“During the production of Frozen, there were lots of ideas about how Elsa would put up walls (both literal and figurative) to keep Anna at a distance. This piece was exploring that concept, circa 2012.”

In “Let It Go” Elsa learns to love her powers. She finally embraces her gift and accepts it as a part of her. She no longer has to hide who she is.
In “Show Yourself” she learns to embrace her SELF!! She learns to love herself and know that she is just as special even with powers. She is not a monster.
Both are huge moments in her life. However, even after the first one Elsa is still holds back. She’s still confined to this mold she set for herself. That’s why when she gets to Ahtohallan she lets her hair down. She learns that even though Arendelle means the world to her....it’s not where she’s meant to be. She no longer has to carry the burden of a country on her shoulders. She has found her true place and now she is found. 💖 Her mother knew it all along, but Elsa had to uncover it.

Elsa's Snowflake in Anna's Eyes ❄️
According to The Art of Frozen, Elsa has a "signature snowflake shape."
"If you saw it anywhere in the movie, you'd know it wasn't nature, it was her." — Dan Lund, effects artist.
So, when they pointed out the detail that Elsa's snowflake appears in Anna's eyes as she turns into solid ice, it was like a cruel reminder for Elsa that what she had done to Anna wasn't nature's fault... it was hers.
Though her pupils no longer constrict in the movie, Elsa's snowflakes are still seen all around Anna's eyes!

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since Frozen came out. After seeing the movie on opening day, I was immediately inspired. I was inspired by Elsa’s courage to be herself in the midst of disapproval and her journey of owning her own power instead of suppressing it. Being a closeted lesbian at the time, I longed for the day when I could come out and feel what Elsa was feeling in the “Let It Go” scene. Well, in recent months, I came out to my parents so me and my girlfriend could be fully and completely ourselves. The relief I feel is beyond words so this anniversary couldn’t have come at a better time. While watching Frozen tonight, I thought about that 20 year old girl who watched it for the first time 10 years ago and didn’t know what she was capable of. Here’s to another decade of this movie inspiring everyone to step into their power. ❄️ 🌈

HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY TO ALL FROZEN FANS!!! 🌻❄️❤️🥳🎂🍰🎆
I struggle to believe it's really been 10 years (though for me it's only been 9). This franchise has truly turned my life around and I wouldn't be the person I am today without it. Anna and Elsa were and are the light of my life and I can barely wait to see where their story goes next!
I feared we'd never see the sisters again on the big screen after F2 so the announcement of the continuation of the Frozen saga this year truly came as a gift after more than a year without any new Frozen content.
Here's to another 10 years!

They are so cute!
I LOVE Elsa's wink to Anna in the second gif, and Elsa's smile and chuckle in the fourth gif! She's so poised even when she laughs!
I also love Anna asking Elsa to do the magic, then looking at Elsa's hand for a second, and then excitedly looking at the frost being created!
And of course they link arms at the end ❤️
2 weeks to Frozen's 10th Anniversary!
