Sorry but every single post whining abt how “trans discourse” needs to stop in the vaguest possible terms is the dumbest shit ever. Literally the most condescending people saying “I already know to treat people with respect :-)” like okay. Im sorry you’re too enlightened to care about trans people (again usually women actively complaining about men’s misogyny) talking about their own issues and everyone should just shut up and treat each other well :-). Like that post going around about how we should just ignore issues women have with men and just pretend everything is okay until it actually is.
If you dont do the work to unlearn your bigotry you’re going to parrot societal assumptions and norms into your so-called progressive spaces. To plug your ears and act like everyone’s complaints are just nonsense is to doom yourself to being a reactionary.
#literally especially dumb as shit seeing the tags and comments of posts like this#bc everyone and their mom is fearmongering about conservative division Be So Fucking Real Right Now.#Do you Seriously Think the people getting pulled in by Conservatives are those arguing for radical change and re-evaluation of social norms#or is it going to be drawing in reactionaries whod want to turn a blind eye to people in their communities who have issues with the way#that things are right now#like seriously its just stupid to act like the ward against ‘manufactured discourse’ is to just plug your ears and ignore what it has to sa#when even if its meaningless#actively engaging with it means you have a Reason For your beliefs#and not just leaning on whats ‘normal’ or what makes you the least uncomfortable!!!

saw a post that was supposed to be like "wow finally cutting through the privilege discourse to address trans misandry" and idk it basically just boiled down to "we shouldn't just tell dudes from our minority to sit down and shut up" which is like, I really don't think is a common position anywhere in trans circles? Like no one's ever told me not to talk about my life and being a trans guy? No one's ever said that I can't experience oppression? I also just think the post centres "privilege framework" way too much. Maybe I'm just onna nother level but I've never seen privilege as anything other than basically a rhetorical device that aids in de-centring normative positions as the default affective/subjective standpoint.
And like, I don't really like the examples of racialized men's oppression as somehow proving that trans dudes can also have worse outcomes like it just seems insanely insanely gross to even make that leap bc I actually can't think of an example of oppression of trans guys specifically that only happens to trans guys other than just being treated like passive non-actors, which is OBVIOUSLY bad and I've literally never heard anyone say otherwise. Like everything else (health care discrimination (like, you guys know trans women have to go to urologists and get discriminated against for breast cancer and stuff right like it's not like "women's care" is the only sex specific health needs), sexual assault (position of being perceived as feminine and vulnerable bc of trans status, this dynamic also makes trans women targets for assault), etc.
Like black and brown guys get killed for being perceived as men (active subjects), combined with being non-white (any number of dangerous white supremacist assumptions). Given white supremacy comes from the globe wide campaign of the colonization, enslavement and and genocide of the world's global majority it seems kind of crazy to use that massive overarching culture and politics framework to point to outcomes for our less than 1% population that exists and is responded to as basically an aberrant blip in the dominant sex-gender binary.
Like genuinely I think all disparities between trans masculinity and trans feminity come out to basically 2 things, which are our perceived agencies, and our perceived "sexedness" (will explain). When we experience transphobia differently and are not just experiencing the blanket transphobia which is like "you are an aberration why are you like this we hate you", it's either the "trans women are nefarious, active agents in their transition while trans men are passive, following dupes" mirroring bioessentialist and sexist assumptions made against many marginalized groups's genders, or it comes from a similar vein of agency projection, just through a lens of the sexuality of our bodies: "trans men are basically neutered, possessing neither feminine breasts nor masculine penis, trans women are doubly sexed having both." And through this lens, transmisogyny becomes clear why it's a term of analysis that we use, and why transmisandry is just.... Not helpful? Refers to little? It basically could only even encompass our inversion of the trans woman as the nafarious, oversexed, sexually dangerous that the world placed on us under oppositional sexism. We are much more antagonized when viewed as trans people than as trans men imo.
#Mine#Shooting myself for engaging in discourse it feels so ass backwards we are devoting all this time arguing about misandry as a legitimate#Concept. I suppose it's not a waste bc it's helping our community develop and refine how we think about our relations to the world and this#Misandry stuff is a common growing pain it seems most communities go through trying to develop an idea of how gender affects them as#Subjects but like boy it's tiresome and a lot of these guys genuinely talk to women who they supposedly just want community with like#Mortal enemies and puppet overlords and it's just kind of insane and crazy#And it's just like. To my faculties just such an evaluation of the situation that flies in the face of reality I'm just like can this#Please not become a common viewpoint in our community like can you please take a breather and talk to some women

Revitalizing Our Earth: An All-Encompassing Approach to Sustainable Soil Remediation
Introduction
The process of soil remediation is of paramount importance to the conservation of our environment. Contaminated soils have far-reaching implications on our ecosystem, affecting not only humans but wildlife as well. This comprehensive guide delves deep into various soil remediation methods, emphasizing the most efficient techniques to rejuvenate tainted soils and return them to a healthy state.
