👛 Tracy is definitely NOT a morning person, so everytime she wakes up the first thing she does is check her phone for a few minutes. After that she gets straight up and opens up her curtains to let the light in.

Then she goes to her bathroom and uses a hair band to get her hair out of the way so she can brush her teeth and wash her face with a gentle foam cleanser. After rinsing it out she uses her skincare products; toner sheets, serum, cream and a tinted sunscreen!

🌷 Now she changes clothes, Tracy usually wears cute knit tops with some plaid skirts in basic colors (white, gray or black) and she also wears some dainty jewelry and leg warmers. Remember to put on a hair roller to style your bangs while you do your makeup!

It's time for makeup! Tracy usually does the same makeup routine, eyebrows, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lip tint and a shiny highlighter, oh! also she only puts on a bit of concealer since the tinted sunscreen already works as a glowy foundation.

🍥 Clean your room a little before packing the last things on your bag and spraying perfume to you out to your uni / school or have brunch!

Tracy usually takes digital notes on notion! and she always includes useful links with videos and resources so she can review them later. For language learning though, she copies the vocab on a notebook and reads it before her test so she can have them fresh in her memory. She also always studies listening to ost of her favorite animes, kdramas or manhwas!

If you're curious on how Tracy takes care of her figure you need to know that walking plays a huge role in it! In her vlogs she always goes to most places entirely by walking! You can do this too and start counting how many steps you walk in a day.

🏩 Also you can try and dance to an energetic kpop song like Hype boy by NewJeans, practicing multiple times a day can definitely replace a workout routine!

If you want to have a selfcare, start your shower routine by taking a long bath, use a bath bomb, some bubbles and candles to set the mood, you can even use a little tray to watch kdramas like tracy!

🛍 Then you can play some music to actually take a shower, take care of your hair with shampoo and conditioner and then clean your body with a cleanser and a loofah.

When you're done it's time for skincare, use some toner pads, serum, moisturizer, eye cream and lip balm! also apply cream on your body and cuticle oil on your nails.

💞 Next you can dry your hair and use some leave-in products to have extra soft and shiny hair!

One of Tracy's keys to look extra cute and pretty always is to get appointments with professionals to get facials, lash perms, haircuts and her nails done!

👚 Tracy usually dines out with her friends or family! After she arrives home she gets comfy so she can have a long study session! If you're a night person, try and get all your assignments done at this time to feel extra productive! And don't forget to have a late night meal/snack.

After getting all her school work done she relax on her bed, often with a sheet mask on (specially on winter) and watch anime or dramas until she falls asleep

✧ this is an old request, but upon re-reading the entire thing after i was done writing i realized i didn't use a singular pronoun throughout. so we sticking with the gender neutral reader here too HAHA. also not beta-read we die like how i let this blog die for a whole ass year.

✧ Shrieks a tiny bit the first time you sneeze and his head is suddenly freezing cold before seeing a tiny snowman topple down from his head - real confused for a good few minutes after, to the point he actually forgets you're the one that conjured that tiny being up.

✧ Stares at it for a couple of seconds, owlishly blinking at the sentient tiny snowman running around in circles before directing his gaze towards you: "You didn't tell me that your ice magic could also summons snowmen upon you sneezing," he remarks, sounding oddly offended about not knowing that detail.

✧ "N-No," you sniffle, "It usually doesn't happen unless I'm getting a high fever," you wheeze, another sneeze resulting in double the amount of snowmen appearing and Ace just stares trying to figure out what the hell is happening.

✧ He's worried for 0.5 seconds before his more mischievous side comes forward: "Oh, so those come out whenever you sneeze?" he asks, just to clarify his theory - to which you who is just a bit too delirious to notice any hidden motif he has, nod without thinking twice.

✧ Like, he sees that you're fine! You may be running a bit of a high fever soon, but you're still fine! You're going on about your days with tons of tiny snowmen following your trail whenever you sneeze, but other than that you're perfectly fine! He'll do his part as a good boyfriend after he's had a bit of fun seeing this unusual side effect from your magic.

✧ Tries every trick in the book to make you sneeze more often when he finally has you tucked underneath some sheets inside your room. Accidentally claps two books together that have accumulated just a bit too much dust your way? More tiny snowmen. Tingles your noise a tiny bit with a feather out of affection? Even more snowmen, and you want to be mad at him, but he's having this dorky smile on his face with a slight blush as he picks up another snowman. "Sorry, sorry! They're just so cute!"

