Divine Symbols and Sacred Lineages: The Ark, Aaron's Rod, and Jesus' Levitical Connection
In ancient Israel, the Ark of the Covenant, a representation of God’s presence, was considered the most sacred object in the Tabernacle. In my ministry I reveal that God used it as a subliminal message, a subliminal God, especially in 1 Samuel 4 when the Philistines captured it. Before they captured it, they called it "God." And had full knowledge that He was the one who sent the 10 plagues on the Egyptians. When they captured Him, The Father sent the Bubonic Plague to free His son. (1 Samuel 5:6) "Let my Son go!" We just had COVID-19.
Why Only the Levites?
The Levites were chosen by God to serve as His priests and caretakers of the Tabernacle. In Numbers 3:5-10, God commanded Moses to set apart the tribe of Levi specifically for the service of the Tabernacle, including the responsibility of carrying and tending to the Ark of the Covenant. This rule was repeated in 1 Chronicles 15:2 by David. Their role was vital in preserving the spiritual purity and reverence surrounding the holy things, especially the Ark of the Covenant, which was a subliminal message of God's presence.
The Power of the Ark:
The Ark of the Covenant was more than just a symbol of God's presence—it was a vessel through which His power was revealed. Throughout Israel’s history, the Ark demonstrated miraculous signs and wonders. In Joshua 3:15-17, the waters of the Jordan River parted when the Ark, carried by the Levites, entered the water, allowing the Israelites to cross on dry ground. Similarly, in Exodus 14:16 we see God instruct Moses to raise his staff (rod) over the Red Sea, causing it to part and allowing the Israelites to escape from Egypt.
Comparison with the Rod of Moses and Aaron:
The Ark was carried by the Levites, and Aaron's rod, representing God's chosen leadership, was kept inside of it as a sign of divine choice. In Numbers 17:8,God caused Aaron’s rod to bud, miraculously sprouting blossoms and almonds, confirming Aaron’s Levitical priestly role. Moses and Aaron were both Levites and I have had conversations with two different Christians unsure as to whether these rods were one and the same or not. So, ide like to clear this up, because it's a rather important breadcrumb.
It is clear that Aarons rod is the rod that performed signs and wonders while rescuing the Israelites from Egypt. To name a few, in Exodus 7:10-12, Aaron used the rod to perform the first miracle in front of Pharaoh. The rod turns into a serpent; however, it was not the first time the rod had turned into a serpent. InExodus 8:5-6, Aaron used the rod to strike the dust of the ground, which then turns into gnats throughout Egypt. And again, in Exodus 9:23-24, Aaron used the rod to bring about the seventh plague, hail.
This rod is the same rod that Moses had, which turned into a viper when he threw it on the ground. (Exodus 4:3) Moses was told to take that rod into Egypt with him. (Exodus 4:17) We don't necessarily see Moses hand Aaron the rod, but we know God told him to take that rod with him.
Again, this rod that performed signs and wonders turned into a viper and was later placed inside the Ark of the Covenant. A subliminal message, that the Levitical stick, the chosen stick, would later turn into a snake. It would later be in the Viper's hand. We see this take place in Ezekiel 37, when the Levitical stick is in the hand of Ephraim, whose God is the God "FROM" the land of Egypt.
Comparison with Jesus:
Just like the Ark and the rod showed God's power, God demonstrated His power through Jesus. In Exodus 8:19, the Egyptian magicians say that the plagues are 'the finger of God.' Jesus refers to this idea in Luke 11:20: 'But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.'"
This power was usually linked to the Levitical rod and Ark. How could Jesus demonstrate this same power? Was Jesus a Levite? Some say no, because He came from the tribe of Judah, as did both Joseph and Mary. Yet, after Jesus died, what do we find inside His tomb? We see two angels, one at the head and one at the foot, (John 20:12) just like on top of the Ark of the Covenant. (Exodus 25:19) Jesus laid his body down on the Ark. How was He able to do so if He was not a Levite?
Jesus' Levitical Linage:
Was Jesus a Levite? How was He able to touch the Ark? Yes, He was. Jesus was a Levite, He had spiritual gifts. He was a Levite through Mary. Elizebeth and Mary's mothers were probably sister. Elisabeth and her father were from a priestly heritage, and the law was perfectly kept. (Luke 1:5-6) Meaning: her father as a Levitical priest would have married a virgin Levite, as the law commanded. (Leviticus 21:13-14) This means: Mary's cousin Elisabeth was a FULL-BLOODED LEVITE.
Mary's father, however, was not a Levite. In ancient Israel, tribal affiliation came through the father not the mother. Mary’s father was from the tribe of Judah. The genealogy as listed in the Gospel of Matthew is believed to be that of Joseph, while rhe genealogy presented in the Gospel of Luke, is argued to be that of Mary, both of which are the linage of Judah.
Still, how was this woman from the tribe of Judah kin to a FULL-BLOODED Levite? Her Mother. Mary's mother WAS A LEVITE. Those in the tribe of Judah were not commanded to marry within their tribe. Mary's dad had every legal right to marry outside of his tribe. He married a Levite. Implying that these two women, their mothers were mostly like sisters. Making Jesus A LEVITE.
In conclusion, the Ark of the Covenant and the Levitical rod both represented God's power. Both Levitical breadcrumbs. The connection between Jesus and these symbols reveals a deeper layer of understanding. Although Jesus was from the tribe of Judah, He too was a Levite, giving Him the ability to house the same divine power associated with the Ark and the rod. An Elect member.

