and Harley simply stared down the lens while Iris and Tink grinned like the perfect celebrities and Maliyah showed off a smirk. Moving on, a journalist calls the girls over in hopes for an interview.
"Hello, girls," the woman smiles over her mic. "You all look so beautiful, today. What's the inspiration and who's responsible?"
Maliyah answers, "we simply just went off of who we are and what fits. Now, who's responsible will have to be our amazing team known as Hoodwinkle. They just really know how to balance alternative looks with street looks."
"Well, you ladies look amazing," the reporter nods. "So, I just wanted you a couple of questions, if you don't mind. First one, how are you feeling tonight since you're nominated in four categories?"
Harley shrugs, "we wanna feel confident, but in reality, we're practically shitting our pants." The others nod, laughing. Iris adds, "I can't lie, I don't think any of us prepared a speech just in case."
King waves her off, "at least it'll be authentic if we win." The reporter laughs, nodding, "true. Next one, are there any artists that you've been waiting to see?"
Tink claps her hands, "Ms. Lauryn Hill." The girls nod in agreement. King adds on, "Smash Mouth. Our boys, Blink-182. Who else?" Iris chimes in, "and TLC."
Harley snaps her fingers, accidentally snagging King's nose ring. "Oh, my bad," she laughs at the playful side-eye. "Isn't there a newbie performing tonight? His name sounds like some damn skittles or some."
"Eminem?" The reporter asks. The drummer nods, "yeah. We met the kid a couple months back during Warped Tour, he's cool as hell."
King and the others nod in excitement. "Oh, yeah," the leader laughs. "Add his tiny ass to the list, that's our boy." The reporter laughs, hoping to receive a story from the new information.
"So, you guys said that you met the rapper just recently, right?" She rhetorically asks. "What's he like? Is he as vulgar as his lyrics? How does he treat you since you're women?"
Immediately, the energy shifts as the girls take noticeable step from the journalist and her camera guy. Harley, Iris, and Tink shake their heads walking off whereas Maliyah tries to drag an agitated King with them.
"First off, he's a cool ass guy who just wants to make music. Everyone is entitled to their own creative space, that's why things like songwriting and comic books aren't taught in school. They're considered creative works," King retorts.
"And he's a gentleman who doesn't take bullshit, so piss off." She finally states, moving along with Maliyah. The reporter shrinks back in shock, not expecting a woman to come to his defense publicly.

Customizing Your Grillz: Diamond Dust and Beyond
Tumblr media
Grillz have evolved from a niche accessory to a mainstream fashion statement, giving individuals the opportunity to express their style with a personal touch. Whether you prefer a subtle gleam or an extravagant sparkle, grillz customization offers limitless possibilities. Among the most popular trends today is diamond dust grillz, known for their shimmering appearance and understated elegance. But that's just one option—there are plenty of other ways to make your grillz uniquely yours.
In this guide, we’ll explore how to customize grillz to reflect your personal style, with a focus on the allure of diamond dust grillz and other premium choices.
Why Customize Your Grillz?
Customizing your grillz allows you to stand out with a piece of jewelry that is tailored to your tastes. Grillz are no longer reserved for rappers or celebrities; they’ve become a way for anyone to showcase their individuality. Here are a few reasons why custom grillz are the ultimate form of self-expression:
Personalization: Custom grillz allow you to choose everything, from the material to the design, so you can craft a piece that reflects your style.
Perfect Fit: Grillz are molded to fit your teeth precisely, ensuring comfort and a secure fit.
Endless Design Options: With custom grillz, you can incorporate different metals, stones, engravings, and more, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
High-Quality Materials: Custom grillz are typically crafted from premium materials like gold, platinum, and high-grade silver, ensuring they last and maintain their appearance over time.
The Allure of Diamond Dust Grillz
One of the most popular premium options in recent years is diamond dust grillz. These grillz are crafted with a finely textured surface that mimics the sparkle of crushed diamonds, giving them a subtle shine without the use of actual stones. Here’s why diamond dust grillz have become a top choice for many:
Elegant Sparkle: Unlike fully encrusted diamond grillz, which can be quite flashy, diamond dust grillz offer a more understated elegance. The finely textured surface reflects light beautifully, giving the grillz a shimmering effect that is both subtle and sophisticated.
Affordable Luxury: While real diamonds are expensive, diamond dust grillz offer a similar sparkling look without the high cost. This makes them an affordable luxury for those looking to add a bit of glam without breaking the bank.
Lightweight and Comfortable: Because they don’t involve the weight of actual diamonds, diamond dust grillz tend to be lighter and more comfortable for everyday wear. You can enjoy the look of a luxurious accessory without sacrificing comfort.
Versatile Design: Whether you prefer gold, silver, or platinum, diamond dust grillz can be customized in various metals to match your aesthetic. Their subtle shine makes them versatile enough to pair with casual outfits or more formal attire.
Premium Customization Options Beyond Diamond Dust
In addition to diamond dust grillz, there are several other premium options for customizing your grillz. Here are a few ideas to consider:
Fully Diamond-Encrusted Grillz: These grillz feature actual diamonds embedded in the surface, providing maximum shine and luxury.
Colored Gemstone Grillz: Add a pop of color with sapphires, rubies, or emeralds for a unique, personalized look.
Mixed Metals: Combine different metals, like gold and platinum, for a modern, dynamic design.
Open-Face Grillz: For those who want something more subtle, open-face grillz highlight the natural shape of your teeth while offering a sleek, minimalist look.
Final Thoughts
Customizing your grillz is the best way to create a piece of jewelry that reflects your unique style. Whether you opt for the understated elegance of diamond dust grillz or go bold with fully encrusted diamonds, the possibilities for personalization are endless. In 2024, customization is all about creating a look that’s both luxurious and personal, and grillz are the perfect canvas for expressing yourself.
