Vance has had a six-figure stake in Rumble, an online video platform. The company has played host to Russian propaganda and to far-right personalities like Stew Peters and Tim Pool. It has also featured even more extreme content, including explicitly neo-Nazi images and themes like this song touting the “Reich” and calling for Jews to be placed in ovens from a “dissident rapper” with a dedicated page on the site. The site features a plethora of channels and videos dedicated to the concept of “white genocide,” which is a core belief for white supremacists. It also hosts channels for explicitly white supremacist organizations including VDare and Patriot Front, which has led masked demonstrations around the country.

The extremist fringe must feel over the moon. Thanks to recent actions by Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, they have moved from the fringe to the very heart of political debate in Canada.
It began with a ringing endorsement of Poilievre’s leadership by the hate agitator Alex Jones.
This was followed by a blockade appearance where our would-be prime minister posed by a protest trailer adorned with defaced Canadian flags and the extremist Diagolon symbol.
There was a time when any decent Canadian politician would have gone out of their way to distance themselves from the likes of Alex Jones or Diagolon.
But Poilievre knows exactly what he is doing. The Conservatives are the one party to understand the powerful and distorting influence of the conspiracy fringe on the Canadian political scene. And they have put a lot of effort into exploiting its dark energy. [...]

We’re now banning words? This is at the college level, so we’re not talking about children, we’re talking about grown ass adults that aren’t allowed to hear these words. Teresakayenewman on TT

One of the trad lifestyle’s most potent attractions is nostalgia. When the Neelemans began renovations on their 103-year-old, 2,500-square-foot farmhouse in 2018, they instructed the contractor to expose the original hardwood floors and restore the century-old fireplace that the previous owners had tiled over. They asked for a red wooden barn for their animals rather than the metal ones preferred by modern farmers. “Each time a visitor compliments us on how much they like our ‘old red barn,’” Hannah wrote on Instagram, “I smile. It’s only two months old, but you would never know.” The contractors also demolished the kitchen to bring Hannah’s vision to life, but “we didn’t restore our centenarian home to its original glory only to endow it with a modern kitchen,” she explained. Instead, they replaced the old white stove with a cast-iron AGA model that costs up to $20,000, hid the refrigerator in the pantry, and installed a linen curtain to conceal the dishwasher. Pioneers didn’t have such luxuries, but the Neelemans would—in private.
[...]
The past that tradwives want to return to, an anachronistic pastiche of rugged pioneer individualism and midcentury familial plenty, never really existed. The lifestyle they promote is, like the Neelemans’ faux-rustic kitchen, a thoroughly modern construction: its incongruous elements are concealed behind bespoke doors and linen curtains. These aesthetic signifiers, confused as they may be, point to periods of American history in which white families were prioritized above all others. And some tradwives are explicit about their desire for racial supremacy.

There's several of these blogs popping up in the Ukraine tag all the time posting insane conspiracy bullshit, which is how I found out. I recommend blocking these on sight.

"109 Countries" is BS
The White Supremacist slogan "109 countries" alledges that this is the number of countries that have banned Jews.
Anyone ever have any luck finding a complete list of all those 109 countries?
No?
That's because many of the locations counted in that number aren't countries, but townships. And the same places that banned Jews more than once are counted separately each time that they did. Among several other confections.

"109 Countries!" is simply put, penguin shit.

At first glance, the “Ottawa International Food and Book Expo” might sound like any other ordinary event on the social calendars of local foodies and bookworms.
But not only will this year’s event platform several far-right speakers linked to the 2022 Freedom Convoy occupation, a number of the festival’s corporate sponsors and key employees also appear to be misleading or fake.
This year’s event, held at the historic Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park, is being promoted by Ottawa Tourism as a “celebration of literary culture, crafts, and food.”
The festival is emceed by former Much Music VJ Bill Welychka, features seminars on creative writing and self-publishing and has panels on big philosophical questions — it’s even hosting a “cougar dating event” for singles looking to partner with a “cub.”
While that may sound like your kind of weekend, a closer look does raise a few red flags. One panel features former Ontario PC MPP and anti-lockdown activist Randy Hillier, convoy leader Tom Quiggin and True North’s Andrew Lawton. Another panel features People’s Party leader Maxime Bernier. [...]

As an American, this is my request to international folks: please stop joking about how “crazy” and “messed up” the US is. Not because I’m offended, you’re absolutely right, but because that kinda of rhetoric ignores that the rise of far right politics is happening worldwide. Facism is a global phenomenon.
A similar thing happens in the US, and it happened again now. We pretend that there are “radicals” who keep the nation “divided” when in reality it’s obvious from the polls — just like in 2016 — that the majority of America feels like Trump is the better option. And worse than that, they’re being quiet about it. Political ideologies start with the vocal bigots, but they WIN because of silent supporters. This isn’t just a US issue, it’s happening all across the globe, and pointing at Trump and saying “wow look how fucked they are over there” allows that silent support base to build on an international scale because the attention isn’t on them.
Just to name a few, here are those you should look out for, and more importantly their followers. Please respond with more: Boris Johnson, Marine Le Pen, Benjamin Netanyahu, Viktor Orban, Javier Melei, Jair Bolsonaro, Santiago Abascal, André Ventura, Giorgi Meloni, Narenda Modi, Herbert Kickl, etc. etc. etc.
Don’t turn your head to see a car crash just to run into a telephone pole.