✧ Deuce is rather ashamed to admit this, but the moment he set his eyes on those little snowmen appearing out of thin air when you first sneezed - the fact that you were running a high fever was forgotten. Completely gone from his mind, every worrying thought about your condition had suddenly vanished from his head.

✧ Over the moon seeing those tiny beings trail behind you. Ecstatic when he picks one up and the others just jump on top of his body like this is the happiest he is at the moment, nothing can make his day sour now that these little guys are around him.

✧ "Is this the reason why you try not to get sick so often?" Deuce asks, arms cradles full of the tiny snowmen that you conjure up whenever you sneeze and you can only give a defeated nod in return: "They disappear after a while, but if I'm sneezing left and right it's almost an unending snowman army."

✧ Becomes oddly attatched to every tiny snowmen you conjure up. You don't know why, he doesn't know why either. All you two know is that whenever one poofs away after a while, he gets sad and now you're the one consoling him even when you have a fever.

✧ Sadness is only there for a moment though before he picks himself back up and starts to take care of you: "Sorry, they were just so tiny that I couldn't help it. Come on, let's get you back to your room so you can rest properly."

✧ When he finds out the tiny snowmen try their best to help you too he's just so damn elated. Tries to give them small tasks and just smiles at them fondly when they try their best. You find it nice that Deuce isn't overly worried about you and causing a ruckus to the point you omit the tiny detail that every thing that the tiny snowman deliver to you, arrives freezing cold.

✧ Oh you're cradled up in his arms and off to his room the moment he even sees your red nose and shivering self. No he does not care if it's in the middle of the day and you both have class, you're not taking another step or standing up for another second.

✧ Literally halts in his tracks the moment he sees the first snowman appear when you sneeze. Eyes wide and blinking numerous time as he tries to process what the hell just happened, "I- That, is this normal?" No, Jack. It certainly is not normal.

✧ Vaguely listens to your explanation as he hurries towards the mirror hall and towards Savanaclaw, but every time you sneeze he stops to pick up any stray snowman that doesn't land on either you or him - What if you eventually need them to be absorbed back to get more of your magic back? "That's now how it works," "How would you be 100% sure? You rarely get sick as is."

✧ Keeps a mental note on the amount of snowmen that appears whenever you sneeze and where they scurry off to after they've toppled to the floor while taking care of you.

✧ Besides from the mental counting of snowmen he doesn't really try to touch the little creatures, they're made out of snow after all. Sure they can take quite a long fall to the floor or bounce on the bed whenever you sneeze, but they're so... small? He feels like if he just grabs their body they'll just evaporate from the warmth of his palm alone.

✧ You only laugh at Jack's hesitant face once the snowmen he has tried so hard to avoid touching just start to crowd around him, trying to jump on top of him to climb further up his torso. It's a nice pace of change, seeing your lover who usually runs around from dawn and lifting weights try to be so gentle with magic snowmen.

✧ The first snowman that's summoned from thin air and onto your head is in the middle of potion making class. Epel quite literally shrieks when he notices the snowman roll off your head and topple into the cauldron and drops everything he's currently holding to catch it.

✧ Which was the two beakers with other components for the current potion you were making, the shattering noise immediately alerting Crewel. However before he could even start to reprimand, it only took one mere glance at your wobbling self before he directed his gaze towards Epel who instinctively hid the snowman behind him, "Take them to the infirmary, puppy. They're one minute from falling all over the floor."

✧ And it is with that remark that Epel snaps his head towards you, stepping over and pressing the palm of his hand over your forehead, "Yeah, ya burn' up." he mutters, quickly excusing himself before pulling your weak self out the door. The snowman left behind scurries after the two of you when faced with Crewel who only raised an eyebrow up at it.

✧ He's not having a good time. While he tries his best to drag the barely consicous you to the infirmary, he also have to get a hold on every snowman you summon with each sneeze before they scurry away and wreck havoc. So safe to say, Epel has seen better days.

✧ Has half a mind to gather them and chuck them into a basket and zip it shut and another half to just observe them and see what they do. The former won the moment the two of you entered the infirmary and you let out a number of sneezes, which prompted more snowmen to appear and almost destroy the entire room.

