Hi! I was wondering if there is a set date for the pre-0rder period on the Magolor shaker charms?
I plan on ordering the charms from my manufacturer around early May, but the pre-order price will be set until I have them in stock in June! I can't say for sure the exact date in June but it will be somewhere between the 5th and 16th depending on how long manufacturing and shipping takes.
Once I ship out the first batch they will no longer be discounted. This will be a regularly stocked item in my shop though and I plan on ordering more than just who pre-ordered them. So, if you're interested but don't have an opportunity to get one now, there will be many more opportunities later.
I hope this answers your question, feel free to ask me for any other details!
#Tuuw talks#I'll add this info to the charm post too when I go to reblog it today#I mainly did pre-orders to get an interest check in how many to buy and then I plan on buying at least double the amount pre-ordered#After pre-orders the price goes up $2 so hopefully that's not too much I just wanted an incentive to order early since it's easier for me#Tuuw shop

“The Rise of Kylo Ren” + TROS theory (with TROKR pics)
I’ll probably look like a clown in 16-17 days when “The Rise of Kylo Ren” #2 releases but whatever lol—after TROS I believe even more that the former leader of the Knights of Ren (Ren) is Ben from another timeline or a future gone (more) wrong
Anyways, my thoughts on this:
1) remember the outrageous “Ben sets the temple ablaze and runs away” from the Visual Guide? I’m sure it’s probably just even more retconning (like a ton of stuff from the VD), but what if it’s literal—except it’s just that the Ben who does it isn’t the Ben we know, therefore making it true while retaining “our” Ben’s innocence. Another option (painful but, I think, absolutely plausible) is that Ben himself accidentally set on fire the temple with his rage and sorrow unleashing a Force storm. However, the way the “prologue” of TROKR #1 ends (I’ll talk about later on in this post) seems kind of like a foreshadowing that Ben (well, “our” Ben) didn’t do it...? Kind of interesting, and hopefully we won’t have to wait until issues #3 and #4 (february and march) to know about that important detail
2) this interview with Charles Soule (the writer) and Will Sliney (the artist) dedicates, curiously, the first 3-4 paragraphs solely to talking about Ren—and the article, which is from the official SW webpage (an article called “Introducing ‘Ren’ in Marvel’s The Rise of Kylo Ren”), starts like this: “they call him Ren, but that wasn’t always his name”. Which is also how the comic starts:
... Tell me this doesn’t sound suspicious as kriff and like foreshadowing
And the interview keeps going like this: “Born out of the flames,” as artist Will Sliney puts it, the leader of the Knights of Ren in the opening pages of the new comic Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #1, arrives battle-scarred and wearing a fearsome, featureless mask — a blank expression save for a smattering of claw-like gouges. Concealed within is a charismatic leader, the exact type of person who would be able to seduce young Ben Solo away from the path of the Jedi.” Then they basically proceed to spend the first 4 paragraphs talking a lot about Ren besides talking about Ben (and then, lastly, about Snoke—and, fun fact: they knew about the Snoke twist of TROS beforehand), although I think they talk less about Ben even
3) Ben being compared to Anakin while Ren is compared to Darth Vader, except Charles Soule wanted Ren to read “like a more charming Darth Vader. “A Vader who is charismatic and who is appealing. That’s why [Ren’s] skin is burned and he sort of looks the way that he does. He’s embracing the seductiveness and the damage that the dark side does. Darth Vader, as impressive and imposing and terrifying as he is, is remote and cold and distant because he has the suit surrounding him. Whereas Ren isn’t hiding behind it. He’s someone you could have a beer with, in theory.”
4) more interesting interview stuff. “Designed purposefully for the new comic series, with issue #1 out now, Ren feeds the evolution of Kylo Ren. “The entire seductiveness of the dark side poured into one character engineered for Ben Solo is Ren,” Soule says. “He’s sort of a charming evil rascal that can be really fun to write and I really like where he goes in the series. But if Kylo Ren is going to take over the Knights of Ren, which we know that’s what happens, there should be some transition.”
Also: “I think the key to writing Ben Solo is to write him as a lost teenager who is deeply in touch with emotions that teenagers often feel,” Soule says. “He feels like no one understands him, no one sees him the way he actually is, he’s utterly alone and there’s no one else out there in the universe. So when he sees Ren, he’s like, ‘Wait a minute — maybe there is somebody like me in the universe. Maybe there is a path for a guy like me. Look at the choices he’s made. I could make those choices, too, and I could be cool.’”
So... This is interesting. We have Snoke manipulating Ben to go to him, at first making himself appear friendly, while on some measure Palpatine’s pulling the strings from Snoke (I don’t think he would be like a puppet with Palps’ voice, though, given that chapter of the TLJ non-junior novelization that has a lot of stuff from Snoke’s perspective, but who knows). But then, Ben Solo’s basically obsessed with Vader... and, apparently, this Ren’s a walking dark side temptation for Ben. Well... We’ll see what happens, I guess
Also, crying inside at reading that “wait a minute—maybe there is somebody like me in the universe. Maybe there is a path for a guy like me. Look at the choices he’s made. I could make those choices, too, and I could be cool”. If Ren really was Ben from another time seeking to change things (probably something related to Rey): the implications that this has, the emotions that this has, the power that this has
Interesting, too, that it hasn’t been said if it’s Snoke who’s “the master” of the KoR (yes, they do have a master on top of their own leader), but that only gets weirder because the KoR were revealed time ago to be only loyal to their leader and to the “Ren philosophy” (which also makes possible ties with Snoke alone impossible)—so, if Snoke and the First Order aren’t, then who is it? Palpatine? Still, again, there’s the philosophy thing of following only their group leader...
Oh and: the Ren philosophy sounds very intriguing and I’m liking it a lot
(For context of the next pics: there are two brothers, being one of them Force-sensitive, and both the KoR and someone called SecSec are trying to recruit them—but the non-Force-sensitive one kills the other, which means the KoR doesn’t accept him, and Ren kills him)
5) just after that panel, in this pic below they talk a bit about “the master” here, being Ren who says it. Also it’s interesting that, after that happens, the KoR part ends with Ren saying "let’s go find something to burn”:
After that there’s a page as if this kind of prologue has finished, showing a page with the logo of the comic and all that... and then, next page it’s Ben standing in front of the fire and ruins of the temple all shocked (a note here: on that page it reads “now” and the name of the location, and the “prologue” happened “long ago”). I’d say that really looks like foreshadowing...
Now the thing is... If the KoR are not affiliated in any way with the First Order nor Snoke, and the KoR is only interested in recruiting Force-sensitives for their ranks, then how come they could’ve arrived in Luke’s Jedi temple... just at that right time to burn it down? I mean, right, there can be coincidences, but— uh, that might be a bit too much of a coincidence, perhaps? Who knows...
