2024/11/19 曇り空ではあるけれど

前日の夜勤明けは雲ひとつない青空だったのに休みはやっぱり曇り空。

それでも雨は無さそうだったので午前中にやることを済ませ、午後からは小さな展望台まで少しだけ山登り。150m程しか登らないので山登りというよりもハイキングかな。

小さながっかりが日々積み重なっていて心が重い。ぐるっとまわる間に小さな展望台が２つあって、２個目の展望台に着く頃には少しだけ青空が見えた。

雲間から落ちる太陽の光が海面を照らしていてとても美しかった。

Hello Nalyra, why do you think Louis was so calm about Armand tearing pages from Claudia's diaries? What did he think was in them?

Was he? Calm, I mean?

And, to be precise, the torn out pages are the ones Louis tore out... the cut out pages, that was (more than) likely Armand.

That's insinuated in 1x07, when Daniel remarks on it. Louis then wants to read them again, at the end of 2x01, and Armand says this:

"I'll have Rashid assemble the pages removed."

But... they never are. In fact, the missing pages are not addressed - not really - throughout the rest of the season, except when Armand admits to taking them out to "protect himself"... and when Daniel says if there's anything else.

But we... don't really learn what's in them.

And in a show like this? That's no coincidence.

Now, Louis says he knows what's in the pages, but the way he asks there makes me believe that he does not really know. Or wishes to confirm something, and that he actually addresses that he misremembers and makes mistakes there with Armand in 2x01.

He was "calm" as you put it because it's been done, and it's... a touchy subject.

If it weren't, they'd just offered Daniel the pages. But they did not.

So Louis is not calm there, imho, he is careful.

Because Armand does get quite emotional about it, as the scene in 2x06 showed. And Armand only seems to know where the pages are.

So whatever these pages contain... will make a big difference for something or someone.

And we have not seen that - yet.