✧ Does feel bad when he comes back to the infirmary after going back to the dorm to grab a few snacks to see a few more snowman appear and just try to pull the string open. Nonetheless, you awaken to Epel peeling off an apple, with a few of the snowmen sitting inside a bowl with a few unpeeled apples, "It took some time, but I eventually figured that they just wanted to help, so now they're just keeping the apples cold for me. Here, have a bite." he ignores the look of utter confusion on your face at the snowman on top of his head.

✧ Utterly appalled. Absolutetly flabbergasted. Disappointed that you, his lover, can not take care of themselves like he can. Barges into your room to see your sniffling self on the bed with a look of utter disappointment.

✧ "And here I thought you were one step above your other brethren the others with you rarely getting sick! And where do I find you right after thinking that? In bed! With a fever! How typical!" He huffs, pulling the sheets away from you despite your weak protests. He is utterly shocked the moment he sees the amount of snowmen jump away from your bed and out through your bedroom door the moment he pulled the sheets away from you, staring at the small creatures scurrying down the hallway of Diasomnia.

✧ "And to make matters worse, you hide tiny snowmen in your bed?! I cannot understand how you humans think!" You do not have the energy to correct him. But before you can get up and try to get those snowmen back into your room, Sebek is already pushing you back down to bed with a scoff, "You are not moving a single muscle until I allow it! Now, I know the young master is strong enough to handle some weak human magic, but I still need to ensure his safety, so wait here!"

✧ And he's off to worry about Malleus after lecturing you. After fuzzing about Malleus for a good half hour, the fae dismisses him with the loud thought of: "Wasn't [Name] feeling a bit sick this morning?" to remind your lover about your condition.

✧ Hence he barges back into your room and interrupts your short nap with a tray that's filled with warm tea and some soup. He scowls at the numerous of snowmen that's running around your room, setting the tray down on your bedside table before he gathers them all up and throws them inside a basket you had lying around in displeasure. They've made enough of a ruckus for a day.

✧ "As weak as you humans are, I would've believed you would still be able to take care of yourself sufficiently enough to not get a fever," he huffs, handing you the warm tea for you take a sip of. "I suppose I can give you some credit for trying to not get sick often, because these?" he starts, raising an eyebrow at another sneeze from you, and before the snowman can even topple down onto the bed, he's already grabbing it and throwing it onto the basket with the other snowmen, "Are quite frankly annoying to deal with." he huffs, picking up the spoon and taking the bowl in his hands, "Now hurry up and drink this soup so you can lay down while I prepare some wet towels."

first off-- an apology :(( im really sorry for just disappearing. i hate it, you guys hate it. i know :( it's really my worst flaw when it comes to writing / tumblr in general, haha~ i get rlly into something and hyperfixate on it (fun fact: bound by blood was written in like 3 days bc i got so into it lol), and then a gradual fallout until i feel burnt out. which then leads to the whole "omg i left for so long, now im anxious that everyone is gonna hate me when i come back and cause i haven't updated in so long and yadda yadda" when i actually want to come back LMAOOOO. which i know isn't true, but like, you know AKSNDK. So i hung out on my anime blog for a bit, then on discord, blah blah blah boring stuff!!

either way, i really am sorry for just dipping for so long. i always came back to check on this blog every once and awhile and to read stories. i really love the little community i built over here and i love all of you guys dearly. you really make this blog such a fun and enjoyable space for me so i hope you accept my apology and we can all still be fun and hang out and stuff <33 i missed you guys dearly.

I am back!! I was planning to come back for kinktober, actually, but unfortunately time just got away from me and I wasn't able to complete everything that I wanted to. This semester has been HECTIC!!! Senior thesis's are no joke, man, no joke. Feeding 600 spiders... every week.... BLEH!! (not cause of the spiders aksjhwfkh just cause it takes so long!! like!!)

That being said-- I don't have a current update schedule yet, just because I don't want to put too much pressure on myself again (burnout is a bitch!!) but~~ as of right now, I have plans for a "full comeback" (read: first fic) to come out the first week of November!! A little teaser of it will be at the bottom of this post too <33

Hopefully, if everything goes according to plan I will have a 'ficvember' (lol), where I post a fic every other week of November and December!! It is not set in stone (read as: I want to have a few fics lined up before I start just so I don't feel overwhelmed) but if everything goes according to plan, it will happen!! I'll make sure of it!!

