After watching TAZ Amnesty's finale, our favorite character is now solidly Billy. That fucking goat man only had a vocabulary of "Duck" and "Pizza" for 90% of the podcast but it only took one episode of being able to communicate unfettered to rocket that fucking guy straight to being one of the most fucking complex and interesting characters in the damn show

I think about the fact that Atsushi was the one to actively kill Fukuchi in their fight in chapter 87, and not Akutagawa, so, so much.

Like isn't it just crazy how their roles were reversed in that moment? Is Akutagawa consciously leaving the deed to Atsushi? Is Akutagawa corrupting Atsushi as much as Atsushi is purifying him? Or is he teaching him that it can't be all black and white? That there's grey nuances to morals? That sometimes the circumstances call for the most atrocious of actions too?

Or is Atsushi calling the burden on himself? Is Atsushi consciously making the choice to kill Fukuchi so that Akutagawa doesn't have to? Is Atsushi protecting Akutagawa from being put in a position where he doesn't have the choice not to kill? Has Atsushi finally acknowledged Akutagawa's effort to be better, and is he trying to protect Akutagawa from breaking the promise? Is Atsushi protecting Akutagawa's precious chance to do good? If so, that's honestly moving: for Atsushi to take someone who was stained with sin beyond forgiveness since the moment he was born, and try and preserve a purity of his that to anyone else was never there to begin with.

#I know in that moment it wasn't really a choice; for neither of them. But still? Think of what it represents.#This all makes Atsushi a very saint-like figure really.#Reminds me of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in a way. Going against God's predicaments (by loving a sinner at that)–#actually being the holiest decision a man can make. stairs are in the trees (but functional, so you just have to send your sim to go upstairs someplace in the house and he/she shall find a way by themselves. (In trees are also hiding special efects from the game - so if you turn on the autumn leaves effect, it will bring you close to magic forest atmosfere.

obsessed with the implication that the kryptonian empire destroyed both the green lantern corps and fucking apokolips. it makes sense, if the kryptonians knew how powerful they could be they would be unstoppable. if young kara can single-handedly destroy worlds imagine what an army could do. i wonder if they'll still bring in darkseid but instead of seeking conquest he's seeking revenge. i wonder if there are any thannegarians or lanterns left. i love all the twists this show is taking on superman lore and i cannot wait to see how far they can take it.
