Effective Skin Care With Face Cleansers
Face cleansers are an essential part of any routine. A good cleanser can help remove dirt, oil, and makeup, while also providing hydration to your skin and make it healthy and youthful. With so many cleansers in the market, it can be difficult to know which one is the best for your skin type. Here are some tips for choosing the right face cleanser for your skin.
Check your Skin Type
First, consider your skin type. If you have dry skin, look for a cleanser that is gentle and moisturizing. If you have oily skin, look for one that is oil-free and non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog your pores). You may also want to look for cleansers specifically designed for sensitive skin, as they will be less likely to irritate your skin.

Ingredients Check
Pay attention to the ingredients in your skincare products. Look out for organic, plant-based ingredients such as kakadu plum, coconut milk, mint, berries, etc, which can provide hydrate, nourish and moisturize skin. Avoid harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances, which can be drying and irritating. When it comes to face cleansers, organic ingredients are the way to go. Organic ingredients provide nourishment to your skin without harming it Organic cleansers are usually made with ingredients like fruity extracts, coconut milk and essential oils, which are all gentle on the skin. Organic cleansers are generally much gentler on the skin than chemical-based cleansers, so they are a great choice for all skin types. Ikkai offers a great range of organic cleansers. These are free from harsh chemicals, preservative-free, vegan and cruelty-free, which makes Ikkai face cleansers a great choice for anyone looking to reduce their exposure to chemicals.
Cleansers For Skin Concerns
Add a face cleanser to your routine that helps make your skin healthy. Look for a cleanser that helps resolve skin concerns like excess oil, acne, dryness, etc. Ikkai Mint Mojito and Pina Colada face washes are great skin-healing cleansers that help with oil control, clarifying, and hydrating skin. Both contain organic ingredients that effectively clear out dirt from the skin. The Mint Mojito face wash is perfect for controlling oil and clarifying skin, while the Pina Colada face wash is great for brightening and hydrating skin. These organic face washes provide a gentle yet effective cleansing experience that leaves skin soft and refreshed.

ANUA Heart Leaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil
Okay, I’m sure most of us having probably heard of this product once or twice right? Upon my first time using it gunk, blackheads, and whiteheads that I didn’t even know I had came up due to this product. Overall it’s made my skin really smooth and clear so much so that it literally looks like i’m wearing a real life filter when I look into the mirror!
CERAVE Foaming Facial Cleanser
An amazing product through and through, you can never go wrong with this cleanser tbh. I was using the ANUA heart leaf foaming cleanser but it literally broke me out so bad, I think it’s because of the fragrance so I had to switch back to this one and it’s cleared up all of the breakouts.
ANUA Heart Leaf 77% Toner Pads
Hydrates my skin SOO well I always use just 2 pads and let them sit on my cheeks for a bit before applying it to my face entire face and neck but they’re so calming especially after i’ve had them in the fridge.
ANUA Heart Leaf 77% Soothing Toner
I may as well be using the whole line at this point.. but this toner has been blowing up for so long I just decided I had to buy it and give it a try, and oh my god how this product cleared my breakouts so so quickly. Such a good product to use when your breaking out it truly does a really good time soothing it.
COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Power Essence
Yes i’m highly influenced I know! I’m so glad that I got this product, it’s like a holy grail for acne. This paired with the two toners is such a blessing, no seriously. This product aids in getting rid of bumps I had on my face especially on my forehead.
ANUA Peach 70% Niacinamide serum
My faveee I can talk about this product for soo long. I’ve tried many serums but none come close to this one it’s such a good product even my mom started using it. The scent is amazing it smells exactly like peaches, after immediately applying this serum onto my face it gives such a nice dewy glow and helps brighten my face! Makes me feel like such a princess. Last Anua product I promise.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Moisturizer
They were not lying when they said glow.. Using this product gives you an INSTANT glow to your skin and the scent is so dreamy and perfect. I have not been using this product long and honestly besides the glowiness it gives and the yummy scent there’s not really anything special about it. And why is it so expensive..
LA ROCHE-POSAY Melt-In Milk Sunscreen 60
Such a nice sunscreen, leaves no white cast, is glowy but not to a point where it just looks greasy. Only problem I have with it is the packaging, it kinda like explodes or leaks? I don’t know if it’s the actual product itself or maybe just a error on my end but it gets really annoying sometimes but overall a really good choice of sunscreen!
LANEIGE Berry Lip Sleeping Mask
Yes as I said highly influenced… I always use this after finishing my skincare routine before i’m about to go to bed. It leaves my lips really moisturized and soft and smells amazing! At first I thought it would be the same as any other lip mask but it’s such a unique and nice consistency that I haven’t seen before in a lip mask.

bought like actual skincare products for the first time in years and have some notes.
the whole anti-aging cosmetic industry is really hard to avoid. i was getting stuff at a marshall’s (discount store, carries a lot of overstock from brands) to save money and it took me almost an hour to find a handful of products that weren’t advertising “anti-aging” and “youthfulness” when i just wanted a cleanser, toner, and sunscreen to help with both peeling skin and greasiness
no seriously. i found ONE facial sunscreen that didn’t have retinol or hyaluronic acid or collagen or any of that stuff in it. it was tucked away in the men’s section with beard oil and cologne because apparently facial sunscreen with no added bullshit is only for men, and women (this is borderline a fast fashion store it’s highly gendered) can only protect themselves from skin cancer if it also makes sure they never develop a smile line
so many of those serums and creams and shit are bullshit anyway. hell a lot of people can just do a wash and sunscreen and be all set. at most a basic cleanser, basic moisturizer, and sunscreen are the absolute most you need. i threw in an exfoliating toner to help even out a couple gnarly acne scars and help with how flaky my skin gets sometimes. if your skin needs more than that, you really should probably just go to a dermatologist or look for actual dermatologist’s advice instead of dumping a bunch of random oils and serums and creams n shit you saw on tiktok or instagram on your skin and hoping the benefits listed on the box will be true for you
IN MOST CASES no amount of skincare products can make up for lifestyle change. i decided to put a little more work in because the lifestyle changes i need to make to help be less oily (i literally get so greasy it makes my eyes burn) and flaky aren’t currently feasible, so i’m trying to give my skin a bit of a boost, but literally the best my skin has ever felt was when i was just drinking a shit ton of water and eating super well
other people’s skincare will rarely work the same on anyone else. everyone’s skin needs are different. when i was in high school i had a gnarly abrasion/chemical burn under my eye because i had tried a routine i saw online that was way too rough and overbearing for me. again, you 100% don’t need a 30 step routine
that being said, i used a $4 korean cleanser, a $6 glycolic acid toner (exfoliant), 100% pure african shea butter, and some sunscreen formulated for use on the face. my skin feels great. my acne doesn’t itch as much. the toner was the most expensive part. the beauty industry is a scam
