#Fsm and overlord brother au

I had this small ninjago au idea that I had for a while now, idk if I'll ever draw it or not, but the au is called Fsm overlord brother au were follow by the name the overlord is the fsm brother. This was based on the scraped idea that ov was the other half of fsm that tommy had, but instead of him being the oni half, why not make it a family problem, because there's alwas family drama in the fsm bloodline..

So the idea goes like this, before Fsm runs away from the first realm, he spots something on the oni side, a baby. He was confused at first but later learned, just like him. This baby was also born in the conflict of the oni & dragon powers,so not wanting the same fate that he was about to experience, he took him. years passed, and the boy grew up bigger than the fsm, sometimes being mistaken as a younger brother to the overlord they had a strong brotherly bond going on mishap, sometimes getting into trouble, promising to never leave eachother side. But as time passed and both got older, they grew more disten, the fsm focuses more on keeping balanced and peace in the realms while the overlord think the only solution to peace it to conquer but the fsm Opposed the idea Believing everyone has the right of there freedom but he just Scoft and walked away. The fsm worried that his oni side is starting to take over but ignoring it anyway. Later that night, the fsm since something was wrong and went to check it out, he soon saw that his brother was Causing mast destruction and chaos, putting people under a curse to obey him the fsm confronted him about it but the overlord pushed him away, believing that he will bring true peace but in darkness. Fsm Realizing that his oni side had fully taken over, he had no choice but to stop him , so a battle ensued. Both never seem tired out each other, but fsm needs to find a way to stop him once and for all, but he needs to think fast because the overlord used his power to create an instructable army he tried to fight them off but he was starting to grow tired, so he had to make the biggest decision, but at that moment the overlord was about to hit his finally on him blow until the fsm stabed him in the chest, both shocked by this, the overlord pulled him self out the Sword to regain what had happened. the fsm took the opportunity to use the power he had left and split the island in two. ov being on the dark island and fsm being on ninjago. Thire was finally peaceful, but they felt an intense guilt for what he had done. many years passed, and the fsm had kids of his own telling Cautionary tales of the overlord, But not mentioning that the overlord is their uncle. Fear on how they would fell or them follow in his path, after his death the fsm was looking for his brother in the departed realm, hoping that he'll change him or that he regret the Actions he had made and come back. But the more he looked, he had a horrific realization that his soul was still in ninjago waiting for his next attack to cover the world in darkness

This is just the rough draft of the brother Au, I'll update it if i ever come back to it, with designs of the overlord human form. Let me know what you think of it and what should I do to improve on it or have any suggestions?

At the end of s2, Garmadon is cured from the venom of the Devourer and freed feom the overlord control, returning his boys to normal. However the clothes he is wearing are not his own according to the flashbacks in which his clothes are different. While this is maybe a retcon or just or creative decision i like to use it as a jump board for an au/hc.

Post ultimate battle, Garmadon was left naked from his transformation. He's bruised and bleeding from the fall and from climbing out of rubble, and Wu gets to his brother first. He throws on an old robe that he himself used to wear to keep his brother from futher shame, hiding his beaten body under the very garments that cursed him to the underworld (Fsm had always said to carry the rides with then and they will know when they need them ig)

That's why in my hc, Garmadon in robes similar to wus in colour post s2. Wu gave them to him when he has nothing else... and once G is all covered up, Lloyd and Misako see where Wu had run off to, and the scene continues.

In their second life The previous ninja elemental master was close to Kai, they know what Kai is and he would always tell them about his family but never told them their names.

Hey I have a question for the fsm lives au. How did fsm handle garmadon getting bit in this au. Was it the same as cannon or different due to the oni/dragon instinct. Also will there be more fsm family bonding cause there is a severe lack of knowledge of how fsm was with his boys let alone his grandson

Alright first of all I'm taking the opportunity to slightly retcon(?) how the venom works. Essentially it's both corrupting Garmadon's thought process as well as allowing the Overlord to slowly possess Garmadon over thousands of years. He did still need Garmadon to get to the Dark Island to fully possess him but that's what the venoms doing. It's not so much as making him evil but opening him up to evil.

In this au (and my belief system in general) the Overlord isn't a spirit of darkness but a spirit of imbalance caused by the imbalance that happened due to a primordial being getting put to sleep indefinitely (Wojira) and the creation of Ninjago happening so close together.

I also got sidetracked a bit rewriting the lore surrounding the venom and Garmadon and the Overlord. Whoops.

So, on the day Garmadon gets bitten, FSM wakes up sensing something is off. She gets very anxious and forbids her children from leaving the Monastery walls. Wu and Garmadon, used to FSM's bouts of paranoia, abid by this, but try to stay out of her way as she paces around the Monastery. This leads to them playing in the courtyard. The thing is, FSM actually has these bouts of paranoia due to trauma that aren't based on her subconciously sensing something is wrong with her powers.

Wu throws the katana over the wall and Garmadon tries to convince him to get it, using past experiences to determine that there isn't actually a threat and not wanting to disturb his father. Of course Wu, who doesn't want to be caught disobeying his father when they're like this, says no, leading Garmadon to go and get it himself. The Devourer, an entity created by the Overlord, bites Garmadon and he faints.

The biting causes a metaphysical shockwave across the Sixteen Realms - it is, after all, the collision of balance and imbalance - that both Wu and FSM feel. FSM rushes out and takes Garmadon inside, who remains in a coma for several days.

During this coma, FSM works out pretty quickly that it was the Overlord who caused it, and that he will use the venom to slowly overtake Garmadon until there is nothing left but a shell with the physical strength to hold the Overlord's full power. FSM uses the time Garmadon's asleep to weave wards into Garmadon's soul so that the Overlord cannot touch it and destroy it, which is the sole reason Garmadon was able to be cured in the first place.