I also plan to have a follower milestone soon, so stay tuned for an announcement post of that. I have lots of different things I want to do for it, I'm just not fully sure what you guys would like to see! I also updated my wips, so feel free to check them out to see what i've been working on!

Okay I gotta get that out somewhere and you’re the best person to ask that but I feel like my brain is going wild and reaching but like,,, I wanna see the whole design of Godwin‘s Daedalus times because I feel like Crow‘s WRPG riding jacket looks super similar to the one he wears in the Flashbacks where he jumps from the bridge and 🥹🥹🥹 idk it might just be the color and the details but I think that would be so cute. Literally the Daedalus Legend is one of my fav things about Satellite lore.

Finally, finally I can answer this ask! I'm sorry it took so long but I had to go back and rewatch like three episodes to even find young Rex Goodwin's design because as it turns out, the guy is seen in riding gear in exactly two flashbacks in the entire show and I was incapable of finding an animator's reference for him.

So. Allow me to put on my nerd hat and break down my findings for you.

Exhibit A: Crow's riding suit. (These were the best screenshots I had of it). So, basic colour scheme: Brown, black, orange, and yellow/gold. Simple enough. Note the simple collar that splits off into Crow's usual, high collar and the shape of his jacket closure.

As for Goodwin...

Exhibit B: Young Goodwin's first design, as we see him when Crow tells the story of the legendary duellist. And yes, you read that right: Young Goodwin actually has two designs, and as you'll see, this is going to turn out to be a bit of an inconsistency. (Also, excuse the garbage quality of the images. This guy is hard to get a hold of, for one, and for some reason, my internet did not like rewatching this episode.) Anyway, note the lack of sleeves and shoulder pads. Also, no gloves. You could argue that the detailing around the split collar here is also brown-ish gold, though. All around not very safe motorcycling gear. Not much protection offered. Also, there's a button. I could not figure out what for. Moving on.

Exhibit C: Yoing Goodwin's second design, the one we see in the flashback when Yusei talks to him during the DS arc's final duel. Funnily enough, this one has sleeves! And shoulder pads! (And they're not the same colour as Crow's, but vaguely the same shape.) Also, knee pads again. And heavy-duty boots to go with them this time. What's more, the brown-ish/golden detailing is a lot more obvious here. And Goodwin has gloves here, but unlike Crow's, they disappear under his jacket. The colour scheme isn't far off from Crow's riding suit, though.

Finally...

Exhibit D: Their backs. (It was impossible to get a back shot of young Goodwin #2, I'm sorry) What stands out here is that Crow's outfit is all around more detailed. But then, given that Goodwin's outfit is presumably thrown together with whatever he had, whereas Crow's is a professional riding suit, that's not all that surprising. Both have diagonal thingies here. If they serve a functional purpose, I have not found it.

Verdict: So, here's the thing. I can definitely see some similarities here. The shoulder pads have the same shape, both have yellow/brown/golden detailing around the collar and the front of the jacket, and at least going from Goodwin's second design, both have black gloves, too. And, of course, all three jackets are brown. I don't know if that's enough to say that Crow intentionally took inspiration from the man who built the Daedalus bridge, but you can see some nods here and there, I'd say. (If nothing else, it might be a cheeky add-in by the animators.) As for the inconsistency between Goodwin's two designs, allow me to introduce a silly headcanon: Since the first design is seen in Crow's version of the story of the legendary duellist, this may be how Crow imagined him to look. Even though Goodwin's "real" design is slightly different (and safer lmao).