6) interview intensifies. “Born out of the flames”, is how Sliney describes Ren—well, thought it was worth mentioning this because guess what mythological being is born out of the flames too. Also, funny the parallel between that and the publisher’s summary of “The Rise of Kylo Ren” #3 (scheduled for February 12th): “Soon, BEN SOLO'S path will end in a place of fire and blood, and a shadow will rise to take his place. He is with the KNIGHTS OF REN now, and they will welcome him, if he can pay their price.” Well, given that “our” Ben starts becoming Kylo Ren after what happens at the temple, and that they describe Ren (referring to the former leader of the KoR) like being “born out of the flames”... this does nothing to deterr me from believing this theory, to be honest
7) more from the interview. “ The creative team engineered some surprises for this charming dark sider, a foil in many ways to Darth Vader hiding beneath his protective covering. “You expect the dude hiding his face under a mask like that to be all messed up, particularly with his body looking the way it does,” Soule says. But in issue #2 we’ll see what he’s truly concealing, a reveal that speaks to Ben on a whole other level” … This whole paragraph, I swear. Sounds like when they talked in the times between TFA and TLJ about Ben’s face behind his mask, and about his unmasking. Also, the talk about the face reveal…
What kind of “reveal that speaks to Ben on a whole other level” could it be? I don’t think they’d be referring to that with something more going on in his face, as in, scars or charred skin. In fact, it wouldn’t make sense for Ren to cover that up given that he shows with pride his scarred body
And faces of men he might know? The probabilities just lower and narrow soooo much here. We have yet to see, however, if Ben gets the reveal as a kid or an adult, which could make a difference. Still, back to “what man could this guy be”, I just can’t think of someone that he’d recognize and have this impact on him... ... And now it’s when it’s a Ben clone from another timeline, lol
8) that big panel on “The Rise of Kylo Ren” #2 where the KoR and Ren are facing Luke, Ben and Lor San Tekka, and Ben and Ren seem to mirror poses:
9) this is jut something that came to my mind, but… It still bugs me to this day the phrase “it is you” that Ben says regarding Rey on the TFA novelization (when she calls forth the Legacy lightsaber), because Ben didn’t know back then about them being a dyad, nor have we seen any mentions to him having dreamt of Rey before or anything—so maybe Ben’s encounter (encounters? Still not sure about it) with Ren involved Ren telling him something that will happen in the future? Something which could also tackle that random “which girl?”
The sad thing, if Ren was really Ben from the future? Like I said in my previous post about this teory (pre-TROS): ... that Ben would’ve literally killed himself, and therefore made true what he told Han that his son is dead and that he’d killed him (which then is reversed in TROS with that “Kylo Ren is dead, my son is alive”). That would be such a kriffing trauma for Ben that I don’t know if I could stomach it, after seeing Ben’s death in TROS... I mean, we would literally be seeing another Ben die... even if somehow his actions meant a worse future would have been avoided
Anyways my brain seems to find fuel in angst (why), because now reading “Ren” only makes me think of Ben’s name but taking on the “R” from Rey if in that future something happened to her... (Or that the Knights would be called “of Ren” in reference to Ben and Rey)
... And now it’s when we’ve been played like a fiddle all along and the novels, with their differences/expanded material as hints (like the “it is you” in the TFA novelizations), are but one of the timelines. Can you imagine? To cite the TLJ non-junior novelization: “time is a circle. The end is the beginning”. At this point I believe anything could happen, specially after seeing TROS and how wtf it’s all that surrounds it...
10) to finish the post, the thing that made me start thinking Ren could be Ben: the hair that peeks from below the helmet looks apparently like Ben’s both in shape and color (an interesting detail is how the color of their hair seems to match in tone: in issue #1 it’s brownish for the both of them even though one’s surrounded by fire and the other by ice, and on the preview pages of issue #2 their hair is shown black). And in a universe so diverse as SW, and given that Ren and Ben are characters so connected, that’s a pretty... interesting choice. Here are some more images for comparison between Ben and Ren:

Sweet Ohuhu Snail
This artwork is now available as a free Coloring Page!
____
Finally, some hints of new supplies I was mentioning a while ago have manifested into a piece of art. :D
This is sort of a follow-up to my Ohuhu Brush Marker Review, as back in October, Ohuhu released a 72 set of the brush markers, and naturally, I was very curious to see the 24 new colors for myself. (And I have a bit of a story about how this set arrived to me that I'll get into momentarily.)
Spoiler alert that my thoughts on the markers themselves as a product haven't changed; they're still really nice alcohol markers for the roughly $1 per marker price tag. I'd still love to see yet more colors and additional consumer features like open-stock markers, refills, replacement nibs, etc. But overall, as I said last time and I will continue to say, I really wish these had been around a few years ago when I was first getting into alcohol markers, despite the few shortcomings they have. Aside from color selection (which I'll address further later), they're an excellent beginner alcohol marker set if you want brush tips.
But before I get into the specifics of this set and the foreseeable future (as Ohuhu just recently announced another brush tip set on the horizon), I shall tell you the (long-ish) story of how I ended up with the 72 set in the first place:
Back in November, Ohuhu put a post up in their "Top Fan Group" on Facebook, which I joined on a whim after being recognized as a Top Fan a few times by that point. This post said the following:
Hi Ohuhu Friends, Ohuhu.com is going to open the SHOP function to several products soon, so you can buy the products directly on www.ohuhu.com then. Before the shopping cart is officially public to the customers, we need 3-5 volunteers to help us test this SHOP function. 🗒️What we need are some inputs regarding How is your experience with our website, and Is the purchase process smooth? What problems have you encountered while shopping on the website etc?(We will have the conversation by DM.) 🚨The tester should be based within the continental USA. As a thank you, we will give you a free set of markers, just let us know which pack do you want via DM.📷 Thank you! Put your hands up if you would like to help us with this in the comment zone! (We will randomly choose 3-5 person within a week.)
[For context, previously you could only purchase Ohuhu's products through Amazon.com] Me, being both the frugally minded and skeptical person that I am, saw the post and immediately latched on to the "free set of markers" mentioned. (My instinct said it was probably a choice from a pre-selected list of some kind.) I was curious and figured, based on what was said, that 1. I might not even get chosen, 2. Even if I did, surely they would explain the process to me and I could then gracefully bow out if it didn't sound right to me. And so I cautiously commented as instructed. Within a few days, I was contacted by a representative and I found out through communication with them that the way this would work is that us volunteers would place orders through the website for any product, let them know of any issues or feedback we had during the process, and then once the order was placed we would provide the representative with our order number and be refunded. Likewise, if all did indeed go according to plan, this sounded like a great way to get my hands on the new 72 brush marker set, which previously I had figured I wouldn't get for a while as my 48 set has been serving me very well since August with no issues. (And it kinda didn't make sense to me to turn around and order a new set that would give me 48 duplicate colors so quickly.) I've seen a LOT of horror stories about shopping online, I watch too many "drama community" videos on Youtube that often talk about sketchy websites and scams, and so throughout this entire process I was nervous, saving "receipts" (screenshots and the like to the uninformed) where I could, and generally expecting something, anything to go horribly wrong at any second. Despite Ohuhu being a fairly reputable company at this point and having only ever heard good things about their customer service. Still, Ohuhu has made enough of a name for themselves that I hoped they'd know better than to intentionally scam their customers. If word got out to the many YouTubers covering their products, they'd have a PR nightmare on their hands. (And I also had to remind myself that the art community as a whole is not the Youtube Makeup Community; generally speaking, the art community isn't as...well, dramatic. At least not when it comes to art supply companies and scamming costumers. I'm not saying it never happens, I'm just saying I don't think it happens nearly as often as when shiz goes down in the YMC.) Naturally, this means I had some questions I wanted to be crystal clear about before making any purchases of any kind. Namely, I specifically asked to make sure I was reading correctly that once the order was placed and I gave my order number that I would be receiving a refund, and if said refund would be just for the purchase price of the product ($69.99 in this case) or if it would include the shipping cost (about $5-$6 dollars) as well. The answers to which were yes and the refund would be for the total cost including shipping. I also wanted to know approximately how long it would take for the refund to go through. The answer was within 5 days. So everything up to this point seemed to check out. I was