He also works out that the venom is designed to latch onto Garmadon's mind and body, meaning that removing it at such a young age would permanently disable him mentally and physically.

FSM also has a couple of panic attacks during this time and destroys a couple of forests and a mountain. Wu ends up being looked after by Mystake (in the Monastery, FSM wouldn't let him leave) after being told that his brother is sick due to being bitten but isn't told more than that yet.

Anyway, so once Garmadon wakes up, all he and Wu are told is that the Overlord was trying to corrupt Garmadon through the venom. They are still small children, which is why FSM doesn't tell them more (they do find out in their lates teens what actually is going on). Their age also meant that any story told about the Overlord was sanatised so it wasn't nightmare inducing, so all they knew was Overlord = evil spirit, which is why Wu and Garmadon are always like 'the venom is turning Garmadon evil'.

When he was still a child/young teen FSM became really skilled at telling when it was the venom that made Garmadon do bad things, and when Garmadon was just being an arse, and could therefore discipline him appropriately. As Garmadon got older however, and the venom became more interwined with his mind, it got a lot harder to distinguish between the two. FSM still tried her best to try to discipline Garmadon but it's hard when your child physically cannot tell the difference between right or wrong actions.

FSM is a slightly smarter parent in this au so he did always try to listen and to help Garmadon work through figuring out which thoughts were the venom and which weren't, and this did help. He tried his best to give Garmadon and Wu a normal childhood (though later he did have to start restricting stuff for others safety).

Unfortunately, his son is still getting slowly overtaken by his archnemesis - someone who deeply traumatised him, so there are still times when they didn't handle Garmadon's condition well, but it was mostly not that bad.

But you are absolutely right in that the oni/dragon instincts kicked in majorly because of this. Garmadon and Wu did not leave the house unsupervised for several years after the bite. And also I want to point out as a half-demon, half dragon-god FSM has a very shakey understanding of mortal morals, meaning that Garmadon (and Wu) could get away with a lot of stuff, venom induced or otherwise.

Death of destiny au Garmafam.

Misako, Garmadon, Skylor, Lloyd, and Unagami.

And a bit more info about the au!

So, the whole things actually starts right after the FSM imprisoned the Overlord on the Dark Island. He's realized that the two of them are equally matched, and even though FSM has managed to stop the Overlord for now, he would never be able to permanently stop him.

FSM travels to Cloud Kingdom, gifting the inhabitants the magic destiny-altering scrolls and quills and ink, and tasking them with finding a way to permanently end the Overlord.

From there, the Green Ninja Prophecy is written, and the scribes of Cloud Kingdom spend the next few millennia rewriting the lives of the citizens of Ninjago to try and fulfill the Prophecy.

Things go as cannon until Garmadon gets banished. Misako, instead of trying to just research the Prophecy and find a way to get around it, decides that the best way to save both Garm and Lloyd from the Prophecy is to take Lloyd and raise him to be evil with Garmadon.

The lead scribe (Fenwick? Was that that fuckers name?) doesn't think anything of this, writing off her efforts as too futile to even be a threat to their plan (cannon. The plan is everything that happens in cannon).

After all, what can a single mortal woman do against the power of Destiny?

A whole fuckin lot, actually.

Misako studies dark magic, takes control of the Stone Army, and breaks Garmadon out of the Underworld while Lloyd is still young, no older than a toddler.

The couple then turn their attention to conquering Ninjago, and raising Lloyd together.

Lloyd being raised by a demon warlord and a dark sorceress who absolutely adore him leads him to genuinely wanting to be just like them, and the Green Ninja proudly proclaiming that he wants to be evil, and actually meaning it, breaks the Prophecy.

And all the scrolls in Cloud Kingdom, freeing everyone in Ninjago from the grips of destiny.

Which leads to many characters forging different paths for themselves, like Skylor. She escaped from Chen's island when Clouse finally has enough and stages a mutiny, and gets caught trying to steal supplies from a camp of Garmadon soldiers. Garmisako realize that she's the Elemental Master of Amber (which is a Wild Element in my sort of expanded Ninjago lore), and decide to take her in.

They raise her like she's their own, and after some time passes Skylor comes to view them fully as her parents, and Lloyd as her little brother. As a teen, she is a brutal second-in-command to her parents.

Confession time, I still haven't fully seen S12 yet, but I know enough about Unagami to throw him in there too. He's found by or reaches out to the Garmadons, starts working with them, and quickly becomes friends with Lloyd.

The little drone thing is one of many that Unagami uses to interact with the physical world, haven't decided if/when he can start trapping people in the digital world, or what that would be used for.

Lloyd is a chaotic gremlin of the highest degree, fights with a mech, and also has a stinger hidden in that tuft on the end of his tail.

They're all Disney villains, and having an absolute blast menacing the entire continent of Ninjago together.

Because I failed to go to sleep: Creepy AU

The Overlord and The FSM never actually die. There is no afterlife for them, but what does happen is they reside in someone.

Not just a 'oh, you're destined to be evil/good' way, no. They pick someone to watch through their eyes and see how the world is. Yeah, they have a bit of control over the person's thoughts (barely), but they can only really talk with them.

I don't know why Kai's landing as my target, probably being flare wouldn't bother people with anything happening in flares mind, so no one would know. After the Overlord gets defeated, it chooses to reside in Kai's body to watch the world, trying and failing greatly in convincing Kai to fall for trap after trap.

Then, post-season 10, the FSM decides to join in on someone close to Lloyd, and while having a choice, Kai seemed the best fit for them- Oh.. Well, this is awkward.

A lot of fighting and witty comments, and Kai had enough of it, settling in the mirror on day and getting flares point across straight of rules and regulations the Overlord and the FSM have to follow if they want to stick around in flares body. With so much fire behind it, both listened and really only came to talk or took control when deemed necessary.

