I'm bitten by Oz fever again because of the Wicked trailer and I dug out my old dvd. I forgot how awesome it was aaaaand I forgot how good Alan Cummings is in it.
And of course Neal McDonough....
But the thing is I somehow forgot the chemistry they had 😅
Yesterday, I had an epiphany. I have a type for male characters I like so much. They’re normally gruff, rude, and sometimes on the wrong side of the conflict before being shown to actually be soft little kittens underneath. I don’t know what this says about me, but I’m ok with it. Or they come off as absolute playboys- but totally have eyes for one person only. Like give me a good redemption arc, or the start of one, and that it’s. I’m done.
What I don’t get is that both Moira and Amy know what it’s like to take a life in a heated emotional moment, or accidentally, or by a mistakes that goes horribly wrong.
They know what it’s like to live with the grief, the guilt, and the pain of being responsible for taking a life. For causing that kind of suffering and despair to their victim’s love ones.
Then why the hell would they want to do that to Kyle?
They know what a sweet and sensitive kid he is. This will destroy him, the whole damn thing will destroy him. The fact that he took a life, that Cain took the blame for him and is facing life inside, that it hurt his family like Isaac, Moira, Amy, Nate, etc. That there are actually people grieving for Al like Kerry and Chas.
I get the fear of him being sent down which will destroy him too. But I think that’s the worst case scenario. Kyle is such a good kid, I can’t see the courts throwing the book at him since it was an accident and Kyle thought he was protecting his dad. Kyle is also ten and like I’ve said been a good kid before all this, the courts would take that into accounts.
