I think my ideal fandom experience is just to log back in every six months, post about the most niche ships I can imagine and then leave again.

With that being said: The world's most hopeless cop falls for two people who cannot keep a job or avoid being murder suspects. I think they would have fun together. I think their relationship would be utterly incomprehensible to anyone else. I think Maggey and Larry literally cannot go anywhere together without finding a body. Good times.

how to self-soothe

when you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed

engage in soft focus activities. maybe journal a bit, or organize your space. my favorite thing to do is just to write about anything for ten minutes straight. if I run out of things to say about one topic, I switch to another. the point is to never break focus and keep writing until the time is up.

change your clothes. when I'm tired or overwhelmed, sometimes my clothes feel a bit too restricting or uncomfortable. try changing into more baggy or looser clothing.

wrap yourself in comfort layers. blankets, hoodies, fuzzy socks. embrace the winter before it goes away haha :)

acknowledge the feeling. sometimes it's only scary because it's unknown. name the thing you're feeling. for example, "I am feeling anxious," "I am feeling stressed out," or "I am feeling overwhelmed."

change your sensory input. when I'm overwhelmed, a lot of things become much louder than they actually are. my favorite trick is noise-cancelling headphones + soft music.

hug something. pillows, stuffed animals, maybe your pet if you have one.

you are not alone in this feeling. the moment will pass. be gentle with yourself <3

Shaving sucks. Sure it's a necessary evil. If I don't I look like a grizzled lumberjack. When I do I look like myself.

But I do not like having to shave every day. Especially with razors as expensive as they are.

It's ridiculous how much they cost!

Sure there are cheap razors out there. But they suck! They leave my poor face covered in so many cuts.

One consolation is that I get my hairiness from my grandma. It's very comforting to know she went through the same thing I did.

Just needed to get that off my chest.
