Ive been really curious as to how Spidey gets his suits. Because they clearly get damaged frequently, but he's also poor and probably cant afford to get a full body suit like his remade every single time. So my brainstorming about this, and a spideypool idea from that at the bottom, is below the read more.

At this point the best idea I have is its made from his webs, but dyed and processed in a way that prevents it from dissolving, or maybe he produces a different variety of webbing that doesnt dissolve.

He is shown to be able to produce larger sheets of webbing like a parachute, so what if he just obtained one of those like walmart mannequins the same size as him, modified it probably to better suit his form, wraps it in webbing, then dyes it like fabric.

Maybe using some sort of stencil he makes to make it easier to apply the black web design? Maybe thats on there to make patching holes easier? That way he can patch specific squares of the suit instead of large sections

The mannequin would probably make it easier to apply whatever the black webs sections are made of.

He could do multiple layers of webbing to insulate it during winter, or do the webs atop a sweater and long johns. He probably uses thrift stores for a lot of supplies that he cant make or something.

Plus most mannequins separate at the same spots his suit separates at, save for how his sleeves dont usually come off. I tried to find images of mannequins, and the ones I saw look to come apart at the neck, shoulders, hips, ankles, and wrist. His suit usually is a mask, the top shirt section, pants, gloves, and boots. Separating the mannequin into parts would probably make it easier to work with too. He could take the arms off to make dying the blue/black sections easier too.

If he uses a mannequin to make his suit, then itd be funny if the first time Deadpool stops by his apartment he just sees this ominous figure standing there in the corner, but its just some really stained old mannequin he found at a yard sale or something.

I rewatched tr!owen's and tr!pangi's discussion from yesterday to reanalyze some things and something that stood out to me a lot is just how closed mindset-adjacent some statements that tr!owen said were.. tr!pangi mentioned it briefly but something that i feel the need to highlight is the quote "you so desperately want to be us (yellow) [...] because you don't have a home to belong to". The thing is that this is completely and utterly wrong. Tr!pangi does have a home to belong to, he does have friends, everyone in the green and red faction do have a community of people that they can depend on, even tr!pili did, but because it's a smaller amount of people and because tr!owen and the rest of the yellow faction (aside from tr!ros before she left imo) don't understand them and don't try to, they assume that's not the case purely because of the fact they don't like the red and green factions.

They purposefully paint them as these horrible people who couldn't possibly get along with one another, because how could they? The people of these factions don't have empathy, don't have sympathy, all the red faction knows is to kill. And because the yellow faction has that mindset of them w/o trying to dig any deeper, you get beliefs like the one tr!owen has. Because of the fact that he thinks the yellow faction holds so much power and influence over everyone else, and also due to the fact they have the most people in their faction, he assumes that tr!pangi and the others are just jealous and want to be them when that's simply not true. They don't need to be yellow, because they already have each other. And that's something the yellow faction cannot say for themselves, no matter how many people are in it.

stumbled upon the confusing realization that, on the riot games website, only Viktor’s bio is written by a 3rd party person. a direct extract from the book of a random professor. granted, i only glanced at about 15 bios, so there’s a chance that someone else’s was written by a 3rd party person as well; but even then, it seems uncommon enough to be interesting.

what is their intent behind this? to represent the outsiders view into the life of a misunderstood villain? they make a point to tell us how so much of his life was undocumented, which is pretty important context, because then it seems like a lot of this is guesswork based on no understanding of his life as we see it in the show. granted, a lot of it is pretty close to canon, but there are bits i can tell are purely assumption from the writer.

also important to note: this is the only bio that refers to him and jayce as brothers. jayce’s bio calls them friends and colleagues, not brothers.

so, a 3rd party interpreting somebody’s poorly documented backstory in order to brother-wash his relationship with his partner. does this sound familiar? oh, yeah, its exactly what’s happened to almost every queer couple in history.

do i think riot referenced this on purpose? probably not. but it seems a bit important to me, as a reflection of something that’s happened in real life countless times. it just makes me think.

because we know that girls in saiki k CAN be like that but i dont remember it ever showing with teruhashi and we have scenes like this

where other girls are just as enamored with teruhashi as the guys are (the right panel could theoretically be just like the girls above but i doubt it considering the girl in the left one)

this idea of confliction is so beautiful to me and i think part of the reason that alice osemans books have absolutely captured me.