Recognizing the Various Forms of Soil Contamination
Chemical Pollution: This arises when harmful chemicals like heavy metals, pesticides, and petroleum byproducts seep into the soil, potentially posing severe threats to human health and the environment. Biological Pollution: Disease-causing agents such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites may infiltrate the soil, negatively impacting both human and animal health. Physical Pollution: This encompasses the existence of debris like construction materials, plastics, and other solid waste, which can interfere with the natural structure and functionality of soil ecosystems.
Leading Practices for Soil Remediation
Excavation and Disposal: Excavation involves the manual removal of polluted soil and disposing of it at designated hazardous waste facilities. Although effective for localized contamination, it can be costly and needs considerable logistical planning.
Soil Washing: This technique involves the use of water, chemical, and physical processes to extract pollutants from soil particles. It is especially effective in treating soils polluted with heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and other soluble inorganics such as chlorides.
Bioremediation: This environmentally friendly method leverages naturally occurring microorganisms to degrade pollutants within the soil. It can treat a wide range of pollutants, including petroleum products, pesticides, and chlorinated solvents.
Phytoremediation: Phytoremediation employs plants to extract contaminants in the soil through accumulation. It is particularly effective in treating soils polluted with heavy metals.
Thermal Desorption: This process involves heating contaminated soil to high temperatures, vaporizing the pollutants, which allows for their capture and treatment. It is highly effective for treating soils contaminated with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs).
Soil Stabilization: Soil stabilization requires adding binding agents like cement or lime to contaminated soil, immobilizing pollutants to prevent their migration and reduce their bioavailability to plants and animals.
Deciding on a Soil Remediation Method: Key Considerations
Choosing the most appropriate soil remediation method requires considering factors like the extent and type of contamination, soil properties, cost and time constraints, and the potential risks to human health and the environment.
Ensuring Success through Monitoring and Evaluation of Soil Remediation Projects
The key to a successful soil remediation project lies in ongoing monitoring and evaluation, which involves regular testing of soil samples, as well as groundwater monitoring, to ensure that the chosen remediation method is effective and contaminants have been successfully eliminated or reduced to acceptable levels.
Conclusion and Future Prospects
Soil remediation plays a crucial role in environmental protection and public health endeavors. As our knowledge of soil contamination and remediation methods continues to expand, so does the development of innovative methods and technologies. These advancements promise significant improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and the environmental impact of soil remediation efforts.
Soil Remediation and Sustainable Development
Soil remediation is a significant component in achieving sustainable development goals by mitigating the adverse impacts of soil contamination on human health, biodiversity, and ecosystem services. Investment in soil remediation projects and adopting best practices ensure the return of contaminated land to productive use, contributing to the long-term health and wellbeing of communities and ecosystems.
Public Awareness and Community Engagement
Elevating public awareness and fostering community involvement are key to the success of soil remediation projects. Actively engaging with local communities, enlightening them about the risks related to soil contamination, and involving them in remediation efforts' planning and execution, cultivates a sense of ownership and responsibility for the health of our communal environment.
Regulatory Guidelines and Governmental Support
Robust regulatory frameworks and governmental backing are crucial for the successful execution of soil remediation projects. This includes formulating and enforcing stringent environmental standards, as well as providing financial and technical support to bolster remediation initiatives. Through a collaborative approach, governments, industries, and communities can effect positive change and make significant strides towards tackling the global challenge of soil contamination.
Concluding Remarks
Soil remediation is a critical element of environmental protection and public health strategies. By understanding the various forms of contamination and the most effective remediation techniques, we can strive towards revitalizing contaminated soils and safeguarding the health of both our ecosystems and human populations. Choosing the right remediation method demands careful consideration of factors such as the type and extent of contamination, soil properties, cost and time constraints, and potential environmental and human health risks. Monitoring and evaluation are key components of any soil remediation project to guarantee its long-term success and confirm that contaminants have been effectively managed.
