A lot of people want to entirely change their identity. They want to become someone else, to be anyone else but themselves... ...and they try to have a first "new start"...and then a second one cause obviously the first didn't work. What many of them don't realize is that we can't suddenly forget all of our patterns, habits, routines and ways of existing. You can't possibly erase an identity that was formed through so many years. Biologically speaking. What you can do, though, is evolve. Change happens slowly and you don't even realize it until you look back. But it happens. Here's the secret: YOU START CHANGING WHEN YOU START DOING THINGS THAT YOU HADN'T DONE BEFORE. CHANGES ARE RELATED TO ACCEPTED CHALLENGES. Also, a lot of the change happens when you start understanding the world around you, but also yourself. So let me give you a few ideas: 1. Art. This is it. Make art, not matter how bad the results are. Do it consistently. Because art is a way to know yourself and discover things that you didn't even know are there. Write, paint, draw, act, sculpt, do pottery, dance, play an instrument and compose your own music. 2. Read. Read something that you don't usually do. Keep yourself informed and learn to accept books that are not easy to digest. It doesn't have to be easy - but at the end of the book you'll find great satisfaction, I promise you. Some recs: Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre, The stranger by Albert Camus, One hundred years of solitude by Gabriel García Márquez; 3. Ask questions. I wish I was joking. Find something to be curious about. There's something that we, the younger generation, stopped doing. It's called thinking for ourselves. Tip: if you don't know hoe to start, go online, find a trend and criticize it. Find its flaws. Quite cynical, I know. But it's better than being brainwashed and losing your capacity of analyzing reality. 4. Disagree. Hang out with a friend, start a conversation about a topic you both view in a different manner. And learn to argue in a way without getting offended or offensive. Will be hard at first. But it get easier when you put your ego aside and understand that apart from entertainment, it has no real purpose. 😁 5. Form your own little rituals. Mine is savoring tea and dark chocolate after breakfast/lunch while looking outside. I know someone who's made a habit out of reading manhwa on Friday night. A friend of mine also takes one photo a day and keeps them in a separate folder. Get creative, babe :))

Being consistent can be challenging, but it's a skill that can be developed over time.
1. Set Clear Goals
Define what you want to achieve and why it's important.
Break the goal into smaller, manageable steps.
2. Create a Routine
Establish a daily or weekly schedule.
Make it as simple and realistic as possible to follow.
3. Start Small
Begin with small, achievable actions. This builds momentum and confidence.
Gradually increase your effort as you become more comfortable.
4. Stay Organized
Use tools like planners, apps, or calendars to track your progress.
Prioritize tasks and focus on what's most important.
5. Build Good Habits
Replace bad habits with positive ones.
Stay consistent by committing to a specific time or place for certain activities.
6. Hold Yourself Accountable
Set deadlines and hold yourself to them.
Share your goals with a friend or mentor to get support.
7. Embrace Imperfection
Understand that setbacks happen; don't let them derail your efforts.
Focus on progress, not perfection.
8. Stay Motivated
Remind yourself of your "why" regularly.
Celebrate small wins to keep your spirits high.
9. Avoid Overloading Yourself
Don’t take on too much at once; this can lead to burnout.
Learn to say no to distractions that don’t align with your goals.
10. Be Patient
Consistency is built over time, not overnight.
Trust the process and keep going even when progress feels slow.
Take care of yourself <3

ʜᴏᴡ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴄᴏɴꜱɪꜱᴛᴇɴᴛ pt.2
Here are 10 more unique tips to help you stay consistent:
1. Tie It to an Existing Habit
Link your new habit to something you already do daily. Example: If you want to read more, read for 5 minutes right after brushing your teeth.
2. Use the "2-Minute Rule"
If a task feels overwhelming, start with just 2 minutes of effort.
Example: Instead of aiming for a full workout, just commit to putting on your workout clothes. Once you start, you'll likely keep going.
3. Track Progress Visually
Use a habit tracker, checklist, or even mark an "X" on a calendar every day you stick to your habit.
Seeing your streak grow will make you want to continue!
4. Set Non-Negotiables
Decide on a bare minimum you must do, no matter what.
Example: If you're too tired to exercise, do just 10 squats instead of skipping completely.
5. Change Your Environment
Make it easier to stay consistent by removing friction.
Example: If you want to drink more water, keep a bottle within reach at all times.
If you want to use your phone less, keep it in another room while working.
6. Develop an Identity-Based Mindset
Instead of saying, "I want to work out regularly," say "I am someone who exercises daily."
Aligning habits with your identity makes them easier to stick to.
7. Plan for Failure (Have a Backup Plan)
Expect obstacles and have a strategy for when things go wrong.
Example: If you miss a gym session, have a quick home workout plan as a backup.
If you can’t follow your full morning routine, pick just one key habit to keep.
8. Make It Fun
Consistency is easier when you enjoy the process!
Example: Turn boring tasks into a game, challenge yourself, or reward yourself after completing tasks.
9. Batch Similar Tasks Together
If you struggle with consistency, try batching tasks to make them easier.
Example: If you want to post on social media daily, create a week’s worth of content in one session.
10. Remove the Decision Fatigue
Plan ahead so you don’t have to think too much in the moment.
Example: Lay out your workout clothes the night before or meal prep for the week to avoid unhealthy choices.
Stay hydrated <3
