Oh my god it 100% is Dieter in Below the Line! Like Mr. Darcy crossed with Westley from The Princess Bride. Production designer goes as is his date to the premiere OR the Oscar's and someone catches her looking like a cartoon character - tongue rolling out to the floor like and fruit rollup - when she sees his completed look for the first time. I can totally see Dieter sneakily unbottoning an extra button or two over the course of the evening just to mess with her. She adores the curls and 100% has to hold herself back from ruining them.

She's normally immune to costuming, especially after getting desensitized on set. She loves Dieter in all the ways he dresses up or down (or not at all). But when she's waiting for him to come out on the red carpet and catches that first glimpse it's magic. The way the light hits him he's glowing. He catches her eye and puffs up because his girl is looking at him like that and he can't help but feel a little powerful. And he 100% unbuttons that button while looking straight at her. There's a GIF somewhere of a paparazzi spinning to find who he's eyefucking and her staring agape at him. It becomes a popular reaction meme whenever he's looking especially fuckable in the tabloids. She only minds a little, because once they're out of sight he's bustling her somewhere he can fuck her hard and fast against a wall before going out to accept his award with even more mussed-up curls.