But yeah, make of this what you will! This was all I could find, haha.

from 2nd episode i knew she was gonna try and kill Wednesday or something

she just seemed too nice and there to be a good character

and when they wanted us to think that Weems was the killer? no way i didn't believe it for a second

and i had a feeling that tyler was the monster around 6th-7th episode

still didn't lessen the shock

but I did think that Xavier was behind it for a while

i thought that maybe he drew the monster and brought it to life but i had doubts cus when he brought the spider to life and Wednesday smushed it it disappeared into smoke

so after coming to that conclusion i was positive it wasn't him

okie then now about the ships:

now i know everyone is shipping Wednesday and Enid

but i just don't

there's this feeling i have when i think a couple would be great together and i just don't have it with them

but i do ship Enid and Ajax i just think they're really cute together

i also shipped Wyler really hard until the final episode

don't get me wrong i still ship them but i also have this feeling that i won't anymore

I wanna write my thoughts on my playthrough of totk as I go along (cause I love going back and reading them after finishing), so I'm gonna post them on this blog!! If you're sensitive to spoilers like me, make sure to blacklist "#totk liveblog" :)

It got kinda long so I'm putting it under a cut haha

that being said, my beginning thoughts to the opening of the game were basically OMG ZELDA HI ZELDA I MISSED YOU LOVE THE HAIR OMG HI like she was so cute!!! I LOVED getting to walk with her in the opening it made me like actually emotional. Cause you never get to just!! walk with her and talk in botw!! She's SUCH a nerd I loved her info dumping on the ruins. At the same time I was like "girl please stop walking into the ominous red fog I can hear the chanting in the background getting louder ZELDA PLEASE" and the bit where you have to choose to keep going? It's like the game is giving you a false out, like the following events are your fault because you chose to walk forward and investigate

And then there was the craziness of MUMMYDORF being all like "mm pathetic. weak lil baby sword can't do anything lmao rauru was soooo dumb" and he can identify Link and Zelda on sight despite them being entirely new incarnations which I find very interesting

Then SHE FALLS AND LINK JUMPS AFTER HER AND HE DOESNT SAVE HER AND SHE DISAPPEARS AND AJHDJHDJSNKJAK

Also I got really sad about the master sword?? Fi girl I'm so sorry I promise I'll find a way to fix you :'( when you pick her up on the sky island and she's got 1 damage, less than a tree branch, I was just heartbroken. Though it does make me wonder, how much power has the master sword lost over the millennia, for it to be corrupted so thoroughly by Ganondorf's magic?? Maybe we'll get a chance to get her up to full power later in the game? Maybe reforge her somehow?

On the sky island when I was running around, I was convinced I missed the shirt in the beginning. I got the leg wrap things but no weird toga to go with it?? Straight up thought I somehow missed it even though I practically combed every area I walked through lol. My friend was playing with me and he made it their mission to find the shirt HAHA

The new mechanics/powers are so much fun!! After I got ascend, I kept forgetting I had it at first when I got stuck in underground places, and would wander around looking for a ladder or a climbable wall before I would be like "oh yeah I have ascend" lol. Fuse has been really cool! I love using extra long spears, they're so convenient for tough monsters cause I'm still Very Squishy. OH speaking of, I love that the opening addresses why you're back down to three hearts and a single stamina wheel!! once again, link has Almost Perished. But at least he has a sickass prosthetic from a dead guy!

Ultrahand is SO fun, I made myself a little jet when I was exploring the underground of hyrule with some fans, a 'wing' glider thing, and a ramp made of stone walls. It didn't go too terribly far BUT it got me over the Ganon Gunk I was trying to get past, so it was a success in my book!!

Recall is my favorite. I don't use it much yet but zelda gave it to me. So it Must be my favorite. It was a gift from my beloved.

My horses from my last botw save file are here!! Good to have you guys back :') they don't have their cool armor but I guess I'll just find those sets again :) perhaps new ones also?? (I'm kinda sad I don't have the original save file from my first playthrough; I've replayed a few times but my first playthrough was the one I did all the side quests on, and it had my first really good horse, which was named Mürdur. He was all black, had 5 stars in speed, and was awesome. I fought my first dark beast ganon with him. Maybe I'll look for a similar horse here in totk...)

Horseback combat is AMAZING. I had to fight a huge group of monsters to get through fort hateno and I am still Very Squishy with only 4 hearts and no extra stamina, but I hopped on one of my old botw horses and just did a bunch of ride-by whacks on the monsters and eventually got them all! thank you horseback combat for the bonus damage. god bless

Kinda sad to see all the ancient sheikah tech gone :( I wonder if they'll address where it all went? Did you guys just... re bury it?? Did everything get sucked back into the ground??? Where's the OG sheikah slate?? Obviously we can't have it because then we would have access to the botw runes, which isn't what this game is about, but still!! I like the Purah Pad but I would like to know where it went!

