IS isnt adding the fuckin kagamine twin protagonists from warriors so im putting my hangups towards warriors aside to draw lianna as if she was in heroes cuz i actually kinda like her design. this has definitely been done before, but now it’s my turn >:)

this takes me back! i used to love copying the art from fe heroes when i was playing it in middle school and its how i got my foot in the door with improving my art since i was always practicing. i also have made mock-heroes art during that era for a collab (drew two characters from the binding blade manga), but that was back in the stone age of 2018 and ive improved a lot since that last attempt

i am not doing rowan cuz i hate his haircut. also drawing heroes-style art is kinda exhausting lmao i am not a fan of drawing a character with the exact same colors the exact same way…….. (though i do want to try this again in the far future with one of my ocs)

Here's a teaser of some select sketch panels as I plan out this comic's colors. For right now I'm just illustrating from that first panel of Xie Lian coughing up Cuo Cuo till Hua Cheng carries him off towards paradise manor. If I'm still feeling sufficiently motivated by the end I'll illustrate him pulling the needle out of his foot but idk its so long already haha.

When the interviewer asked when we should expect s5 to be coming out, that’s when Shawn mentioned that a little bit of an answer to that might be out there soon.

He actually mentions that this answer could be out by the time the video for this interview comes out, and since this interview was filmed mid-May and it’s now mid-June, I’m assuming we could be getting something soon or within the next couple months, potentially about a release date aka possibly a small teaser with 2025 stamped at the end…

I DID NOT AND DO NOT WANT TO.

Allow me to explain: I want to watch any and all Murder Drones episodes blindly without knowing or seeing anything on them. In fact, that's how I enjoy watching this show. Why, you may ask?

Because that's how I first watched the pilot.

I knew literally nothing about it. I didn't know who voiced in it, what it was all about, who created it... nothing. I just saw a thumbnail for a show that had to do with robots on the internet, and decided to watch it on a whim.

I was blindsided by everything. The first thing I did when N spoke was to very loudly exclaim "MICHEAL?!" And you know what? I enjoyed what I saw! It may have taken me two separate occasions to finish, but I enjoyed my experience watching it!

Did I know episode two came out? I was hyperfixating on something else at the time, so I only found out about it months later. And like with the pilot, I knew nothing about it. I hadn't seen any teasers or anything on it, so once again, I was blindsided by everything I witnessed. So on and so forth, for each and every episode.

It was easy for me not to see anything, because I didn't have reliable internet at the time. Therefore, I was completely unaware of release dates, I didn't see any teasers, I didn't see anything for any episodes.

Obviously, I could not avoid the one featured in GLITCHX, so it was unavoidable and is therefore the only exception to this rule. I am willingly choosing to commit to how I watch these next episodes, because it's been an enjoyable experience for me to get slapped in the face by every episode of this series so far.

And I'd like to keep it that way.

Okay, this is turning out longer than I meant it to be, so let's get to the point I wanna make: while this is the first news we're getting in a long while and it's certainly exciting, I am purposely trying to avoid seeing it so I can continue enjoying it this way.

Anyway, here's N playing the trumpet as an apology if I came off as aggressive at the start there. :3

Can I be real for a second? I don't think L giving a foot massage to Light was very in-character of him. Like manga!L would've totally scoffed at how pathetic anime!L appeared when he did that.

I like the rain scene bc it's really pretty (also Light MOANS bc of L? *sighs* yeah i ship lawlight) but I'm always so ?? at anime!L's behavior? The anime made L way too melancholic and y'know self-deprecating kinda guy. In contrast, manga!L (whom I love to death) is so so confident in doing what he's doing and has the time of his life during the Kira case as he's intellectually challenged (by Light) as he figures out the case little by little.

I don't get where the anime creators got the idea that L is a very sad character who cares about justice so much so that he's actually Justice itself? Manga!L enjoys solving cases. I'm not saying that L doesn't care about justice at all- just that he cares more about winning.