still skeptical (this is what the internet has done to me) but I was 80% sure it would be okay, and the payment would be through PayPal, so if something went wrong I could file a claim over there and provide my evidence and hopefully at least get the money back if nothing else. I'll also note that I did notice 1-2 minor bugs on the website while in the checkout process, which I informed the representative of as I was supposed to, but I honestly wouldn't have noticed them if I hadn't been trying my best to really test the website and live up to my "job" in this situation. If I had just gone through the checkout process as I normally would have with no hesitation, I wouldn't have seen the bugs at all. I was genuinely surprised by how smooth and polished the website experience was; I was expecting much buggy/glitchier, considering that they were asking for test volunteers. And the two bugs I did notice were pretty minor things that really don't break or ruin the shopping experience. So I went through with the purchase, gave the representative my order number, and hoped for the best. I immediately received an order confirmation email that told me I'd be able to track the shipment within 1-3 business days. The order was placed late on a Thursday night, so I figured I wouldn't be hearing anything else until Monday at the very earliest. (As here in the States, Saturday and Sunday usually don't count as "business days") Much to my surprise though, that Sunday the representative I'd previously spoken with reached out to me asking if I'd been able to check out the tracking feature yet. So I explained that I'd gotten the confirmation email but no tracking email yet, and that I also didn't see a way to enter my order number on the website to track the order if I (as I had) checked out as a guest. (It did appear if I had made an account that the order number would've been saved to my account and I could've potentially tracked it that way.) But again, I hadn't expected anything until Monday, so I wasn't too concerned anyway. Sure enough, the next morning I had my tracking email and everything seemed to be in order; it even baffled me by saying the shipment was expected to arrive the very next day. I thought I was surely reading something wrong or maybe it needed a little while to re-calculate or something, but I kept an eye on and it didn't change its mind. And low and behold, it was a little later in the day, but the markers were indeed delivered that Tuesday! I eagerly got them open and gave them a good once-over just to make sure everything seemed right at first glance, as I knew to swatch them all out and get a more in-depth look was going to take at least a few hours. But I was quite relieved; we'd made it this far with no hiccups, now I just needed the refund to come through and we'd be right as rain. Miraculously, two days later the representative reached out to me yet again to tell me that the refund had been sent. And wouldn't you know it; the official PayPal email was sitting in my inbox waiting to tell me so! So in the end, things turned out pretty great. Ohuhu got their website tested, and I got my markers without a hitch. It did seem a little weird to me, the whole premise, but I assume they budgeted for this in the same way a company might do giveaways or budget for advertising, maybe even like some companies do for PR packages to influencers. And, realistically, it does kind of make sense that the best way to test your online shop (and by extension, in this case, the refund process) would be to have actual customers do it. Either way, it worked out well for me, so I can't really complain.
Once the markers arrived to me, I was very happy to see that Ohuhu is now including a colorless blender in their sets, in addition to the 48 or 72 colors. A colorless blender is one of the things that I said last time would've been nice to have (though not a necessity as you could easily go out and purchase say a Copic, Prismacolor, or another brand of Colorless Blender to compensate) and personally I love that it's 48 + the CB or 72 + CB, instead of counting the colorless blender as one of the colors you get, which is what I've most commonly seen other brands do. It's a small detail, but for some reason, I can't seem to get over it.
One of the things I was most curious about in swatching though was that, I assume as a response to me and many others that mentioned we wanted them, in the marketing for the 72 set Ohuhu seemed to really be trying to push that there were more pastel colors.
After actually having and swatching the markers for myself, I'd say about 7-8 of the colors are what I'd call true pastels. There are some beautiful new colors (R13 Clematis, in particular, might be my favorite Ohuhu color now and I LOVE the Green Grays they added) but there weren't as many pastels as I was hoping for, and personally I was hoping for some more pale pinks/peaches that would work well for lighter skin tones. Maybe some yellows since I felt we were kind of lacking those too.
And originally, I was a little...disappointed isn't totally accurate, but it's the best word I have.
However! I'm inclined to be a little more forgiving as just last week, Ohuhu announced they'd be releasing a 24-color skin tone set, which (although I'm withholding major judgment until I have the markers in-hand just like last time) is looking to hopefully be some of the pale pinks and light skin tone colors, maybe even a few yellows, that I was hoping for. We'll have to wait to see the colors in person, but using their digital swatches as a [very] rough guideline, the new colors look like they could be pretty promising.
The only thing I'm a little disappointed about at this point is that 5 of the skin tone colors will be duplicates, but at the same time, after seeing which colors are duplicates, it kind of makes sense just in case someone wants to buy the skin tones and doesn't have the 48 or 72 set, which I'm sure does happen. Just like I'm sure people buy, for example, the skin tone sets from Copic or Winsor and Newton to supplement other sets.
Still, though, this continues to support the idea to me that Ohuhu is really trying to listen to what fans of the brand are asking for; People asked for brush nibs and took a little while but we got them, we asked for pastel colors and they at least tried to address that, and now we've asked for skin tones and it looks like they're going to address that, too.
Naturally, after all of the above, I had to make some art to give the markers a go beyond swatching and to talk about all of this with you, my lovely Sparklers.
So I ended up drawing this cute little snail inspired by a picture I saw over on Pinterest.
I don't know if he thinks he's going to eat that berry or if he's just smelling it, or maybe he thinks it's just pretty (I used the aforementioned R13 in the shading for the berries), but it makes me happy to look at all the same.
Originally I had planned to try and only use the new colors to really show them off, and I did use a fair amount of them, but I felt just a little too limited so I did open up to the full 72 set. But I did use all only my new markers and not the markers from the 48 set I already had, so...
Maybe it's still fair?
I also tried some texturing on the...mushroom? branch? rock? he's sitting on, and while I don't think it looks the best close-up, from further away I think it worked out pretty well.
Similarly to the crab I drew for the 48 marker set though, I wanted a more interesting background than just plain white. After some consideration, I decided my best option would be to mix my green and yellow PanPastels. So I did.
Unfortunately, I exposed a couple of very noticeable fingerprints doing that and I ended up getting pastel dust all over the drawing so my black lines got greyed out a bit.
I fixed the fingerprints by adding some intentional ones for the sake of balance and in the name of visual texture, and I fixed the lines by going back over most of them and a little post-editing after I scanned the drawing in.
Other than that, my observations about the Ohuhu markers remain the same as last time. They blend and layer really nicely (especially, as I've observed recently is the case with most alcohol markers, with thicker paper) and the colors they do provide are really vibrant and fun.
I do still hope the new skin tone colors live up, that yet even more colors are coming, and I'll repeat that I'd still love to seem them add consumer comforts of being able to buy individual markers, refill inks, and replacement nibs. But all of that may come in time, and even so, I think they're very recommendable for alcohol markers.
I'm also really happy with how my little snail turned out just as an art piece; this whole thing is just really really cute to me.
Now I just have to wait with bated breath for the USA launch (they've already launched in Canada) of those skin tone markers and hope they're not too expensive so I can get them right away :P

Okay many people have not read Toby’s Long Tweet about Delta Rune
http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sqn3p9 See that URL? It’s the official link. Here is the full transcript copy pasted from the Tweet. I won’t put it under readmore because people tend to scroll past that. Past the break line is Toby’s own words. Deltarune is it’s own world. It’s NOT related to Undertale. This is exactly what he said in point 1 of his post. It’s also something he had worked for 7 years (earliest file was 2012). This game was more difficult to make compared to Undertale. Toby also doesn’t know when he’ll ever finish Deltatune. That’s why he released this demo to share with us. I cannot stress how important it is to be patient with the artist/author and let them do whatever they want. If Toby wants to create something new, LET HIM! Trust the Dog that he’ll make something interesting! Repeat TLDR: Deltarune is NOT Undertale!!! No matter how many similarities they have, they are NOT the same. Insisting that it’s the same will just rob you of enjoyment. It’s all in the first question. Scroll down for the rest of the transcript.
