Aight just a warning I'm pretty new to Tumblr and I'm DEFINITELY new to making AUs so I'm pretty nervous to post anything here but I figured I'd just rip the band-aid off.

FIRST POST HYPE!! :D

Anyways I love Mario and I love Undertale and I NEEDED TO COMBINE THEM LEGALLY so I decided to make an au about it! Dunno if I'm actually going to do anything serious with this, I mostly just want to imagine cute shenanigans with my favorite characters and whatnot, but who knows? Maybe I'll actually try to give this a proper plot

So here's the basic info:

- Mario and Luigi, in the midst of trying to chase down Bowser, who has just kidnapped the princess again, somehow wind up far away from the Mushroom Kingdom and on Mt. Ebott. Where, of course, they fall into the underground.

- All the monsters are pretty much their canon counterparts (at least, my best interpretation of them 💀)

- Mario ends up discovering he has the power to reset/load/save/etc, but Luigi does not. This is because Mario has the most determination to get out of here and save the princess

- Toriel isn't quite as overprotective of them as she would be if they were a literal child like Frisk, but she is still very motherly towards them because it's just kinda who she is. She would probably be concerned about them potentially attacking the monsters so she might make them promise not to hurt anyone. I still don't think she would want them to leave because Asgore would take their souls

- Honestly mostly this is just an excuse for the Mario Bros and the Skelebros to hang out XD

- the thing that is really interesting is that Mario and Luigi are not 1, but 2 humans, which means only one of their souls would be needed to break the barrier. This ends up becoming a real issue but I could see it being resolved in a few ways.

1. one of the bros self sacrifices so the underground goes free (much to the dismay of the other, and also my heart would break haha)

2. They decide to just stay in the underground instead of going home (but they would be pretty sad about it because oh no their kingdom is still in danger

3. ??? IDK tbh

- Since Mario can load saves, he's just constantly in this angsty cycle of trying to keep his bro from getting killed off ;;

- Not sure if Mario could keep the resets secret for long since Flowey would taunt them about it, but he definitely would be pretty closed off about it, especially to Luigi. He does NOT want Luigi to know about the horrible things he's seen

-ofc cut to Luigi being confused as heck as to why Mario seems to already know what's going to happen.

- they have cute sweaters because I said so

- not sure how omega fight would work, but either way Mario would have to fight to save both of them (probably all by himself :c)

- I want them to eventually do true pacifist but IDK how it would work so I'm not gonna think about it too hard rn

- Mario and Undyne having a friendly rivalry about who's the most heroic

- sans trying to convince them they could just stay in the underground and they're like "no we have to save the tiny mushroom people" and he's like "ur just like my bro fr"

- monster speculation about the purpose of mustaches

- It would be kinda funny if they had the firebrand and thunderhand since... Like... Humans aren't supposed to be able to do magic

- "are you sure you're humans? You're so small"

- *confused Italian noises*

This au is gonna be on the more body horror side and I would love to info dump about it once my brain gives me more ideas to write down but honestly I think his design for the au turned out good, their modeled after a teddy bear and I tried to make the face and eyes similar to one as much as I could for just concept sketches

Anyways lemme know if anyone wants an info dump on the au,

been trying to get as much down as I can for it but obviously having your attention split while brain storming isn’t the best. Probably gonna make an info dump either way just the get the brain juices pumping but how much I share in an actual post is gonna depend on how willing I think people are to hear about it tbh. Um anyways new au idea underways, gonna try and write a story about it but I currently only have a beginning and vague concept of how I want it to end and nothing in between so far so we will see. what is your favorite thing about charles and your favorite thing about erik? separately, as in what you like most about their characters :]

a devious question this one is, my friend!!! it's hard enough for me to explain my thoughts cohesively, but having to pick ONE thing i particularly love is difficult. with characters like charles and erik, theres been so much done with their characters over the decades and so they have so many components to them that make them so interesting and fun to observe. BUT I TRY FOR YOU TODAY. under the cut i kinda ramble and the size of this text box makin me anxious

i think if i were to be simple and broad, what i enjoy most about charles is his determination to help others, even if he isn't really thanked and/or if people don't even like him. ofc, this isn't to say he hasn't done wrong- to be honest, the fact he does wrong/questionable things at times is another aspect of him i really enjoy, maybe because- broadly speaking- he's meant to be altruistic (intent vs outcome and all that). i don't know if that's super exciting to most people, but it is for me

as for erik, my reason for liking him is easier to explain tbh. To Be Simple And Broad, his progression from villain to antihero over the decades has been fun to observe (as much as i have so far anyhow) and analyze. i think to be a bit more specific, him using his rage and pain as justifications for his villainous actions is definitely what compels me the most: hurt people hurt and the sort, an idea i've always found interesting (something something vicious cycles and the like). yet now, he recognizes this wasn't really. A Just Thing To Do and is beginning to change that, which i enjoy

You groan as your body is being shook awake. Opening your eyes a crack, you squint at the light peeking through the curtains.

"Good morning sweetheart... happy birthday."

Allowing your eyes to adjust to the morning light you find Natsuo sitting on the edge of your bed with a bouquet of colourful wildflowers.

