And Annemarie is getting to know Augustus - big brother of her good friend Anthony - although how she feels about him remains to be seen. So far, the only Sim outside his family (and even some of them don't like him) who doesn't find him objectionable is his Townie girlfriend Brittany!

With Margaret's credibility within the scientific community in tatters, and her employability at zero, Willoughby has had to become the breadwinner in the family, and has found himself a job as a paramedic.

Meanwhile, financial independence beckons for Annemarie!

If her other new acquaintance Emma - from her new high school - thinks that Annemarie looks faintly ridiculous, she's far too polite to say.

Anyway, who cares, as long as it's lucrative!

And look who's unexpectedly expecting again!

And starving hungry in the middle of the night.

There's something reassuring about having a paramedic in the house, when she goes into labour.

Welcome to Merybury, Josiah! Despite having a tiny house, Willoughby had been quietly hoping to become a father again - just once more - even if Margaret will be the stay-at-home parent this time, rather than him.

Rinko doesn't like her and ignores her most of the time

since Aleksandra is basically Brittany's (Brittany belongs to @askkassandragf-v-2 ) right-hand woman, then Ren Hua is enemies with her (their rivalry is the same as Ren Hua's rivalry with Brittany)

Azra doesn't "hate" her per se, and the two had very little interactions, but Azra did tell Aleksandra that she couldn't tell what color her aura was, much to Aleksandra's confusion

the rest of my OCs (Murasaki, Patrick, Onkar, Kendra, Tae, Joshua) dislike her and often support Ren Hua whenever she and Aleksandra have any kind of stand-off

The Wickham Family Album: Volume XIX

After sharing an impromptu first kiss with Brittany, Augustus thinks that a proper first date should be his next move.

It's off to Rollerama in Sanditon for them both! Ugh, although this isn't a great start to the date.

Thankfully, she seems to like his humour better than his conversation.

It's a quiet day at the roller-rink, with just a select clientele.

After a bit of flirting...

...it's time for some refreshment. Augustus was thinking of just a coffee, but Brittany seems to have worked up quite an appetite already!

...fortunately doesn't spoil the mood.

I think he's got himself a girlfriend.

In the end, it's a first date to remember - commemorated with some photobooth shots.

As Brittany heads home to catch up on some homework before school tomorrow, we're treated to a display of skating prowess by Max Flexor - although Augustus doesn't seem to have mastered it himself.

Back at home, it's actually Rebecca's big day.

And because - being the youngest - she often seems to be a bit of an afterthought, let's give her her own screenshot, rather than having to share with big sister Laura. I think she's looking quite a lot like her dad.

Currently reading: The Summer Hikaru Died (Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu). I am obsessed with this Manga! My 1st Manga experience ever, the best introduction I hadn't thought I was asking for! Like, what kind of Horror is this? What kind of Love is this? Does it look like Anime? Does it look like Realism? Does it make me giddy? Does it make me even more fucking depressed than I already am? Is it so fucked up? It is an enthralling combination of all of these elements to make this singular Art & more! Yoshiki & Hikaru is the Story; surrealistically weird, beautifully raw, & hauntingly wistful is what I can describe them rn.

Currently watching: The Broski Report. It's a Comedic/Informative Podcast-y YouTube Series by Brittany Broski (Kombucha Girl). It's more apt to "listen" to it on Spotify/Apple. But I want to watch it on YouTube just cuz I want to see what she's presenting in her studio & her facial expressions . Makes me feel more "connected", yknow? Probably just an Autism thing lol

2024 CMT Music Awards/CMT Crossroads Nickelback & Hardy

So today on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), we will talk about 2 shows and we will talk about CMT Music Awards for 2024. The show took place on Sunday 4/7/24 on CBS at 8pm EST (Eastern Standard Time). And was hosted by Kelsea Ballerini, but let's start with the red carpet and pre-show which was at 7pm on CMT (Country Music Television), and the show was from Austin, Texas.

Awards (Who won and who should have won according to the MSR (Midnight Star Report). June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award goes to Trisha Yearwood. CMT Digital First Performance goes to Scotty McCreery - It matters to her. And that is who I voted for. Collaborative Video of the Year goes to Carly Pearce featuring Chris Stapleton - We don't fight anymore. I voted for Justin Moore, & Priscilla Block - You, me, & whiskey which was a former #1 and the only choice so far that has gotten there. Breakthrough Female Video of the Year goes to Ashley Cooke - your place. And that is who I voted for. Breakthrough Male Video of the Year goes to Warren Zeiders - Pretty little poison. And that is who I voted for. CMT Performance of the Year goes to Jelly Roll - Need a favor. I voted for Cody Johnson - Human. Duo/Group Video of the Year goes to Dan + Shay - Save me the trouble. I think I could have seen this go to Parmalee - Girl in mine. Male Video of the Year goes to Jelly Roll - Need a favor. I voted for Luke Combs - Fast car. Female Video of the Year goes to Lainey Wilson - Watermelon moonshine. This one should have gone to Ashley McBryde - Light on in the kitchen. Video of the Year goes to Jelly Roll - Need a favor. And that's a wrap for the performances. And on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give these shows 3.5 out of 5 stars. Sam Hunt's -locked up was performance of the night. I am a fan of new music and that was the one that felt like Johnny Cash vibes.