Cave exploration is Very Fun and Underground exploration is terrifying in the best way possible. I found a glow in the dark shirt while I was down there and it has become my default armor piece to wear.

🎈describe your style as a writer; is it fixed? does it change?

Hmm, this is a tough one. I think it's fairly fixed? But also I've only just gotten back into writing again this past year after a long hiatus (see the next answer) so in many ways I think I'm re-learning myself as a writer. So I guess my best answer to this is yes, for now? And we'll see where the next year or two go!

🤲what do YOU get out of writing?

This is an extremely weird way to say it, but you know that feeling when you get the blocks in place in Tetris and it's that ultimate YES of having accomplished something in exactly the right way? It's somehow that but with words. There is a "rightness" and satisfaction that carries over into all areas of my life when writing is happening that I rarely have without it.

Forgive me if this is a bit more of a personal answer than these games usually have, but I've been trying to talk more about it in general so this is a good opportunity! Writing was the thing that got me through a fairly emotionally abusive childhood and having that as a place of consistent safety to return to over and again was a lifeline. Then when I reached high school and college, I ended up in pretty deep depression, though at the time I did not know enough about that to realize that was what had happened. Writing basically disappeared for the next 15 years.

This past year I've finally been able to make progress with the depression and as part of that, writing has suddenly appeared again. Which, on the one hand is incredible and live-giving. And on the other hand it exists with a constant fear that it will disappear again without warning.

That is partly why I finally began posting what I wrote a few months back. I'd never had the courage to try that before and realized that this might help give it a solid place to exist within community that I'd never had before when it was solely a tool of escape and survival. I've been so floored at how wonderful that has been. Having people a) actually read what I wrote and then b) interact with it and enjoy it has been such a point of light and life this year.

That is all a very long way of trying to answer this question, but I'm still working to articulate it for myself, so this is the best I have!

🎙️which one of your fics would you like someone to make a pod-fic of?

Well this is where my "I'm very new to the fanfic world" is going to show again. I don't actually know what a pod-fic is? For the sake of attempting to answer, I'm going to assume it's a podcast/fiction hybrid where possibly the piece is read out by voice actors as something akin to an audio drama? Feel free to correct me if I"m wrong and I can re-answer the question correctly, haha! So if that's the definition, then I think I would say Atandil (by which I mean part 1 of the series and not the whole thing). A lot of the others have some pretty long interludes of memory and musing within the characters' thoughts, whereas this one has more consistent dialogue for the full length of it. Which I assume would translate over the best. But again, I'm just making a guess re what a pod-fic entails, so I could be entirely wrong here, haha!

I can see Bucky’s messy desk in my head and I can also hear how he would cross his arms, roll his eyes, and huff while admitting, okay, yes, he does tease Steve all the time for having so many goddamn colored pencils of the same color, so many fucking pencils that're all the same, and enough sketchbooks to cover the entire floor of their apartment but c'mon... he just needs some more pens. Like, c'moooon, Steve, don't you want a handwritten letter in pretty, sparkly pink gel pen? Mmm yes, I see the wax seal and the fountain pens!

Yeah, I see that. During a sketching or drawing session, especially if its a vent one, is when Steve's desk can get messy. Pencils and pencil shavings all over the place. Paint flecks over his fingers and hands and forearms, smeared over his cheek too probably. But he always cleans after he's done, so when he's writing, he's neat and orderly. Okay though- you said one ballpoint pen and I just. I have this one ballpoint pen myself, black ink, that I'm now imagining Steve would LOVE. I cannot explain how smooth the ink is and how satisfying the weight of the pen is. Like. I literally, when I got it, made up sentences to write down for no goddamn reason because it's such a good pen. Doesn't cramp your fingers or anything. I see Steve with a pen like that. One that he adores too much to part with, y’know? It's a good mass, a good rolling tip, and encourages him to be comfortably lulled into writing a lot.

He turned away to face the brightly lit moon, shining down it's light to the figures. How long has it been he wondered? He had them for company but it only seemed like the butterflies were the ones who truly understood him.

