"It’s interesting to me that the only time where we have to do this both sides-y rejection is when the victims are Jewish. When we saw a spike in anti-Asian hate crimes over the last couple of years, there was no immediate pushback that said, now you have to reject these other forms [of hate]. In fact, after George Floyd, when we were talking about Black Lives Matter, there was a clear distinction that if you responded by saying, “All Lives Matter,” that yes, that’s true that all lives matter, but if you were doing it reflexively you are denying the real pattern and problem of what was happening in the African American community."

Respond to a post saying "honor police officers who died" with "honor all people who died".
How many people would call that "free speech"? How many people would call that "egalitarian"?
Probably none. Most people would call that downright rude.
That's what's wrong with "all lives matter". And everyone already knows that.

Note
every human being matters.
every single being.
Weird thing to randomly write to us, Anon, but we're guessing you're putting forth an "all lives matter" argument here against the Black Lives Matter movement. But tell us, if "every single human being matters," then why are Black people 3.23x more likely to be shot by police than white people? If "every single human being matters," then why are young Black men 21x more likely to be killed by police than young white men? If "every single human being matters," then why do Black men in the US have a 1 in 1000 chance of being killed by police, more than 2x the odds of white men being killed by police?
Tumblr media
If "every single human being matters," then why do Black people in Boston, who make up 22% of the population, also make up 49% of the people arrested and 69% of the people killed by Boston police? If "every single human being matters," then why are Black Torontonians twice as likely to have an encounter with police and 1.6x more likely to have force used against them during that encounter? If "every single human being matters," then why are Black people in the UK 7x more likely to die following restraint by police than anyone else? If "every single human being matters," then explain this:
Tumblr media
One might conclude that, as far as the police are concerned, Black lives don't matter and Black people can be accosted, physically abused, and killed without the concerns or courtesies that should be afforded to other people. Which is the same as saying that, while "every single human being matters," to the police, Black human beings matter less. It doesn't take away from the humanity of other people to point out that Black people disproportionately suffer from police violence. It doesn't take away from the humanity of other people to point out that Black people are killed by police at far higher numbers than any other group. It doesn't take away from the humanity of other people to point out that Black people are specifically subjected to the worst forms of state-sanctioned violence at rates far higher than any other group. When you respond to Black people pointing out that they are disproportionately targeted for police violence and murder by chastising them with "all lives matter" or "every single human being matters," you're telling them that they should ignore the disproportionate abuse and violence they are subjected to by police. Here's how absurd your reasoning sounds:
Tumblr media
As we once explained to another "all lives matter" guy, if your house is on fire: do you want the firefighters to come and put the fire out, or would you rather they come, telling you "all houses matter," and apply an equal amount of water to all the houses on your block? Here are the core beliefs of the Black Lives Matter movement: -We affirm the lives of all Black people. Our network centers those who have been marginalized within Black liberation movements. -We are working for a world where Black lives are no longer systemically targeted for deliberate and indirect demise. -We affirm our humanity, our contributions to society, and our resilience in the face of deadly oppression. -We affirm the abolition of any system that perpetuates violence against Black people, including prisons and police. -We affirm collective safety and community based support. We keep us safe.
If your response to the Black community and these beliefs is to turn your head, saying "every human being matters," you need to give your head a good, long, hard shake.

Just because it's convenient to be ignorant, doesn't mean it's right to be.
Support the ones in need. All of them. Educate yourself. Read as much as you can about your country, about bans, laws. Figure out what the government hates. Be the thing they hate. Wear your identity on your sleeve, be proud of who you are. Listen to obnoxious music. Wear that weird outfit. Go to protests, pride parades, concerts. Don't be afraid to punch a nazi or a racist or a misogynist in the face. Find ways to break the system. Grow your own plants, mend your own clothes. Protect trees, protect animals. Don't give them your money. Pirate your music, your apps, movies, videogames, whatever else. Show everyone that you're angry and you won't give up. Help anyone who needs it. Give money to the less fortunate. Assist your elderly neighbours. Volunteer at animal or homeless shelters. Recycle.
Once again, educate yourself. Go to the public library. Learn about history. Be active and knowledged in politics. Learn about your heritage. Search in a variety of places. You have the Internet, everything is at the tips of your fingers. You just have to want to look for it. Don't rely on news that comes to you via social media. Usually it's filled with lies and propaganda. Look for the truth, because you know that the government doesn't want you to know the truth. Don't let yourself be dumbed down and controlled. Don't let yourself be silenced.
Don't be ignorant. The world keeps on dying, refusing to acknowledge that and do something won't help in the slightest.

