And now for a big one!! Here's something I made for last year's Odaiba Memorial. I had been planning it since the previous year and it took me a while to complete but I'm so proud of myself for having finished it in time :')

Digimon has been a huge part of my life since I was very little and I grew alongside the various seasons of the anime so I wanted to pay a little homage to it by drawing all the main protagonists so far! Random headcanons:

Masaru DOES have googles. Although to find them or force him to admit he has them, you will need to walk through his dead body.

Hiro also has googles, but he didn't wear it much because he thinks it's a bit childish. And since he met Gammamon, he hasn't even taken a look of them anymore. It's because he worried that Gammamon will break them, and he secretly loves them.

No one will know about these facts, even each others, the two have make sure of it!

This user discovered Hiro's birthday (and when Ghost Game takes place -- it's an Alternative Universe for 2021-2022!! )

Hiro was born in May 2009. The exact date is still a mystery, i suppose? But the user also points out a few options: 11-14-17-19.

My guess is that the smudged number is actually 14. In 2022 the only episode close to one of those dates is The Crimson Banquet, which aired on May 15.

My logic? Going by the fact Masaru's birthday is on April 2 -- same date the first episode aired -- and Haru's is on July 1 -- there was an episode airing in that date, and it was when the last ED of the series, Perfect World debuted -- i suspect Hiro's birthday could be hinted by the episode air date which is closest to either of those options.

And because that smudge makes me think it's a "4" and not "1", "7" or "9".

#digimon ghost game #digimon: ghost game #hiro amanokawa #amanokawa hiro #hiro and gammamon #izzyizumi posts #(OK so Fun Story Time)#(Way back in 2k13 during Tanabata of that year I was very actively involved in a big 'pan-fandom' wide r.p. {role-play} game)#(This wasn't on Tumblr but it was elsewhere and Anyway so I wasn't playing from DigiAdvs at time though I did have my Koushiro he was just)#(Getting Started with my Koushiro Voice Testing & at time I was testing out other charas too & one is like Japan EmbodiedTM)#(Im Not Saying Who They Were {I had a few Similar} but anyway 2k13 was the year immediately after Grandpa on my not-Jew end passed)#(and I was close to Grandpa on that end & Grandparents in general too & Grandpas passing at time hit me *super* hard too)#(At same time. Multiple people were dropping from the rp game {it was still pretty active but} it had been slowing a bit as a result)#(So I got the idea to have my chara hold a Tanabata event post and it actually got like 1200+ comments total)#(of course half of those were replies during threads but anyway it was a surprisingly big success for me to have made that event work)#(At the time my charas 'wish' had simply been 'I hope for the remainder of the following year to be Good')#(What my Chara meant was 'I do not Need a Wish but if I have one I hope everyone elses Wishes can come true for them')#(and also 'if I must make a Wish I would Wish to not {be the only one left here} by the end of That Time')#(and my rp partner who threaded with me had their chara be like 'I'll wish for your wish to come true' & wrote it in charas 5 languages)#(They didnt Know I also meant re the rp games stability but like anyhow that event post was one of my most fun rp experiences ever)#(Fam deaths hit me super hard & I was in a very dark place at time but being able to experience that event really helped me that year)#(I probably wouldn't have kept this blog running on queue for as long if it hadn't been for things like That really helping in between)#(in general I'm really grateful cultural holidays like Tanabata still exist for Japanese people especially as I am {myself} a Jew)#(& we have our own cultural holidays & they may clash at times with Concepts but at the same time I *do* believe we can have solidarity)#(anyway im super Super Happy that if not Koushiro. *Hiro* could get a Tanabata piece because I feel it fits Hiro+Gammamon a TON too)#(Hiro would definitely be the type to be like 'I wish for the remainder of the year to be Good {for Everyone}' & Koushiro Would Too)#(but it does kind of Hit in a Certain way for Hiro+Gammamons storyline in itself Too & I'm just super grateful Hiro could get July theme)#(because if it really couldnt be Koushiro. & I wanted Koushiro for either Tanabata or Aug 1st in itself if not rainy season {June})#(Hiro was Next Best Choice & anyway This is also what I mean when I say I think cultural themes with this series should be Acknowledged)#(When They Happen in Various Official Arts or even eps INVOLVING the Chosen themselves because these are *cultural specific holidays*)

I'd like to think that GulusGammamon still cares for Hiro, albeit in his own twisted way

Like, that one scene before Dead End Skewer, he could've just killed Sealsdramon right then and there, but he waited and expected Hiro to be the one giving the orders. He wanted Hiro to take charge because he still sees him as his tamer in some way, he still has his respect. But when Hiro hesitated, he was disappointed. Because of his 'Eat or be Eaten' motto, he couldn't let Hiro hesitate and he couldn't let himself hesitate

Also when Hiro stepped in front of him to defend the others, he at least had the decency to tell him to move out of the way. He'd crush the others, but there was still some level of care, enough for him to tell Hiro to get out of the way. And when he finally snapped out of it, he realized that if he were to kill his tamer, someone he cares about, it'd be like Bokomon all over again; A person he loves being killed by a mindless monster who only wants a body count

Headcanon: Scents

I can't find any scent guideline for my favorite characters, and I am quite sure there're no A/B/O fics in AO3. Although this's not for A/B/O, and just a headcaon, but you know what? Be the change you want to see.

"Fragrance": a light, comforting, chill, easy-to-notice scent that you will catch when passing over.

"Odor": a strong, clear, direct, hard-to-notice scent that you only can see when they are having strong emotions, with different shades based on their feelings.

"Smell": a specific, hidden, deep, important scent that you can't feel except when they are really close to you, see you as their important one, and have no caution to you.

Now for the list:

Yagami Taichi has a mixed scent of light peppermint fragrance, energetic dark chocolate odor, and chill cedarwood smell.

Motomiya Daisuke has a mixed scent of cloying honey fragrance, burnt bacon, and tender maple sirup smell.

Matsuda Takato has a mixed scent of viscous vanilla fragrance, spicy cinnamon odor, and soft bread smell.

Kanbara Takuya has a mixed scent of vibrating campfire fragrance, spicy barbecue sauce odor, and smoky coal smell.

Daimon Masaru has a mixed scent of amber fragrance, warm meatballs odor, and sharp brown sugar smell.

Kudou Taiki has a mixed scent of flour fragrance, tropical pineapple odor, and fresh green apple smell.

Akashi Tagiru has a mixed scent of new cupcake fragrance, zesty orange odor, and bitter ozone smell.

Spooky time. Everyone is just getting ready.

Space-time shenanigans means that Rui-kun has a ton of digi-siblings... Tagiru is something a bit hard to handle since of that strong chaotic energy, but Haru and Hiro are chill and nice!

I guess Hiro is just feeling a bit tired... did something happen though? Maybe he had to deal with a digimon causing trouble (again) in his world.
