I follow the lady who owns this home, on Instagram. She flat-out refused the realtor's advice to redo her colorful home in Richardson, TX, in white & gray, in order to sell it . She wrote: The hubs got a job opportunity in Austin that he couldn’t refuse…so I am being kidnapped and forced to sell my colorful pattern party dream house to one of you losers. (Don’t listen to me, I’m just bitter.) The 1976 home has 3bds, 2ba, & is listed for $469K. She was right, it's already under contract.

I notice that the real estate photos are so dulled down. The entrance is bright pink with flamingo wallpaper. It looks dull and beige.

I mean, really, this is the actual color of the entrance.

The photos have to be dulled down on purpose.

The blue in the living room is much brighter and I bet they made her take up the area rug.

The dining area has a great ceiling mural.

A nice arch includes the kitchen peninsula with a counter and seats.

The actual kitchen with a view of a pink room.

The kitchen's pretty big, even though it's a galley layout.

The top photo is dark and subdued. The real dining area is lively and bright.

Look at the color of the wallpaper.

What a difference.

The primary bedroom. Both the realty version and the actual room.

They even dulled down the bathroom.

Give me modern AU Thranduil who, after a decade of mourning his wife and some serious grief counselling, has decided to start dating again except he has zero clue what he's doing. He's only dated and been intimate with his late wife so he's not really sure what he's supposed to be doing or how to do it.

His friends suggest dating apps but that feels too overwhelming and dangerous seeing as he still has his son living at home. It would be just his luck to get murdered by a potential suitor on the first date. Next is people he's not spoken to in decades throwing themselves at him or friends trying to set him up with people they know which gives Thranduil such severe anxiety that he always backs out last minute. Nobody seems to believe him when he admits he's actually quite shy.

Everyone keeps telling him that he's so pretty he won't be on the shelf for long which might be true from the neck upwards, but below that his body is a patchwork of burn scars, skin graft scars and holes and dents from various medical procedures he's had to endure. The thought of someone seeing him without his clothes on makes him feel riddled with insecurity. Having sex with someone else whilst on paper sounds great, but the realty is Thranduil hasn't even kissed anyone for a years and would no doubt be an awful bedroom partner.

He's often ill either with a migraine or the damage done to his eye which is a lot for someone else to take on and he has a kid, who comes first no matter what. There's not many people who'd be willing to take on someone with so much baggage as himself.

He tells all this Bard over the soy latte's his friend makes him at the restaurant he owns. Bard has always been nice to him and is also a widower so he understands Thranduil's trepidations about dating. He's also very nice to look at and Thranduil would much rather sit and watch him make coffee all day then go out with one of the suitors Elrond has dug up for him.

It take him three months and a not-so-gentle talking to from Elrond for Thranduil to realise that Bard has been flirting with him the entire time he's been moaning about his awful dating life. It takes him another month to actually do something about it and is genuinely surprised when Bard immediately says yes and spends the evening of their first date riddled with anxiety and speed dialing his therapist.

The 3 things I hate the most about GA & EL arguments:

Nesta didn't change Elain's anatomy to bear Illyrian babies, so she and Azriel can't be together. Also, Gwyn has pliable bones, so clearly she can bear Illyrian babies, which means she and Azriel are endgame.

I'm sorry, WHAT? There are so many things wrong with this. First, you just reduced not only Elain, but your favorite character as well, to nothing more than her childbearing abilities. What is this, the fifteen hundreds? Second, we don't actually know if Nesta changed Elain's anatomy or not; she said "so none of us have to go through this again," only mentioning herself. That does not exclude Elain. Third, Gwyn having pliable bones has absolutely nothing to do with her childbearing abilities; she doesn't have Illyrian anatomy, so she, too, should actually be unable to do that. Fourth, you don't have to be able to have biological kids to be in a relationship with someone; that invalidates the realties of so many real people in the real world. Let's not even go there.

Azriel's feelings toward Elain are only lustful, and he will actually be in love with Gwyn.

So, assuming that's actually who Azriel is, you want your favorite character to end up with a f***boy? That sounds like a great storyline. Actually, that is the exact opposite of Azriel's character, and one of the reasons we love him so much. He feels so much more than lust for Elain; all you have to do is look at the countless moments between the two of them since they met in ACOMAF.

