Funny idea for those “Cap adopts Kon Au’s” is that Baby Marvel gets thrown into the mix so now there’s also this actual baby getting adopted by a 14-15 year old and Kon’s there at 16 suddenly having a tiny baby brother

Anyway, funny idea beyond that is Lex seeing the mop of orange-red hair on the baby’s head somehow and wonders if a smaller clone of Supermans got out with too much of his DNA messing with the kid’s appearance (since Lex had that same kind of hair before he went bald)

So Lex is like “Oh, I have two genetic progeny’s now… this might be an issue”

Idk what I’m thinking with it, but I am rolling at the idea of Lex figuring out a teenager might be raising what he thinks are his kids*( kids; more in the way that there his property, bulk of his care comes from their use)

DO NOT TRUST FRANK MILLER’S COMICS. His Batman: Year One is good, but everything after that is bad. Seriously, his batman got nicknamed Crazy Steve because of the belief that this could not be Bruce.

Young Justice did not actually kill Santa, they simply witnessed his death. Also Constantine snorting his bones was unrelated.

Tim Drake is canonically some flavor of queer (i think he’s bi) and has a boyfriend

Dick Grayson was killed by Lex Luthor once but he came back immediately and was turned into a spy

Jason Todd was 4’6 and 87 pounds when he died so it’s extremely common for fans to think that jaybin (jason-robin) was adorable.

Tim Drake attempted to clone his best friend (Superboy aka Kon-El) 99 times. If you want to see what that would have been like if it worked and they became a couple, go to Timkon Clone Baby AU.

If you like crossovers, get into Miraculous Ladybug, Danny Phantom, or White Collar. (I like Danny Phantom and White Collar). Though DCxDP might not be for you if you dislike vivisection.

Billy Batson is *baby*. We call him Captain Marvel still because it makes no sense for the word he can’t say to be his hero name. He was 8 years old and homeless when he became a superhero and happens to be the God of Gods. If you like secret identity reveals, it’s common in the Captain Marvel fandom.

The "10 year old champion of magic adopts an 1 year old clone" au.

Conner is surprisingly alright with having a 10 year old as dad. He (a 1 year old) is aware that age doesn't mean anything about maturity.

He calls him Dad, even in his downpowered form and tries to be a good boy, out of fear of being abandoned if he where to be bad.

Billy is still his childish, innocent, self but he loves his boy and genuinely tries to help him with his powers. He also has started to dislike superman, as he reminds him a lot of his late uncle.

Superman is a bit worried for his friend, as he still believes that his Clone is a weapon and a danger to society. On the other hand, he is glad that this thing is out of his hand.

Luthor pays the child support.

(The most liked Theory is that Captain Marvel is another Clone of Superman, whilst Billy is Luthors. They are both Conners parents genetics wise and probably feel weird to be around the other one)

Conner also stopped being superboy in favor of becoming "Lieutenant", Captain Marvels side kick.

His new persona also gave him the nickname "Lieu", what allowed him to create a secret identity.

Lieu is a softboy. A kind soul that adores old people and animals. Someone that smiles easily and is extremely emotional.

Conner on the other hand works in an animal shelter and is scary. He has an strong resting bitch face and looks angry all the time.

(The costume was made by an elderly Lady he usually carries to her bingo weekends. Its his most priced possession and nothing pisses him more of than it getting damaged)

Another important thing is that Conner was able to grow into himself because of Billy. He soon learnt that he didn't have to copy someone else to be kept around, so he started expressing himself more.

(His Teammates didn't recognize him when he returned "home". He was the heartthrob for a few months after that. To bad he isn't allowed to date till he reaches double digits.

I’m writing a Billy-as-Captain-Marvel-adopts-Kon AU too and I wanted to ask this, what do you think Billy thinks if people say he’s a good dad? Especially if they compare him to other ones?

Like what’s a literal child to think on what compliment when his basis is just what he can remember of his own dad and a plethora of examples not to do.

Like he’ll just unconsciously say or do something and someone says he’s doing a good job parenting Kon right after and he’s like “??? This is called being a good friend/person, do you guys not do this??” Bc his type of parenting ends up being a lot of panicked-but-trying-dad moments mixed with him just being himself and treating Kon like a friend/brother-figure

Like, when I got comments of how good of a mom I’d be when I’m older just looking after my younger cousins or my niece when she was born it made me uncomfortable and I’d nod along cause “hey, it’s a compliment, right?”