Mentioned this in passing the other day but there’s a half formed story in my head about a goddess who forcemascs her followers and I can’t stop thinking about it.
Taking a girl who’s quiet and hurting and visibly uncomfortable in her skin and calling her into Her service. It’s overwhelming being in a goddess’s presence, let alone having Her attention focused on her. It feels euphoric. She holds her face in Her hands and tells her She knows what that feeling in her chest is and She can help. You’ll have to give your old life up, completely, but things will be so much better with Her. All you have to do is serve as Her knight, and you can be Hers and feel this way forever.
Becoming a man is just a symbol of his devotion. It’s an expression of how thoroughly he is Hers. He kneels before Her and kisses Her feet and trembles when She deigns to caress his face. His body is a gift from Her. She uses it as She likes.

Take me to the docks, there is a ship without a name there And it is sailing to the middle of the sea The water there is deeper than anything you've ever seen Jump right in and swim until you're free

The figure at the center isn't Jinx. The figure isn't wearing the right shirt, she's missing Jinx's cloud smoke tattoos, and you can see her dark hair under the blue hair reach her back as it falls in front of her arm and behind her shoulder.
Tumblr media
While the braids are black and white to imply that is the figure's actual hair, it's sprayed on blue like the rest of the youths in the background, because she is like them. The figure at the center is just another kid in the crowd, and they've essentially been designed like they're wearing a Jinx wig, all the kids are.
The artist for this mural is showing that anyone can be like Jinx as long as you want to fight for Zaun. Jinx represents an ideology that these kids choose to embody in both style and action. They're united in blue in their rebellion.

Symbols of Demeter: cranes, wheat ears, winged serpent, cornucopia, torches, crocus, myrtle, bees, the bull, the pig, honey.
Demeter arrives to her sacred Eleusis with her winged chariot carried by flying dragons, she will later on give this chariot as a present to the hero Triptolemus. This flying serpentine power seems wondrous; can we talk about a forgotten advanced ancient technology involved, or is it a symbol for the serpentine power also known as Shakti or Kundalini... From her realm that is earth the goddess seems to rise.

ok but like, Modest!Alicent Hightower au (more modest than she already is) cause I feel like it, it adds ✨layers✨
Alicent who veils her hair during her day to day life, elegant laces and silks adorning her long ginger-brown hair, covering it completely at the Sept.
Alicent who wears dresses with long heavy skirts and always covers her elbows with billowing sleeves.
Alicent who conceals her silhouette with thick shaping garments. they also just helped her back during her pregnancies and taking care of kids (her servants recommended them so she'd have full range of motion and support)
Alicent who was stripped of her modesty, her dignity and sense of security whenever Viserys wanted her. stripped of it by her own father when he sent her to Viserys's chambers in a dress that didn't cover as much as she would have liked, especially when she visited a man with those (silent) instructions.
Alicent who lets her hair down around people she trusts. covering it around Rhaenyra after she abandoned her, a blow to Rhaenyra, a blatant "you hurt me and broke my trust". letting Criston see her hair after he becomes her sworn sword. covering in front of Viserys until he demands she stops. Alicent putting a little makeshift veil on her daughter, who wanted to look like her mum, promising it would protect her from how loud the world was.
Alicent who only trusts her closest servants to dress her, and even then insists on being in a full shift before they can come in.
Alicent who felt stripped bare while giving birth to her children.
little Alicent looking up to her mum who was also very modest, and spending her childhood playing in long skirts.
Alicent who wears shawls and scarves out in public or at events. Criston watches to make sure she remains properly covered. her hands fiddling with the patterns or tassels while she talks to others.
Alicent doing this with her kids:
Tumblr media
Criston offering her his cloak when she's put in bad situations like sudden crowds or outings.
wearing flowy but opaque fabrics during the summers, looking ethereal and goddess-like with her layers skirts and sleeves.
the whole Larys situation being even more sickening.
all 3 of her sons being protective of her modesty alongside Criston, always offering their cloaks to her or standing to block her from the wind or wandering eyes. Aegon holding her veil in place when it's windy, Aemond placing a cloak over her in public, Daeron fiercely defending his mum from lusting glances or lingering stares.
Helaena continuing to veil with her mum when they go out, they love matching veils and trying ornate styles.
Alicent fixing her daughters veil in attempts to get it to stay in on dragon back. it doesn't. but they don't mind the extra bonding time none the less.
gold veils that literally make her look like she's dripping in gold.
tucking her babes in her shawls or holding them against her skirts that are practically swallowing them whole.
Alicent collecting layers. Ornate undergarments that cover her arms in gold and embroidered patterns, some almost like tapestries others more simple. undershirts that cover her neck, with "choker" patterns and sewn in jewels. modest nightgowns and robes made of the softest, most breathable fabrics in existence.
covering her face on holy days/days of importance.
I just have so many thoughts.

seeing a speedrun of botw all dungeons and even like that .... its so strange how soulless totk feels to me when botw didnt, allthough it feels much flatter to me now since i know there wasnt any thought put into the things i thought were meaningful and that it will go nowhere in the end
and yet still it feels like its got soul that totk just hasnt; botw is far from perfect, like everything really, but totk to me really feels like a clunky grind game with no trust in the player at all, be it puzzles or 'story', and a fundamental missunderstanding of why botws world design and structure worked well as a whole in the end
i honestly still cant quite understand how on earth botw got totk as its 'sequel', all the things that needed work in botw where neglected or made worse totk while it also failed to follow up on literally anything in a meaningful way- when i still think the changes it needed where so OBVIOUS and the directions to follow up and expand on things to enhance not just the sequel but also botw in retrospect where so plenty and ready for the taking, it hurts me still even to think about it not being done and everything really being actively thrown away for NOTHING or things that make it AND botw WORSE in retrospect instead
i wont ever be able to forgive that, and some part of me hopes that this is the worst that they will ever do so at least we will get better games again in the future