Here are my thoughts on Ch 1 of Deltarune. This should answer some questions.
It's October 4th. The DEMO (first chapter) of my game is supposed to come out on Halloween. Actually it was done a little while ago but I'm waiting for the translation to be finished. I feel like I should address what I think people will think before the game comes out. Of course, if I'm all wrong about this, then I just wasted my time, but... QUESTIONS I PREDICT PEOPLE HAVE 1. "Is this a sequel? What's going on?? I'm scared..." Please don't worry too much about that. Actually, I'm worried if people worry too much about "what it is," they might not be able to properly enjoy it... (laugh) I will say that basically, what you're seeing here is not the world of UNDERTALE. UNDERTALE's world and ending are the same as however you left them. If everyone was happy in your ending, the people in the UNDERTALE world will still be happy. So, please don't worry about those characters, and that world. It will remain untouched. To rephrase that, DELTARUNE's world is a different one. With different characters, that have lived different lives. A whole new story will happen... I don't know what you call this kind of game. It's just a game you can play after you complete UNDERTALE, if you want to. That's all. 2. "I have questions I want to ask about the story..." There's a lot of questions I'd like to answer, too. That's why I have to make the game. Please wait until then. 3. "When will the next chapter come out?" This is a difficult question. When I made the demo of UNDERTALE, I made it to prove to myself that it was possible to make a whole game alone (with some help with the art). Because I was able to make it in a few months, I felt that I had proved that it was possible. However, making the demo of DELTARUNE... took a few years. So, given the length of the rest of the game, and how long I'd be willing to spend on a project (7 years maximum) I think the answer is that it's actually impossible to make this game. Lots of things make this game harder to make than the last time. - The graphics are much more complicated and don't play to my strengths (black and white battle graphics were easy...) - The battle system is much more complicated due to multiple characters (I'll write about this later) - The overworld and other sections are more complicated due to multiple characters - Having multiple main characters is much harder to write especially introducing everyone properly in chapter 1 - The entire town had to be created correctly on the first try to set up properly for the rest of the game And further things outside of those: - Trouble starting tasks/concentrating and general difficulty paying attention - Travelling / other responsibilities like translation/ports - Self-doubt / burnout regarding the creation of the game Essentially it's not possible to make this game as one person (and Temmie). However, it MIGHT be possible to create the game if I'm able to make a team. So I'm going to try making a team. Because I really want to make this. But I may not be able to succeed because I have no experience successfully directing a team and I have no idea who I'm going to work with. Since I haven't started assembling the team yet I have absolutely no estimation of its completion. It could take up to 999 years depending on the efficiency level. By the way, I currently plan to release all of the chapters at once after we complete them. I'm not sure how long that will take. You'll buy all of the chapters at once as one purchase. That'll be the only option. I'm not doing pre-orders because I don't like those. It just seems like the best way not to burn anybody. Price is unknown. It depends on how long the game is, and how much it costs to make... I don't know anything about what consoles, etc. it'll come out for because by the time it comes out we might be on Playstation 14 or something. So... in short, I have no idea. 4. "Is this the game's final design? Will you change anything?" It's possible I could change things. This is basically a demo. I might even change this first chapter before release depending on how development goes. This is really an excuse to talk about the parts I think had issues. THE BATTLE SYSTEM: I think the battle system could be explained better. I had a super duper long explanation of things here but really it boils down to: 1. UT's system is incompatible with multiple party members but I wanted to do it anyway because it's cool 2. I'd like to make it so for pacifist players, characters won't have to "defend" so much Oh. The people who tested the game thought that the TP system and animations were cool so it's not all bad. By the way, did you notice that getting close to bullets makes enemy attacks end faster? It doesn't work for every attack, but... EVERYTHING ELSE: I thought everything else was OK. Actually some parts were kind of lazy, like finding the key pieces, but oh well. The UI had some things that could be changed too. When making a game, there's so much to do you have to draw the line somewhere. That's why I need other people to help me (laugh) Oh, and I have no plans to add more content to the first chapter. 5. "Will there be multiple endings?" No. No matter what you do the ending will be the same. (Honestly most games are like that, but for some reason it feels really oppressive to say here...) I think that's part of the reason why the ACT / FIGHT system feels so vestigial in this one. Oh... I'm just talking about the battle system again... 6. "I found some kind of bug, will you fix it?" Hopefully an e-mail for that exists on the website by now. Or, it would be better if you could tweet it with #deltarunebug . That would really help us and make our lives easier because tweets are easier to ignore than e-mails 7. "Can I be on the team?" I'll ask you first!!! (Total silence) 8. "What's the progress on the rest of the game so far?" 0%!!! Nothing!!! I've done nothing!!! I mean, I've done some songs and written the whole story, but... Since no programming or final art has been done, it's best to just think of it at 0%. 9. "Will you do a Kickstarter?" I still haven't finished that damn Alarm Clock, are you kidding me? There's no way I'm doing a Kickstarter this time. 10. "The game doesn't work" / "I don't like the game" / "Will there be a version for (platform)?" Because it's a free download I'm surrounded by a forcefield that destroys all complaints and platform requests. There might be more platforms for the DEMO but I don't want to make any promises. (At the very least it'd be nice to do something for the people who bought the game on console.) By the way at the time of writing I haven't even rendered a Mac version whatsoever at all. I hope I can release it... (laugh) 11. "Can I buy the soundtrack for Chapter 1?" Yes! You can buy it at [ http://tobyfox.bandcamp.com ] And other forms of distribution will be in the works too. I'm writing this in the past so I don't know what I just said. 12. "Any closing remarks?" (No one asks this, but...) Thanks for playing my game. I hope you liked it. For the past 3 years I've been waking up in the middle of the night unable to go back to sleep because I've been thinking about the scenes that happen in the game. Even though so many details are still hazy, I really want to show you the things I've been thinking about. That's really my only reason for making this game. If I don't show you what I'm thinking, I'll lose my mind. (It was actually a totally selfish motivation...) By the way, I was really worried at first about making this. The expectations for my next work would be really high, so high that I knew that no matter what I did, I felt like people would be underwhelmed. If you played "UNDERTALE," I don't think I can make anything that makes you feel "that way" again. However, it's possible I can make something else. It's just something simple but maybe you'll like it. See you in ?? years... OK? Don't forget.

Deltarune asks
Did you ever end up going back to do the card suite puzzle in Deltarune? Just so you know, if you didn’t you can still go back to do that since the last save in the game is before you fight King. I’d recommend checking the prison elevator again before doing that though.
I haven’t gotten around to it yet, or replaying the game in general. That’s a good point about the save, thank you!
As for the prison elevator: Since finishing the game, I’ve been hanging out in the Deltarune channel on Lore’s Discord server, where I found out about Jevil. I’ve heard he claims he “can do anything”, is based on some clown stickers, and I found out yesterday how you find him. Apparently his fight is supposed to be pretty good, making up for some of the flaws in the King fight? That’s definitely another thing I want to check out, yeah.
After reading your Deltarune post, I'm so upset that you didn't mention Kris's soul getting sent to the Birdcage at the end.