A Call to Action: The Fire Ants—Ignite the Revolution
We live in a system built to exploit, oppress, and destroy. Healthcare is a privilege, not a right. Prisons are factories for profit, not justice. Wars are waged not for freedom, but for corporate greed. Every corner of this system burns us alive while the powerful grow richer. But we are not ashes yet. We are The Fire Ants, and we are ready to fight back.
Like the fire we carry in our name, we burn with righteous rage. Like the fire ant, we swarm togethersmall alone, but unstoppable as a collective. Together, we will light the flame of revolution, swarm over the structures of oppression, and bring the system down to its foundations.
This is not a call for reform. It is a call for transformation. A call to burn away the rot of greed and build something better from the ashes.
What We Fight For
1. Healthcare for All: No one should die because they can’t afford to live.
2. Freedom from Exploitation: Tear down the profit-driven prison system.
3. Peace Over Profit: End the endless wars and reinvest in humanity.
We fight for a world where the people—not corporations, not the wealthy—determine our future. This is not just about fairness. It’s about survival.
Our Symbol: The Fire Ant
The fire ant teaches us how to fight and how to win:
• Fire: We carry the heat of revolution. The flame of action burns within us, ready to ignite wherever injustice thrives.
• Swarm: Alone, a fire ant is small. Together, we overwhelm our enemies. We rise as a collective force, unshakable and relentless.
• Resilience: Fire ants survive even the harshest floods by linking together, forming unsinkable rafts. Like them, we rise above the chaos to carry one another to safety.
We are the spark, the swarm, and the flame. We are the fire that will cleanse this system of greed and injustice.
Join The Fire Ants
We are building a movement, a swarm ready to ignite change. You don’t have to be a politician, a leader, or an expert. You just have to be ready to fight.
• Organize with us. Whether you’re an activist, a worker, or someone who’s had enough, there is a place for you in our swarm.
• Spread the fire. Share our message, inspire others, and help grow the movement.
• Take action. Join us in protests, strikes, and occupations. Be ready to disrupt and dismantle the systems of greed.
This is a revolution of the people, for the people. And we need every spark to grow the blaze.
A Warning to the Oppressors
To the corporations, the politicians, and the profiteers: your time is running out. You’ve grown fat on our suffering, but we are no longer afraid.
• We are the fire that will burn away your power.
• We are the swarm that will overwhelm your greed.
• We are the movement that will outlast your reign.
The Fire Ants are rising. The fire is spreading. You will not stop us.
This is Your Moment
The Fire Ants are not just a movement. We are a force of nature. A spark becomes a flame. A flame becomes a blaze. And together, we will burn down the systems of exploitation and greed.
Will you join the swarm? Will you be the fire that changes the world?
Rise with us. Fight with us. Burn with us. The revolution is here, and The Fire Ants are leading the charge.

Imagine if someone commented "I pray may all people return home safe each day." whenever they saw this.
Police supporters would be outraged. They'd consider it an enormous act of disrespect.
In other words, they know exactly what's wrong with responding to "black lives matter" with "all lives matter". They know that they're not actually being "egalitarian".

Sorry by filling my followers with Venezuela stuff,, but IT'S IMPORTANT, and if we don't share and help now, it'll be too late, and Venezuela it will turn into something WORSE.
Stop pretending Venezuela "is not so bad", I know IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE to what Palestine suffers right now... but that doesn't change the facts. Don't minimize each other's pain, stop.
I feel bad about what's happening around the world, I've been crying for contries like Palestine and their suffering... but stop minimizing situations like this, really.
VENEZUELA NEEDS HELP, please.
