He had to keep being knocked out during one of the Heroes of Olympus books because that boy jsut kept smitting everything without a second thought he was going to send a lightning bolt down without hesitation or a second thought while him, piper, and Percy were trapped in water.

Concepts for Cohort Uniforms as modeled by the Second House Scion Judith Deuteros

I’m a costume designer by trade and the problem of how to design an entire military wing of a disco for a necromancer society in space was just too tempting to pass up. I took inspiration from modern US navy, regency era naval officers, sci-fi space suits, and bones.

Anything red on Jody would be the house color for whatever soldier wore it, rough examples in the third image.

At Canaan, Marta and Judith would both wear the top middle which is designated for OF 3-6 (lieutenants commander, captains, etc.) though Jody has the “cursory” necro robe because I couldn’t resist.

Jody would have been 14 when she last wore the red junior division uniforms m (but I didn’t want to draw a new model lol) and the blue is also what Isaac and Jeannemary would have worn prior to Canaan. This is because the thought of child soldiers in little naval capes makes me cry so it felt right.

Hellooooooooo !

I’ve been discovering Roblox and drawing the general formalwear of high ranking Cohort officials like Judith and Marta (so roughly 0-1 to 0-11 ranks) as of late :D

Here’s what I’ve come up so far :

- A Regency navy/Navy whites hybrid

- A 70s disco inspired one

- An I’ve been watching too many anime with not so practical but dashing military uniforms

- And a mixture of all the aboveeee

If you have any opinion whatsoever to help me decide which one I want to focus on don’t hesitate, although so far I’ve been obsessed with the first one more than reason : that one feels very simple but effective ?

Also, A big thank you for showing me so much love and demonstrating interest into my art & my interpretations of the series characters, it really made my summer :]

Maybe it isn't Zara's fault after all. Maybe it is because she was brought up into the ideals and opinions of the Cohort. Maybe the idea that Shadowhunters need to be conservative and the hate for downworlders are things she purely adopted from her father. For all we know her mother could have been killed by a rogue downworlder and that might have caused his hatred for them. Maybe she just hasn't ever analyzed what is right and is wrong and has had her moral compass created by someone else. One thing we do know about her is the fact she feels the need to be the best and she will do anything for it, even if it's not right or even legal. But yet again, that could be because she has learned that Shadowhunters as a kind need to be the best. What I'm saying is that we don't know if Zara just doesn't have an opinion of her own or if something has happened (other than being brought up by her father) that has caused her to support the cohort.

For all we know she could get a redemption arc in the wicked powers much like Jessamine did (yk, excluding the death part) even though I don't think that idiotic backstabber could ever learn to be open-minded. But maybe it just isn't her fault.( I want her dead.)

I finally got around to finishing my Geth OC's model, rig, and materials for Blender. I listened to RRR's Naatu on loop while making it so I had the idea to do this.

The models were repurposed from my Mass Effect Trilogy Geth model pack (OP3DL | Mega).

So, while me and @dr-darkwood were applying the vampire template to ... ehm, countess Lovinia, we remembered that she has the Leadership feat. And, since her original cohort fuckin' died (Roland thought it would be a good idea to make her cohort Kavan the barbarian, which naturally presented motivational conflicts when he finally revealed himself to be a vampire & Strahd's minion), we had to come up with something else.

Originally, we were going to make it one of the NPCs from the castle, but nothing really fit super well (Rahadin is kind of a bitch, and not in the fun way), we had to come up with one on our own. Roland went looking through Curse of Strahd, and he says he found something that would work?

I dunno man. We played out a small scenario of them meeting, she came out of a portal in the dungeon, she was super fucked up when we found her (hence the deep facial scarring & sick Clockwork Prosthetic that was a pain in the ass) she says she's from Vallaki, but doesn't remember much else...

Her name is Lydia. She apparently chose it herself. She's Lovinia's handmaiden now, and will hopefully be interacting with the party a lot when we get around to visiting Raven loft again. I say hopefully, so that I have more excuses to draw her.

She's so cool. Isn't she cool? I think she's cool.