Pfft! I certainly missed an opportunity there, yeah. :p
Maybe I would’ve made that joke if I had been in less of an “I just want to finish the game and go to bed” state of mind at that point. And in more of a Worm mindset.
"Heroes of Light? I don’t know, I don’t think I’d peg either of them as having that aspect." Foreshadowing the tweest ending much? Heroes of Light have a certain, ha, 'passion' for not losing.
Hehe.
Y’know, if the theory I’ve seen going around about Kris ripping their own soul out to stop us from stealing their agency and their story is right, I could actually see that as having to do with the Light aspect. I’m not sure what class it’d be, though. Maybe that reflects more on the player than on Kris, making us Vriskas Thieves of Light.
You know what did foreshadow the ending, though, that I totally called? The character overview specifying that Kris’s body contained a human soul.
Toby Fox had some things to say about Deltarune you may or may not want to read: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sqn3p9
Alright, let’s see what the Fox has to say:
1. That's all.
...alright, fair enough. I don’t trust that it’s not connected, especially through Sans (metanarrative timeline agent that he is) and maybe Chara, but it does seem to be an alternate world.
2. "I have questions I want to ask about the story..." There's a lot of questions I'd like to answer, too. That's why I have to make the game. Please wait until then.
A game dev’s equivalent of Robert Jordan’s “read and find out”.
I wonder how many people he’s working with. Maybe that’s the solution to this issue, to outsource some of the work to people he trusts.
Oh jeez, it’s only him and Temmie Chang?
Also, “Trouble starting tasks/concentrating and general difficulty paying attention” sounds like ADHD to me. I can relate heavily to this point.
However, it MIGHT be possible to create the game if I'm able to make a team. So I'm going to try making a team. Because I really want to make this. But I may not be able to succeed because I have no experience successfully directing a team and I have no idea who I'm going to work with.
Yes, good. That sounds a lot healthier.
I’m sure he can do it. In a pinch, I know he knows people who can probably give him pointers on team leadership, too, over at What Pumpkin.
That’s all very fair.
I didn’t notice that detail, but I do appreciate the way it adds to TP without having to defend. But I found myself defending a lot anyway just because it was the only thing there was much point in doing with the characters in question sometimes.
I do feel like there wasn’t enough to use the TP for, but that seems like something that might change as the characters develop more skills over the course of the full game.
Toby sounds a lot like Napstablook in this thing.
A single ending, huh? Interesting, considering the contrasts between Deltarune and Undertale regarding whether your choices matter and whether fighting is sometimes necessary, and the fact that Ralsei explicitly asks you to do a pacifist run.
6. "I found some kind of bug, will you fix it?" Hopefully an e-mail for that exists on the website by now. Or, it would be better if you could tweet it with #deltarunebug . That would really help us and make our lives easier because tweets are easier to ignore than e-mails
Ahaha!
7. "Can I be on the team?" I'll ask you first!!! (Total silence)
The humor is picking up here. :p
I assume he’s referencing a pledge reward from the Kickstarter for Undertale (that was how I first found out about Undertale, actually, though I then forgot about it until it came out) that hasn’t panned out, or something like that.
(laugh)
I have a friend who was unable to play the game himself because (as far as I can recall) he’s on a Mac. But yeah, this is fair.
11. (It was actually a totally selfish motivation...)
...interesting. Looks like we’re in for a ride when the full game comes.
Not that I was really doubting that.
By the way, I was really worried at first about making this.
My audience probably won’t believe me if I say I won’t, due to my history of bad memory, but I don’t think I will.
And yeah. Especially when you’re connecting it to Undertale and its characters, people are going to compare the two. But even if Deltarune isn’t quite the same hit as Undertale was, it’ll be worth it, I’m sure.

Surviving, No, Thriving, in NSOP
Summer school’s ending this week, which means you! already! know! what’s coming up! I’m sure this is all you’ve ever thought about for the past two months at least. If you’re lucky and you got accepted ED like me, let’s increase that time to like 6 months. The first week of school is terrifying no matter the age, but for college students, the added stress of being on your own makes dealing with the bustle a bit more complicated than you’d expect. To assuage your doubts and concerns, I’m bringing you a comprehensive and general look at what the New Student Orientation Program, NSOP, will mean for you as someone trying hard to transition from pre-frosh to freshbait. The first week of school hardly even counts as real school because it’s all orientation, but tips for the journey won’t hurt. Let’s get started.
What You Should Know Before Getting Here
Of which there are a few things. If you’re at all interested in the things I’m about to mention, even just a lil bit, you should go to the events for them during NSOP. It’s easier to get your foot in the door now and then drop out if you don’t care than try to weasel your foot in a few months later. I learned this the hard way. These few things include:
pre-health (aka pre-med)
Greek life
placing higher in any track or out of certain tracks (like the language requirement)
buying a fridge, printer, microwave, or some class books
CCSC or ESC (student council aka SGA)
Actually, anything you are even slightly interested in you should attend. The information is invaluable as the year goes on, and it’s better to have it as early as possible. For pre-med and Greek life, you should go to the information sessions. For the placement tests, go to the sessions when they’re happening and try your best. For buying a fridge or the like, go to the EcoReps sale, all of them, and see what’s around. Yeah the line is long but if you really want to save money it’s worth it.
Another thing you should be thinking about before coming here is the matter of illegal identification. Yep, fakes. Fakes are crucial in New York life because all the fun happens at bars and in clubs (I might be saying this somewhat ironically). You also can’t buy alcohol here without having a fake, so your fun might be completely cancelled if you don’t have one. Of course, you could always get someone to buy you alcohol and pay them back, and you’ll be having to do that anyway while you wait for your fake to arrive. But this is something that you definitely want to be thinking about as you come here. Most people order fakes with 3-5 friends, because prices are cheapest that way. So find your people on campus, or put a post up on your Unofficial Facebook group over the summer. Fakes take about 2 months to come through.
You Made It, Baby! Now What?
Alright, so you drove up on 116th, maybe the only time during the whole school year you’re allowed to do that, and got a Blue Bin and finished moving in (mostly)! Left to your own devices, you probably have little idea what to do. So here’s what you’re gonna do.
For the most part, you’re going to know no one. Hopefully you know at least one person, and you’re going to tag along with them everywhere they go. If you don’t know literally anyone, check out my post on making friends during NSOP.
Go to all the frat parties, but definitely with friends. Especially if you’re a girl. Even at Ivies, guys have a tendency to get sleazier at night than they would in broad daylight. That being said, there’s really nothing like a frat party, so you should definitely party it up while you can, because no one goes to frat parties after freshman year.
Figure out what classes you’re taking. Sign up for the earliest possible appointment with your advisor, and talk it out. I was an undecided major when I came in, and my biggest regret was not taking chemistry because now, as a chem major, I’m doing a lot of catching up. My advisor helped me a ton in that she recommended I take calculus and a bunch of other classes that undecided majors usually end up finding beneficial for their major. You gotta sort this out as early as possible so that you know exactly what you’re looking for when registering for classes. Class registration is a fucking battlefield. Remember to use things like Vergil and CULPA to figure out your best schedule.
So many faces so few places. You’re going to meet a lot of people in a really short time period, so you need to get really comfortable with saying “oh yeah we met last night… sorry I was drunk, what’s your name again?” Don’t be afraid of using people as crutches to get to know other people, because there’s no such thing as knowing too many people.