They reside for so long, that it becomes a fuax system, only with literal entities rather than seperate headmates. And one day, it becomes Very Clear to the rest of the team not to fuck with Kai's little brother, the FSM's grandson, OR the Overlord's current enemy.

Because then you get three Very Mad beings in one body that has access to fire and not a single ounce of self preservation.

Anyways, Kai develops old man habits from the FSM (tea drinking, meditation, waking up at 4:45 AM-) and mischievous things from the Overlord (dedication to beating Cole at video games, randomly bumping into the other team members, staying up until 1:20 AM-)

Well this is my design for the first book of my story/Au

(Rise of Snakes and Night Princess)

Well here are some things about My Au:

OKAY OKAY, In fact I had a lot of ideas for Au's ‼️

But I decided to make them all in one story

Like: Season 11 and 4 are happening at the same time

Because at the end of Season 3, Zane, Overlord, Cryptor, and Min will not die, but somehow they will go to Never-realm, and Zane will lose his memory, and Overlord will take advantage of an opportunity and make Zane evil, Also Zane's father will be alive so he will go with Ninja and Garmadon to Nevar-Realm and they will find a way to make Zane good again, Also at the end of Season 4, Garmadon will still be alive, but in exchange, someone else will sacrifice himself...

And Akita goes to Ninjago and becomes a ninja

Also, Morro will not die at the end of season 5, and he will find a way to become human again, and DOTD will be much better, and in it, villains like the original will return, but also other people will return, like elemental masters and more to the series...

There will also be cooperation between MLP and Ninjago for my story

Also in Season 7, when Garmadon, Kai and Nya, as well as Lloyd and Twilight, confront the Time Brothers. Kai and Nya will return to save Ray, and Garmadon and the Time Brothers will be lost in time

Ninjago if the Overlord didn’t exist

My favorite pastime is overthinking random ninjago lore, so here we go to remove one character and watch the entire series fall apart!!

If the Overlord doesn’t exist then neither does the Great Devourer, thus Garmadon isn’t evil

This means Wu has no need to hide the Golden Weapons pre-series or to assemble the og ninja considering no one’s trying to steal them

Also if Garmadon wasn’t evil then he wouldn’t have gone to Chen, intercepted Wu’s love letter, and eventually married Misako, so Lloyd doesn’t exist

Season two as a whole doesn’t happen

Neither does season three

Chen still exists tho. Presumably the serpentine wars would still occur as they did more or less as they did in canon

However, since the ninja have had no reason to be brought together, they meet for the first time during the tournament of elements (assuming they all unlock their true potentials on their own at some point prior to this)

Chen’s plan doesn’t work because Lloyd didn’t exist to free the serpentine, so no Pythor to make the spell permenant

Since Garmadon didn’t go off to study under Chen, either Wu never took Morro in, or Morro was trained by both brothers. Either way, I imagine his story to have a softer end in this au

Regardless, Lloyd doesn’t exist so there’s not a green ninja (and probably not even a ninja team at all at this point), and even if Morro did die vengeful, he wouldn’t be out and about considering Chen’s army failed on their own and Garmadon didn’t have to open the portal to the Cursed Realm

Someone could still have found Nadakhan’s teapot and freed him, but he would’ve just got his crew back and then gone back to Djinnjago, minding his own business and moving on with his life considering s5 didn’t happen and Nya didn’t kill the Preeminent and Djinnjago didn’t fall as a consequence

Season seven still happens tho!! In the sense that the time twins are here and causing problems on purpose, at least. We still don’t have a ninja team tho. I propose that Wu still loses that fight against Acronix and the disturbances in time cause concern across ninjago, leading the elemental alliance (that still formed in s4 (with Nya instead of Lloyd) to come together to figure shit out. The plot still mostly happens but since none of them know Wu, no one finds him and he just kinda dies (or Garmadon comes to rescue him and then joins the elemental master sin order to get the time blade to save his brother). Uhhhhh stuff plays out mostly the same except Garmadon gets lost to the time stream instead of Wu maybe

None of the elemental masters really know or care about Garmadon so they say some nice words about his sacrifice and move on with their lives

Seasons eight and nine don’t happen for an abundance of reason (removal of Harumi’s origin story, Garmadon ever being evil, and the Great Devourer ever existing in the first place)

The Oni still cause problems on purpose tho, but without any active FSM family members, the gang just kinda suffers. Maybe the og4 learned about the tornado of creation at some point, maybe Wu’s around to tell them about it now, whatever, we’re gonna assume they figured something out and the world didn’t end

Ok, so the ninja team consists of Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole, Zane, and a revolving door of other elemental masters that pull up from time to time (I like to think Skylor and Karlof are permanent members, but that’s just me). The squad is minding their own business

Because they haven’t been a proper team that long, they don’t have the same burn out they do in canon, and thus never release Aspheera out of sheer boredom, thus season eleven doesn’t happen

Prime Empire my beloved, she remains almost entirely intact unless I’m just missing something

Season thirteen also still happens

The Island doesn’t because neither Wu nor Misako are characters that have much presence in this au

Seabound still happens I think

Crystallized does not (refer to title of this post)

DR still happens -ish (since Lloyd never existed, the details are a bit iffy, but all the major conflicts still occur besides that)

Introducing my Murder Drones x Ninjago AU!!!

Lore: So basically Misako replaces Tessa in this story, and she’s the one who has the rich girl mommy daddy issues and is the one who takes in the Disassembly Drones. They follow her into her adulthood, where she meets Wu and Garmadon. At first, Garmadon didn’t really mind the drones being there, but there was this small flame of jealousy that burned within him and the venom took advantage of that. He grew to hate the drones, but he was able to merely tolerate their presence for Misako’s sake. But then the serpentine war happened, and Chen planted some bombs near Jamakai Village. The Elemental Alliance builds a getaway plane but Garmadon “accidentally” leaves the Drones behind. When Misako finds this out, she stays behind to save them but dies from the explosion. The drones barely survive and have a bunch of explosion scars. Garmadon is devastated with the loss of his wife but that grief turned to rage. He gave the drones a piece of his mind, telling them it was their fault that Misako died. Eventually, all the drones went their separate ways.