Hmmm, well, I guess that depends on the vibe you're going for in the fic? And like, how straight you're playing the concept. I'm going kinda "crack" meets "crack treated seriously" myself, so there's definitely emotional moments and bits of drama and such, but also the whole concept and the logic Billy's operating on is all objectively ridiculous. Like, the starting place he is coming from is "I'm a dad now! yes it's fine and normal that my newborn cloneson is physiologically four years older than me :) he's my baby! :)))"

Personally, I'm going with Billy actively trying to be a good guardian/parental figure while mentally framing it as that, so he'd be really pleased to get the "good dad" compliment in that scenario. Like, he's TRYING to be a good dad. I think in a set-up where he might be thinking the situation is more a "yeah I'm just faking being Superboy's dad so the adults will get off both our backs, we're really more like bros" thing, he might take it differently.

Captain Marvel Adopts Superboy AU

I've been seeing more Connor and Dad Captain Marvel content and I want to add. I imagine it being Connor's first birthday and Captain Marvel wanting to throw the best birthday party ever! He talked to the Gods and got a full day in the gardens on Mount Olympus, he decorated, invited the entire Young Justice League, made the perfect cake himself, and got him a powerful artifact as his gift or maybe Conner's signature leather jacket with a lightning bolt stitched on the back! It was amazing and really fun but at the end of the day I see Captain Marvel becoming emotional about how fast Connor and everyone is growing up and crying a lot little.

It's been a while but we did some script stuff for a film class I took so made this Captain Marvel: (Sips from mug reading '#1 DAD' in large, blocky letters)

pan camera to ZATANNA, looking confused at the camera

Zatanna: My first thought was not good, considering I know Cap is a kid under all his glamour. (Cut to couch interview) I thought that he was suddenly some teen dad and was just, I don't know, making light of a really shitty situation for a young teen, but no. Billy adopted Connor, Connor.

(Cut to SUPERBOY, unaware of camera and chatting with a woman who dumps her water bottle on him before stomping away)

Zatanna, voiceover: I guess it good to give him a mentor figure but I don't think I'm the only one sensing a disaster in the making once people realize Billy hasn't even turned fifteen yet.

(Cut to Dr. Fate on the couch)

Dr. Fate: The Champion is a man of great kindness and sincerity; I have no doubt in his fatherly abilities despite his age and inexperience.

(Cut to John Constantine, trying and failing to light a cigarette with a busted zippo)

John: (Intellegeble mutter) Not like the kid could do 'orse than the rest ov' us.

Kon: I get a chill dad, basic non-farm related chores, and my curfew is practically non-existent as long as I have an explanation like hero work? Hell yeah I love my new old man!

Thinking of writing out sitcom-style scenes(not the ones with the laughing track)with the magic community/Fawcett heroes/Batson family. The potential is there.

Also imagine the hilarious couch scenes(you know, when they talk to the camera). I’m thinking about some done in a universe where Billy adopts Connor without anyone knowing his identity.

Like he comes into a meeting with other magic users and universal overlords with his mug that says “best dad ever”. Fate puts his head in his hand and Metron gives him a disappointed look 🤣

Nighttime hardships

I imagined Captain Marvel finding a sleeping Superboy in his closet multiple times. Eventually, he started trying to help Superboy learn how to sleep in a bed.

Weeks later...

Black Canary: How is Superboy doing? Cap.

Has there been any trouble?

Captain Marvel: He's doing just fine, Canary. I just wish it were easier for him to sleep better.

Black Canary: Sleep better?

Captain Marvel: He's still learning how to sleep lying down, Canary. Still adjusting to life outside of the pod. So far, Superboy is able to sleep lying down, but only if he is cocooned in his blanket.

Black Canary: Oh.

Just a concept I’m playing around with, I feel like Cass would clock Billy’s deal pretty quickly but keep his secret (in an au where the JL doesn’t know he’s a kid). Billy would probably be living by himself and working as whiz kid in this one, very independent but kinda lonely. He’s still got friends ofc but maybe no hero that truly gets him. Just a very good boy

Cass may try to get Batman to go easier on him. If they ever meet Cap would tell Cass that she’s a good person with such absolute certainty that she would be blown away. Incredulous—> denial/doubt —> hope —> belief —> grateful

Lowk want this to connect to the Dad!Billy au where Batman misinterprets Captain Marvel’s wistfulness to wanting a child (instead of parents and a family lol) but not having the means to support one + the responsibility of being a hero. Then Superboy gets discovered, and Superman doesn’t want him? boom perfect opportunity to give Cap a child! And a civilian life! Adopting worked for Batman, what could go wrong
