Recently saw the phrase "double-blind" in my psych textbook and it made me think of double-black. And then I thought of some more variations, so now i'm making it yall's problem.

I also did a little comic for "double-bind" but I'll post that separately

Ah yes, the pivotal moment where Mori convinces Dazai to not give up, effectively beginning Double Black.

I'm back with another update! And this one is Double Black focused! I'm actually almost done with the Stormbringer portion, which is kinda sad cause it's been such a hell of a ride analyzing Stormbringer. From the introduction to Verlaine, to Chuuya's experimentation and belief in his humanity, to the developing trust between Chuuya and Dazai, it really has been one hell of a ride.

Up next will be the Dragon Head incident (which hopefully won't be 40+ pages 😵‍💫), then the 22 arc! So exciting! Page count is currently 54 pages, with Stormbringer being the monster section. I don't think the other arcs will be as long, Stormbringer just has a lot to cover about Dazai and Chuuya on a Double Black level and an individual level.

Back to work then! I'll provide another update next Sunday, until then! (Maybe I'll post another theory if my brain has a realization)

dazai, taken aback: no, of course not.

chuuya: how are you so sure it’s not a feeling, dazai.

dazai, undeterred: because slug, when, pray tell, was the last time I had one of those.