Lucien has suffered enough; he should be happy, so he should be with his mate, Elain.

Actually, Elain said she wasn't interested in Lucien. She doesn't want him. That should immediately be enough to eliminate the possibility of a relationship between Elain and Azriel. Ignoring Elain's decision in favor of a male's supposed wants/needs shouldn't even be considered here. Additionally, Lucien seems to be developing a relationship with Vassa, so let's look at what's actually on the page before jumping to conclusions here. Azriel says to Rhys that Lucien will never be good enough for Elain, and, honestly, that's true. Lucien is not the perfect, ideal male so many make him out to be.

As an Elriel, I can say with confidence that I read the series and saw Elain. Not who people pretend she is, not who people want her to be. Just her. And what that told me was this: she is beautiful, strong, gentle, kind, and loving; she deserves to make her own choices, particularly when it comes to love, and in canon text, that choice is Azriel. She chooses him, and he chooses her. Nothing more needs to be said.

great idea i had for a fic:

when jayce's around 26, he and Viktor are testing out some new way to contain the crystals' energy when a fuse blows up and the prototype explodes. this was pretty standard for them, so Viktor doesn't really react to the explosion apart from the original finch and blowing out a breath. He lets out his usual "you alright?" not even looking at jayce as he dusts himself down

jayce doesn't reply.

he's face down on the ground, unmoving. That is the worst day of Viktor's life.

A big chunk of the frame had hit him square in the jaw but the impact against the ground had been what had knocked him out. The doctors said it took them two hours to fish out all the crystal fragments off his face and neck, said that there might be some still under his skin, but that they were not harmful.

jayce sleeps for two weeks and three days.

he wakes up on a Tuesday. Viktor is working, sitting on a chair by the window, just beside him. He has not slept for days. One second he is reading his notes and the next he's glancing at his partner to find him sitting up, eyes fixed on the wall in front of him. Viktor puts his notes aside and straightens his back, ready to stand up, but the movement startles jayce so bad a finch almost knocks him off the bed. When he locks eyes with Viktor he looks terrified, like a bunny in front of a wolf. Then they relax. Then Viktor could swear he can see grief in them.

jayce throws himself off the bed, towards Viktor, falls to his knees trying to stand up and crawls his way so, so quickly towards him. Jayce collapses over Viktor's lap, clinging to him and mumbling things Viktor cant make out.

with a shaky hand, Viktor hugs him back. It scares the shit out of him.

and after that we have a like, Victor Frankenstein and Henry Clerval kind of situation in which, it is explained throughout the fic (to a reader that understands this because of the events of the show, but not to viktor) that when he was unconscious jayce had been trapped in one, or maybe more, of the bad realties like the one from ep 7.

jayce is so distraught from what he has seen inside the arcane he spends the summer bedridden, he suffers from night terrors and fevers (ejem ejem Frankenstein ep5 BUT jayce is victor and viktor is henry and not the other way around because how FUN is that change of dynamics??) and Viktor takes care of him.

i think a good way to end this would be a scene where jayce asks Viktor something like "you are still working on hextech, aren't you?" and with a heavy heart Viktor replies that he is. Jayce tells him that he does not want him to, but its said with no energy, melancholically. Viktor goes on about how he would make sure that the things jayce saw would NEVER happen. Jayce just looks..... defeated. He says that he cannot stop Viktor and then the reader understands that jayce, truly does not have the strength to stop Viktor OR to leave Viktor. so he just. stays. knowing.

and they repeat the cycle all the same, and they have the same exact ending.

Hmm so how professional do you think om characters would address a wound ?

Let's imagine mc accidentally cut themselves and they're bleeding , who'd be the fastest and who'd be the most skilled and like so ? I personally think beel would be the most skilled one in tending to wounds but barbatos might be the fastest.

The Demon Bros & Undatables: Addressing a Wound

tw: mentions of blood, cuts, minor injuries (paper cut, small scrape from kitchen knife, broken glass). most of them are vague injuries, and are located on the hand or arm, but please be mindful of reading below!

