Ramattra Drabble

You came home with bags full of groceries, instantly heading to the kitchen to put everything away when you feel a set of hands snake around your front.

“Welcome home.” Ramattra presses his face against your ear, a slight vibration tickling you.

You lean against him, a soft smile gracing your lips. “Hey, how was work?”

He hums, pulling you flush against him. “The usual. Did you get everything you needed?” The omnic looks down to the various bags that litter the countertops.

You let out a small sigh. “I did-“

“I hear a ‘but’ coming.”

“But, if you would’ve kindly let me finish,” you turn around in his arms, hands roaming up his chest. “They no longer sell those waffles I love.”

“What a tragedy.” Ramattra chuckles.

“It is!” You playfully tap his chest. “They were my favourite.”

“I am certain you can live without them.” He states, tone a low frequency.

“That isn’t the point.” You huff before Ramattra presses his faceplate against your cheek. “You’re all lovey-dovey. What did you do?”

“I have not done anything.” He tilts his head as he pulls back, though in his mind, he can't wait much longer.

You hum, not entirely believing his words. This didn't feel right. He wasn't usually this close with you unless he had done something wrong or required something...

Or his systems were on the fritz...

The omnic turns the subject quickly, a silent heat burning through his wires. “Let me help you unpack.”

The annual four-day international market is back in town!

Started the food sampling weekend easy with some marketplace crepes and hot chocolate (it started raining partway to my exploration, and the stand was the closest with covered tables, and the crepes are good so that's bonus!)

Also got myself a new hat, as I broke my old work hat a while ago and needed a replacement.

Fiera

Belgium was the weekend for birthday celebrations. After a delectable dinner at La Bonne Chère in Brussels we celebrated another birthday with lunch at Fiera in Antwerp. The restaurant sits in the old stock exchange, building which has been adapted to today’s comfort level without loosing anything of its magical ambience. first look inside @Fiera dining area @Fiera all is ready for diners…
