The whole Amanda Marie chick doesn’t make sense to me.

Like how do you go from being mad that your grandchild, who I’m assuming she has custody of, is acting out in school to the point his teacher is contacting you on the regular. Get mad and say “ He has an IEP.”( which isn’t a get out of jail free card). Like I get not wanting to create the cycle of “ He acts out enough, he gets to come home.”, but still why get mad about teachers communicating the behaviors being displayed.

Then she gets mad because her grandchild has criminal assault charges against him. Filed by who? I don’t know. But she didn’t find out via the teacher, no it was a lawyer, don’t know who’s lawyer though. Even though we’ve seen first hand cops don’t give a small percentage of a fuck when it comes to what your disabilities are most days.

Now she recently posted a videos saying that her grandchild will be going to a behavioral school for anywhere between 6 months to a year.

Like there are steps a school had to take when it comes to disciplining students, and they truly have to have their ducks in a row when it comes to students on some type of IEP/BIP or some type of plan pertaining to a disability. Like I’m talking documenting every incident, and be able to show what happened, the events that lead up to it, how it was handled, etc.

But all of this, ALL OF IT, was stitched or greenscreened on TikTok by teachers were like “ Ma’am, we have to call you when it…you know what nvm.” Because every educator follows “ Cover Your Ass” and writing down “ Contacted guardian at 2:23 pm, explained what happened, was told not to call unless student is trying to commit arson.” Hell, I follow up with every phone call with a quick overview of what was said via email or Dojo message because you’ll never catch me lacking.

There’s something so poetic and heartbreaking about Mary not wanting to hurt her mother. It’s not out of pity or wanting to ease the strain of the divorce it’s just purely a daughter’s love for her mother who’s always been there. Her mother who has never tried to make Mary feel outcasted or othered or unloved.

Even when Mary KNOWS that something is wrong in her bones, she cannot force herself to do anything but trail after her mother and try and make her proud even if what she’s doing could get her hurt. She loves her mom. And it sucks that the last she saw of her was her mother trying to kill her.