Set a good impression with your RA. Y’all really need to be friends. Don’t drink or smoke in front of them, don’t throw outrageously loud parties the first week, don’t throw up in the bathroom bc you’re hungover but forget to lock the door (guilty). Become friends with your RA so that they feel awkward getting you in trouble and you can basically do what you want for the rest of the year.
Leave your door(s) open. The best way to meet people on your floor genuinely is to hop in their room and comment on their taste in music. So blast some Frank Ocean and rake in the friends.
Lastly...
Potholes and Rat Traps: What to Avoid
Columbia isn’t just a matter of what to do: there’s a whole lot of shit you’ve gotta watch out for, because no one tells you this right off the bat.
Don’t go to Welcome Week, whatever you hear about it. It’s really not worth commuting back, on the subway, at night, wasted, with minimal knowledge of New York at night. And the parties aren’t great anyway.
Don’t dress up for parties, regardless of whether you’re a guy or a girl. I don’t even have a rationalization for this one, Just...please. Don’t.
Don’t take notes during that first “Lit Hum class.” You know, the one in Roone Auditorium. No one read the stuff and you look like a tool.
Don’t spend all your time on campus. Be sure to go off campus with your friends, a new group each time, as much as possible, into the city, because you won’t have the time or energy to do so later.
Don’t spend all your time with friends. Find your favorite spots on campus all by yourself, so that you have a recluse whenever you need it. It’s good to get to know campus by yourself.
Do NOT go around hooking up with every cute girl you see. Or boy. Rape is a harder line to draw when it’s orientation week and everyone’s drunk and it’s easy to convince someone to do something that they would say no to in 3 weeks’ time. The rationalization for this is not dealing with the awkwardness the next day, but rather dealing with the fact that you might end up a rapist.
Don’t believe or become any of those “entrepreneurs” during NSOP, aka those kids who have a “startup” and want to advertise their thing or whatever. Believe me, they’re not going anywhere any time soon. It’s great to have ideas, and to have ambition, and to have motivation, but don’t get ahead of yourself and leave a buttload of embarrassing memories for the next few years. Save branding yourself for second semester.
Learning to pace yourself while drinking is an important step in moving from messy ‘man to sophisticated soph. Okay so I might have just made those phrases up. But for real, everyone can tell a freshman who has never drunk a lot before because they take seven shots of vodka in 10 minutes, and in another 15 they’re struggling to keep their dinner down. So yes, you will make an embarrassing alcohol mistake sometime during your freshman career. But it does not need to be that embarrassing.
More embarrassing than puking is letting your friend feel horrible the next day because you didn’t take care of them. You must call CAVA if a friend is puking, and if they black out, that’s also a sure sign. I know you’re going to freeze up when the time comes because it’s so hard to put a finger on it and say, yep, we’ve crossed the line, she doesn’t look fine, we need to call CAVA. No one wants to be the friend who called CAVA. At least not freshmen. But you have to do it. Freshmen are the most likely to get alcohol poisoning, and not calling CAVA because you “think” she’ll be alright seriously puts your friend’s health in danger.
Be careful with the jungle juice. Usually it’s fine, and at some frats like Lambda the jungle juice gets you the perfect amount of fucked up, but there are some frats that are known for putting drugs in their actual jungle juice, not just drugging individual drinks. Boys, I don’t know why you think you’re exempt because it happens to guys too. Both my friend and I got seriously messed up with jungle juice from a frat that I’m not going to name, and it’s almost as scary as I would imagine getting roofied is.
My last “don’t” is to not be so quick to make judgements about your situation. During NSOP literally every single person feels like they genuinely can’t handle it here, they won’t succeed at Columbia. I promise you that feeling goes away in the coming months. And if you don’t get it during NSOP, that feeling will come in a few months. And it’ll go away too. Don’t ever give up because you think it’s too much, because I guarantee you can handle it. NSOP just really sucks. It hurts like a bitch and you will definitely cry at least once, but you’ll settle into a routine no matter how long it takes and you will come out feeling incredible. We all do.~

March Book Haul!
I know it is a lot of books... but it was my birthday in the beginning of March so I got a lot of these as gifts, but also found a lot of the books from local charity shops so I paid between 50p and £2 for them. Bargain!
Look out for quotes and reviews from these books:
Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli - I found this for £2 in the charity shop. I bought it’s one of my favourite booktuber’s (BooksAndLala) favourite book so I had to read it. It's a coming of age story. It’s young adult before it was a genre.
Itazura Na Kiss by Kaoru Tada - I love watching Asian remakes of this manga. I’ve watched Playful Kiss, Mischievous Kiss and Miss In Kiss. I need to watch the Thai version, Kiss Me. So you can tell that I love the story, so I had to start collecting the manga. I want to get the rest of the manga series, but it can get quite expensive. It’s about a girl who likes a boy that is way out of her league intelligence, and lookwise, but he ends up liking her too. Despite him not wanting too. It’s a good story but there can been cultural clashes.
Cruel Crown by Victoria Aveyard - This is was one of the many gift I got from my boyfriend for my birthday. It wasn’t that great of a novella. Be on the lookout for the review of this book. It’ll be quite scathing. It’s a novella from the Red Queen series.
A Whole New World by Liz Braswell - Aladdin retelling. I got it in a deal, for 2 books for £7.
As Old As Time by Liz Braswell - Beauty and the Beast retelling. It came out in January before the live action remake, also got it in the 2 for £7 deal in Tescos.
The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid - I bought it because I heard a lot of people liking this book. It’s a sci-fi young adult book with a dash of romance, death and deception.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber - It was £5 on amazon and it was a hardback! I had to get it. It’s about two sisters that escape their abusive father to the Caraval. But one of the sisters go missing, and it’s the other sister’s journey to trying to find her.
The rest I haven’t read yet but obviously I am planning too:
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo - I got this for free from Waterstones with their loyalty cards. If you spend more than £10 then you get a stamp. Once you’ve got 10 stamps you get a £10 voucher. My boyfriend ended up spending like £30 on me for my birthday so he got it stamped for me, and I redeemed it! I don’t know what it is about though because I haven't read Six of Crows, but I have heard that it is really good!
Hold Back The Stars by Katie Khan - I also bought this because it was £5 and it is a hardback with a lovely cover. It’s a romance/sci-fi book when a couple is stranded in space. I know how it ends because I read the last page, but I will see if it makes me feel any emotions.
Paris For One and Another Short Stories by Jojo Moyes - This is the first short story collection that I have bought. I have heard good things about Paris For One, and I did like Me Before You, so we shall see if I do enjoy it.
The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye - I read the blurb and I had to get it. Even if I had to pay retail price... I will probably read it soon hopefully.
The Song Rising by Samantha Shannon - This is the second ever book that I pre-ordered in my life. It is the special edition, that has been signed by the author! I love the first two books of the series, so I am happy that I have gotten this book.
The One Memory Of Flora Banks by Emily Barr - This was a gift from Emily for my birthday. It is a contemporary romance book, with an unreliable narrator that does not remember things in the short term.
Wonder by R.J. Palacio - Emily’s parents bought this for me I believe, and Emily picked the book. She liked it, and that is a massive compliment. It’s a story about a boy with a facial conformity. I think it is a contemporary novel.
Shopaholic To The Rescue by Sophie Kinsella - I didn't realise that this was book 8 of a series, so I am torn between collecting the rest of the series and donating this book. Idiot Lou.
The Protector by Jodi Ellen Malpas - This was also in the £2 for £7 deal but it I bought it for the story. It’s a contemporary romance, where a bodyguard falls for the person that he is protecting.