The Future of Soil Remediation
As our comprehension of soil contamination and remediation techniques improves, innovative methods and technologies are persistently being developed. These advancements hold the potential to considerably enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact of soil remediation initiatives. By staying informed about the latest research and progress in the field, we can aim towards implementing more sustainable and effective solutions to tackle soil contamination issues and safeguard our environment for future generations.

Writing Notes: Character Traits (Virtues)
When describing someone, we often describe the virtues or values they exhibit, which are aligned to their character.
Virtues - positive personal strengths and behaviors that demonstrate an individual’s moral standards.
Can be considered the foundation of character and can be categorized as moral virtues, civic virtues, intellectual virtues, or performance virtues.
Types of Virtues
INTELLECTUAL VIRTUES
Can be considered habits of mind, enabling individuals to become critical thinkers who ask the right questions and seek answers from evidence-based resources.
These virtues support discernment, right action and the pursuit of knowledge while enabling problem-solving.
MORAL VIRTUES
Can be considered habits of the heart.
Moral character guides decision making from multiple perspectives allowing individuals to evaluate situations and respond in a meaningful and responsible manner that keeps the betterment of society and all stakeholders in the forefront.
These virtues guide social connections and ethical decision making.
CIVIC VIRTUES
Can be considered habits of service.
Civic character supports a collaborative approach to solving systemic problems to contribute to the well-being of others and serve the public good.
These virtues ultimately support citizenship and community.
PERFORMANCE VIRTUES
Can be considered habits of action and will, enabling us to marry the quality of our actions to the strength of our convictions.
These virtues equip and enable one to navigate life and uncertainty for success.
Performance virtues are informed by intellectual, moral, and civic virtues.
In collaboration, the virtue types allow individuals space to develop a deeper sense of virtuous behavior and growth through personal experiences and reflection when the virtues collide, known as practical wisdom, furthering our good sense.
Practical wisdom

Wild that you didn't even check your posts before answering this, but okay. My /tone/ is not going to get nicer, so you'll just have to address the /actual content/ of my writing while ignoring the /rudeness/.
In teal you waffle between acknowledging that specific trans communities both deserve and do not deserve to talk about how the misogyny+transphobia of other ppl Uniquely Intersect to affect themselves— an experience that depends on the incongruence between how their body was perceived at birth (xfm) & how society(+the law) at large perceives their gender *now* [the categories being (cis/passing)Man ; (cis/passing)Woman ; & ThingThatIsWrong (any number of derogatory terms)]. Since only perisex cishet men are meant to wield patriarchal privilege within the hegemonic definition of a Real Man— categorically all trans+intersex ppl are excluded whether we consider it 'fair' or not (or whether we 'pass as men' or not). So there is no reason transmisogyny would exist as the only possible intersecting expression of transphobia to be 'worthy' of being discussed with a name, since all trans genders & intersex variations explicitly transgress against their Assigned Patriarchal Hierarchy and are punished in-line with what it decides You Should Be.
In yellow you literally did the exact thing you're saying "you never said". Trans men would not BE trans if they were not also men— the transphobia directly at trans men SPECIFICALLY hinges on their sexual anatomy being 'inferior' in the eyes of patriarchy & unworthy of Maleness, and therefore are all female interlopers + 'corruptors of the male category' (while also being male interlopers + 'traitors to the female cause'). Transandrophobia*(virilmisia/etc.) is still the intersection of misogyny+transphobia bc the ACTUAL WORLD WE LIVE IN overwhelmingly does not see eg.)Pregnant Men as Real Men & having queer & trans-friendly spaces chomping at the bit to find ~Males~ they can abuse 'for not being women (enough)' has routinely hurt every single trans person who did not Pass as 'feminine enough to be trustworthy' regardless of their gender. It is radfem poison & this site is steeped in it.
In red you expose that, no, you have NOT been keeping up with discussions of antiblackness & intersectionality; bc the antiblack racism that Black men experience is in fact held to be **specifically because they are men who are Black** & their specific experiences with racism can not be disentangled from their gender. Misogynoir (& transmisogynoir) were coined BECAUSE discussions of antiblack racism treated cis Black men's experience as the default 'Just Racism' (whether Black women experienced it or not) and the antiblackness that targeted black women *specifically* was being dismissed as Divisive (which was the exact same thing they heard from white feminists whenever they brought up misogyny that was uniquely directed at them) and not worthy of name or discussion (by EITHER group they *allegedly* had to support them— see: transmisogynoir needing to be coined in direct response to transfeminists doing white feminism 2.0).