Okay, so after the Wilbur stream, I have been THINKING, and I've been THINKING SO GODDAMN HARD and something is just NOT adding up to me.

So q!Wilbur knows jack shit about the federation, despite... apparently, Lovejoy being a key funding source? Which has been killing my brain for a while because you know... it makes no goddamn sense. I don't need to explain to you why this makes no sense. You read the title, you get the point. You get why I'm confused.

If this isn't a blatant plothole, q!Wilbur knows much more than he's letting on. Or, some secret other option where the feds are just... iunno, spouting shit? That's all I can think of.

But I really like that secret option I know nothing about because it means q!Wilbur is way more likely to begin experiencing THE HORRORS, which he hasn't really experienced yet (sure, his daughter's missing, but I bet you could inflict a LOT more trauma on this poor sickly musician boy come on, step up your game qsmp admins)

As much as I LOVED thinking of Wilbur being more aligned with the federation before he came back, this man needs some CHARACTER MOTIVATION, which means he needs to not be evil, at least for a bit. Just a SECOND.

No matter how it turns out (except for the plothole outcome because that would be upsetting), I'm extremely excited to see where Wilbur's arc goes from here!

OK, so I haven't seen anyone talk about this, so I will.

So, we know in the new spin off Sean has his locs now!!! Seeing as the spin off takes place before the events of TMF, we can safely assume he had them the whole time, just due to gacha life barely having any nonstraight hairstyles he couldn't have them before

And while everyone's happy, I haven't seen anyone talk about Lia.

Lia. Lia's still got straight hair.

We know Lia, at one point, changed herself and pretended to be someone she wasn't for the sake of being popular, for the sake of people liking her. It was first revealed in the eighth episode - when Hailey told her:

"at least I didn't become a jerk just to please other people."

Which... Seemed to get to her.

We all know she used to be friends with Hailey. Not just from that piece of dialogue, but also during Hailey's song in the same episode, we have w quick shot which shows middle school her and Lia walking together in the hall, only Lia is wearing a simpler outfit, and her hair isn't straightened, furthermore suggesting that she did, in fact, change herself to be liked by Zoey, to be popular.

So, we know her personality, and possibly fashion as well, is primarily a facade she carried to be liked. And, now that we see her with her hair still straightened, despite rosyclozy having the ability to give her natural hair, we can assume she is straightening it to fit In, since the vast majority of rose meadow high consists of white people with straight hair

I'm not sure if the show is gonna really touch upon the subject of racism, or how well it would do in the first place, but this could very well be subtle commentary on how black people can be pressured into straightening their hair, due to natural black hair still being viewed as "unkempt" or "unprofessional" or "undesirable" by some...

And I'm not saying that every single black person that straightens their hair is doing it out of insecurity. But seeing as Lia's whole character is about someone who changed themselves in order to fit in, it does seem to fit her character...

Now, as of the finale, Lia kick-started her redemption arc that should carry on further into S2. She ditched Zoey and Maria, and by association the dromies as well, so we can see that she is on her way to becoming her own person again, and not having to care what people may think about her. And I can't wait!!! And, as she learns to love and accept herself more for who she is rather than what specific people think about her, she could also potentially stop straightening her hair (that is if she was doing it to fit in)

i am becoming increasingly sure as time goes on that my gender is Not Cis but its like. not enough for me to do anything like god forbid tell my parents. not bc they wouldn't be ACCEPTING but because i don't feel like they'd UNDERSTAND and trying to explain it to them would be too much work when i A) barely even know how to describe it to MYSELF and B) feel comfortable enough being described as a woman/girl/female/whatever. like if im fine enough being called a girl and im comfortable in my body and don't yet feel a need to use pronouns other than she/her then what's the point of trying to explain to my mom that i find the concept of gender pretty much inapplicable to myself/kind of confining and i feel more like an amorphous forest creature than a Girl and i wouldnt mind being perceived more masculine sometimes by society at large and gender questions on forms make me uncomfortable because i'm never totally sure what to answer.
