NND Week 2024 - Ruby Kept Floating Array

Hey peeps!

Sorry about the radio silence on the NND front. Ngl, I’ve been really struggling when it comes to drawing literally anything recently, and that unfortunately bled over into Nuts & Dolts Week despite my best efforts

I was really only able to complete this piece for the week, since the sketch for it stuck with me and was simple enough to complete. However, I’m adding the concept sketches I made because idk I liked ‘em for the most part - I just ran out of time to do them

I have no idea how to fix this rut I’m in, but I’ll figure it out :)

Okay, so, apparently the Fallout TV show is canon.

That is just terrible management of your IP. TV shows should always be an alternate continuity of a video game.

I enjoyed New Vegas well enough, so I'm definitely a mite annoyed they decided to nuke the NCR all over again which... sure was a choice. Sounds like mostly they wanted an excuse to center the Brotherhood of Steel more, which is a fan favorite faction for baffling af reasons.

Stupid choices or not, I am going to delight in the rage of the NV stans because I hate them. Their tears of rage will be delicious, and their screams music to my ears.

btw if anyones looking for a tv show rec Kingdom on netflix is one of my faves rn its a historical kdrama zombie horror and it has 2 seasons plus a movie :3

yes but also on a more serious note, because Nico is such a beloved character there are inevitably going to be both creeps and people who dislike the casting and make sure it is known. Like at least the main cast have been in the spotlight before and are all (pre)teens, but casting a 9-10yo child... that's a lot.

They're gonna need to have one hell of a support system behind the screens, as there should be with any production with kids that young.

how are they gonna adequately prepare whatever child they cast for nico di angelo. it has got to be impossible for someone that young to give informed consent about playing the saddest wettest loser in all of human history. like hey kid i know youre sprightly and all of ten, but we need you to be in all five stages of grief at all times. remember, your mother was killed in fascist italy, youre eighty years old, and now youre in love with the guy who killed your sister. say this next line like you know what it's like to be an ear of corn.
