But i do think like, Daisuke barely hates others. He might have grudges on them for a while, but there's no hatred involved. Unless you're someone who got nothing good inside and only lives to cause chaos and misfortune to others (like, y'know, Vamdemon)

In some material i forgot which one was, Daisuke's comments on Mummymon probably implied he would've been friends with Mummymon if weren't for the circumstances they met, that if i'm remembering it correctly? I dunno, but take it with a grain of salt.

The thing is that Daisuke is the kind to give others a chance. His heart and opinions change a lot, and he's very open-minded as well.

I really think he never got to hate for the Kaiser or other bad guys for real, because he's the kind to give them a chance if there's hope for them to change, repent and fix their mistakes.

He also never hated Takeru imo, he was scared a ton about Takeru's presence simply replacing his, and that all the people he had so far would forget his whole existence.

He's a humble person who does not believes he's better than others. And his worstest and shallowest episodes are ep 4 and 7 because he was also under the fear of Takeru being cooler and nobody else start to not care about him anymore. Yeah, he was pretty much looking up for attention and validation -- things he conquered through 02 and this is why his Kizuna/02TB era song entitled RUNNING MAN, has a part in which he thanks everyone for supporting him (and does it in both Japanese and English!)

This boy had learned a lot through his path and i deeply love him.

Space-time shenanigans means that Rui-kun has a ton of digi-siblings... Tagiru is something a bit hard to handle since of that strong chaotic energy, but Haru and Hiro are chill and nice!

The differences between Takato and Haru

(This meta was requested by @digitalgate02​, who also assisted me with a large portion of it. Thank you for your help!)

Takato and Haru often beg a lot of comparisons because of the fact they go so against the usual “brash hero” archetype common to not only Digimon but also shounen franchises in general, being significantly more mild-mannered (on a language level, they’re also the only Digimon protagonists to date who use the more polite boku first-person pronoun instead of the more assertive ore). Haru himself even points out in Appmon’s very first episode that this kind of personality would normally be more suited towards a side character than a protagonist!

Because of that, Haru is often considered to be a spiritual rehashing of Takato, and many have tried to make close parallels between the two, but while the desire to make comparison is naturally understandable, the truth is that beyond surface temperament, the two characters actually have very little in common. In fact, both Tamers and Appmon take rather different approaches to their definitions of a “conventional hero”, and that results in both Takato and Haru having very different roles in the plot.

Daisuke and Tagiru

Ever since Tagiru’s concept was announced, people have been comparing him to Daisuke, and, honestly, it’s hard not to – in fact, considering that Xros Wars did certainly have some degree of trying to invoke stuff from older series, it’s very likely this is intentional! You have someone introduced as a junior to a prior protagonist, who wears goggles like him (and eventually inherits the senior’s pair), wears blue, has a blue dragon-like partner, is more hot-headed than said senior…

…and that is about where the similarities stop!

Still, I think such prominent base profile details practically beg one to make a comparison, so let’s dig in!

What do you guys think about new Digimons that introducted in Digimon Liberator?

Everyone is just wanting to know more about those peeps and mons.

But Takato is just being the biggest digi-nerd wanting to know EVERYTHING about those new mons as if he were some sort of digimon professor. Hiro is also wanting to know them, but not on high levels as Takato. Possibly out of curiosity.

(OG Taichi and Masaru want to know more about them for "diplomacy reasons", but everyone knows it's because they just think those new mons are cool)

Daisuke is just hoping they all can be friends and not have to fight because he saw Cendrillmon's special attack and went on a whole "Y'know, don't make that digi-girl angry I mean, HAVE YOU SEE HOW SHE OBLITERATED THOSE OTHER ONES?!"

Few days ago friend and I were gushing about the Liberator's new mons and then when we suddenly started talking about HeavyMetaldramon, @surprisedrive (Aka) commented about seeing it as Arresterdramon final (aka "Mega" or JP "Ultimate") form and i immediately approved that.

Now i'm picturing Tagiru starting a heavy metal band in his high school years or young adult years, lol.

I mean, look at this big guy here:

i don't care what people think about it, it's a very cool design imo. Tagiru would totally love this kiddo.
