Sinopsis

Tras los años de excedencia regentando un apacible hotel rural, Laura se incorpora a la comisaría de nuevo.

El misterio se sitúa en un edificio de vecinos situado en el centro de Madrid. La casa es muy característica: a pesar de tener muchos años, está reformada. La escalera y el portal siguen conservando el encanto de lo antiguo. Y los vecinos se conocen desde siempre... Durante las obras de pocería de un inmueble en el centro de Madrid, se encuentra el esqueleto de una mujer que llevaba mucho tiempo sepultada en las galerías subterráneas del edificio. Lo más sorprendente es que lleva puesto un vestido de novia. Cuando una de las vecinas de la casa dice que cree saber quién es el cadáver y por qué murió, es asesinada. Laura tendrá que intervenir para averiguar quién, de entre todos los vecinos del edificio, es el asesino. Y sin saberlo, se encontrará con el criminal más insospechado de toda su carrera. Laura jamás hubiera imaginado que, en su primer caso al incorporarse de nuevo a la policía, iba a tener que detener al asesino que nunca hubiera querido descubrir, el criminal más imprevisible y asombroso de su carrera.

🕵‍♀️Bueno, pues ayer ví el nuevo episodio de Laura, y bueno no quiero hacer muchos spoilers por si acaso alguien aún no lo ha visto, pero en general, me ha parecido bueno. El caso ha estado interesante*, y quedan pendientes algunas cosas que supongo continuarán** en el siguiente episodio o en la cuarta temporada , así que tendremos que esperar al miércoles 20 a que se estrene "Laura y el misterio del paciente suspicaz". ¿ Qué os ha parecido el episodio?

*Sobre todo el giro de Beltrán siendo el asesino, cuando el estuvo ayudando a Laura en la investigación, aunque bueno, en principio eso funcionó para desviar la investigación a sospechosos más probables.

Este capítulo como se indica la sinopsis, tiene el factor de tener un asesino bastante imprevisible, al principio lo lógico es pensar que alguno de los inquilinos adultos es el culpable, pero por descarte y algunas pistas que se van revelando, resulta ser Beltrán, un adolescente de apenas 14 años, algo más joven que los gemelos, que sin querer mató a su amigo Oliver y al que sigue viendo como "fantasma" (bueno, más bien es producto de su mente, pero le digo fantasma para simplificarlo), y es a raíz de esa muerte y el trauma de Beltrán se desencadenan las otras muertes.

**Como lo del cáncer de Cuevas o la especie de triángulo amoroso que parece que quieren montar entre Laura, Martín y la mujer de Martín (no me acuerdo de su nombre ahora), después de que Laura se haya dado cuenta que Martín era el DW de la tercera temporada, aunque lo más seguro que lo de Laura y Martín se quede como algo platónico y ya está.

Israel Mendoza Pérez | @imendozape En la Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos, se blindaron las irregularidades señaladas contra el secretario Ejecutivo, Francisco Estrada Correa, hasta 2027. Y es que, los diputados morenistas respondieron en sintonía política y exhibieron la impúdica relación del partido en el poder con la presidencia de la CNDH, encabezada por Rosario Piedra Ibarra. La autonomía de la comisión fue pisoteada desde la Cámara de Diputados. La relación se distorsionó y se permitió que se mantenga la operación con criterios afines a la cuatroté y no técnicos. En este entramado, los diputados retorcieron a la CNDH, al designar a la titular del Órgano Interno de Control, Olivia Rojo Martínez, del 1 de mayo de 2023 al 30 de abril de 2027, con ello dieron la pauta para que se mantenga un estado de control desde la secretaría Ejecutiva, sobre diversas áreas incluido el Órgano Interno de Control. Es decir, no hay un contrapeso a las decisiones tomadas desde la llegada de Estrada Correa y la creación de un grupo de incondicionales llamado el “círculo machuchón”. Y es que, el proceso de designación de contralor fue la simulación total. A pesar de que se tenía en la lista a nueve aspirantes, entre ellos: Alejandra Espino Alpízar, Alejandro González Roldán, Sandra Elizabeth Gutiérrez Zepeda, Raúl Rigoberto Medina Rodríguez, Sinthia Yazmín Moreno Ángeles, José Antonio Moreno Peña, Norma Lidia Moreno Peña, Olivia Rojo Martínez y José Alberto Sánchez Ozuna, todo recayó en Olivia Rojo, quien ya estaba en el cargo y sus observaciones suelen ser livianas y sin densidad. El trabajo político de Francisco Estrada Correa a favor de Morena y el PT, le ayudaron para que los legisladores de Ignacio Mier respondieran en línea vertical y convirtieran a la CNDH en un apéndice de Morena. De acuerdo con cercanos al proceso de designación, desde la secretaría Ejecutiva se intensificó —desde los primeros días de abril— un cabildeo con diversos diputados de Morena, del PT, Verde, PAN, MC y del PRD en el restaurante la Mallorquina San Ángel, para asegurar el voto a favor de Olivia Rojo, mantenerla en el cargo más tiempo y así evitar que el poder de Estrada Correa se debilite y los señalamientos en su contra se mantengan a raya. El trabajo sin rigor de Olivia Rojo es conocido al interior de la comisión porque atiende una agenda administrativa a modo y las cuestiones técnicas toman temas por la superficialidad y no van a lo profundo. De ahí que se le señala que no sabe de auditorías, responsabilidades administrativas, control interno, y eso quedó demostrado en los últimos cuatro años como encargada del despacho del órgano interno de control donde aprobó un reglamento interno votado por la única consejera consultiva, que al mes ingresó a ocupar la dirección general de CENADH, donde quedó exhibido un conflicto de interés. Otra de las acusaciones contra Olivia Rojo, al interior de la CNDH, es que archiva sin justificación las denuncias contra Francisco Estrada Correa que le llegan y su grupo cercano, pero ahora se entiende que el supuesto encubrimiento responde a un interés de grupo enfilado a mantenerse un periodo más al frente de la comisión. Trying to get a handle on The Aztec Mummy and related offerings is confusing, so here is Decades of Horror’s own version of an Aztec Mummy Primer:

The Aztec Mummy Trilogy (Be forewarned that about half of each of the 2nd and 3rd movies are composed of footage from the previous movie(s) in the trilogy. The Aztec Mummy is the only one of the three with all original footage.):

The Aztec Mummy (1957, La Momia Azteca)

The Curse of the Aztec Mummy (1957, La maldición de la momia azteca)

The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy (1958, La momia azteca contra el robot humano)

The Wrestling Women vs. the Aztec Mummy (1964, Las luchadoras contra la momia), is not connected in any way to the original trilogy except by using a creature known as “the aztec mummy.” However, it is included in a VCI Entertainment Blu-ray box set titled The Aztec Mummy Collection along, with #2 and #3 of the trilogy, but excluding The Aztec Mummy, the first movie in the trilogy.

Attack of the Mayan Mummy (1964) is a very strange conglomeration of The Aztec Mummy and extra footage shot with English-speaking actors. It comes from Jerry Warren et al and completely changes the original story.

There you have it. Clear as mud? The Classic Era Grue-Crew could not find a good version of The Aztec Mummy with English subtitles or dubbing. The other four films listed above are all available with English dubbing.

Whitney chose The Aztec Mummy because she thought it would be cool to see something with history and a cultural connection along with the horror, and she really likes the idea of characters with a past life. The culture and history along with a mummy tale are also a big attraction for Daphne. The PLEX streaming app lists The Aztec Mummy as content but lurking beyond that title is actually The Curse of the Aztec Mummy. Thus, Chad was duped into watching the 2nd film of the trilogy instead of the first. The crew put PLEX’s subterfuge to good use as Chad provides insights and details that connect the first and second movies and show the direction the story takes at the conclusion of the first film. Jeff likes the story, a tale of hypnotic regression through past lives, Aztec lore, a mummy, and an evil scientist thrown in for good measure.

Your Classic Era Grue-Crew mourns the lack of a high-resolution version with English subtitles, at least, that they could find, but are all glad they took the journey.

June 18, 2021: King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia attended an event of delivery of the Order of Civil Merit Condecorations to mark the 7th anniversary of King Felipe’s proclamation.

On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the Proclamation of His Majesty the King, as on previous occasions -2015 and 2019- it is a matter of expressing the recognition of the Crown to those who carry out their life and ordinary professional work in an exemplary way, at the service of society.

On this occasion, in a very special way, for their contribution during the challenge of Covid-19, we recognize citizens for their example of personal commitment and social contribution.

The selection, with criteria of representation and territorial and sectoral balance, is the result of the Crown’s contact with society and has been carried out with the institutional contribution of all the administrations and also of many other entities, organizations, associations and representative groups in different fields, labor, economic, social, educational and cultural. Those who have been recognized with the Medal of the Order of Civil Merit are a reflection of the situation experienced by millions of people in the time marked by the pandemic and its consequences.

The 17 Autonomous Communities and the two Autonomous Cities are represented, with twice the representation, the Communities with a population of more than 5 million (Andalusia, Catalonia, Valencian Community and Madrid). There are 16 women and 8 men aged between 30 and 74 years old.