So, the anime creators looked at a character who cares about winning (& his own ego) than everything else and decided to... make him give a foot massage to his nemesis (surprise surprise bible symbolism featuring L as Jesus *🤮* coming up) apparently due to accepting Light's (boy's first debut as Judas) 'betrayal' how can there be betrayal when there was no trust between them in the first place and saying "It is the least I can do to atone for my sins"...

The only way I could've made a little sense of this is if L was mocking Kira with that line but the anime just had to go above & beyond to make it (L's actions) seem too genuine for that to be true. which is. so. FRUSTRATING

Manga!L wouldn't have done anything like that. Not even ironically (he'd have thought it to be below him for pretending to be accepting his defeat mockingly to Kira). Even Manga!L's not enough of a bastard to try to compare himself with Jesus (and just after knowing (god knows how) that he's going to die)- like that's too stupid omg: even for a mockery.

Does he actually think that Light would pick up on the (him as Jesus) symbolism and be like 'oh no! L is too noble like Jesus to die by my betrayal i'm such a bad judas how come i NEVER NOTICED THIS BEFORE'... and decide to spare L's life? Or embrace his inner Judas like the bad bitch he is and finish L for that godawful mockery of Jesus?

Whenever I think about Anime!Light's in-character reaction I crack up as it would be smth like 'wow this guy who graduated summa cum laude from torture university is pretending to be Jesus? lol what a real piece of work. would've expected better from you L: so pathetic lmao i hope rem kills you soon i'm so done with you rn- rip 💀'

Manga!L (if he knew he were going to die (don't know how that's possible in the anime; still we're talking about how the anime creators seem to see L as Jesus so ~anything is possible~) that is) would never go 'guess i'll die' accept his defeat offering a foot massage to his enemy and inwardly throw a pity party being all "… It'll be lonely, won't it?" GIRL you were the one going on & about how you'd EXECUTE Kira once you catch him on live tv (also saying that you'd bring Kira's head to the task force) I REALLY doubt you'd feel lonely if either one of you were to die- that (killing each other) was the point!!

Manga!L is a selfish character: he values his victory above all else so the anime making him accept defeat that easily + gracefully doesn't sit well with me.

Korm sat smiling at you as you peeked into his room. It was time for his lunch, the smell of the potatoes and leek soup creeping into the room mixed with something else as the cool fall air pushed into his stuffy room. Your scent. Like outside, a sweet, earthy smell he wished he could take into his whole body, not just his lungs. He relaxed as you softly stepped up to his bed, setting the wooden table on his lap in front of him. As per ritual, he went to his head, brushing his dark hair from his forehead. Your fingers made him excited, but he controlled himself. After all, it was other touches he wanted more. He leaned into your hand, closing his eyes and enjoying the moment.

"You are still a bit warmer than yesterday. I know you enjoy your weighted blanket, but I am worried you get too hot."

It was a crunch, perhaps. The blanket was a cheap replacement to make Krom feel like you were holding him tightly as he slept. He shook his hand, leaning on your shoulder as you let go of his head and sat beside him. 

"I like it. Also, it gets frigid at night Y/N. It is just the seasons changing. Didn't my mother tell you how I got worse this time of year?"

You let out a heavy breath as you hug the poor man to your chest affectionately like a mother would her child. He, however, had other thoughts as you held him to you—a less Savory moment of you both where his face is at your chest.

You take his face in his hands and squish so his lips pucker up at you and take him out of his daydream. Your eyes sparkle at him with warmth and love as you massage his face, listing what you would both do today. Breakfast, physical therapy, and some reading of the newest Brandom Sanderson secret novel that just came out, and if he were good, you would sneak him some time on your switch to play whatever game you wanted.

If he was good, he was your good little patient. He wanted nothing more than to hear you praise him and spoil him like you or the last three months you have been under his mother's employ to take care of him.

The pleasure of all your attention made the fact that he was faking everything that much easier.
