OMG thanks for the strawberry tips In your tags! I physically cannot stand eating them once they start getting mushy at all because as a kid I unintentionally ate a rotten one and now anytime I see a bruise I want to vomit lmao. Will be trying this because while I love them so much I'd like to have them in my home longer than a day at a time. 😊🍓💕

Fun fact!!! Did you know one of the oldest citruses’ most important part is the rind? That’s Citrus medica for you!!! (Citron) the pulp is almost non-existent which pissed me and my friend off when we bought it bc we thought they’d ripped us off but turns out you eat everything else!!! It’s subtly sweet and tbh a bit bland, but it’s much better as a cooking ingredient or used for perfumes bc of its insanely high aromatic %!!

Also I totally get you, I can’t eat plums (unless they’re prunes!!) because I once ate one that’d been sitting in the sun for hours as a kid and the taste+texture was sooooo revolting I was forever traumatized. Also, noodle soup (like, those short noodles specifically, not ramen etc) because I can’t stand the texture ghhhhhh