Pre-Season 1: Lloyd grew up in the monastery for 4 years until one day, he was playing in the garden when he fell off a cliff. N was camping in the gorge when he found the poor baby. It was miracle from FSM himself that he managed to revive Lloyd. He would’ve taken him back to the monastery, but it’s been years since Misako’s death and he didn’t remember where the monastery was. So N takes him to Darkley’s instead and watches over him like a big brother. Eventually, N reunited with V and J, but not Cyn. J was the same old rude drone as before but V was different…she used to be clumsy and shy but now she acted more like J. They decide to raise Lloyd together in Darkley’s until he’s kicked out.

Season 1: After his encounter with the main ninja, Lloyd is infuriated that he was mocked and planned to free the serpentine. He found the scroll but couldn’t find the tombs, so he tasked N with keeping watch of the scroll until he could figure out the location of the serpentine tombs. Enter Uzi, well- her name is D.O.E (Daughter of Evil) in this AU. She is tasked by her father, the Overlord, to free the serpentine in order to free the Great Devourer. D.O.E manages to track down the location of Lloyd’s treehouse and she tries taking the scroll but N is persistent. Then she seduces N, which overwhelms his innocent Drone brain. She ties him up to the bed and knocks him out, escaping with the scroll. The next day, Lloyd is upset at N for like a day so V became his right hand man for that day (much to both his and N’s dismay).

And we’re gonna stop right there because my arms are getting tired typing this 😭

Okay, so I read your au idea with the role swap thingy and for some reason I got reminded very suddenly of a fanfic I read from like 2016 where the main four where supposedly going to be Shade, Griffin, Neuro and Karlof (although this was back when it was just Shadow). And I don’t know, that just unlocked a memory of it.

Anyway, about your au. Will you tell me about it? Please?

(BTW there will be no rhyme or reason to what I say. Ya gurl is gonna ramble.)

So in this AU, Chen is the only son of the FSM. The FSM created Ninjago using the powers of Creation and Destruction, which Chen now is a master of, is teaching to his two young pupils, Clouse and Garmadon. The plot at this point is kinda the same: Clouse attempts to steal the Golden Weapons (which are different in this AU) and gets banished to the Underworld, yadda, yadda, yadda. Garmadon eventually succumbs to the pressure of being the pupil of the literal son of God, and guilt over leaving behind his younger brother Wu to study at the monastery on Chen's private island. Wu has been left in the care of Ray and Maya, whom Garmadon works part-time for as an apprentice. Eventually, Garmadon runs away after he and Chen get into a really heated fight revolving around Clouse's disappearance and the pressure Chen has since put on Garmadon to succeed to make up for failing Clouse. He and Wu become close with Ray and Maya and raise their twin children Kai and Nya after their deaths.

Chen eventually gets married to Skylor's mother, the Master of Water, (I've named her Lorena) and they eventually have Skylor. Lorena passes away after complications giving birth to their son and Chen ends up in a dark place for a bit but pulls himself together to raise Skylor. Chen is surprisingly human in this AU? He grapples a lot with the concept of perfection and trying to find his footing as a teacher but his past seriously haunts him. He's already failed two students and almost his daughter, but for the the sake of Ninjago and making his father proud, he's going to try again. He's not a perfect person, and his flaws are beyond obvious, but he does his best.

Skylor is a mixture of Misako and Nya's roles. There is no Samurai X because Skylor is treated as an equal from the start (and sexism as a plotline is so mid-2000s) but she's also a total history buff and becomes the exposition fountain Misako kinda was. The only thing is that she doesn't have a corresponding Golden Weapon and but Water in the show is pretty OP anyways so she's got that going for her.

Karlof is probably the closest to his show counterpart, probably because he has the least angstiest backstory. He's a mechanical engineer and the son of the Master of Earth who wields the Gauntlets of Earth as his weapon. He's basically the dad friend and everyone's big brother.

Griffin is the grandson of the Master of Lightning and wields the Whip of Lightning. He's annoyingly flirty and a track star prodigy who starts out pretty cocky but things go south for him when a Serpentine encounter gives him horrid acid scars surrounding his lips and chin, which he covers up with a mask. He's the kind of guy who hides his fears behind a swaggy coolkid persona.

Neuro is the son of the Master of Ice, Mahiro, who eventually becomes important later on. He wields the Spear of Ice. Eventually, the defeat of the Overlord ala Zane leaves him missing his left eye and arm, which are eventually replaced with robot prosthetics. He's an ice cold motherfucker who gradually warms up and takes pride in his natural intellect.

Shade is the son of the Master of Fire, but also the son of Mahiro making him Neuro's half-brother (it's complicated) and wields the Crossbow of Fire. He's a scrappy and aggressive street kid and gets treated like such by everyone.

Morro isn't related to the FSM at all. He's an orphan who obviously must've descended from an Elemental Master somewhere, but nobody knows his roots. His role as the fabled Green Ninja is to be the Elemental Master of Life and the prophesized saviour of Ninjago who will eventually destroy the Overlord in Ninjago's greatest time of need. He's much more power-hungry than Lloyd is and absolutely revels in his role as this all-important hero, but gets a reality check very quickly when he realizes that this isn't a game and lives are actually at stake. Besides that, he's the baby of the family and Neuro and Shade have kinda adopted him as their younger brother (the greycale siblings).