The rest of your post is not better thought out or particularly compassionate to trans ppl's actual lived experiences irl, frankly. Saying "idk the ~implied~ etymological vibes are bad [bc you erroneously think you can seperate out the andro from the trans; by fundementally misunderstanding what an Intersection is] and also anyways it shouldn't even need a word to gather under [thereby silencing trans masc community discussions & contributing both to furthering transmasc erasure AND reinforcing the anti-feminist bias of treating 'male experiences' as the neutral default & not its own thing] what is this, oppression olympics?? [dismissing+trivializing discussions as just 'Divisive ID Politics' that are already covered under Other Bigotries]" is significantly more insidious than you realize; and I'm not greeting that mentality with ~kind platitudes~.
------------
‐----------
TL;DR – ONLY PERISEX CISHET MEN ARE THE STRUCTURAL BENEFACTORS OF PATRIARCHY.
STOP PENALIZING TRANS PPL FOR THEIR ""PERCEIVED ADJACENCY TO MALENESS""/""PERCEIVED DISTANCE FROM FEMININITY""— NO ONE HERE BENEFITS FROM BEING TRANS ONCE IT'S KNOWN THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE.
* R E A D * BLACK GENDER THEORY *BEFORE* USING ITS TERMINOLOGY.
* THIS POST IS NOT ABOUT TRANSFEMINIST THEORY *
I'd like to remind you that "Man" should not be treated as the Default Human Identity— all men have an Intersectional identity inclusive of their gender; that they aren't women/etc. doesn't mean their gender doesn't factor into how oppression axes impact them.
You seem like you missed out on the Masculinities section of Intersectional Feminism— you should fix that before misinforming people on what intersectionality (as a tool for feminist analysis) is used for by claiming that Privileged Positions (white/cis/male/etc.) are somehow not their own "Intersectional Identities" bc they "aren't oppressed".
i very much don’t think that men are non-oppressed? i know that men are oppressed by the patriarchy, in ways that are subtle and often overlooked. men as a whole are oppressed on a societal scale, because the patriarchy oppresses all that are in it. men who are in some way marginalized— queer, non-white, neurodivergent, physically disabled, etc— will have to face this oppression in tandem with the other identity (or identities) for which they are marginalized. this is a fact, and not one i have ever tried to deny?
please don’t put words in my mouth like that. also, in the future, if you disagree with me on a subject, just say that and approach me in good faith. when you come into people’s inboxes with accusations like this (especially on anon), you’re just going to make them want to go on the defensive. i’m not one to get in online arguments, especially not over topics that i explicitly stated i dislike discussing, but being this aggressive with people isn’t going to get you far if you want them to actually hear what you have to say.
#antiblackness#soooo sorry you have to deal with my 'abrasiveness'#but also don't immediately fucking pivot to 'I never said that ever but also I agree with it' followed by tone policing#'tumblr fucking STOP drinking the Misandry!!!GrrlPwr!!! radfem kool-aid' challenge failed for the 15th+ year running#I love being in lesbian spaces & I hate the constant cycle of 'we made lesbian women's seperatism but GOOD this time we prommy'#and what is 'good' about the new iteration is there's a new target of 'sufficiently man enough' to harass out of their own community#same as the other {No He-Him Lesbians No Lesboys No Trans Lesbians No MSpec Lesbians No b4b Lesbians} misogynistic 'male-exclusion' stints#& eventually this ideological ~trend~ is going to be seen with the exact same embarassed 'I never did that' attitude of exclusivity policin#anyways trans theory is made fuller with the 'transandrobro' analysis of powerjacketing & malgendering#intersectionality is entering pop-SJ levels of Not Being Engaged With Critically & is gonna be another Black theory term worn out by misuse#<- the reason behind my tone btw; CRT&cancelled &woke all got fucking misused+twisted by 'pop-theorists' whose new usage supplants the OG#definition— bc the ppl using the terms seemingly refuse to seek out the actual texts+discussion spaces that coined them#tag rant#longpost#shitty feminism#transmisogyny#transphobia#queer theory#virilmisia is even coined by a wellknown transfeminist years ago on twt; so you have no excuse to dismiss it on the basis of 'bad gender ID#transfeminist theory is important; and part of engaging in theory is being able to re-evaluate its conclusions + interrogate its assumption#in an effort to both reaffirm its truths & correct its blindspot biases#like. transmisogynoir has NO REASON to be as ignored in transfem online circles as it currently is—#but the virulent+pervasive antiblack racism on tumblr has cultivated its echo chamber of white feminism & blusky doesn't seem any better#fuck musk for killing twitter; so much was lost

☻ 𝒫𝒾𝒸𝓀 𝒜 𝒫𝒾𝓁ℯ: 𝒲𝒽𝒶𝓉𝓈 ℋ𝒶𝓅𝓅ℯ𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒩ℯ𝓍𝓉 ℐ𝓃 𝒴ℴ𝓊𝓇 ℒ𝒾𝒻ℯ ☻
𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝟭
Coming up next in your life is a time full of action and determination. You have your eye on something, and you’re not letting up. This is going to be a busy period where you’re focused on taking the necessary steps to achieve your goals. You’ll find yourself preoccupied with many tasks, adopting a go-getter mindset fueled by tenacity and ambition. However, this drive could lead to a hectic and even chaotic time.
