Maybe I'm reading too much into things that have no meaning ....... BUT it's very interesting to me that the Ford content clips from VCarb's filming day are exclusively of Daniel; Daniel doing some silly little studio outtake clips for the Las Vegas GP, only clips of Daniel in the car and the garage. I just really think that Ford's interest to work with Daniel has very much been under-appreciated in some of the recent discussions about Daniel's prospects for 2025-26.

I have a fully formed headcanon based on this scene.

After breakfast, sometime around lunch Haein sees Hyunwoo walking in their room, rubbing his chest cause he's getting heart burn from the espresso he drank on an empty stomach. 'Serves him right' she thinks and so she proceeds to tease him mercilessly. He doesn't give in pretending he's fine, acting all cold with her through the pain.

A little while later after his phone call with his friend, he sees korean heartburn medicine that he usually takes laid out for him on the table. He can't help the smile that takes permanent residence on his face.

Bhahahah I was looking at those exact KJJK tweets when I saw your post. It’s soooo funny. Like why did the K Akgaes delude themselves into believing JK is bigger than JM in Korea? What happened there? I am only a frequent visitor to the country, but JM is obviously miles ahead of JK when it comes to popularity and acceptance there. Even Jin is more loved than JK. The order is pretty much Jimin, Jin and Jung Kook and then everyone else. People have a love hate relationship with JK where they are fond of him, but his personality doesn’t really fit their likes. Jimin is known as well spoken, a good representative of Korean Culture, a great dancer, a good person all in all. His manners seemingly excessive to the international side, is crafted for the Korean society. It’s PRETTY fucking obvious. Like I am sorry. I can understand a person from Uruguay or Algeria glitching because JM is more popular than JK, but you live in Korea. What did you expect? You see brand reputation month after month, sans the period where HYBE shoved JK down their throats for 5 months straight, JK has never once seen the top spot. Now that HYBE can’t thrust him upon their society, he’s fallen back to No3 (Jin leading now given he’s on variety shows and events a lot). Jimin is KOREA’s fav. Seven charting on Melon doesn’t mean anything but the fact that Korea loves trashy pop.

You can just look at the difference in how their birthdays are handled. Last year Jimin managed to over shadow him on his own bday because of his tattoos (lmao). Like it was actual news getting reported by media sites. And then when Jimin’s actual birthday came up, it was a genuine event. So many people flocked there and it wasn’t just in Korea it was world wide. Without Jimin even needing to be there. That’s why there will always be the distinction between popular and impactful respectively when it comes to JK and Jimin.

Ough. I think that New Age AU Nightmare should accidentally unite rival kingdoms. Usher in a new era of peace style.

Like. It's my au so I can do as I please, but I REALLY like the idea that Reaper is the first adult (besides his Knights) who really takes Night seriously.

Reaper only knows him as the Teen King, but he'd heard rumors of the usurping before and chose actively not to mess with Night, assuming he was a loose cannon and might declare war. He *did* inherit a huge army, after all. So when Reaper asked for the treaty, he was pleasantly surprised to hear Night was open to the idea. They talked through letters for almost a year before anything went through, and Night was always well-spoken and blunt about his beliefs and what he wanted, but also didn't skimp on the thinly veiled threats.

Reaper was impressed, and had a deep respect.

And then he arrived, and Nightmare was like, fourteen. And of course, he didn't say anything, but he payed close attention, and Night spoke the same way he wrote. It was definitely him. So... Reaper just rolled with it. And was proven so so correct for doing it. Because Night far exceeded the accomplishments Reaper had been expecting, and cherry on top, Night had Geno's little brother. The entire point of getting the treaty.

Of course, Nightmare would be a powerful enemy to make, so the treaty went through, but it worked great because it seemed Error would be staying, and visits would have to be arranged.

So. My point here. I think Reaper is someone who's willing to talk to Nightmare as a friend, and commiserate over ruling, share news, strategies, and just have general talks that Night enjoys.

Along with that, I think that anytime there's a big event where the royals of different kingdoms meet up (think Galas or political hearings) Reaper acts as Night's entry into the world of the royals. Reaper's been alive for longer than most current rulers could even remember, so him treating *Nightmare* of all people as an equal? It immediately gave him a boost socially that he needed. And he has the heart and the knowledge, at this point, to justify Reaper respecting him so much.

And by the time Nightmare is grown (and probably brings his nuclear war-head crafting husband Wizard to events), everyone respects him. He has other royal friends. He has a place there, abd people listen to his insights, abd he helps other kingdoms resolve their systematic issues when he can. And a mix between Scary Dog Privilege (Reaper + Error + Knights) and just Genuineky Being Good At It, makes him accidentally kick off a longer era of peace between a lot of the kingdoms. The kinda thing you hear about when ancient civilizations have that one peaceful era.

I just think it'd be so so ironic if he managed to get through all of this trouble, and have all these odds stacked against him, and actually be able to kinda naturally improve things!!!

I want to believe that the Brand sisters' first names are not incidental. I also believe that while one is played relatively straight, the other is presented as a subversion of the myth.

Not unlike her mythological counterpart, Cassandra outsmarted a god and was cursed with the gift of prophecy in return. Her warnings in the face of tragedy would be ignored. She would be ridiculed, spat on and belittled for daring to go against the grain. For being a disruptor, a real disruptor.

Helen, on the other hand, plays the role of her mythological counterpart in a less straight forward way, though I still think makes sense. Accounts of Helen's attitude during the war of Troy vary but one thing is consistent—she is at most a passive actor in the war that is waged in her name. Glass Onion tells a story where Helen does fill that role, to an extent—she is the interloper and the princess who got wrapped in a huge mess against her will. But she is also the wooden horse. a woman who no longer causes the destruction of the entire city through inaction and passivity, no longer merely existing, but doing.

In this story, Helen gets to burn Troy down herself.