That's the main party for now, eventually Clouse joins after he's freed from being the Overlord's vessel and Mahiro also shows up once they find him. These are just brief overviews of each character and I have a lot of details about them and other characters as well if anybody is interested!

OKAY OKAY, In fact I had a lot of ideas for Au's ‼️

But I decided to make them all in one story

Like: Season 11 and 4 are happening at the same time

Because at the end of Season 3, Zane, Overlord, Cryptor, and Min will not die, but somehow they will go to Never-realm, and Zane will lose his memory, and Overlord will take advantage of an opportunity and make Zane evil, Also Zane's father will be alive so he will go with Ninja and Garmadon to Nevar-Realm and they will find a way to make Zane good again, Also at the end of Season 4, Garmadon will still be alive, but in exchange, someone else will sacrifice himself...

And Akita goes to Ninjago and becomes a ninja

Also, Morro will not die at the end of season 5, and he will find a way to become human again, and DOTD will be much better, and in it, villains like the original will return, but also other people will return, like elemental masters and more to the series...

There will also be cooperation between MLP and Ninjago for my story

Also in Season 7, when Garmadon, Kai and Nya, as well as Lloyd and Twilight, confront the Time Brothers. Kai and Nya will return to save Ray, and Garmadon and the Time Brothers will be lost in time

But Lloyd and Twilight will go to a distant past, specifically to the time of FSM and the original Elemental Masters, and of course a lot will happen because of this...

Of course, I have more ideas for the series and I will tell you about them later...

Here is some overlord art. It has been a while since I drew the big guy. Also, I'm working on an au that involves him and the fsm. A what-if type story called Brothers au were by the name, fsm, and the overlord were Brothers back then before the battle between them happened if you interested in this au here's the draft of it!

welcome to the latest Au idea that is mainly spinjitzu brothers-centric.

So you know Lloyd? Well forget him because he doesn't exist.

Now, listen well. Wu and Garmadon are still the sons of FSM but don't know it. They have spent their whole reality doing the same thing over and over again. Going on adventures and then dying of stuff. No memories of their previous lives.

In each and every life. Garmadon has had the venom but it had never activated, he isn't the dark lord yet or at all.

So I'm not sure how the ninja would come to be, most likely trained by their parents or gaurdians or another dude to replace Wu I'll tell you why later so yeah, this is so I can still have familiar character to work with and a somewhat familiar timeline.

wu and Garmadon were doing stuff and whatever before meeting the ninja in a fight and they helped because they still have vague memories of how to do spinjitzu of which in this au the ninja can not but they have heard of it before.

They take the boys under their wing but soon found out that Wu was the green ninja, a prophecy said to defeat the Overlord/ Embodiment (his other name don't ask)

The ninja then tend to lean all their focus on training wu making Garmadon feel forgotten or abandoned making vulnerable to deceit (Lloyd era lol)

Weeks later the ninja have a run down with Pythor, the helper and right hand man to the Overlord's plans, something happens to make Wu from 10 to 16. That's episode would have been the 5th encounter with pythor and the plans of evil.

They increase Wu's training and neglect little garm (whos still 12 or so) even more. He runs off in a sad huff and meet Pythor and a weak version of the Overlord, they promise to get his brother back but only if he helps them.

Flash forward in time cuz thats all I can think about we have Wu about face of with Garmadon and guess what? Big brothers is back, older and Oni.

Hes now much older and pissed, he attacks the ninja but spares wu and they go on a monologue about how the ninja will throw Wu away when their done and how either way ,whether they work with the ninja or work with the overlords, they will always work for bad people.

The ninja realise their mistake and wu is gone, he probably having a mental breakdown and regretting everything while Garmadon is certain he doing what's best for him and Wu.

Quite a basic idea but it's actually really fun to think about :)

Hello!

I was wondering about something regarding your Phoenix Kai Au.Why did the fire elemental dragon thingy choose Kai specifically? And why did it pass on its powers in the first place? Was it dying due to injuries and just wanted for the power to live on inside someone else? And was Kai the one to recieve them bc he was the last one standing among his family? Rn I'm sort of assuming that for plot reasons Kai's brothers and sisters died in battle before him and before the monster got to him, he got the powers, bc he was the closest living person who could recieve them.

Unless, the dragon had other reasoning, like it just liked him or sth. Of course, I'll undersand if it's not that deep and Kai got the powers just bc you, as the athor of the Au, wanted him to lol. I was curious if there was an in-univerese reason tho.

phoenix did not have the power of immortality or never death. They have the ability to rise from the ashes. The moment they were resurrected, they would only become kid almost all of their powers will reset [but their memories remain] although it will take a few years to fully recover but they were at war with the Overlords and needed as much power as they could That made them want to give their power to Kai

Oh, right. The reason that elemental dragon in Ninjago because they were close to FSM, always visiting him between worlds and when Overlord happens They want to help as much as they can

the reason why they chose Kai was because

1. They liked Kai's family so much [especially Lloyd] so they often disguised themselves as little animals to visit them

2. They feel the compatibility between Kai and fire elemental If all this didn't happen Perhaps Kai was chosen to be the First Elemental Master of Fire :3

Fsm lives au, how do they feel about misako?

Ahhh tysm for asking!!!

I have my own opinions about Misako so it was quite interesting to try and work out what FSM's opinions without letting my opinions affect their’s. I think I did okay. Either way it was quite a fun and interesting exercise.

They don't like her, they don't hate her, they tolerate her.

When FSM first met Misako, it was a few weeks after Lloyd was born. Before FSM arrived, Misako hadn't been told much about his family. This was evident when she fainted after he told her who he was. So when Misako started asking a bunch questions about his history, culture, and all that, she assumed it was out of curiosity (a trait that humans had inherited from her) and was trying to find out more about Lloyd's heritage, and so she tolerated the questions.

