Wellcome to Night Vale #48

Ok, let's give it a try. Actually, I'm a bit dissapointed. Although It's good to have Cecil back and Kevin is more than creepy, I hoped he'll stay as radio host for some more episodes. I'd like to hear him narrating about some underground movement causing Strex Corp troubles. Maybe with some addicional underground brodcast from Carlos and/or Dana. Maybe even with using Fey? I'd like to see (hear) more characters fithting for their freedom: Megan for example. Or Steve Carlsberg. I'd like to hear about Carlos saving Cecil - that would be very romantic :). Still: It is good to have Cecil back. With his cat, of course and the words "He is holding a cat!" are already a meme. Idea with Erika helping Cecil was great. And there are some things that can develope nicely. Like the fact, that the Smiling God seems to be not a concept, but an existing entiety. Or, what happened to Carlos, who is still missing. Or, what happened to other citizens: like Tamika, Cecil's niece, Megan, Steve Carlsberg. Not to forgeting John Peters - you know, the farmer. Or Sherif's Secret Police. Or The Man Who is not Tall and The Man Who is not Short. They might have some stories to tell.

Plus, Kevin is still alive (functioning?) and free. So is Lauren. We presume the cats haven't eaten them :P. Strex is still formally the owner of the radio and of entire city.
