DC Legacy

The basic premise of this is that the time has come for older heroes to step down and the next generation take their place. A few weeks ago it was unclear if she would ever get to have these kinds of moments again and Emmy was very grateful to be able to create new memories with all of her family. "Maybe I should change my name to Mary Sanderson. Instead of being able to smell children I get to smell delicious treats. Though I will share my muffin with you. What does all that entail?" Emmy wanted to know what she was getting herself into before agreeing to horse therapy.

Lena smiled softly as a soft hum escaped her. While true that her daughter took a lot from her she also had traits from her father. The one she was most like. "It'll be fine. We are all crazy some of us, meaning you, hide it better." She tousled with her little sister's hair as she did when they were younger. "I can never hide treats from you. Impossible. You have a hound dog nose for treats. I did. Latest batch made for the November menu going live tomorrow." As things went new menus and desserts flipped November 2nd. "Your favorite of course. I did bring it to make you happy. You know, we could sign up for therapy with the horses if you feel up to it."

"Ridiculous? I think you mean absolutely legendary. Getting to see friends does sound like fun. No crepes? I'm assuming that means no croissants either?" Emerson loved her croissants, especially the ones she had for breakfast in Europe."If my assumption is correct I want ring the shame bell after you." Growing up she had always looked up to her older siblings and continued to do so as an adult. "Yes he's pretty cool. If you're still looking for ways to bug him, bring him some Butter Pecan Ice cream. Though you didn't hear it from me."

"I was just making sure you have seen it. The moment I saw Hans appear on my screen I knew he was sneaky. What's your favorite Disney movie? Marvel not included." Hers was a tie between The Parent Trap and The Princess Diaries. Of course her favorite fall movie was Hocus Pocus. To start off her spooky season she would watch the Sanderson Sister and Binx."Someone will think you're worth trouble. Who knows could be my Nana." Emerson teased. "Do you mind helping me out of here? I think I overdid it with all that swimming" She lifted her hand with the intension of dragging him into the water. If Aj took it, he should have known better. One of her negative traits was she never asked for help even if she clearly needed it.

Aj simply chuckled at the girl, "Please make sure you run that trend by my mother first. She'll have my head if I start a trend with something ridiculous," he explained. Aj shrugged, "I did enjoy some of my time there. I have a few friends who live over there so went out a few times with them, made the trip a bit more bearable but I didn't indulge on crepes, unfortunately. I've been eating like crap far too often as of late, need to be better about watching what's going into my body." Aj listened as Emmy had confessed to harbouring a crush on him during her younger years. "Probably to bug JJ, I think that's one of the first stops I made - the Hewitt ranch, anytime I came back. He was cool, even then," he offered as a potential reasoning.

His mouth quirked into a smile before releasing a light laugh, "Of course, I've watched Frozen. Attended the premiere for that with some cousins." Aj couldn't help but let another chuckle escape his lips. "I promise you, I wasn't worth the trouble then - granted, I'm still not worth the trouble now - but wow, is it a Hewitt gene to think I'm attractive or something? I've seen the way Nana looks at me. I just respect Pop Pop too much," he semi-joked. The older woman had definitely looked in his direction more than once and he was amused each time. He still had it. Whatever it was.
