Dear Ed

I just remembered that Stede wrote in one of his letters to Ed something like (I’m not sure that this is a direct quote), “I know the chances of this finding you are slim, but so were the odds of us finding each other in the first place”.

And it makes me cry to think about how they beat the odds again, and found each other a second time. If Ed ever gets that note, he’s gonna cry, too.

supernatural movie reboot but its a ghostfacers mockumentary about their attempt to make a “serious film” about sam and dean winchester. opens on ed and harry going “CUT!” and the camera pans to a guy that looks kind of like jared padalecki pulling off a party city wig. turns out the finale was actually part of the ghostfacer’s retelling of supernatural. Sam Dean and Castiel spend the entire movie chasing after ed and harry trying to stop the thing being made. (its a huge commercial success and they screen it at the destiel wedding)

just got home from school and logged on while eating a snack??? why tf was i doing that whats my issue? i barely even thought about it until i was scrolling thru th1nsp0s and immediately felt so guilty. i ate at lunch today, not all of it, but i still did. and my teacher brought in these peppermint brownies for my table group because we won last weeks competition. and i fucking ate one. what is WRONG with me?? i should NOT be eating voluntarily, only when i cant get away with not. no more today aside from what i have to at dinner. and nothing at school tomorrow.

you ever just think about how truly sweet stede is on ed. takes him on a treasure hunt because he thinks he’ll enjoy it. busts down his own door because ed’s upset and says he’s ed’s friend when ed says he has none. learns how he takes his tea. sets two places at his breakfast table every morning. gently but firmly insists ed stand down when he’s angry and hurt and goes to deal with ed’s tormenters himself. reassures him he’s sophisticated when ed is being hard on himself, and tells him he wears fine things well with the biggest sparkliest warmest smile. lip-wobble cries when ed leaves with jack, and beams like the sun when he comes back. watches ed’s fuckery excitedly like it’s the best thing he’s ever seen, and suggests the theatre of fear as a name for it. he’s so enthralled by ed, so obviously falling in love, and it’s never any less of a joy to watch.

Can't help but imagine that in the Lucky Clover AU, if Frisk were to manage to sneak away and end up befriending Undyne and the skelebros whilst everyone in the Dunes is probably having a panic attack (maybe Flowey caused a distraction or something, like some scaffolding collapsing causing everyone to focus on figuring out how that happened, giving Frisk the ability to sneak away), by the time Martlet finds them they've already managed to make the Underground a bit safer for at least themself.

Doesn't stop them from being grounded though-

That's exactly the plot set up I had in mind for this AU!

Even though Frisk is under very strict rules by Clover to not leave the Dunes without them, Frisk is constantly wandering off (perhaps influenced by a certain someone...) and exploring the other parts of the Underground. This is how Frisk eventually meets Papyrus, Sans, Undyne, Alphys, and others! And yes, Frisk is always grounded by Clover once they're eventually found and brought home. Doesn't stop them from sneaking out again, though. Clover is getting a taste of their own medicine trying to control this kid LOL.