Because of your intense focus, interacting with others might lead to conflict. You won’t want anyone to interfere with your plans, and this might cause tension with people who aren’t on the same page as you. The biggest challenge will likely be dealing with those who want you to slow down, be more present, or spend more time with them. Your forward-thinking, goal-oriented mindset may make it hard for you to prioritize quality time with others.
There seems to be someone in your life—possibly someone with romantic feelings for you—who feels neglected because of your preoccupation. They want your attention, time, and emotional connection. While they’re initiating communication and quality time, you’re focused elsewhere, leading to a disconnect. This person might feel as though you’re not taking them seriously or envisioning a future together, which could create conflict.
Your actions during this time may come across as selfish—not in a malicious way, but because you’re prioritizing your goals over emotional connections. This might lead to neglecting the emotional needs of those around you, leaving them feeling excluded. The person who has feelings for you seems emotionally invested, but you may not be reciprocating their energy or interest, which could make it feel as though you’re leading them on.
This imbalance is likely to create tension and disagreements in your interpersonal relationships. Misaligned perceptions between you and this person could result in a breakdown of trust and further arguments. They might feel as though you’re putting them to the side while you, on the other hand, believe you’re simply pursuing your goals.
Ultimately, this situation will push you to re-evaluate your actions and take accountability. You’ll need to confront both the person involved and your own approach to achieving your ambitions. While your ambition is commendable, there seems to be a lack of balance and intentionality in your plans. You’re moving quickly but without the structure or clarity needed to sustain your efforts.
This period of your life will be supercharged with energy and focus, but it will also require you to reflect on how you manage your time, relationships, and goals. Finding a better balance between ambition and personal connections will be crucial to moving forward in a more responsible and fulfilling way.
𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒆 2
An action-packed time is coming ahead for you, filled with passionate and driven energy. You may feel a strong desire to pursue things that make you feel free, youthful, and playful. This period brings a vibrant, positive energy to your life, and you’ll find yourself radiating charm, charisma, and warmth. People are drawn to you, enjoying your uplifting presence and good vibes.
You seem to be socializing more, engaging with different groups, and having spontaneous, meaningful interactions. Your warmth and friendliness make you approachable, and you may find yourself easily starting conversations and brightening others’ days. This positive energy likely stems from a sense of clarity entering your life. Situations that once seemed confusing are becoming clearer, allowing you to release recent worries and move forward with more confidence and understanding.
During this time, you may not be following a strict plan or focusing on long-term goals. Instead, you’re grounded in the present, allowing yourself to go with the flow and enjoy the moment. You’re taking a more fluid approach to life, observing and absorbing rather than rushing toward specific objectives. Your focus is more short-term—day by day or week by week—rather than planning for months or years ahead.
Even though you may not be chasing long-term goals, when you do have something you want, you go after it with determination and energy. Your current mindset allows you to take action without overthinking or obsessing over the details. Once you gain clarity, you’re quick to seize opportunities and take decisive steps forward.
However, you may also experience moments of emotional imbalance. While you’re uplifting others and radiating positivity, you might feel that the love, care, and tenderness you give aren’t always reciprocated. This can lead to some frustration or feelings of emotional vulnerability. As this is still a transitional stage in your life, some fragility remains. There may be days when you feel aimless, emotionally unbalanced, or unsure about the next steps in your journey.
Despite these small hurdles, this period is marked by growth and progress. You’re learning important lessons, gaining wisdom, and achieving greater emotional clarity. Though some days might feel challenging, your overall trajectory is toward a brighter, more positive future. This time is engaging, playful, and full of self-discovery, ultimately helping you take meaningful actions that align with the truths you uncover along the way.
𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒆 3
For this group, I see an opportunity on the horizon for you to restart and refresh a connection in your life. This could involve deepening an existing relationship or meeting someone new who brings warmth and fresh emotions into your life. Whether it’s a romantic interest, a crush, or even a meaningful friendship, you seem to be opening yourself up to more emotional and receptive connections in the near future. However, there is also an undercurrent of toxic energy that could complicate things.
This toxicity may stem from unresolved personal issues—either yours or theirs. For some, this new connection may start out lighthearted but shift toward something less healthy, such as a dynamic focused more on physical intimacy than emotional bonding. While there’s potential for reciprocity and warmth in the relationship, lingering toxic patterns from the past could resurface, impacting the connection.
Your current life circumstances might play a significant role here. You may be facing financial struggles, such as recent losses, overspending, or challenges in rebuilding your stability. For instance, you could have experienced a divorce, holiday spending, or job loss that left you feeling unsteady. These material and emotional concerns might weigh heavily on your ability to fully invest in this new connection.
The person entering your life seems to be sincere, kind, and giving. However, if you’re still dealing with unresolved wounds, depression, dissatisfaction, or instability, it might be difficult to reciprocate their energy. You may not feel ready to commit emotionally or consistently invest in the connection, which could create barriers. For example, you may find it hard to communicate regularly, meet in person, or form a stable bond. This could lead to frustration and prevent the relationship from fully flourishing.
There is also an underlying theme of self-dissatisfaction during this period. You may be struggling with self-love, fulfillment, and a sense of control in your life. Although this person brings warmth and nourishment into your life, they can’t fill the void of what you may be lacking internally. This could lead to emotional blockages that prevent you from fully opening up to the connection.
Despite these challenges, the person coming into your life appears understanding and willing to accommodate your current limitations. They may offer practical help, such as being flexible with plans or supporting you financially or emotionally when needed. However, it’s important to avoid taking advantage of their generosity. Instead, focus on using this time to grow, heal, and regain your stability.
This connection has potential, but its success depends on your ability to address personal toxic patterns, heal from past wounds, and regain emotional and material balance. Once you feel more secure within yourself, the relationship could become more balanced and fulfilling. For now, take this as an opportunity to reflect, heal, and allow yourself to grow into a healthier version of yourself so that you can build stronger, more stable connections in the future.
𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒆 4
For those in this group, an exciting opportunity is on the horizon. This could involve collaborating with someone on a shared goal, whether it’s a current partner, a new connection, or a professional or educational opportunity. You might find yourself planning or working alongside someone to create something meaningful, and this collaboration could bring a fresh start and positive momentum into your life.
However, I sense that you’re still tied to the past in some way. There may be lingering sadness or emotional energy surrounding something that hurt or disappointed you. It seems you’ve been dwelling on this past situation, feeling defeated or stuck, unable to fully let go. This emotional attachment has likely left you in a reflective, melancholic state, as you’re grappling with unresolved feelings or unanswered questions.
It appears that something from the past deeply impacted you—whether it was a loss, a breach of boundaries, or an experience that left you feeling wronged and hopeless. This emotional weight has carried into your present and may be clouding your ability to move forward. You might find yourself replaying moments, trying to fix or make sense of them, but ultimately remaining stuck in the same mental and emotional cycle.
Despite these challenges, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. An opportunity is approaching that will allow you to work with someone—whether it’s a person from your past or someone new—on a concrete goal. This collaboration could relate to your career, education, or even a shared project. If it’s someone from your past, it might be an opportunity to rebuild and strengthen that connection. If it’s a new person, they may offer support and help you solidify a goal you’ve been working toward. Either way, this opportunity is practical and tangible, and it holds the potential to bring you out of your current funk.
This new chapter will encourage you to release the burdens of the past. While the pain you’ve experienced may still linger, this collaboration or goal-oriented opportunity will give you a renewed sense of purpose. It could also serve as a reminder that brighter days are ahead and that you have the strength to rebuild. By engaging in this opportunity, you’ll begin to feel less stuck and stagnant and more motivated to move forward.
It’s clear that the past has weighed heavily on you, leaving you questioning whether good things are still possible. But the upcoming opportunities will help shift that perspective. You’ll start to see blessings and positive changes emerge, which will restore your hope and encourage you to believe in brighter possibilities. Though you’ve experienced a period of stagnation, grief, and heavy emotions, this is the time when things begin to turn around.
As you step into this new phase, you’ll find yourself letting go of what no longer serves you and embracing the potential for growth and healing. With the support and collaboration of others, you’ll rebuild and take meaningful steps toward your goals. This is a time of renewal, where the struggles of the past give way to hope, blessings, and the promise of a brighter future. Accept these blessings and allow yourself to move forward, leaving behind the dark times to embrace the opportunities and light ahead.