Lucifer

- Definitely knows what he's doing, so you're surprised to see his hands tremble as he wraps the cut on your arm. You don't mention it, half because you doubt his pride would allow him to acknowledge it, and half because you don't want to disrupt his working

- To your surprise, he outright tells you, breaking the silence as he works. He pauses for just a moment to look into your eyes, his way of confirming you'd noticed what he was trying to ignore

- "Seeing you hurt...it effected me more than I thought. I'm just glad you're okay, and that I was here to help. How is it feeling now, love?"

Mammon

- Panics for a moment (or two), but when you start to pull out your DDD to ask one of his brothers for help, he snaps into realty

- Rushes you to the bathroom, and orders you to put as much pressure over the wound as you could while running it under cold water. He grabbed the few medical supplies he had around, and then began assessing the damage

- "Gee, MC, yah gotta be careful! I hate seeing yah hurt like this...but don't worry! The Great Mammon is here to help!"

Leviathan

- He isn't the biggest fan of blood, but has gotten used to the squeamish feeling he gets seeing it through watching anime. This, however, didn't prepare him for when you hurt yourself handing out with him

- It was only a paper cut, but the way you winced and tried to hide the line of blood trickling from your finger almost had him fainted. But the last thing he wanted was you going through any amount of pain alone, so he swallowed his nerves, and took your bloody finger in his hand

- "MC, wh-what can I do. How do we stop this? Tell me and I'll get it, or do it, or whatever is necessary to heal you!"

Satan (see end for notes)

- As the torturer of souls, he hardly bats an eye when you mutter "ouch, fuck!". But then he remembers you're human, his human, and jumps from the chair to your side

- You'd been cutting yourself a snack, and grazed the side of your finger. Your fist was wrapped tightly around it as you reached for a towel, but as you moved your hand to apply it, Satan placed his firmly around the injury

- "I'll put some pressure on it, you rinse off your hand and then we'll walk to the bathroom and get you cleaned up, okay?"

Asmodeus

- You try to casually tell Asmo you'd hurt yourself, but he nearly explodes when he sees the blood. He races to get supplies, so you move to the sink he'd designated as yours and begin to wash yourself off

- He returns with what you recognize as Lucifer's emergency kit, and starts ruffling through it to find what he needs. His strategy is a little messy, but you're tended to before you know it, and very thankful for his quick help

- "MC, of course! I can't have my beautiful human being hurt, now can I? And we'll use my healing serum in a few days, too, to avoid any scarring"

Beelzebub

- For a demon who spends most of his time eating, he's incredibly efficient at addressing your wound. Your brain has hardly recognized it when he's applying pressure with one hand, other grabbing towels to absorb any blood

- Asks questions about how deep you think it went, and how clean the knife was, using the information to determine that you'd be okay (something you figured, but thanked him for reassuring you of anyways)

- "You'll be alright, MC. We'll go get a band aid for you, and in a few days you'll be nearly good as new. Now, let's get you something for the pain, too. A scrape like that has got to sting"

Belphegor

- You're glad he's awake when you accidentally hurt yourself, and even gladder that he rushes to your side and takes your hand in his before you can see any blood begin to fall

- Walks you down the stairs to the main bathroom, where he carefully washes and wraps your wound. The pain almost immediately subsides, and you're impressed at the thoroughness Belphie practiced

- "It just seemed like the right things to do. I treated you the same way I'd have treated myself. That's only fair, right?"

Diavolo

- Helping Diavolo decorate for a party seemed simple enough, until he kept giving you increasingly difficult tasks. After just a few hours, you found yourself at the top of a very tall ladder, replacing light bulbs in a chandelier

- They were old, dusty, and most of them had burnt out. Devildom technology was advanced enough that their light bulbs lasted decades, and all needed changing around the same time. This was nice, but after decades of use, the glass was weak, so you weren't totally surprised when one shattered in your hand

- "MC, fall down, I'll catch you!" for some reason, you listen, falling an incredible height, but he does catch you. "I'm taking you to the bathroom, I know Barbatos has lots of medical equipment stored around. We'll wash and get any glass out of your hand before bandaging it nicely. Don't worry, I've got you"

Barbatos

- You were spending some quality MC time in the castle when you accidentally hurt yourself. You clutched your arm tightly and found Barbatos, who you knew would have the tools and intelligence to help

- And he did. You quickly went to his office, where he pulled out a large bag of human, angel, and demon first aid tools. He knew which ones were for humans, and quickly applied them to your wound after disinfecting it