Heartless by Marissa Meyer - Emily also got me this book. She got it from amazon for £4. I have heard it is a good book. But I want to read Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass before I read this retelling of the Queen of Hearts.
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare - This was also a part of the deal for 2 for £7. I was drawn in by the cover and the pages to be honest. I will read it eventually after I’ve re-read the mortal instruments because I DNF-ed the series on the 4th book, and read the infernal devices.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo - I bought this for about £5/£6 from amazon because I heard so many good things about this series that I had to read it. It’s a young adult fantasy book.
Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo - My boyfriend bought me the other two books in the series.
Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo
Charity Shop Part of the Haul:
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden - I am learning to speak Japanese, I am at the very basics, but I want to surround myself in Japanese culture. So I thought that this fiction book would be good. It’s set in pre-WWII and continues throughout the period in Kyoto, Japan. I also got it for £1.
Bring Up The Bodies by Hilary Mantel - I have Wolf Hall, and I enjoyed the chapter or so I read, so I thought it would be a good idea to get the sequel for £1. It’s a historical fiction novel about Thomas Cromwell’s life. He was a loyal, and royal adviser to Henry VIII.
The Cellist of Sarajevo by Steven Galloway - I study Yugoslavia in my university course, and I’ll study Serbia in my third year and I am really fascinated with Balkan stories and histories. This is a fictional novel based in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am looking forward to reading this story. I think it is a depiction of the 1990s wars. It was also £1.
Ten Out Of Ten by Meg Cabot - I have the first 8 books of the Princess Diaries, so when I saw this for £2 I jumped at it. Plus it is in the cover that I have it in. It is book 10, so I am on the lookout for book 9, but I think the charity shop I went to has it, but they just haven't stocked it yet because I have seen others in the series there.
The Shock Of The Fall by Nathan Filler - I have seen this in my recommended Amazon reads so I bought it when I saw it for £1. It seems interesting. It is a contemporary book that deals with death. I hope it doesn't make me too depressed.
Nomad by James Swallow - I’ve seen this for £3.85 and £3.99 in Tescos and Sainsburys respectively and I have been meaning to buy it. So I jumped at the chance of buying it for £1. It’s a spy novel.
Mad Girl by Bryony Gordon - This was also £1. It’s a contemporary novel about a girl with anxiety. So I am interested in it’s depiction because I do suffer from anxiety. You can get it at Tescos for £3.85 or 2 for £7.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer - I was so happy when I saw this for £1 in the charity shop. I have been meaning to buy this series because I have heard nothing but good things. It’s a sci-fi retelling of Cinderella.
The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling) - I recognised the title in the charity shop but I didn't know what it was. I didn't let it go when I found out it was a crime novel written by J.K. Rowling. It’s about a Private Detective that gets hired to investigate an apparent suicide of a famous model in London. It seems good so far because it is the book that I am currently reading. If all goes well, I may buy the rest of the series and watch the BBC drama adaption of it.
Raven’s Gate by Anthony Horowitz - I read this when I was about 12 years-old. I loved it but I had borrowed it from my school’s library so I didn't have a physical copy of my own. So when I saw that it was £1 and unread I jumped at the chance of getting it. I also saw it at another charity shop for £2, so I am glad that I didn't get it then. It also was another edition. It’s a middle grade fantasy, about these 5 gatekeepers that protect the world from evil
Nightrise by Anthony Horowitz - The day after I bought the first book, me and Emily went to a charity shop next to our uni, and it that book 3 in the series and it was only 50p and unread! So I had to buy it.
The Version of Us by Laura Barnett - This was also £1. It’s a contemporary romance I believe. I don’t know that much about it but my boyfriend think it will be a great book. He liked this blurb the best.
Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot - I love Meg Cabot, so when I saw this for £1 I was happy. This is a trilogy, so if I like this book I will definitely buy the rest of the series.
I hope you guys liked this book haul! I liked buying these books haha. Be on the lookout for more quotes and reviews!
Love Lou xx

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to Olivia from Curls Allowed for sending us this box to review.
Curls Allowed is a monthly subscription for us harder to cater for curly haired girls. They send you 4 carefully selected travel / deluxe sample sized items each month and the occasional full size as a treat.
I was so excited when this landed, if you have long thick curly hair like mine you will know how high maintenance it can be to care for, and finding the right products to aid our hairs natural beauty is a minefield. So is this box the answer to my life long quest for the perfect hair products?
It came packaged in a gold and white dotty Jiffy bag, I love it when companies care about the packaging it shows that, well they care! Opening that I found a sleek white box with a rose gold curls allowed logo on it. Unboxing I was met with a lovely hand written card detailing a bit about what the box was geared towards, and thanking us for reviewing, yet again it’s the little personal touches like this that show me a company cares!
This months box is all about the curly girl method, I am fairly new to this way of looking after my locks but I’ve heard it mentioned a lot recently and have been curious as to what it is, so I was even more excited to try it.
Hopefully in the baby pink tissue paper sealed with the Curls Allowed logo sticker are new miracle products to aid me on my quest to discovering why the curly girl method is so good!
If you missed me unboxing it live you can catch it here:
I found a lot of the things with the curly girl method like avoiding heat styling I already did naturally, but you also don’t shampoo or brush as it damages your curls. I’m not too sure how I feel about that but I’m willing to try anything at this point in my life to tame my mane.
So the product included to help me this month are:
KeraCare leave in Conditioner 60ml
I have long, long hair! And was sceptical about how long 60ml would last but surprisingly I can get at least 3 uses out of this. That gives me enough to see any benefits whilst following the CGM, and decide whether I want to repurchase the full size.
This is the first step after rinsing! The product smells really nice, and gave my hair bounce and shine. I don’t know what it is about the formula but it instantly defined my Curls when I applied it.
KaraCare Defining Custard 58ml
No I haven’t written that wrong and yep you read that right, Custard for your hair? I can honestly say I’ve never come across hair Custard, but in the pursuit for luscious locks I tried with an open mind. A little goes a long way with this product and it smells delicious. This was the second step for me and definitely helped to define my curls.
Trepadora Curl Therapy Açai Berry Fix Curl Defining Gel 100ml
I love using gel products on my hair! Ever since I was a teen it’s been my go to product as mousse on its own just doesn’t seem to hold and within 10 minutes I have frizz! But I do find a lot of gels to heavy for my long hair. I found this one very light weight but with good hold with flexibility and minimum frizz once my hair air dried.
Flora & Curl Hydrate Me Jasmine Oasis Hair Mist 50ml
Subscribers were given a choice of the flora & curl Mist or Giovanni Direct Leave-in-Conditioner this month and I’m glad I got this!
This lives up to its name and smells like a floral oasis, it’s a great way to breathe some life back and moisture into your hair throughout the day. I think it’s a good size and will last me a while! Hair needs hydration as much as the rest of our body does and this is the perfect solution to pop in my handbag and use on the go as well as being a quick fix on rushed mornings.
Trepadora Curl Therapy Leave in Curl Primer 20ml
This was an extra sample sachet included this month, I’m glad it was! This is on my must repurchase list. Another product where a little goes a long way and I felt it worked well with the gel fighting frizz and keeping definition in my hair. A hair primer is a brilliant thing I mean we prime our face to help protect our skin and give our make up the perfect base; it just makes sense to do the same for your hair.
I think Olivia has filled a huge gap in the subscription box market with Curls Allowed! The concept of being able to try new things specially developed for curly hair every month is brilliant and much needed in my opinion. Shopping for hair care is a nightmare and you can drop a pretty penny or two on products that end up in the bin because they just don’t work for you. The sizes in the box gives you enough to find out if you like a product without the huge outlay and it becoming wasted if you discover that one is not for you.