pretty privilege in academia
'pretty privilege' is the idea that people who are perceived as more attractive often receive more opportunities, attention, and rewards compared to those who are considered less attractive. this concept is not limited to social settings but also especially extends to (in) academic environments.
in academia, research has shown that physically attractive students tend to receive higher grades because they are perceived as more intelligent, even when their actual performance does not differ significantly from their less attractive peers. this bias can affect everything from classroom interactions to evaluations and recommendations, potentially influencing a student's academic trajectory.
the underlying reason for this phenomenon is the "physical attractiveness stereotype," which assumes that attractive individuals possess positive qualities such as intelligence, sociability, and competence. it leads to preferential treatment and better opportunities for those who are deemed attractive.
it's important to be aware of this bias and strive to treat everyone fairly, regardless of their appearance. while we can't always control how others perceive us, we can make a conscious effort to judge people based on their abilities and contributions rather than their looks.
now, there is no benefit in ignoring it - because it simply will always exist. instead, you can choose to take advantage of it.
why people take advantage of pretty privilege:
increased opportunities: leveraging your attractiveness can open doors to more opportunities that might not be as easily accessible otherwise.
positive perceptions: attractive individuals are often perceived more favorably, which can lead to better treatment and more support from your peers and instructors.
enhanced confidence: knowing that you are perceived positively can boost your confidence, making you more likely to engage and participate actively in academic settings.
competitive edge: in highly competitive environments, any advantage can make a significant difference. taking advantage of pretty privilege can provide an edge over others.
but you should never only rely on your appearance to get you further in life - it is only to play the same game.
if you're interested in enhancing your appearance, here are some tips to help you feel more confident and attractive. it's important to remember that beauty is subjective and varies from person to person, and self-confidence plays a significant role in how others perceive you.
skincare: have a daily routine (cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin. remember to use products suited to your skin type.) and apply sunscreen daily.
hair care: regularly maintain your hair, keeping it clean, well-trimmed, and styled in a way that suits your face shape and personal style. use conditioner and hair masks to keep your hair healthy and shiny.
oral hygiene: brush and floss your teeth daily to maintain a bright smile and fresh breath. visit the dentist regularly.
dress well: wear clothes that fit well and flatter your body shape. choose outfits that reflect your personal style and make you feel confident. dress appropriately for different occasions.
accessories: use accessories like jewelry, watches, and scarves to add a touch of elegance and build your outfits. ensure accessories complement your overall look without overpowering it.
physical health: engage in regular physical activity to stay fit and healthy. exercise can improve your posture and boost your confidence. eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains to support your health and appearance. drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and glowing.
attitude: a genuine smile can make you appear more approachable and attractive. maintain good posture, make eye contact, and use confident body language.
social skills: improve your communication skills to connect better with others. show genuine interest in others and practice empathy in your interactions. charisma and behavior can make or break appearing attractive.
remember! enhancing your appearance should be about making yourself feel good and confident, rather than solely seeking external validation. what you find attractive and enjoy should come before what other people like.

Addressing the Recent Changes to TSR's Artist Program
Hi everyone,
I’m writing today to address the recent changes to TSR's Artist Program and the concerns that have been raised by members of our community. We understand that these changes have caused a lot of frustration, confusion, and disappointment. We want to provide full transparency about why these decisions were made, how they affect our current and future artists, and what this means for the TSR community moving forward.
Firstly, I want to apologise for the way the restructuring of the Artist Program was handled. I acknowledge that the communication our artists initially received could have been better. It was always our intention to follow up with support, feedback, and advice, which we are doing now. The communications for a loss of badge at TSR is structured, and I understand how this has created confusion and hurt. Please know that we are committed to maintaining an open line of communication with these former artists, we have been following up with all artists affected, and we will continue to support them in any way we can.
Why These Changes Were Necessary
TSR’s Artist Program, which has been home to nearly 200 talented paid artists, had not undergone a thorough evaluation in years. This lack of oversight led to a situation where the program became financially unstable and exposed to significant risk. Without proper management and planning in previous years, the program was not sustainable. If we hadn’t addressed these risks, it would have jeopardised the long-term viability of the program, threatening our ability to fairly compensate artists and sustain the community that depends on their creativity.
