10 Tips to Integrate English Learning Into Your Routine
If you are an English learner who is looking for ways to hone your skills and integrate English learning into your daily routine, then you have come to the right place. With these 10 tips, you can incorporate these tactics into your beginnerās studies and make English learning a habit that comes as naturally as brushing your teeth.
Set a schedule ā and stick to it: The best way to make sure youāre consistently learning English is by setting up a study plan that works for your lifestyle. Whether you prefer studying in the morning or after work, make sure you have time set aside specifically for English practice every day. With discipline, consistency and dedication, you will soon start to see improvements in your language skills.
Listen and repeat: Listening is an important part of learning any language. Try to listen to native English speakers as much as possible ā this can be through audio recordings, movies or TV shows, podcasts, etc. As you listen, take notes on new words, phrases and pronunciation. Then, try to repeat what you heard aloud as this will help with pronunciation as well as confidence in speaking English.
Read everything: Reading is one of the most powerful tools when it comes to learning any language - even if youāre just a beginner. Start with shorter texts such as articles, blog posts or non-fiction books, and then gradually move on to longer texts such as novels or short stories. As you read, take notes of any words or phrases that you donāt understand and look them up later.
Play language learning games: Language learning can be fun and rewarding. There are a variety of online English games and apps that can help you learn in a more creative way. From word quizzes to hangman, these games can help to make English learning more interactive and engaging.
Make notes: Whether itās new vocabulary or phrases you come across during movies or conversations with native English speakers, jot down any unfamiliar words and look up their meaning later. This can help you to expand your knowledge of the English language and remember words more easily.
Talk with native speakers: One of the best ways to improve your conversational skills is by talking with native English speakers. You can find these people online through forums or social media, or in real life at meet-ups or language exchange events. Talking with native speakers will help to increase your fluency and confidence when speaking English. You can also look into non fiction books for beginners for learning a language.
Use mnemonics: Mnemonics are memory devices that can be used to remember information more easily. For example, if you want to remember the spelling of a particular word, create a sentence using the letters of that word as its components. This will help you recall the word and its meaning more easily.
Watch movies: Watching movies is a great way to learn English, as it provides an immersive experience that you canāt get from any other medium. Try to watch movies in their original version (i.e., with subtitles) and observe how words are used in various contexts and situations.
Find a language buddy: Learning something new is always more enjoyable with a friend and language buddies are people who are willing to help you practice your English skills for free. You can find them online or in person, and they can be a great source of support and motivation when learning any language. Plus, itās always nice to have someone to practice with.
Have fun: Learning a language does not have to be tedious or boring. Incorporate activities that you enjoy into your learning routine, such as listening to music in English, watching comedy shows or playing word games with friends. Having fun while learning will make the entire process more enjoyable and rewarding.
By following these steps, youāll go from a beginner to experienced English speaker in no time. So make sure to keep these tips in mind and get started on your language-learning journey today with https://www.bbbg.org/.

Weāve been Going Through It for weeks and weeks now and some things may be clarifying. Weāll see.
In a fit of Mood last night over (detailed context redacted) I decided weāre just going to become that family that speaks conversational Latin. So Iāve been throwing out what small vocabulary I have thatās relevant to a household (and not Mass) at every opportunity.
I am richly rewarded because almost-2yo is at that stage where she will joyfully repeat anything.
#my big kids are just groaning because Mom Is On Some Linguistic Kick Again#listen kids early pregnancy is unusually hard on me and after descending into the agonies for weeks and weeks#when I start to come out of it I have to reinvent every wheel I have#itās just part of the process#and we havenāt been doing any of our language learning inā¦ I donāt even want to count#because of Trials and Tribulations#anyway. Iām just a frustrated shouldāve-beenāclassicist who needs a daily routine refresh#my life#my homeschooling tag#ignore me Iām processing externally into the void#anyway Latin Through Stories isnāt even finished and itās still the best Latin program for kids out there. if you want to know

Hi Tumblr! My fiancƩe (@lulifelog) said I should create a tumblr blog, so I dicided to try it out.
My name is LuĆ£ (pronounced luh-an; calling me suugakusei, rage or anything else is fine), I'm an applied mathematics major from Brazil and a japanese student, currently on the JLPT N3 grind. I love studying and playing videogames, I have a lot of interest in japanese culture and language and I intend in working in tech in a few years. Mathematics is my life, and the epiphany of solving a good problem is my favorite feeling.
This blog is where I'll share my studying process and lifestyle, as well as some thing about my daily life, all along some cute pictures I might try to take (emphasis on "try") and maybe some music recommendations. So, if you have interest in that, I'll see you on your dash :)
I would also like to get to know some japanese speakers, because immersion is everything. ć§ćÆćtumblrć®ę„ę¬čŖć話ćäŗŗćć”ććććć!
Today I had a nice little moment of comfortable japanese study.
I'm at the end of my university's summer break, so I'm free to do whathever. I try to study as much as possible, but the thought of spending hours mashing buttons on Guilty Gear is always a tease.
Just when I decided to catch up with my vocabulary Anki deck, a light rain started to pour, which makes studying the best. So I made some coffee, lighted an incense stick, put on Lamp's album Yume, a gorgeous and somewhat-strange piece of japanese jazz-pop, and got to work.
I always try to write my kanji as beautifully as possible, and I think today I managed to draw some nice characters. Nothing like getting a kanji to look just right.
ē¼ć (yaku), to burn
ē¾©ē (giri), honor
ééć (machigai), mistake
Japanese language students tend to dislike or even hate kanji because of the amount of work it tends to take to memorize them, including readings and stroke order. Despite that, it's my favorite aspect of the language. I just find them very beautiful and interesting, as the idea of a character that not only expresses sound but also an idea is very foreign to my strictly-phonetic mother language. Also, knowing a lot of them gives you bragging rights, which can't be bad.
As I was wrapping up the session, the Lamp album ended, so I played King Gnu's album Ceremony, which is an awesome alternative j-rock album with amazing melodies. It's also from the same band that composed one of the Jujutsu Kaizen openings, so some of you might be familiar. Their whole discography is worth checking out.
And that was all for today. I think I'll play some Persona 3 right now, even though I feel I should study more, as I always do. But I'm on my break, right? Nothing wrong with having some fun.
Have a good one everybody :)

