#hopping on the trend jumpscare i’m from hong kong surprise #i haven’t seen that many hk mikus around #lowkey chat i think i kinda ate with this one #however i will say i am coloring in the dark so if any colors look off that’s why #and also i haven’t opened this program in literal months i jumped straight into this no warmup no nothing #miku is what pulls me out of art block apparently i was locked in for 5 hours STRAIGHT #someone needs to teach me how to paint properly holy #not sure how i feel about the bottom left one but that was a quick one anyways #i am from hk originally but i haven’t been back in years so i have no idea about the culture other than food and mirror #OKAY let me explain the context #street food is a big thing in hk and quick and easy things like fish balls egg waffles and like siu mai and wonton noodles are popular #back then people really would just squat down on the side of the road or right in front of the shop to eat it and go #but i don’t think anyone does that anymore city life and all that #ohh i should have done instant noodles breakfasts god i loved those #if anyones from hk if you go to the causeway bay mtr station exit that leads up to the big road near soho. do they still sell siu mai there #that shit was BANGER i remember asking for them all the time #a good majority of parents in hk would get their daughters ears pierced as a baby something about them not feeling as much pain idk #that’s just what i was told #i used the neon for her friendly standard greeting cause i wanted to incorporate the neon signs somehow without actually drawing a whole bg #lots of neon signs in hk. i heard they had to take them down cause of light pollution which is sad but understandable #everyone got their shoes from dr kong. at least when i was younger they did #boy band is self explanatory. i heard they’re really popular my mom listens to them #oh i had her messing with her shoes cause hk people move FAST. you stop for one second and you get shoved #so like a fun little allusion #gave her black roots just for fun. she is violating every school uniform code possible #this is all based off of my memory by the way so like. anyone who knows this better than i do hit me up #hatsune miku #miku from my culture #jellos scribbles #i haven’t tag yapped in so long welcome back my love i missed you

for the last three days, the exact same giant jumping spider keeps turning up in the house. no matter how many times i put him back outside, he just turns up in here again a day later

today he showed up on the wall above my bed. starting to wonder if we don't have something living in the walls he's tryna eat

#if he shows up again i'm going to have to name him #we already call every single house centipede “slinkie” in honor of the First and Biggest #and there's a hive of carpenter bees that's been living under our back step the last 5 years or so #every year there's one male bee that hovers constant guard over top of the back step (this is a thing carpenter bees do)#he can't do anything except hover at you disgruntledly since male carpenter bees don't have stingers #and i'm pretty sure it's a different bee every year #but we've started calling every male bee that hovers there like that “bouncer”#and greeting him every time we enter or exit the back door

#i didn't get to do the sidequest i almost got though 😔#i exited my apartment. theres a guy outside and i greet him bc i assumed he was a neighbour #and he greets me back and then hes like im sorry i hopped over the fence as a shortcut idk if that's fine #nd then continued and said he'll check if he dropped something #and i'm like yea ok sure!#bc i was going to lidl and i wanted to get going but i did just stand there for a bit in case the guy needed help or something #then he emerged from the fence area and he was like ''if you find something in there can you pick it up akd put out a note'' and i was like #yea ofc! i'll do that if i see anything #and then he was like this is a very nice area so i trust people will let me know if i did drop something #and i was like for sure #im not great at smalltalk but he was very polite so i tried my best #also he seemed like he wasnt having the best time #he might have been on something bc he was slurring his speech and drooling a lot and there was a certain look in his eyes but honestly that #none of my business #we said bye and i sat in my car and then he was like ''hey actually i live like a minute away super close but my bag is super heavy #can i get a ride there it's super close next to [redacted]''#and i moved my bag from the front seat and was like ''yea sure''#and then he stared at me for a bit and was like ''actually i dont want to bother you have a nice day bye'' and left with a wave #i was like you too and waved back #he didnt look like he had any trouble walking so i came to the conclusion that he's fine and then went to lidl #but honestly i am a bit disappointed he didnt want me to give him a ride after all bc he seemed like he would have interesting things to sa #he was super polite and talked a lot and despite me being a finn i dont always mind strangers talking to me #bc if i have nothing important to do it's like. might as well!#another chat outside my apartment ive had was this old lady and she knew a lot about the history of the area we live in #and it was very interesting and also like i said if im in no hurry to go anywhere i love listening to ppl yap about whatever #i hope both the fence hopping guy and the old lady are doing good #leevi talks

I don’t remember much from the danganronpa end of hopes peak anime, nor do I remember liking it too much, but every time I think about the episode where Chiaki dies I kinda just have to lie down and cry for a minute 🥺

#danganronpa #havent seen it in years man but i remember watching it with a friend the first time #she had to run to the bathroom to compose herself cuz she was sobbing so much 😭#it fucked me up like at the time i dont even think i was that crazy about chiaki #this has changed over time shes like my second favorite character from the game now #but damn just like her being doomed from the start was so AAAAAA #cuz the big twist with her in dr2 was that she was an ai instead of a real living person #so when you see her in the flesh in the anime youre kinda like huh what? i thought she was just an ai??#and then it hits you that oh. oh no #and in the episode shes fighting so hard to make it through this death trap like she gets absolutely fucked up #if she survived shed need serious medical attention quickly #but despite everything she makes it to the exit and is greeted by her friends and teacher and its like OMG SHE DID IT #and then the rug is pulled out from under her and you the audience cuz no matter how much you route for her shes doomed #GIRL IS DOOMED BY THE NARRATIVE #but fuuuck the bit that always gets me is when izuru sees her dying #and shes just like pathetically sloshing around in her own blood trying to talk to the person he is inside #telling him that hes still loved by her despite everything theyve been through #and just fucking. izuru having no emotions no recollection of who this girl is just watches her die #AND DESPITE EVERYTHING HE STILL CRIES BECAUSE DEEP DOWN HES STILL THAT BOY HE USED TO BE #AND DESPITE EVERYTHING THATS CHANGED HE STILL LOVES HER AND HE DOESNT UNDERSTAND WHY #yeah lol something about that fucked me up lol
