Hmmm... so I kinda thought up a little situation between Raph and Mona.

Raphael and Mona were a couple. This was obvious. Whenever Mona had come to visit, Raphael would try and spend as much time as he possibly could with her, much to his brothers delight. His brothers found this display of affection entertaining.

Mona, who had never lived on Earth, was unfamiliar with humanity's customs. She would often question Raphael about certain topics, to which Raphael would awkwardly try and explain it, without entirely knowing what it was that he was trying to explain.

"So humans purposely place this 'fruit' on a bread like food covered in tomato, meat, and cheese?" Mona grimmaced at the ham and cheese pizza. Raphael chuckled quietly beside her and took a slice of the pizza.

"Yeah! And I enjoy it~" Mona shuddered beside him and glanced around. They were sitting on top of a building which was slighty taller than the average apartment complex. Raphael looked up at her and realised she wasn't aware of anything he was doing. He smirked and poked Mona's side. No reaction. His smirked faltered as she turned around to face him.

"Yes?" Mona said curiously. Raphael hastily thought of a question.

"What do ya like about Earth?" Good question plenty of answers to choose from-

"The fact that you're here on it?" Mona smiled at him.

"O-Other then that." Raphael flushed.

"Well then I-" Mona noticed the blush on Raphael's face. "I like the way humans and turtles react to certain things."

Raphael chuckled again but Mona was quick to notice to embarrassment in his voice.

"Something the matter Raphael?" Mona asked in a worried tone. Raphael hesitated before asking; "You're not ticklish are ya?"

Mona paused. Ticklish? She had heard Raphael use this word before. Or was it michelangelo?

"Not that I know of." She watched him cautiously. What did 'ticklish' mean again? Was it a disease? "What is 'ticklish' again?"

"A physical action that causes... laughter?" Raph said slowly. He'd never really considered how tickling working.

"Show me." Mona had shuffled closer to Raph.

"Aha... But cha' ain't ticklish. How am I gonna show ya that?" Raph chuckled. Mona tried to remember when Michelangelo had mentioned the word 'ticklish'.

"At least I'm not as ticklish as Raph!" Michelangelo's voice echoed in her head.

"...How does one tickle another?" Raph stared at Mona, surprised and a little suspicious. "And... may I test it on you?"

Raph was silent. This didn't seem to bother Mona, as she continued to watch Raphael with great interest.

"Well! Uh..." should he say no? Raphael glanced at her. "Sure, if you're that interested."

Mona squealed happily and pulled Raphael into a tight hug.

"So how do I 'tickle' you?" Mona settled her hands around Raph's waist.

"So you put uour hands here-" He guided her hands to his sides. "And you uh-" He flushed. "Move your fingers up and down into my shell."

"Alright!" Mona slowly began moving her fingers around.

"Y-Yep! Thats ho-heh-how you t-tickle someone!" Raphael tried to climb out of Mona's hold.

"But you're not laughing yet." Mona said, a hint of sadness in her voice. Raphael wasn't listening. Mona decided to dig into his sides. Hard.

"AHAHAHAHA! N-NO WAHAHAHAIHIHIH-!" Raph screamed trying desperately to get out of her hold. Mona smiled again and tweaked his side roughly causing Raph to thrash around frantically, pushing at her hands. "STOPSTOPSTOPNOHOHOHOHO!"

"This... is amazing." Mona said in disbelief as she watch Raphael laugh his heart out, all because of her. She'd never been able to get Raphael chuckle let alone laugh.

"Where else are ticklish?" Mona inquired moving up to his underarms and attacking.

"EVERYWHEHEHEHERE! AREYOUDOHOHOHOHONE?!" Raphael practically screamed.

Mona laughed unconciously and tickled his belly as Raphael slapped at her hands.

"PLEAHAHAHEHEHEHESE!" Raphael leant back against Mona as she moved down to his hips, and then... she reach his thighs. Raphael choked. "AHAHAHA WAIWAIWAIT-! NOOOHOHOHOHO!"

Mona watched Raphael, not out of interest but out of concern. She stopped and Raphael slumped against her, blushing furiously.

"Are you alright Raphael? I'm sorry I'm not exactly sure when to stop." Mona admitted quietly, her hands resting on his... Raphael sat up.

"Ok. I should explain something to you..." Mona nodded and sat back. "I get that you were having fun, but maybe I should teach you about what not to do."

Mona listened quietly to Raph's explanation of do's and don't's. This explanation, however, made Mona very aware of how embarrassed Raphael could become.

"...and thats why it becomes uncomfortable in that situation." Raphael had finished his explanation. "Any questions?"

"Can I tickle you again?"

Raph choked.

My two cents on the current state of the community, a bit more under the cut vvv

Before anyone comes for my throat, I am not calling anyone a groomer, I am just wanting to make very clear that their behaivor is considered grooming. Specifically by authorities.

And there is a pssibility that years from now, a minor who has then become an adult looks back at your "friendship" and consideres it grooming and either calls you out or possibly even reports you.

It's not about what it means to you but about how society views your behaivor and how it effects others.

Just because it is not happening in dms but instead in a discord server or your tumblr asks doesn't mean it is not inaproperate. Same goes with how much it is normalized. Just bc other adults in the community are doing it does not mean it is okay- Itis just sadly normalized in the sfw community.

At the end of the day all I can do is say my part on this, but seeing how often I see adults teasing minors when checking out blogs I had to say my piece.