- "I'm glad you came to me, MC. Besides my extensive supply of tools, it makes me happy you came to me over anyone else when you were hurt. I hope I can help you next time, too"

Simeon

- He was showing you a book Michael recommended him when you turned one of the pages and got a paper cut. You only winced a bit at the pain, but Simeon instantly took your finger and kissed it gently

- Somehow, the pain seemed to go away, and he took a nearby band aid and loosely wrapped it around the cut. He worked fast, and you basically forgot about the small injury altogether within a few minutes

- "I get paper cuts all the time, I don't know how Satan doesn't too with the amount he reads. I'm sad that you got one from one of my books, so I hope my care helps your healing"

Solomon

- You were helping him prepare dinner when your fingers got too close to the knife, and you accidentally took a layer or two of skin off with the carrot slice. You stood in shock for a moment before grabbing a towel and squeezing it around your finger

- Realizing what had happened, Solomon quickly got the first aid kit from your bathroom, and you met him by the sink. After cleaning off your wound and applying ointment and a small wrap, he held your hand in his, a clear guilt taking hold over him

- "I'm so sorry, MC. If you didn't have to monitor my cooking so closely you wouldn't have gotten hurt. I just hope it isn't too painful, and that you get better soon" (you promise him it wasn't his fault, but he only half believes you)

Satan note) Something I kept thinking about with Satan is that as he tortures to kill, not heal, he wouldn't know how to address a wound. BUT I think he learns how through reading, and also he definitely does research as the two of you grow closer. So he's ready for situations like that ^

It was a beautiful gloomy day, there was a nice sprinkle outside. You are currently cuddled up in bed reading a book when there was a knock at your door. You place your book down then ventured out into the living room, you open and were met with big brown eyes those you belonged to your neighbor Eddie Munson. “Hey” he spoke first “Hi” “Um so I was bored and thought maybe I should come bother you because you are probably also bored” you laughed “Yea ok come on in” he closed the door after himself “What’s in the bag” you asked him pointing and his black backpack “Oh my d&d stuff I need to paint some figurines for the next campaign plus finish the campaign “Are you using me too paint your little toys” “What no” he said sarcastically “You are wow and to think that you just wanted to hang out with little o’me but no you must use me” you said dramatically “No I-I really do want to hang out I just I-“ “Relax Munson I love painting and helping you out”  “I just don’t want you to think I’m using you” “Your my friend” his heart dropped yea just friends but he wanted too be more “Plus you could never use me how much the cheerleaders used me back in high school"

That is where you and Eddie met. You were the artist he was the freak You were on the student council your job was making posters for clubs and any events that were going on. You were used people being nice to you to do their homecoming proposals or to make their club sign extra. But Eddie wasn’t like that, he started developing a crush on you the moment he walked into first period. You were wearing a pair of light pink converse with drawings all over, some paint cover overalls and a black tee under along with some paint sprinkled on your arms and cheeks. When your eyes meet with his for the first time he swore it stopped for 5 seconds and that he died and went to heaven. The love at first sight moment was ruined went Mason Carver bumped into him “move freak” After class we walked out a was met with a poster JOIN OR MAKE A CLUB, with the same colors that you were covered in. That is how Hellfire was born. It took many people to convince to start the club but, in the end, he got his club, they directed him to you to make your club poster for club rush the next week. He bonded with you over the week of making the logo and posters he even helped with the other clubs, he didn’t dare to touch anything to do with sports. After that week, your friendship blossomed. But you both wanted more but never said anything.