Being unemployed and out of school in your early 20s is so weird. like I'm free I'm trapped time isn't real but neither is bedtime I'm making food from scratch I'm sweating over the price of groceries I'm entirely outside the rhythm of humanity while only now starting to see how it works. I'm living I'm dying I'm holding together my mental health with duct tape and one nice thing a person said to me 5 months ago I am running out of shredded cheese. yknow?
#voidrambles#posting in the vague hope someone else will Know because it's starting to feel like I'm the only one my age not Doing Something#''just get a job lmao'' look me dead in my eyes and say that again. ill kill u#(<- has been trying to since January)#anyway.#learning that it takes an absolutely herculean effort to connect with anyone when I have no daily routine that involves seeing the same ppl#the effort it takes to schedule things regularly or even just talk to people purposefully online without an obligation in common is#so much more than is sustainable to fill all my social needs#and I have never been a person with a high level of social needs#this is a temporary situation for me but it does make me wonder how many other people are similarly isolated#just by virtue of most of the adult world being too busy to create more community spaces other than jobs

Nothing in my life has ever tasted as good as how I imagine cartoon meat that looks like this tastes
#talking tag#orv groundrat meat and yanaspleta stem#literally the only type of meat they eat in one piece#it's funny how in orv when kdj makes bbq skewers they all look like this but when yjh makes skeweres they look like normal ass skewers with#vegetables and everything#it's yjh the only person who has any culinary sense? the real answer is no. kdj is actually capable in the kitchen. the funnier answer is#that yjh was so fed up with being the only person in the universe to have taste buds and maybe a normal sized mouth that he spent an entire#regression turn learning how to perfect his cooking [this part at least is canon] just so he could convince at least one of his companions#to raise their standards and stop eating barely-choppedā unseasonedā straight off the bone monster meat#i think yjh would refuse to eat an apple unless it was peeled and sliced into cubes with little toothpicks#he wouldnt touch a sandwich until you passed it through a panini press#maybe it has something to do with diligence and intentionally putting effort into something often overlooked#its a lot of effort to cook delicious meals when the world is quite literally falling apart and reshaping itself but in a situation where#he doesnt even have control over his own deathā he can only treat what he does have control over with the utmost diligence#cooking and eating goodā healthyā SAFE food is something that is entirely hisā i think#he doesnt need it to survive like fighting. its not a relic of his past that has lost its application like gaming. its a routineā a ritual#repeated daily#something that you do every day and by continuing to do it you create things that are more and more enjoyable. something that makes people#smile and feel satiated. something that gets everyone to sit close and share the joy of a single moment. a single meal#is it possible to get tired of that after repeating it so many times? every day? every day every month every year every turn#why doesnt he eat food made by other people?#because its not delicious#and the dumplings?#those were made by someone he loved. someone he loved put their time into mizing the filling and shaping the dough#someone he loves wants him to be safe and fed. and offered him dumplings that they made#was it delicious?

Iāve said it before and Iāll say it again. People need to become more comfortable with making bad art, and people need to be more comfortable with accepting that their art isnāt good. Iām sorry, but sometimes art looks objectively bad (at least as far as the artist is unable to conceive of their artistic vision), and instead of constantly handwaving negativity and brushing critical feelings under the rug people need to develop skills to cope with and progress from those feelings. The VAST majority of art āadviceā I see pass across my dash is really just art positivity, where the takeaway isnāt any valuable information, but rather an admonishment for not being kind enough to themselves and corrections you can make to your behavior. It sidesteps the problem āI am unfamiliar with artā and jumps right to addressing the symptom āI feel bad Iām unable to create what I want to createā. Instead of working to improve artistic skill and familiarity with creative tools, it tells the reader that they need to work to re-think their conception of artistic quality. There should be space for both of those conversations but they donāt exist to the exclusion of the other. Most art spaces online attempt to create an encouraging space through enforcement of post-over rules and discouraging critical feedback, but inadvertently creates incentives for people to write insubstantial filler so they can post their own work which discourages people whoās art isnāt as impressive or noteworthy because all of their feedback is platitudes. Art communities are consumed by a fear of alienating beginners, but falsely believe that beginners will be alienated by critical feedback and donāt realize that most beginners feel alienated by stagnation and uncertainty. Feeling bad at a skill feels much better than feeling as if you are incapable of improving at that skill, and the shallow insistence of magical thought as a substitute for practice is a self fulfilling prophecy which will make it so.
#.txt#long rambly kinda whiny rant about a thing that grindssss my gears#I kinda gave up on art a while ago lowkey because there just werenāt any spaces for me to get any applicable advice#people just invoke āfigure draw!ā like itās a magical phrase and not a skill you have to train#itās the same trap beginner pianists fall into where they believe practice will inevitably produce good results#thatās false. itās not true. you have to LEARN how to practice well before you can get better#you spend WAY more time practicing than āusingā any of your skills#I donāt like how difficult it is to find even one person who just says āhereās my daily routine for warming up and practicing sketchesā#for anything besides fuckingā¦ anime twinky
