On top of all the other shitty health stress this week, the stupid hurricane knocked the power out at the psychiatrist's office and so now I can't have my intake appointment to get one of my medications refilled, so I guess I'll be suffering antidepressant withdrawal until I can get an appointment since I already used up the 72-hour emergency supply earlier this week. Time to suffer.

If V!Cole were ever to get his own body somehow, he would basically have his draconic features flipped (so like Cole's wing is on the left... but V!Cole's would be on the right...) cause yknow.. complementary... Yin Yang.... the whole aesthetic of V!Cole and Cole being Yin Yang and complimentary opposites... uhh...

Okay yeah. Also it's stated in the notes but Cole's orange and green parts will glow whenever he's agitated, annoyed, passionate or getting ready to fight. Cause if you didn't notice it's pretty obvious that they're supposed to be similar to his ghost scar and lava arms. So uhh yeah

I really think stone ocean is under appreciated so yeah that's a good pick, pucci is a fucking awesome villain (and also kinda hot but which JoJo villain isn't honestly) and the ending is so well executed

shame we didn't get to see the iconic anasui mickey moment in the anime though :(

oh for SURE, the anime improved people’s perception of stone ocean a lot, but before? people just straight up used to shit on it <\3 very sad considering i think the last half of so is on par with steel ball run in terms of quality.

i love pucci as a villian too!! the made in heaven arc is peak jojo for sure. stone ocean also improved on jotaro’s character SO MUCH and i honestly think people don’t mention that enough.

(we may have lost the mickey scene, but at least anasui stayed pink <\3 i’ll take what i can get when it comes to anime adaptations lmao)

Loved the thematic use of falling in across the spider-verse

The several repeated shots of characters falling off of things and often mimicking the iconic framing of the amazing spider-man 2; worked in well with the whole idea of canon events

It also makes me scared for beyond the spider-verse

so i showed my mom the pics i had saved, including the guy i called "my boyfriend" and she explicitly said "aw you and your boyfriend" and so i said "i dont really remember much about him honestly" to try and prompt her to tell me literally anything and she went dead silent before moving on. like??? hello???? am i just reading into it too much or??????? like i know he was dads friend but he was around enough that surely my mom would be able to say something about why i liked him so much??

anyways on the plus side i had a feeling i havent really had in like, a decade; the urge to just fall asleep, content, with the lights on.

thats something i used to do consistently as a kid. i'd read until i got dead tired and then just fell asleep with the light on, either using a blanket or my book to cover my eyes (sorry sib2, that mustve annoyed the hell out of you). i was just laying here in bed drawing and to have that feeling again felt very nice, very good, very happy, and very satisfying.
