Tbh, I've wondered each time I've rewatched if Tonis's arm is the only major loss in Rosa's family with the whole Knives fiasco. I don't know enough about pregnancy orhealth in general to have more than a vague idea, but the Nebraska garbage, E.G. the Mine, and then Knives going down can't be good for that baby

(I also hope, someday, when they're all less immediately traumatized, both Meryl and Vash get to meet up with the two again because I think both Tonis and Rosa would be thankful that their lives were saved when, you know. Not in the immediate, horrifying aftermath. And both Meryl and Vash could use hearing that)

I will admit, it's a little embarrassing since you can easily see the patterns of what I've been listening to for the past year or two. I swear I listen to more than just videogame OSTs, these songs just jive well with the story and I often find lyrics distracting when brainstorming scenes. Regardless, the music I listen to is such an important part of my creative process and some of these songs really defined the scenes I now have locked in my head. So I figured it was only fair to give them the credit they're due.

I will continue to add to this playlist, and will note in comic updates when one of these songs is applicable!

You know, it would be amazing if Hollywood learned the right lesson from the success of Nimona. Something like "Hey, maybe don't throw out a nearly done movie as a tax write off" or "people want queer stories" or even "don't be afraid to take some storytelling risks and be original" but you just know they're going to come away with some absolutely batshit takeaway like, "next time delete all the evidence and burn it to the ground so the gays can't make us look bad!"