All in all, they didn't mind that she was part of Garmadon's family now. And besides, Misako had given FSM a perfect baby grandson to cuddle and cherish, so they couldn't complain much.

It wasn't until Misako dropped Lloyd of at Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Children that FSM began to dislike her - a lot.

Now the thing is, Oni are incredibly possessive of their pups and grandpups, and abandoning a pup like this would not have been tolerated in the First Realm. Even dragons, who tend to allow their hatchlings to wander a lot more, wouldn't have allowed this. So FSM's first instinct was to kill her for this crime and take Lloyd to Wu. Fortunately for Misako, this entire AU revolves around FSM not being able to interfere with the prophecy, so they couldn't do that (and Garmadon and Wu would be sad if Misako turned up dead before her time).

FSM also has the advantage of omniscience (and as a result, can be slightly more impartial than other dragons and oni when it comes to decisions like this), so when she couldn't exact revenge on Misako, she decided to take a walk in her mind to figure out her motives.

Misako, as it turns out, had some pretty valid reasons. She was trying to prevent the final battle by influencing Lloyd to become at least a bit evil, all while she researched as much as she could. This meant that FSM didn’t hate her as she was trying to do what she thought was best for her family.

Unfortunately, when it comes to the prophecy, FSM, who wrote it, knows are bit more than Misako, and knew that a) not everything in it was set in stone, but rather the prophecy was a set of instructions on how to cure Garmadon of the venom in a fight that was inevitable. And that b) Lloyd would not be fighting his father, but the Overlord using Garmadon as a vessel. So while FSM understands Misako's motives for doing what she did, doesn't mean they thought it was a reasonable excuse for abandoning Lloyd at Darkley's.

But Lloyd seems to like his mother, even if she's not around as much as FSM thinks she should be, even if FSM doesn't think Lloyd should have forgiven her quite as easily, and even if she was a little too invested in figuring out how Lloyd’s half human - half dragoni status affected him.

And Wu and Garmadon liked her as well, even if Garmadon had since broken up with her, and even if Wu had originally thought she wasn’t good enough for his brother.

So FSM will tolerate Misako.

Also side note, I abide by the headcanon that Wu actually didn't like (romantically that is) Misako, and the letter was him trying to get her away from Garmadon. I really don't like love triangles.

Ok, so first off I LOVE THIS!!!!

Secondly I’m going to talk a little about my au thing I was messing around with (pretty much spoiler free for the part you were up too).

So in my thing the honkai is a consequence for the fsm invading another world (since technically ninjago’s realm existed before the fsm came and created the landmass of ninjago).

It’s kinda like the realm trying to kick out and invasive species. Everything that the fsm created is considered invasive to the realm so the honkai is trying to purify the realm (not that anyone realizes this tho).

The herrschers are beings created by the honkai to control lower level honkai creatures. They can ether be created by the honkai directly (ex: the overlord) or be a creation of the fsm that has developed a hatred for the fsm’s creations.

The first herrscher was the overlord. He was created out of pure honkai energy and the fsm panicked and was barely able to seal him away.

The honkai in response to this decided to corrupt a creation of the fsm to see if he would be reluctant to deastroy it. So the second herrscher was made, the great devourer. The great devourer was one of the first creations of the fsm and used to keep him company as a pet. When the fsm  realized that the honkai had corrupted his beloved pet he didn’t have the resolve to destroy her. So he imprisoned her in a cage underneath his monestary (a decision he would come to regret).

So we have two known herrschers so far

Number 1, the herrscher of darkness, the overlord.

And number 2 the herrscher of consumption (might change the title in the future I do not like how it sounds), the great devourer.

The fsm catches what’s going on and decides that he needs some way to effectively fight against the honkai. So he decides to use the honkai against the honkai. He takes normal people and infuses a mixture of honkai energy and his golden energy to make elemental masters. And then he teaches them how to fight against the lower grunts of the honkai ( like honkai beasts and zombies) and keeps peace in ninjago for a good while.

He has two children, wu and garmadon, and the devourer escapes and bites Garmadon infecting him with honkai. This doesn’t turn him into a hurrscher yet. Just makes him more volatile and angry. And eventually the fear of being evil because of the honkai and other events that I’m still figuring out that involve Lloyd and Misako he becomes a hurrscher. But he’s not the the third.

The third hurrscher is a girl named  hikari. She lives in a small village with her mother. One day a man comes into town, he promises better medicine and better living if they listen to him. They will get big houses and luxury foods and anything they could ever want. On one condition, they give there children to him. Hikari’s mother jumps at the opportunity, she’s lived in poverty her entire life, this is her way out. Hikari and the other children that were given up are taken by the man who introduces him self as clouse. He brings them to his master, Chen who begins honkai experiments on the children. Chen wants to become a hurrscher, at any cost. Hikari becomes angry at the world at her mother at clouse and Chen. And the honkai answers her anger by turning her into a hurrscher that can corrupt. She uses her new powers to escape chen and goes to the serpentine, who have a very shaky peace with the humans. She causes chaos and makes it look like the elemental alliance ( the Schicksal equivalent at this point) and starts the serpentine wars. Wu and garm eventually realize that it’s her causing this and try to stop her. Garm pitties her because he sees himself in her. He tries to reson with her and almost gets through but wu panics believing that hikari is going to hurt garm (wu just lost his dad he can’t loose his brother too) and orders all the elementals to attack her at once. And it kills her. Garmadon comforts her in her last moments, leading to the last thought in her mind being that she wishes she could have lived the life that garmadon was offering her (he basically said you can live with me and we can help you control your powers) and then she dies. Garm is mad at wu for a long time and this eventually becomes one of the reasons that garm goes herrscher.

So the third hurrscher is, the hurrscher of corruption, hikari.

