My fellow Tumblr folks,

My life situation has me with no internet access except for my phone. It's a long story, which some of you know. It's not likely to change anytime soon.

As a result, all my media has to be either via antenna on the TV, or on physical media on DVD/Blu-ray.

I can't buy many of the shows I want to see. I can only subscribe to a service I can't use in my home, and hope and pray that they never take it away.

So I'm well aware that there are other options. I just don't know what they are. I have a laptop I can take somewhere with a strong wifi, and a DVD burner.

I know that nobody is going to blatantly post about their "archives" on popular social media sites.

So, if you know where to go, hit me up in the the DMs. You can even message me and ask for my email if you want to be even more discreet.

My BFF bought me a R4 card for Xmas 🎄 so naturally I loaded the CFW up with a Xmas Tama theme and all the DS Tamagotchi games available in English!

An R4 card is highly recommended if you don't want to buy a bunch of old ass games for premium prices. Also good if you don't want to wear out your game cartridges. The bonus is that you can carry your entire DS library with you on one cart 👌🏿

I'm reading The Republic of Pirates by Colin Woodard and he thinks the historical Edward Teach (or Thatch, Woodard thinks it could have been either or else an assumed name altogether and just calls him Blackbeard most of the time) was from Bristol.

And...

I know regional accents change over time but I find it so funny to think the historical Blackbeard might have talked more like Stephen Merchant than how Taika Waititi plays him

Like I now really want to see Stephen Merchant have a recurring character in s2, whatever that might look like.

Although unpopular my opinion is that piracy is wrong. illegally downloading books, tv shows or flix is morally dubious and erroneous . I will stand by this opinion I will write it in ink or carve it on stone or whatever

I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) id rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. Seriously, free and no ads or viruses with 1080p streaming is DEAD.
