OK sorry but after everyone hyping up F1 finally allowing an eleventh team on the grid to give SO many NEW or ROOKIE or AMERICAN drivers a chance on the grid ... only for their lineup to be a washed up really should've retired years ago Sergio Perez and a probably really already had his chance in F1 Zhou Guanyu ....... I will laugh 💀😒😂😌🫠

Blake: How was your punt job on Max, mate? Jesus christ bro. Daniel: Well, I was like he's gonna turn me, so I'm gonna turn him. Oi, as soon as I turned him, I looked at every cut through possible, I'm like can he kill me here? No. Can he kill me here? No. Alright, well, wish me luck!

It appears Daniel was taking a singing lesson with Zack from Cashapp ...??? 🥲🙃🤔
Tumblr media
I think you're right about it being Daniel's house anonstie, which I think makes it unlikely it was some sort of corporate cashapp group type event. And I know Daniel's always loved music and talked about wishing he knew more about some of the basics and wishes he'd learnt an instrument so maybe this is just a personal interest project. Buuuuuut I do find the choice of taking an actual singing lesson with Zack iiiiiinteresting ..... 🤔

Daniel Ricciardo speaking to the BBC's Lee McKenzie after his first race as a Formula One driver | British GP 2011
Well, I suppose all you could have asked for at your first Grand Prix was to see the chequered flag, so from that point of view it went very well. Yeah, I guess that was the main aim for this weekend, to see that, so that was good. It started off quite difficult with the weather and it was quite close with the others, but then they started to pull away from me and I was sort of doing my own race. A little bit boring at times, but the blue flags kept me occupied and just trying to manage those was probably the most difficult thing. I'm reasonably happy that I've got to the finish and got a bit of information to take with me and to progress for the next few. I'm sure it would be more boring if you were sitting there watching on television, as you have been until now. Just tell us how your heart rate was doing. We spoke about this yesterday. How were you feeling when you were on the grid? I was actually not too bad. You know, I think I tried not to... It's a bit weird, I tried not to take too much of it in because then maybe I would have hit the limiter a few times. But, you know, I just told myself it's another race, which reality it is. And I think starting from the back, there wasn't so much pressure, you know, of having to really muscle someone out of the way in the first few corners. So it was, you know, I was quite relaxed, actually.

nah because WHAT do you mean Daniel was being asked "will you change how you've pronounced your family name for your entire life" on his very first weekend as a Formula One driver 😒🙃🫠

For good measure here's Daniel discussing the possibility of increasing the pit lane speed limit back on Dax Shepard's F1 podcast back in 2023:
Dax: How would you feel about getting rid of the speed limit in pit lane? Daniel: Oh, so mate. When I got to F1 - so now the speed limit's 80 kilometers an hour, which is 50 [mph] and when I got to F1 it was 100, so call it 60 [mph]. Already 100 kilometers an hour, I remember I was like, this is quick in pits. Because you, obviously, you've got to pull in the box and there's a dozen guys there and also visibility is not great. I remember when they brought it down to 80 I was like I'm kind of happy about this. I could not imagine not having a speed limit. Dax: Which they didn't used to have, correct? So, dudes were going like 170 miles an hour. Daniel: Dude, there's videos. After we're gonna watch some clips and you're gonna freak out. Dax: I can't imagine anything more fucking dangerous and chaotic. Daniel: Yeah

Formula One are considering increasing the pit lane speed limit as a potential solution to increase the viability of multiple strategies for each race and prevent every race being a nailed on one-stop, as has been the case in most recent races. This is despite the fact that the pit lane speed limit has been in place since 1994 to protect both drivers and pit lane crew/mechanics/bystanders etc, with even slower speeds being introduced in 2004 (100km/h) and then in 2017 (80km/h). I understand Formula 1 and the FIA's desire to increase entertainment and racing spectacle, but I genuinely think it's a slap in the face to drivers, teams and fans if the only way that the "pinnacle of motorsport" can make racing exciting is by compromising on safety.

unfollowed both nico's too. possibly romain grosjean, felipe massa and webber
Why Felipe Massa and not Jenson Button?? Is it because of the gba?? The fond memories of gba?? Do you think he’s drunk off his ass when he decides to do those Instagram cleanups and it’s all based on whimsy and vibes??