So back to the elamental alliance, ray and maya leave after the serpentine wars (krux and acronix still go rogue but are apprehended and are frozen in time for there crimes), they settle down and start a family, the way elemental powers work in this au is that while the powers aren’t passed down, the adaptability to hold those powers are. So for example any random person can become an em it’s just that kinda of former ems have higher potential to become the em. So Kai and nya are born but krux escapes from his prison and kills maya (sorry maya but moms in honkai are not lucky people). Ray goes into hiding with nya and Kai but while trying to move Kai gets kidnapped by Chen. He’s been upset since his little experiment escaped and he got yeeted to an abandoned island as punishment. So he takes dna from hikari and from Kai and combines it to make a clone so he can have a hurrscher to control.

Ray goes to wu for help and both of them stage a rescue mission to get Kai back. But something goes wrong and Kai dies and they take the clone with them (Kai is the kiana of this au because he’s my favorite thus he has to suffer)

And that’s all I have for now. I kinda got sucked into other stuff and forgot about this but i really like your version too! And tbh it doesn’t really matter if nobody pays attention to the au if it makes you happy to write about it!

It’s mostly just a silly fun idea rn with barely coherent concepts tumbling around my mind, sadly I don’t think anything will come out of it bc I don’t think there’s much demand for it :( the curse of having a special interest and a hyperfixation that are worlds apart.

so obviously the origin story for ninjago would need to be altered a bit, like instead of the overlord it was some sort of herrscher-esque (though much more powerful) conscience that awoke and with it started the endless honkai as this AUs form of the balance yk yk.

Anyways just like in the game the honkai are a constant force that evolve and change, but instead of the silly abstract monsters and zombies we see in the honkai universe they take on other forms like stone warriors, nindroids (via corrupting the code or whatever) yada yada (maybe the serpentine?? Toying with the idea that a sentient species was born as a result of the honkai or even honkai infections in humans) with the battle between the FSM and the overlord and the first serpentine war being major honkai eruption events that resulted in the birth of the herrschers and their successors one by one, i e, the elemental masters.

I don’t really know how the fsm would work in this universe, maybe as like a fruit of like an equivalent to the imaginary tree or whatever and used his creation powers to craft the land and humanity was then born, but upon doing so the overlord (I feel like they’d have a different name since it’d be more of a sentient entity, maybe the overlord themself was like also a fruit of the imaginary tree?? And essentially the first herrscher??) also came into being and with it the honkai were born and spread across the island. The fsm saw this disaster and he gathered some people he saw potential in, gifting them temporary powers either in the form of artifacts or whatever to help him fight back the honkai spread. In this universe they were actually successful in killing the overlord (for good. Kind of.) and the honkai vanished

…until only a few years later when a massive energy spike disrupted the entire world, and one of his generals (I e one of the first elemental masters) became the first, well, originally human herrscher. The honkai came back in full force and more herrschers were born from both strangers and allies alike until the entirety of the dark island side of ninjago was compromised and the fsm made the decision to seal the herrschers and break apart the island to prevent the spread, essentially abandoning that part of the population (were there survivors? Is there still civilization on the dark island that managed to beat back the honkai and start villages and communities that are bitter and consider the currently sealed herrschers their chance at vengeance? Who knows!) and trying to forget.

fast forward to the serpentine war. The serpentine being either another group of people like usual or having smthn to do with the honkai, I dunno. I think the honkai approach is more interesting personally and like exploring a sentient and fully intelligent honkai being but I’m not sure. The serpentine and humans are afraid and tense and Chen pulls strings (Chen might be like a sort of herrscher Stan but for his own ambitions in this AU instead of anacondrai stan) and it erupts into a war. Wu had been preparing since in this AU Morro would become a herrscher host after the whole golden weapons fiasco and he, knowing the last time this happened was aware that it could signal an oncoming of honkai formed the elemental alliance as a countermeasure (with the elemental alliance essentially being Valkyrie equivalents given special powers, weapons, artifacts etc. to help the fight against the honkai) (also not fully related but this is honkai x ninjago so yeah wu kills Morro so now Morro is justified) though unlike with the FSM this alliance would be much less strained and more friendly, with many familial bonds being developed while they fought side by side. At first they just dealt with the occasional stray honkai and politics and such, until Chen initiated the war. At some point Earth (no clue what the master of earths name would be here - it’s worth noting that in this AU none of the EMs are inherently related since herrschers jump between hosts and don’t need blood relations to do so, though some might be for plot purposes) begins to feel sympathetic for the serpentine, jumpstarted by Chens influence, and defects to fight on their side of the war, at some point being awakened as a herrscher or causing a herrscher awakening (why not both? The EA (omg that’s actually the abbreviation for elemental alliance that’s hilarious) being forced to watch as one of their own becomes a herrscher as a result of betrayal (maybe they were super close to earth..) and getting caught in the middle of a massive honkai event that decimates the environment. No longer is it about the war, the humans and anacondrai are both trying to flee and save as many of their own as they can now that the herrschers are going ballistic at each other, having completely forgotten anything else around them… mmm… delicious angst)