"... good morning" you say through a sleepover stricken voice, sitting up in the bed.

"Good morning, are you awake now?"

"Well you just woke me up so I'd think so." You say watching his eyes crinkled on the sides smiling at you as he hands you the bouquet, the sound of the wrapping paper the loudest think in the room.

"Happy birthday." Natsuo hugs you to his chest kissing you on the forehead.

"Thank you baby," you smile against his neck as his cool fingertips touch your warm skin.

You stay like that for a moment longer before Natsuo speaks up.

"How are you feeling today? I'm in the mood to spoil you."

"Its a Monday so I didn't really plan to do much other than chill. We're having dinner with my family tonight so I'm not opposed to spending time with you during the day," you stan up pulling some pants on in the meantime.

"Good, cus we're going out, whatever you want, on me."

In an au where Nova was found by the Renegades before her uncle it'd be kinda interesting if she also vented via musical instruments like she had when Ace took her to (i think was) the cathedral's instruments, but the Renegade council were actually able to get her music lessons if she wanted

Could be something that's like, gradually it becomes less something that she used as an outlet and more something she actually got curious in learning for real. She has the time for it and wouldn't be hiding with the Anarchists + she could throw herself into learning that as a distraction (she'd be in therapy so it would prob be less of a bad coping mechanism than it'd already be)

I could see Hugh and Simon investing in getting her a sound proof room or two where she could play at night, esp since it's quite chilling to hear a grand piano in the dead of night in their old mansion

honestly i dont really talk about caine all too much, i talk about pomni a lot and then ill talk abt ragatha a lot and then i also talk about gangle and kinger and it generally cycles between them (i draw jax a lot but it has to do w him just being fun to draw- i need to talk about zooble MORE bc they were one of the first parts of the show that got me invested)- i love the entire main cast but some of them i talk abt more and i feel like caine is not a common one i discuss. but i really really like his character even if i dont talk about him so much

Immediately starting out with eyes! Not enough of them in the Original sketchdump, gotta make up for it here - you might recognize this little examination of Sans blindness as something that made its way into an actual set :3 A couple actually, if you wanted to include the skelebros' matching PJs from Requestober haha

More Sans eyes! He just has such pretty blues <3 I was testing out the difference between a light blue pen and my usual nonphoto blue pencil - pencil is the winner, as always, truly a colour of all time ♪

Dipping into fandom I normally wouldn't (except for that one other time lol), some HeavyMedic for @zarla-s​! I got a cute first, it was only fair to give a bit of cute back haha ♥ Also got its own full post, speed draw included! :D

Smol introduced me to the Katy Perry Sims 3 collection and it is...atrocious lol. She showed me a bunch of Sims 3 packs actually, but I had a specific bone to pick with this one in particular. Like - I am All for, 1000% For, in total and complete favour of candy and sweets and pastries as a theme, I think it's a delightful well to draw from but this was...not it lol. So I made my own! Loosely based on some of the designs that were just, slapped onto bras. Why?? Bras can be so cute! Or silly! Or both!! Why are they so ugly... You can see I took particular umbrage with the cupcake, mint, and ice cream tops, and you better believe I still have complaints in mind! It's been nearly a year and I'm still mad about these! Lol. I will never understand taking a design and like, Jigglypuff-from-above'ing it, just make it look how it looks in profile! No cherry nipples! Stop this! And why the wide shoulder bands, if any of these deserve thin straps, it's the cupcakes to reflect cherry stems off the top, plssss. For the mints one I was being kind of silly lol, but at least the underboob implies shape! Rather than being subsumed into boob-cylinders, and the wrapper is just, awkwardly out to the sides, not integrated into the flow of the design at all, smh. The ice cream one is the most egregious in my opinion because ice cream is Adorable, and they made it ugly. The cone does not go on top of the ice cream, how dare, get it out of a non-edible bowl right now and make it a waffle bowl this instant. It doesn't even look like ice cream, it looks like whipped cream! Make it recognizable! It could be so cute and this is what you give me??? I just have a lot of thoughts about candy fashion lol, and also it was fun to draw curves :)

I started reading a Mob Psycho fic that unfortunately didn't quite vibe with me, which sucks because I love the conceit! "Oops I adopted this child" is one of my favourites but it just wasn't meant to be, ah well. Did get a couple long-haired Mob doodles in tho :)

While working on Pokeball papercrafts, I wanted to see if I could design a circular Pokemon stats screen to glue onto the back, as if they were "inside" that particular Pokeball, like circular trading cards! I never was able to settle on a design, but the last one isn't terrible... The text would have to be pretty small though. Maybe I'll try again another time, it Is an enticing thought, having a deck of Pokemon cards shaped like Pokeballs

Rick and Morty heckin' got my number on this one, Clone Beth coming around to hang out with the Smiths was exactly the thing to get me drawing these guys again smh doesn't help that she's hot

I have a very sad and horrid headcanon abt merope.

Tommy was not her first child, she had another pregnancy but she lost it cause her body was too small, only 13 and didnt know what was happening. She learned to brew anti conceptive potions after that :(
