The other kids were adopted by Bruce. The man took care of them and saw them as his kid.

Tim? Tim adopted Bruce as his to take care of. He ensured that man survived and maintained essential upkeep tasks (like sleeping, receiving medical care, eating, etc.). The relationship eventually morphs into being more mutual on taking care of each other, but it starts the exact opposite of Bruce's relationship with the rest of his kids.

I just want Tim, trying to explain to his siblings why he has a different relationship with Bruce, and they come to the conclusion that he basically fathered Bruce out of his all-encompassing grief.

hi disabled friends. here's list of minimal things you can do to increase your hygiene & comfort today, if possible ♡

put on at least 1 clean(er) article of clothing (ex: underwear)

brush your hair

rub your teeth with a towel

rinse your mouth with water

splash your face with water

grab a clean(er) blanket

flip your pillowcase to the side you haven't been using

change your posture, stretch

put on a gentle light, or draw the curtains

allow yourself at least a few minutes in a quiet environment

put on some soft background noise (ex: ambient sound, lofi)

try to pick out some pleasant sensory input (ex: birds chirping, how soft your clothes/blanket is)

and if you cant do any of these, dont guilt yourself. disability isnt a failing, and you're doing the best you can!

Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation Executive Order

Signed January 28, 2025

This executive order does the following:

Falsely claims that medical professionals are "maiming" children.

Claims, without citation, that "countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding."

Refers to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) as "junk science."

Instructs all federal agencies to repeal all children-related policies that rely on the WPATH's guidance.

Directs all agencies that fund medical schools and hospitals for research or education to force these schools and hospitals to stop providing gender-affirming care for children.

Gives permission to the Department of Health and Human Services to make changes to Medicaid and Medicare to stop gender-affirming care.

Cancels the “HHS Notice and Guidance on Gender Affirming Care, Civil Rights and Patient Privacy” policy signed in March of 2022.

Allows the Attorney General to revoke custody from parents who seek gender-affirming care for their children.

Ensures that federal employee health plans stop covering transgender-related surgeries and hormone treatments for children starting in 2026.

Directs the Department of Defense to change their insurance details to no longer cover surgeries or medications that alter a child's body, surgically or medically.

There's something to be said about Heaven Sent/Hell Bent, despite the Doctor overthrowing the Time Lord Council and spending four and a half billion years in the confession dial and him and Clara and Me meeting at the end of universe, therefore technically spanning the longest time span, being fundamentally the smallest in stakes of any of the modern Doctor Who finales. At the end of the day, there is no threat to earth or the galaxy or the universe or reality. It's just about two people and the way that they turn each other inside out and the way that they reflect each other as two sides of the same coin and the way their relationship was always going to end this way- with the flip of the coin, spinning in the air, each trying to override the other, each trying to take control of the story, each haunting each other forever.

It's under my microscope. It's rotating rent free in my head. It's everything good about Moffat's writing- fairytale vibes, wrenching character work, two characters that thematically parallel each other- and none of the bad, because he's not trying to be too clever or fuck with the rules too much, there's a couple of simple concepts played straight to their inevitable conclusions: Clara Oswald needs to die but the Doctor can't let it happen, he wants her to forget but she can't let it happen, so they both will do the most devasting things in the world to stop the other and they both get their way in the end but only in a way that will leave them haunting each other forever.

And it's so fucking good.

In this example below I put the Magic ToDo Task as "take a shower" (but it can be any task)

Here is the lowest spicy take (aka not broken down into many steps)

And here is the highest spicy level (where the tasks are broken into many easily managable step that will tell you exactly what to do)

Any parts of this you feel like didn't give you enough steps? Need more clarity? No problem! Any step you can edit or break it into even smaller steps!

Legitimately it can break down any task, making them so much more approachable and manageable.

And if this incredibly cool task helper thing wasn't enough for you, the website has five other functions