Earth is eventually killed (The new host is chosen surprisingly quickly as a little girl… cough cough Lilly cough cough) and the serpentine are sealed (maybe alongside other ems? I dunno, the war is messy and I don’t feel like fleshing it out too much) using the same techniques the fsm used to seal the herrschers on the dark island and all is well until suddenly the time twins cause a massive honkai event and become herrschers - intentionally - and the ea manage to like I dunno subdue them boring answer or snap them out of it but realize they chose this route yada yada angst betrayal sadness trust issues blah blah blah after a long fight since they lost most of their numbers (I only highlighted earth and an anonymous em but there were probably casualties, not all ems will be herrschers simply because that’d be too many herrschers and it’d get stale) yeah it ends in the time vortex but Krux breaks free of it using herrscher powers or whatever Acronix was in a coma or smthn so that’s why he didn’t do the same and then Krux begins his evil master plan of conquering the world using an army of controlled honkai and his own herrscher powers (somehow Krux is able to control himself as a herrscher I dunno I told u this is ideas jumble)

yeah uh anyways Wu is like “finally it’s over” then Lilly in a far off city hears him and throws a temper tantrum to which he goes “OH MY GOD WHAT THE HECK NOT ANOTHER HERRSCHER” and he gets there and it’s just a child causing mildly threatening honkai quakes. Thought she might have caused her parents to abandon her. She’s not doing any massive damage right now and Wu knows that some people would argue it would probably be better for the world in the future to.. coughs.. LOOK GUYS THIS IS A HONKAI X NINJAGO AU I HAVE TO SAY IT it would be better to just to get rid of her now so that they don’t have to deal with another major honkai event in the future (plus she’s an orphan) …but Wu doesn’t have the heart to do that again after everything he lost to the war and with Morro and he can’t bring himself to ever be able to justify that action while looking at this abandoned child who just so happened to be a herrscher so Wu does what Wu does and that’s take her in and bring her to the monastery. (god Wu’s becoming the Fu Hua of this AU isn’t he… I mean he’d be a less cold fu hua but still)

Lilly is a unique case in that she’s been a herrscher since she was a child and Wu is likely trying to tutor her in either restraining or controlling it so she’d eventually grow to have more of a control over her powers somehow, though she’d still be capable of getting lost in them and basically tethers on a brink between the honkai influence and her humanity and physically can not tell the difference between them, so she’s still fairly destructive and can be dangerous. Lilly still does everything she does in canon though maybe with more like character arc n stuff but she still dies young. Either due to her unique herrscher case somehow or honkai infection or whatever. But it doesn’t pass to a new host entirely.

WHICH BRINGS US TO THE NINJA AT LONG LAST

Cole is one of the rare cases of being a blood relative to a herrscher (since Lilly is important to his character and Lilly has her own story so) He’s not.. fully.. a herrscher?? But also he’s not NOT a herrscher. He does have an inherently shorter lifespan because, yk, kinda human + kinda god of honkai thingy doesn’t mix well and he probably suffers some form of long term honkai infection that will slowly claim his body. Nobody really knows the extent of the whole partial herrscher or just honkai thingymajig (and that’s my way of saying I don’t feel like figuring it out.) it’d probably tie into his plot with Lou n stuff. Lou knows obviously, I dunno if the ninja (or even Cole himself) would. He had a honkai outburst after Lilly’s death and that’s how Wu found him (Wu wasn’t aware of Cole since Lilly cut ties with him before that so that she could lead a normal life and he wanted to honor her wishes as best he could, and also bc Lilly knows Wu knows she’s a herrscher and she wanted to protect Cole from the consequences of that if anybody else found out and decided to take drastic measures)

Kai and Nya are mostly ordinary asides from Ray and Maya being survivors of the EA who were proficient in creating weapons used by the elemental alliance. Oh yeah Ray and Maya were still kidnapped by Krux in this btw, and Kai and Nya still have the plots they have in the show. Just like most of the ninja they eventually become herrscher hosts (or just Nya so that Kai can be the token human in all universes, but I don’t know.)

Jay was still raised by Ed and Edna in the junkyard. Lib was probably turned into a herrscher after his birth and decided she couldn’t raise him or went missing for other reasons after the war, possibly went insane. Anyways I feel like Jay might have been a child herrscher kinda. He’d just randomly go full electric and his parents chalked it up to a weird quirk. Somehow. He has no clue of this and it only gets worse as he grows up and he starts feeling scared of himself and runs away without a goal except to protect his parents and then he meets Wu. He probably was given an herrscher core instead of being,like “natural born” since I don’t think he’d get to be in any major honkai events in the desert but I dunno, so he’d probably have an alternate persona.

Zane I have two ideas for: 1. He was a child from the serpentine war who survived but with severe honkai infection and had cybernetic replacements to prolong his lifespan, with a herrscher core being used to power him as some sort of experiment. The core and stuff made it so he didn’t age. 2: he was built entirely as a robot, the herrscher core being used as a power source but as a side effect caused him to gain a conscience. He probably doesn’t remember anything of the herrschers/his previous life beyond flashes. The herrscher core gives him his ice power thingymajig.

I feel as though with herrscher powers n stuff -

Cole would have powers for the most part since S1 but not really on a herrscher scale bc yknow. Lilly and what not. I think he’d have a herrscher awakening but not as the herrscher of earth but like an offshoot.. like maybe in S5 with his ghost thingy..? And obviously S13.

I think it’d be funny if Kai is the token human and just relies on Valkyrie weapons n stuff. No powers for him. :) but if he did have one it’d be s7.

Nya was ALWAYS a Valkyrie in this AU but she didn’t think she was a herrscher for like the longest time up until S5. Here she makes the choice to try and seal her herrscher self away nd keep going as just a Valkyrie but eventually gives into it during S14.

Zane regularly experiences snippets of his prev life that he’s forgotten or sights from his herrscher core as like a special nifty power or whatever but his first outbreak was during S3 and he had a worse one in S11 where his memories, ironically enough, were instead reverted back to whatever his old persona was and he became the ice emperor over the poor never realm and introduced the honkai to them.

Jay I dunno really since he’d have an alternate persona and it’s hard to cram that into his focus seasons. No clue how the seasons plots would go at ALL in general.

..this post was way longer than I planned but yeah scrambled mess of thoughts. Also might not make sense since I’m only on Taixuan Dream story wise so. Yeah. This AU would have a ton of hurt/comfort, angst and character interactions and stuff though bc yk it’s a honkai AU. I have no clue how the plot would go pls help this post alone took forever. I didn’t even mention garmadon and his whole situation because I dunno.