The professions represented have to do with different sectors: Health, Research, Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing, Hospitality, Commerce, Transport, Logistics, Services, Volunteering, Education and Culture. During the most acute phase of the pandemic and confinement, all these sectors showed the fundamental role they play every day in the lives of citizens. There are five fundamental groups of awarded: those linked to the rural world and the primary sector, those related to knowledge management (education, culture and science), those linked to volunteering and the third sector, health workers and, finally, some of the professions that were shown, in addition to health workers, as essential during the confinement of the pandemic.

During the event, Their Majesties the King and Queen, HRH the Princess of Asturias and HRH the Infanta Doña Sofía were accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and Grand Chancellor of the Order of Civil Merit, Arancha González Spade; the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and Chancellor of the Order of Civil Merit, María Celsa Nuño; and by the general director of Protocol, Chancellery and Orders and secretary of the Order of Civil Merit, Caridad Batalla.

Elena Ochoa, who acted as master of ceremony, read the biographies of the citizens who received the decorations of the Order of Civil Merit, which were:

This decoration may also be awarded to persons of foreign nationality, provided they have rendered distinguished services to Spain or a notable collaboration in all matters that benefit the Nation. His Majesty the King is the Grand Master of the Order of Civil Merit. All the decorations of this order will be conferred in his name and the corresponding titles will be authorized with the stamp of his signature.

Gracias a la bondad de ciertos extraños, puedo ofrecerles hoy el estreno (o reestreno) mundial de El parque (1963), de Fernando Villaverde, una pieza clave del documentalismo cubano producido por el ICAIC en los primeros 60.

Docentes del ITD reciben distinciones del SNI y SEI

Encabezando la ceremonia del Premio Estatal de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación,  el gobernador del Estado José Rosas Aispuro Torres a través del Consejo de Ciencia y Tecnología del Estado de Durango, hizo un reconocimiento a la investigación en diferentes áreas del conocimiento, premiando el desarrollo de los profesionales que con gran calidad impulsan la educación y el desarrollo científico.

  En esta ceremonia se homenajeo a los investigadores que obtuvieron distinción del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, destacando a los miembros de la comunidad técnica: Rubén Francisco González Laredo como Investigador Nivel III, Alfredo de Jesús Martínez Roldán como Investigador de Nivel I y Verónica Cervantes Cardoza  como Investigadora Nivel Candidata. June 18, 2021: King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia attended an event of delivery of the Order of Civil Merit Condecorations to mark the 7th anniversary of King Felipe’s proclamation.

On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the Proclamation of His Majesty the King, as on previous occasions -2015 and 2019- it is a matter of expressing the recognition of the Crown to those who carry out their life and ordinary professional work in an exemplary way, at the service of society.

On this occasion, in a very special way, for their contribution during the challenge of Covid-19, we recognize citizens for their example of personal commitment and social contribution.

The selection, with criteria of representation and territorial and sectoral balance, is the result of the Crown’s contact with society and has been carried out with the institutional contribution of all the administrations and also of many other entities, organizations, associations and representative groups in different fields, labor, economic, social, educational and cultural. Those who have been recognized with the Medal of the Order of Civil Merit are a reflection of the situation experienced by millions of people in the time marked by the pandemic and its consequences.

The 17 Autonomous Communities and the two Autonomous Cities are represented, with twice the representation, the Communities with a population of more than 5 million (Andalusia, Catalonia, Valencian Community and Madrid). There are 16 women and 8 men aged between 30 and 74 years old.

The professions represented have to do with different sectors: Health, Research, Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing, Hospitality, Commerce, Transport, Logistics, Services, Volunteering, Education and Culture. During the most acute phase of the pandemic and confinement, all these sectors showed the fundamental role they play every day in the lives of citizens. There are five fundamental groups of awarded: those linked to the rural world and the primary sector, those related to knowledge management (education, culture and science), those linked to volunteering and the third sector, health workers and, finally, some of the professions that were shown, in addition to health workers, as essential during the confinement of the pandemic.

During the event, Their Majesties the King and Queen, HRH the Princess of Asturias and HRH the Infanta Doña Sofía were accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and Grand Chancellor of the Order of Civil Merit, Arancha González Spade; the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and Chancellor of the Order of Civil Merit, María Celsa Nuño; and by the general director of Protocol, Chancellery and Orders and secretary of the Order of Civil Merit, Caridad Batalla.

The preamble to the order states that “its purpose is to reward merits of a civil nature, acquired by personnel dependent on any of the public Administrations” or “by persons outside the Administration, who render or have rendered relevant services to the State. , with extraordinary work, profitable initiatives, or with exemplary constancy in the fulfillment of their duties. This decoration may also be awarded to persons of foreign nationality, provided they have rendered distinguished services to Spain or a notable collaboration in all matters that benefit the Nation. His Majesty the King is the Grand Master of the Order of Civil Merit. All the decorations of this order will be conferred in his name and the corresponding titles will be authorized with the stamp of his signature.