Ah yes, the arhopala anthelus or also known as the Oakblues butterfly, he didn't knew why he remembered the butterfly with such details but it stuck with him longer than he could remember. Swarms of it tend to follow him around, especially his enchanted arm that resembled to a dead tree's rotting branch, leaving bits of bark in its wake

???: Well you never know if you try

The taller figure sighed, his gaze still fixed to the moon. It seems like he's ignoring them

Darling I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I've just been so busy lately! I've had half a dozen books go missing in the last 2 days, and rounding them up has been a nightmare.. And to top it off, apparently Klee, bless her heart, one of her treasures caused a small shockwave within the Knights' headquarters, knocking an entire bookshelf over. Jean forced her to help clean it up as repentance, but it still took the three of us a few hours I've hardly had any "me" time today...

That being said, while I was running those errands from work I had this wonderful idea. I know you said that you slept better when we were together, so I asked Albedo for some help. This is one of my blankets from home, that I use daily, so my scent was already on it. Albedo was able to enchant it with his alchemy to make it so the scent will never fade out! I know it's still a far cry from being wrapped up in your girlfriend's embrace, but I hope it will make you happy. I can just imagine your smile as you read this letter, and it makes me so so happy 💜

Venting about having to do actual work aside, life has been so good lately. I'm always in such a good mood, especially since we write so frequently these days. I do still miss you, and I wish you were here. If I started crying, would you come back sooner? I'm just teasing, don't worry. I made sure Sucrose knew that too, otherwise you know that girl would worry about me forever. She's sweet like that, but still nowhere near as sweet as you 💜

[The envelope that arrives this time is bigger by a few inches, and it seems that it’s been spritzed with vanilla perfume. Opening it shows that there’s more than just the letter in there–– there are several glossy photographs as well. They’re a little amateur, with a few being blurred slightly, but the enthusiasm to take the photos and send them back home is evident. They consist of mundane things like the clouds against the blue sky, the lights of a beautiful city at night reflected on a river, or a picture of some sort of foreign dish, still steaming hot. One picture in particular is simple: a figure contrasted by the light of the setting sun in the background, hands curved together to form a heart shape with their palms and fingers. On the back of this particular photo is written ‘Miss you very much. I promise to come back home soon <3′ and a pretty pink lipstick mark.] 

⠀I hope these photos will suffice, dearest. I’ve picked up a camera as you’ve suggested, but I’m unfortunately still getting used to it. Still, I’ve taken some photographs of some of the everyday things that i see here. Everywhere I look, I can’t help but wish you were accompanying me where I went. But! When I come back, I’ll be sure to bring the camera with me, and we can take plenty of pictures together in Mondstadt. 

⠀Honestly, my day was going rather well. A bit slow, and there was a lack of things to do at one point, but I’m grateful for the rest. I’ve actually stopped at Sumeru, and I’ve settled down here for a bit before I go on my way again. I managed to talk my way into observing several lectures at the Sumeru Academy for a bit, since I got curious about how it was for you when you still attended here. I don’t plan to stay for very long, but one of the scholars who agreed to let me watch has a class tomorrow, and rather bright and early as well. Ah, I do hope I manage to wake up on time, I’d hate to take their hospitality for granted. 

⠀Aside from that, the gift you sent me definitely made my day! The blanket you’ve sent is such a comfort–– much better than the ones I’ve been using. It was a lovely surprise, and it brings back so many memories of my home with you. It’s a wonderful gift, one that I’ll keep by me at all times. I feel so scared to message you after dissapearing for so long and I've been internally debating whether or not to message you again for days. Oh my gosh, you have no idea how excited I was to get this! Also I cannot stress this enough, but you don’t have to feel bad! Happy new years! This year better be better than last year! I actually just got into the final stages of a job interview for a really amazing job, and that interview is tomorrow so this year is already looking up!

Oh gosh, I’m sorry you had COVID! It’s no fun at all, I can tell you that much. I’m just really glad you’re okay!

I will say this again. I would love to keep you as a friend and talk to you, even if it’s on another platform, or the way we are doing so right now. You can wait for 2 years to message me and I would be just fine with that. Again, I’m also an absent friend so it wouldn’t just be you not messaging me, it would be me not messaging you, then realizing it, feeling bad, then messaging you, then forgetting again. I’m notorious for that, and so are 99.5% of my friends, so you wouldn’t be any different! Believe me, it’s not a big deal!
