Welcome to my third tournament, the Angels vs Demons tournament! It will feature two brackets running side-by-side; a full bracket of angel or angel-themed characters, and a full bracket of demon or demon-themed characters

At the end of it all, the winning angel and the winning demon will face off in their own special poll to see who comes out on top

You can submit as many characters as you want, but only submit each character once

I love how you write fucked up JayTim. Even when Jays being horrible and sadistic he still *needs* Tim’s approval, his attention. Needs Time to want him to crack his chest open to see if their hearts beat the same. If Tim wanted fucked up Jason he seems so devoted to Tim he’d let that little fucker keep him on a leash just so Tim would tell him to do all the fucked up things to him. (Also as an aside I could just imagine Jay/Steph/Tim where Jason is devoted to both those little gremlins and Steph is constantly encouraging him.)

thank you so much, this is so sweet! i absolutely *love* when people just Get It and the dynamic i'm trying to portray comes across correctly. like yeah, this perfectly describes it. Jason is the Worst and would do anything to hurt Tim, but he still desperately needs Tim around. anything to get Tim to pay attention to him is worth it. obsessed with how he just wants to rip Tim open. everything you said just. yes.

AGREED on JayTimSteph, oh my god. Steph would make a delightful enabler for Jason bc she also knows what it's like to get dragged into TIm's gravitational pull and end up so utterly enamored by him that she'll do morally questionable things for him. (like accidentally starting a gang war so he can prove himself.) and Jason should get to be weird about Steph more! so much of her life mirrors his, so much of his anger is reflected back in her. i want him to try to rip her open and see what's inside just as much as he does Tim. they could match each other's freak so well, while Tim is in the middle just trying to keep his head on straight. Steph and Jason deserve to make each other worse while Tim is desperately trying to pull them from the ledge. it's just. god it's such a good OT3 and it never gets explored for all the fucked up potential it has. stop making Steph the cute comic relief. explore her anger and trauma and let her be just as fucked as Jason is, especially *about* Jason and Tim. bc she would be the real winner in that threesome. stuck between the devil on one shoulder and the angel on the other and being the one in between their fights, deciding if she wants to meditate or instigate.

i need to yell into the void about this because is anyone else losing their mind over zayne's anecdote 'still in the dark'??!!?? like WHO was in that writer's room because i might need them to give me compensation for the rollercoaster of emotions i went through

[major spoilers below while i yap about it!]

so (to my understanding) it's set in the far future in some kind of alternate universe/post-apocalyptic "dream" setting where linkon has become an old, almost mythological, city, and the world is overrun by wanderers, some of which are humans who have transformed into 'abominations'. everything has become automated so that humans no longer need to go outside unless absolutely necessary for safety reasons. i thought this premise was so interesting!

zayne is now a vigilante who uses his evol powers to kill wanderers. his parents both passed when he was young, his father turning into an abomination, forcing zayne to use his evol in self defence. he's incredibly distant from society, until he saves a young orphaned boy named georgie from a wanderer attack and starts looking after him. he gives georgie a safe place to live, and keeps him company.

in his spare time, zayne watches old medical tv dramas, enjoys eating chocolate, buying sweet treats, and taking care of his jasmine flower. it's then revealed that since he was 12, he's had dreams of another life where he's a surgeon and there's a girl who loves him.............. LIKE STOP??? OUCH??? THIS IS SO ANGSTY, HE WANTS TO BE THE PERSON LIKE IN HIS DREAMS AND WITH THE GIRL HE LOVES SO HE TRIES TO IMITATE THAT PERSON RAAAAAA I NEED TO HUG HIM

when zayne sees the red dot on his sensor right near him indicating that georgie is turning into an abomination, my heart SHATTERED!!

i was expecting this anecdote to be just another bit of fun backstory set in linkon, so i was a bit blindsided by the bleakness of it all TT BUT that didn't mean i didn't enjoy it, it was such a good read!

(Belatedly) celebrating the one-year anniversary of the 'Destiny Bond' comic with a rare, fully-illustrated piece. A bit of extra context and rambly thoughts under the cut 🫶💖💕

A little over a year ago, I posted the first part of the Destiny Bond comic, originally intended to be a one-off doodle exploring the consequences of Morty's prophetic abilities on his relationship with Eusine.

That sketchy doodle of mine ended up being a whole narrative project spanning across a few months, before I eventually took a pause on it to focus on my mental health (having reached a low earlier in the year).

It was a daring enough project in and of itself, especially with how I had spontaneously taken it on when I was still recovering from a years-long burnout with 2D art. Though (temporarily) stopping sooner than I had hoped, I can confidently say that this little comic project of mine had helped to rekindle my love for drawing as a whole, and had further lead me to meeting some of the most wonderful people and friends in this small corner of the Pokémon fandom (whom also happen to be obsessed with these two silly guys from the GSC/HGSS games). It's a project I hold dearly to my heart, and one that I hope to revisit and continue once I feel ready to do so; as the story has yet to truly kick off (I'm not even joking we're still in the prologue technically I'm yelling /lh).

I hope to be able to share the rest of this story with you all one day, in whatever new form it'll take as. For now, I want to say thank you, from the deepest parts of my heart, for supporting this passion project of mine - and to assure you to tune in for the future of this title. 👀✨
