Bernie Sanders made an appearance at the Coachella Music Festival where he introduced Clairo and spoke to attendees briefly about the chaos in America thanks to the Trump administration and Elon Musk.
Trump was also massively booed when Bernie brought his name up.

Here's Bernie Sanders answer to the question of how someone can vote for Kamala Harris while disagreeing with her position on the war:
TL;DW:
Harris supports an immediate cease-fire, the release of hostages and a surge of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Trump and his cronies see Netanyahu and his government as right-wing allies, and have encouraged Netanyahu (who would prefer Trump to win) to continue the war in Gaza. Sanders says he and Harris will work together to change US policy towards Israel, pushing for an end to settler attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank, and the rebuilding of Gaza for Palestinians.
Gaza is an important issue, but allowing Trump to become president will harm women and minorities in America, undoing decades of progres; entrench the power of the rich and tilt the economy even further against ordinary Americans, and basically condemn us to unchecked global warming.

It’s not lost on me that Bernie Sanders is the only mainstream politician touring the country rn listening to Americans’ concerns, giving them hope that a better world is still possible. Not campaigning for President, not an election year, just inspiring swing town voters to use their power to incite change in their communities.
Bernie is 83yo, doing the work that every single Democrat could be doing simply in their own district. He’s packing overflow rooms by the thousands in suburban and rural towns, not “democratic strongholds”. It is possible to get through the next four years but the status quo Dems aren’t going to make that happen.
Imagine what a true progressive party could do for the US. Leftist policy is popular and wins elections. Bernie and others have told us this for decades. If you tuned out his message before, I have to wonder what side you’re truly on. Because his shtick has not wavered with everyday Americans.
Not me, us.

I write a lot. There are a million stories in my head right now itching to escape the hellscape I call a brain. the worst of them? what is happening right in from of me? the country is in a state of chaos. we have turned it into the ouroboros. On the one hand, there are people who support Trump. They scream about fraud and waste. They cheer for cutting funding to things that sound ludicrous. Trump says send the illegal aliens away, we don't want criminals and thugs in our country. But when a judge stands up and does what he is supposed to do he gets threatened with everything from legal action to harm. mike johnson has threatened to find a way to take funding from districts with what they are calling activist judges. (which, for those with half a brain, are just judges doing their actual non-partisan jobs) Congress members on the right are trying to set up rules that will take down certain rules. They have been shipping people to other countries like FedEx packages and leaving them in prisons that look like concentration camps. A group of people in high positions in the administration leaked some really bad stuff to a reporter after they declared that actions like that would have grave consequences. no one was punished. And they laughed it off with my bad. The left? They have tucked their tails between their legs and decided hiding till the fire goes out will suit them best. But what they don't seem to be getting is that every minute of inaction gives the other side the leverage they need to keep this nightmare going. I am not a person who stands on either side. But I am a person. We need to do something. The opposition needs something more than Jasmine Crockett and AOC yelling or making TikToks. They need to stand up and be heard. We all do. Free speech still exists, and as long as it does, I will not be silent. because I do not give my consent to what is happening. Now will not be scared into being quiet. That kind of thing is just not who I am.