You brought him into your room, he sat on your floor as you went into your closet to grab your art supplies. “Ok who am I painting today” “Well.... This is a Merrow they are mermaids or merman. They carry spears and here is the handbook for his colors” as you painted Eddie would tell you about the roles each person or creature was playing in his campaign. Eddie looked too cute when he was focused, his tongue was poking out, intrusive thoughts took over and you grabbed your paint brush and poked his nose. He looked at you stunned you thought he was mad until he grabbed a brush and poked your cheek, a poking war start any open flesh had color dots on them. You fell back has Eddie tried to poke your forehead, then felt a sharp pain in your lower back “Ow” “Are you ok” he was panicking thinking he hurt you, but in realty you fell on one of his figures “All good just landed on this little guy” you said holding it up "Oh wow this one looks just like you” the one had long hair dressed as a knight. “Um yea that my character he needs to be clean up bit but yea” “Aw he’s cute” you're cute you both think. He went into his bag and another figure fell out “Oh who is this” it was a girl she has your colored hair about the same length as you, a white dress flowy dress was this me you thought “Oh um that is um Eddie the banished fair maiden” he says sheepishly “What are her traits or strengths” “Um she helps patches up Eddie the banished after battle, she as a power where her food that she packs for him heals him and his wounds, and” he didn’t look you in the eye for the last part “she is really good a painting and drawing” you didn’t want to ask him just in case it wasn’t true but you really wanted to know “Eddie” “Yes” “Is she based off someone” your heart was pounding “Would it be weird if it was” he asked here goes nothing “What's her name” “um l-l-lady y/n” he said lowly “You made a character after me” couldn’t form any word he just nodded.

This is just too cute to pass up and it's such a great price. The yellow 1911 home in Woodstock, NSW, Australia is the main residence and has 3bds, but you also get the town's original old post office that's been turned into a 3 room home. Plus, many of the furnishings will be included, all for $298,875. The post office operates 12 hrs. a week, the license can be transferred to the new owner and if desired, the hours can be expanded.

Let us look inside the post office, first. Isn't this cute? It actually looks like a library or even a place where they do crafts.

It looks like they sort the mail in here. Remember, it operates as a post office 12hrs. a week. I don't know what building this room is in, but I would imagine it's in the post office- it's too much trouble for the realty to put pictures in order, and it drives me nuts trying to figure out these houses.

Behind the main room is this cozy spacious living room with a corner fireplace.

The kitchen is wonderful, too. It's big, sunny, modern/vintage, and even has a vintage stove in the original fireplace.

Lovely bedroom with stick walls.

And, a lovely bath with nice big sink mounted on an antique sewing machine.

And, now we're in the main residence which is the yellow house.

It also has a cozy living room with a fireplace. You can tell by the soot on the mantel that they use it a lot.

Next is the dining room. It has with big sunny windows. It's also a large room. This is one large room divided by a bookcase and it's has lots of windows, but half of them have awnings.

On the other side of the bookcase is a bedroom.

I'm a little confused. This kitchen is huge and it actually looks like it's operating as a luncheonette. Has a very nice fireplace.

The front garden and porch for the yellow house are so pretty.

This is very nice, you can see the cute striped awnings.

In the back is a covered patio and a beautiful lawn.

Another very pretty covered patio.

And, in a private corner is a pool.

Interesting, cute property for a great price.

Now, that's good to know, there's not only school, but a bowling club nearby.

♪ It's christmastime ♪ One direction leads the way for band-aid 30's "Do they know it's Christmas 2014" with all proceeds going to charity. Harry Styles freely participated in that song. But what does he think about Taylor swift supposedly writing about him on her new album.

What was it like when you heard about "Out of the woods" and you would be the focus of that song?

I don't know that that's confirmed, is it? Like I said before, we all write from personal experience. So it would be hypocritical. And she's very good at what she does. [liam talked over the interviewer] I’ve been in some woods.

But the boys fit in nicely at more formal locales, too. What was that like meeting will and Kate?

That was great. We were really nervous. We were selected to go out the front door when they came in, so it was all a bit serious. But they were really nice people. And it was really a privilege to even be there.

Life certainly isn't slowing down for One Direction as they gear up to hit the road next summer. Much to the delight of young girls everywhere. Their new single "Still my girl" is quickly rising on the top 40 chart and the video for it is getting play, not only for its outrageous party in the desert theme but for its unlikely star Danny Devito.

When you think one direction, Danny Devito, I'm like wait a second. How did that happen?

It's amazing because we've watched him since we were kids. He's huge Hollywood realty. A really great guy. Stop it. When the idea of the video was put to us, to be honest, we didn't really understand it because it has nothing to do with the song. The video's quite crazy. If you think that Danny Devito is random, then it suits what happened in the video anyway.

She Took Off West, I Think That's What She Did

The sun was starting to set when Sweetjane arrived at her new home in Oasis Springs, Arizona, making the sky burn red like a nuclear ray.

