Allison Hargreeves can understand loss.

She knows the pain that it brings, the way your heart breaks into pieces, how you feel like you can never come back to who you were before.

From losing her brother at the age of thirteen, to seeing another one fall victim to the clutches of an uncontrollable power at seventeen, to dates gone wrong, movies trashed and thrown into the gutter, her family, once so happy now torn apart because she fell back into being the person her father raised her to be. The little girl who used her words to get whatever she wanted without issue, taking away people’s agency, smiling as she got everything she ever dreamed served to her on a silver platter.

She thinks amending for such wrongs can’t be done. That she will live and die with these regrets in her heart, with burdens on her shoulders as heavy as boulders. It’s the only choice she has. Someone like her, controlling her own daughter when she was meant to do nourish and protect her. Even her relationship, once based on truth, became a castle built upon lies and even now, as she cleans up her child bedroom to head back to LA, her mind drifts towards a few minutes prior, where she spilled out her heart to a grieving child, a boy stuck in time, and then watched silently as he disappeared, caught up in his own turmoil and hiding away from the world. Part of her wanted to reach out, to try and heal and help and save, but she always falls short, remembering Claire, her words slipping past her lips so easily, her world becoming easier, steadier, because she had never been born a human being.

She remembers, and then she pulls away, back into herself, not wanting to repeat the same mistakes.

It’s a surprise that it’s the boy who seeks her out, carefully walking into her room, looking around, twiddling his fingers. “You’re leaving?” The boy says, voice thick, raspy, black hoodie still dwarfing him. It hasn’t been long. “Already?”

Allison tries not to cry. “Yeah,” she whispers, closing her suitcase, standing by her bed. The boy hangs his head, scuffing his shoes on the wooden floorboards. “Hey—uhm—” she opens her mouth just a smidge, to get his attention, and then closes it, realizing she doesn’t know what to say.

The boy looks at her. Big green eyes. Messy brown hair. He is thirteen and she is in her early thirties. He is stuck in time, and she is trying to move forward, swimming through the molasses without making any real effort. “I just uh…” Five looks around, digs into his pocket and holds out his hand. “You said you liked this, when—uhm, when you were thirteen.” And a small keychain appears, a Princess dangling from the metal.

Allison blinks at it, mouth agape. “I found it,” Five murmurs, “thought you might still like it. I dunno. I think I hear Viktor calling me. Have a safe trip.” His hands glow blue, electricity flickering around his body, but before Five can blink away, Allison moves forward again, pulls him close and holds his head with her hand towards herself, messing up his hair.

There’s no thank yous exchanged.

No heartfelt sobbing.

But there’s a love there, that makes her heart feel a little less heavy, reminds her that anything, and everything, can be possible.

Sometimes I sit and wonder about the paralels in AFTG and I go like "Woooow Nora's brain" yk?

So here are some of them:

•Jean and Andrew both having suicidal ideations, being number 3, not showing their emotions on the outside but feeling so much on the inside (AND letting people think they doesn't care), protecting Kevin (and others in general) and not accepting help until the situation is critical.

•Andrew and Riko both being separated from their families at birth and creating one by force, Andrew doing it mostly for others while Riko did it for himself.

•Renee and Neil growing up in mafia/gang enviroment and scaping it, the whole Nathaniel/Nathalie thing.

•Matt and Aaron growing up with neglecful parents and them being the reason of their addictions (to similar things also) and being "helped" with that by Andrew's questionable means.

•Nicky and Allison being shunned by their parents for being themselves, forgetting all the other things they did to make them proud and loved.

•Seth and Neil trying to blend in (in different ways but still), dealing with jelousy and then Seth dying his last year with the Foxes and Neil who thought he was gonna die his first year surviving.

There are much more but I can't think of all of them now and didn't write them the last time I thought about this. For me it's awsome how maybe a little desition, a person, a moment... can turn you in an entire different person and this books show that SOOO WELL!!

nicky and aaron spinning maniacally fast on the teacups. dan and matt riding the kiddie rollercoasters and screaming at the tops of their lungs while the little kids look at them funny. andrew and renee making it their unyielding quest to try each and every food this place has to offer. allison and kevin arguing over a horse on the carousel. andrew and neil sitting side by side, completely stone faced as they flip upside down on the biggest roller coaster. kevin screaming in genuine terror on the giant swings. allison and renee having the time of their lives in the funhouse. katelyn making aaron ride on the slingshot with her after begging him the entire trip, then when he finally agrees, vomiting the moment she steps off of the ride. her then conning kevin into buying her a slushy to get the taste out of her mouth, only to vomit blue on the ride home

I’ve never actually watched the final episode of House because I love delusion. If I don’t watch it, it can end however I want…

I don’t have any plans on watching it 🤭🎀

I started this animatic BEFORE season 3 got released and we didn't even knew who the Sparrows were gonna be... and I don't think I will ever finish it so I'm here showing the tiny bit I had of it!!!

for the 30-ish people that gave a damn about my last post here’s an (incomplete) list of of all my Stage Crew!Foxes headcannons

-Dan is the set lead (obviously)

-Renee and Allison are both in charge of painting (all of the guys excluding Andrew and Neil are banned from painting anything except base coats)

-as mentioned before Andrew lost his staple gun privileges after threatening one too many actors with one

-Matt breaks at least one pilot hole drill bit a show but he feels so bad everyone always forgives him (they try not to give him drills)

-Andrew refuses to call himself a theater kid but his entire Spotify is show tunes

-building off of that his favorite musicals are Dear Evan Hansen and Mamma Mia

-Kevin is banned from ever having the aux during work calls because he would only play motivational podcasts

-Kevin is also an absolute snob about shows and refuses to say he likes anything except straight plays (especially Shakespeare)

-Niki puts stickers on the back of ever single set piece he can and will sometimes hide them in the sets (me and my crew do this)

-Wymack is the tech director and Abby is the director (they’re both failing miserably to hide their relationship from both the cast and crew)

-Niki will look up fanfiction for whatever show they’re doing at the time

-Bee always brings food for the cast and crew during tech week and it’s always the best thing there

anyways I love theater and I love being a scenic lead even if my director makes me want to commit sometimes
