One of my absolute favorite Opmeg mechpreg tropes is the idea that because Megs is so stupidly big and bulky and Optimus was sparked as a smaller civilian frame first before the primacy stuff, megs just, doesn’t know he’s pregnant. Like 100% doesn’t know until he’s either in emergence or at a doctors appt and they find it while seeing an unrelated issue and he’s like third trimester, that little bit of weight he noticed? That’s his tiny ass full belly bump. It’s so funny to me, especially when Optimus realizes his been fighting a PREGNANT megatron who’s been CARRYING THEIR SPARKING FOR MONTHS. Primus help them both.

Contemplating going back to grad school but my farsightedness is so severe that even with reading glasses, I would need some of the accommodations for visually impaired students--large-print books, audio "narration" software for assigned texts in PDF format, that sort of thing. My glasses work less well with computer screens; I'm not sure why, maybe they need a blue light filter or something. The problem is that I'd be reading texts in three or more languages, which use three or more alphabets, and that's a lot of highly specialized software. I'm also dyslexic, which makes reading archival documents EXTREMELY difficult in conjunction with my vision. I would need a LOT of help, and I'm not sure any department would be willing to provide it

Do you have a waitlist for those who want commissions from you? I tried filling out the form when I got the phone push notification about the slots opening up yesterday but I didn't get my refs/form filled out in time before it closed (congrats for it filling btw).

Do you usually leave the forms open and then pick the commissions you vibe/think you'd do well out of all that were submitted... Or do you generally do a first come first serve till the slots fill up?

Hi! I'd be happy to answer these since my comms are starting to spread out to more folks!

So, the way I try and go about doing my commissions is:

I open my forms abt once a month, and take a handful of applications as to not overwhelm myself or have to turn down too many of them, and pick what I can do from those!

I have a ping list set aside for those who want to be notified each opening so they don't miss it, as well 👀

Though I don't necessarily pre-claim slots (the waiting list would not be fun for anyone), I try to make it so anyone who wants a comm has a chance at getting one :>
