While hollow was imprisoning the Radiance thwy were totally bribed with their wants and desires by Her. to be presented the opportunity to live a life as not an "object" to be sacrificed, but as a beloved child of wyrm and root. and this fantasy is what kept their mind simultaneously full of shame and comfort for ages because while they failed the meaning of their existence, dreams would allow them to cope