Almost two years prior, her husband had died in a head-on collision. After that moment, Willow Creek never felt the same. It seemed like everywhere she turned there was a memory. Then the debts started to arrive. Joel and herself were too young to think about life insurance, let alone a will, despite their profession being the funerary business. She couldn't turn to her parents for help, they had never approved of Joel and had all but disowned her. She was lucky that they were invited to Christmas and Easter, but her parents stayed distant.

After all, she had married not only a gadjo but a gadjo who was a 4th generation mortician. They barely tolerated her plans to become a funeral director, saying she was just waiting to invite beng into their home. It was not until she had convince them that she intended to help the grieving living and the more business side of the industry did they begrudgingly approve.

She had found herself apprenticed under a Robert Stepford, owner of the Stepford WIllow Funeral Home. His son, Joel, was also apprenticed under him and soon she was more than just learning from the Stepford family. It was a pregnancy scare that forced them into a marriage that she believes neither of them were prepared for. Not long after they were wed, Robert started to display severe dementia and so Joel had to continue the business in his place.

They had 4 somewhat tumultuous years that Sweetjane doesn't like remembering. In fact, around the time he had died she was contemplating a divorce. He mostly kept his drinking under control until that fateful night he wanted to stay at a party with their friends. She had left in her own car, praying that they'd have the sense to let him stay. But they hadn't, and she was woken by a knock on the door at 4:32 in the morning. Her husband was dead, and she was alone.

Her parents did start to let her back in and her siblings helped when they could, so long as she didn't bring her business with her to their homes. Then the collectors came knocking, and she had no choice but to sell the funeral home that was also the house she and Joel lived in. She moved in with her brother.

It was Sue's idea really. Or well, he was the one that lit the spark in her brain with a single question.

"What do you want more than anything in this whole wide world? Do you want money, do you want sex, or do you want all that success?"

She thought about that herself. What did she want? At the moment, she wanted to leave Willow Creek. Maybe she could find the answer elsewhere, but it definitely was not in Willow Creek, or even the Great State of Louisiana. So she took to the realty sites and found it. A duplex for rent in Oasis Springs, Arizona. It was a two day drive from them, close enough for her to visit with enough preparation but far enough from the painful memories and for her to have the new experiences she craved.

All that travel had left her with the stolen knight statue from the front of the funeral home, her meager belongings, and $1.800 dollars in her bank account. The knight statue wasn't technically stolen because it did belong to her husband's family but was part of the things forfeited by the bank. However it was important to Joel's family and so she couldn't part with it.

It was the kind of place space explorers would have landed in 1963, when Kennedy was in Life magazine and everything was aquamarine. That image is what drew her to the town and so now that she is here, maybe she will finally find the answer to her brother's question.

All of these builds (Except for the duplex which I built) I got from the gallery and have saved to my tray. I also wrote down their original creators in the section of my notebook I use for sims stuff. I downloaded sims from the Maxis profile on the gallery to help populate the town.

The sim that lives above her in the Duplex is Johnny Zest, and her neighbors are Chet and Kev Chorduroy (Like Father, Like Bro) in Agave Abode and Kurt Lumberjackson in the other house.

Its brought me too tears

Its about realty of being a girl, it's....I don't have words right now so great....

But now it makes me sad that people kind of stated the "I am just a girl trend" I know it's a satire thing kind of countring boys will be boys,

But I geniyly saw some people thinking of it as a boys will be boys female equvlant

While the original song dint mean that.

Everday Low-Pile Cheap Carpets

~ 36 Color Options from the MLC and Ricardo Palettes ~

This low pile carpet was created for TS2 by CatherineTCJD of Sims Virtual Realty and MTS.

It comes in 36 color options from iCad's Ricardo palette and Kiri's MLC palette. Only two of the colors are repeated in my Plush Saxony Carpets (the two pink ones repeat - I love pink!) ...so, if you have both sets, you won't waste catalog space with duplicate colors.

They are found in the 'carpet' floor category for $2 each; there is also a COLLECTION file, so you can find them more easily. ...a color swatch is included and files are properly named so you can identify them and discard any colors you don't need. These would make great defaults - IMHO - for several of the in-game carpets. But, alas, I don't know how to do that. (Hint Hint)