It’s also important to highlight that these financial constraints had prevented us from inviting new artists, promoting Select Artists or increasing pay for current artists, leaving over 100 talented creators waiting for up to 3 years for an opportunity to advance. 120 Artists have now finally been promoted, rewarded and acknowledged for their outstanding contribution to TSR, but unfortunately their achievements have been overshadowed by information spreading online.
Why This Was Done
The changes we implemented were not easy, nor were they taken lightly. The difficult decision to let some artists go was made to ensure that the program could continue to operate sustainably and support the 120+ artists who remain with us. Many of these artists rely on TSR for their livelihood, with some coming from countries where the additional support they receive from TSR is vital.
As part of our thorough evaluation process, we assessed the performance of each artist by analysing the value they brought to the platform relative to the investment made in their work. This included reviewing metrics such as engagement with their content per dollar spent. We deeply appreciate the work of our artists, but the financial outcomes unfortunately did not align with the investments that were being made, and we had to make difficult decisions based on these findings to ensure the overall sustainability of the program. In doing so, we were able to fairly compensate all remaining Artists.
Addressing Misinformation
We want to address the misinformation that has been spreading online. Some are claiming that more artists were let go than actually were. In reality, a number of the artists included in these rumors were not let go—they left on their own terms a few months ago. Furthermore, several of the artists who were let go had been inactive for longer than the agreed period and were fully aware of the terms they had agreed to. Some of the named Artists are actually still with us, and have been caught up in this for no reason at all other than by assumptions or a lack of research. It’s important to clarify that this is not a traditional job where someone is “fired.” TSR is a user-generated content platform that compensates artists generously based on their performance on our site.
Spreading incorrect information hurts the 120+ artists who are still part of our community. These creators have continued to pour their time, talent, and passion into their work, and they deserve your support too.
The communications with the former artists ensured they would still be paid for all remaining works they have done with us. It also included that if circumstances ever change, they would always be welcome back as an artist. We do not forget the hard work that has been done, and we do care.
Looking to the Future
Our evaluation process was thorough and took into account numerous factors, including each artist's contribution, consistency, quality of work, and the community's engagement with their creations. We are committed to maintaining a program that is fair, transparent, and supportive of our artists.
Moving forward, we will continue to refine the program to ensure it remains financially viable while fostering the incredible creativity of our artists, to prevent situations like this from happening again. We are also dedicated to providing a community where artists can thrive, receive the recognition they deserve, and be part of a vibrant, supportive environment.
Conclusion
This has been a challenging period for everyone involved, but we believe these changes were necessary to secure the future of TSR’s Artist Program. We remain committed to our artists, our community, and the values that TSR stands for. We hope you will continue to support our artists as we work to build a sustainable and thriving platform for creators.
Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your dedication to the TSR community.
Sincerely, Queenie, Creative Ops Manager, The Sims Resource

Hyper Light Breaker - Early Access Coming Early 2025
Hey everyone,
We’re so grateful to all the members of the community who have expressed ongoing support and enthusiasm for Hyper Light Breaker’s Steam Early Access launch. After much evaluation and many conversations with our publisher Arc Games, we’ve decided that we need just a little more time to get the gameplay experience polished to our standards.
Therefore, we’re now looking at an Early Access launch date of very early next year.
We don’t want to ship a project, even in Early Access, that we’re not satisfied with on a number of fronts. Especially in the current state of the industry, we need to put as good a foot forward as we can.
As always, we believe in maintaining a sustainable pace of development for our team, which means taking care of the mental and physical health needs of everyone first, rather than burning the team out trying to hit a specific set launch date. This will enable the team to offer better, more responsive support to community feedback during the Early Access period itself.
Trust that we REALLY want to put Breaker out there, and see people engage with a game that we’ve all worked so hard on. However, we also REALLY need to make sure that the core foundational units of the game are as strong as they can be, so that we can build on them during the Early Access period. In the meantime, we are confirmed to be showing Breaker at multiple events to get your feedback as we continue getting Breaker ready for Early Access launch! We’ll have a demo of Breaker at PlayNYC + AnimeNYC in New York City, XOXO in Portland, and Media Indie Exchange in Seattle. We’re also currently planning additional public demos at DreamHack in Atlanta and MAGFest in Maryland. So, if you absolutely can’t wait to get your hands on the game when it launches in Early Access, you can at least catch us out in the wild at these events and give us feedback on how the game is shaping up so far!
Thank you everyone for your continued support of our games and the people who make them.
For the most up-to-date info on Hyper Light Breaker and our other projects, follow us on social media or jump in our Discord.