The basics like the leave in conditioner are reasonably priced if you want to purchase the full size and the exclusive discount codes on the full sized products included is a brilliant touch. I have tried the CGM and I don’t think I can go forever without brushing my hair but I’m glad I’ve tried it, I can definitely see the benefits and the appeal. The great thing about the products included this month is they are perfect for curly hair if you don’t follow the CGM and safe if you do.
Instead of fighting my hair this box has helped embrace and enhance my hairs natural beauty. My hair is more defined easier to manage, less frizzy and I’ve been asked several times if I’ve been to a saloon since using the products.
I have found some new cult products in this box, a lot are vegan friendly as well! Whether you have waves, curls kinks or coils this box is a must and it comes highly recommend from me. I mean just look at these amazing locks compared to my hair on my live, definitely a few miracle products in here!
So let’s scrunch the numbers (pun intended)
I had 4 good sized travel times and a good sized sample sachet:
KeraCare leave in conditioner 60ml RRP £2.50
KeraCare Defining Custard 58ml RRP £2.50
Trepadora Curl Therapy Açai Berry Fix Curl Defining Gel 100ml RRP £10.50
Flora & Curl Hydrate Me Jasmine Oasis Hair Mist 50ml RRP £8.50
Trepadora Curl Therapy Leave in Curl Primer 20ml 200ml is £19 so this is worth around £2
Total RRP £26
The box is £15 plus £3.95 P&P so £18.95
Giving you a saving off £7.05 under the monthly rolling option or £8.05 under the prepay options.
There are a few subscription options:
A one off box £15 plus £3.95 P&P
Monthly rolling £15 & £3.95 P&P billed on the 1st of the month.

Looking Forward // March 2017
Looking Forward is a feature where I get to take a look at the books I am most excited to be released each month. The books I cannot wait to start reading and want to remind you all about being released. It’s really a kind of torture because I am meant to be employing a spending ban and I can’t quite help but sneak a book into my basket when I do this post because I forger how many good books get released each month! This month’s collection is very YA heavy (when is it not?) and features a couple of my most anticipated reads.
The Song Rising (The Bone Season #3) – Samantha Shannon
Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult
Release Date: 7th March 2017
You’re Welcome, Universe – Whitney Gardner
Genre: Contemporary, Young Adult
Release Date: 7th March 2017
Following a bloody battle against foes on every side, Paige Mahoney has risen to the dangerous position of Underqueen, ruling over London's criminal population.
But, having turned her back on Jaxon Hall and with vengeful enemies still at large, the task of stabilizing the fractured underworld has never seemed so challenging.
Little does Paige know that her reign may be cut short by the introduction of Senshield, a deadly technology that spells doom for the clairvoyant community and the world as they know it . . .
A vibrant, edgy, fresh new YA voice for fans of More Happy Than Not and Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, packed with interior graffiti.
When Julia finds a slur about her best friend scrawled across the back of the Kingston School for the Deaf, she covers it up with a beautiful (albeit illegal) graffiti mural.
Her supposed best friend snitches, the principal expels her, and her two mothers set Julia up with a one-way ticket to a “mainstream” school in the suburbs, where she’s treated like an outcast as the only deaf student. The last thing she has left is her art, and not even Banksy himself could convince her to give that up.
Out in the ’burbs, Julia paints anywhere she can, eager to claim some turf of her own. But Julia soon learns that she might not be the only vandal in town. Someone is adding to her tags, making them better, showing off—and showing Julia up in the process. She expected her art might get painted over by cops. But she never imagined getting dragged into a full-blown graffiti war.
Told with wit and grit by debut author Whitney Gardner, who also provides gorgeous interior illustrations of Julia’s graffiti tags, You’re Welcome, Universe introduces audiences to a one-of-a-kind protagonist who is unabashedly herself no matter what life throws in her way.
Why Am I Excited?
I have been excited about this book since finishing The Mime Order when that was released. I mean, I have been excited about reading this series ever since I read The Bone Season. It’s just a really interesting fantasy series and one which I can see getting better and better with each book. I remember rolling my eyes at the 7 book series when it first was released but was intrigued like all the rest and I have to say I don’t regret buying that first book in the slightest, even if I am being forced to buy the special edition covers so my book collection will match.
Why Am I Excited?
I had never heard of this author or this book until there was a post at New Year on Pop Goes The Reader by Whitney Gardner and the artwork and the story was just perfect and I knew I wanted to read whatever she had written so hearing that she had this book coming out I knew I needed to get my hands on it. It was nothing to do with the fact it ticks all the diversity boxes (it does and I love that) but it was simply the fact that the author had such a unique voice and I wanted more so the fact she also writes books which are diverse and interesting is just a plus for me.
The Bone Witch – Rin Chupeco
Genre: Fantasy, Paranormal, Young Adult
Release Date: 7th March 2017
Queen of the Geeks – Jen Wilde
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary
Release Date: 14th March 2017
The beast raged; it punctured the air with its spite. But the girl was fiercer.
Tea is different from the other witches in her family. Her gift for necromancy makes her a bone witch, who are feared and ostracized in the kingdom. For theirs is a powerful, elemental magic that can reach beyond the boundaries of the living—and of the human.
Great power comes at a price, forcing Tea to leave her homeland to train under the guidance of an older, wiser bone witch. There, Tea puts all of her energy into becoming an asha, learning to control her elemental magic and those beasts who will submit by no other force. And Tea must be strong—stronger than she even believes possible. Because war is brewing in the eight kingdoms, war that will threaten the sovereignty of her homeland…and threaten the very survival of those she loves.
When BFFs Charlie, Taylor and Jamie go to SupaCon, they know it’s going to be a blast. What they don’t expect is for it to change their lives forever.
Charlie likes to stand out. SupaCon is her chance to show fans she’s over her public breakup with co-star, Jason Ryan. When Alyssa Huntington arrives as a surprise guest, it seems Charlie’s long-time crush on her isn’t as one-sided as she thought.
While Charlie dodges questions about her personal life, Taylor starts asking questions about her own.
Taylor likes to blend in. Her brain is wired differently, making her fear change. And there’s one thing in her life she knows will never change: her friendship with Jamie—no matter how much she may secretly want it to. But when she hears about the Queen Firestone SupaFan Contest, she starts to rethink her rules on playing it safe.
Why Am I Excited?
I’m pretty sure I saw the cover and then the word witches in the summary and decided it was a must read for me. Thankfully, when I went back and read the summary in full I knew it sounded like a good book, but the cover was mostly to blame.
Why Am I Excited?
It’s another case of the cover getting me first, I mean pink hair! It’s little things like that which get me. The book itself totally feeds into the fangirl in me though, it’s another book set at a convention (I need to read Unconventional!) and it just makes me want to read. I’ve not heard much about it yet but I hope to read it at some point this year.
Madly (New York #2) – Ruthie Knox
Genre: Romance, Contemporary
Release Date: 14th March 2017
Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer #1) – Laini Taylor
Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult
Release Date: 28th March 2017
An impulsive trip to New York City, a heartthrob from London, and a scandalous to-do list turn a small-town girl’s life upside down in this sultry romance from the New York Times bestselling author of Truly and About Last Night.
Allie Fredericks isn’t supposed to be in Manhattan, hiding in the darkest corner of a hip bar, spying on her own mother—who’s flirting with a man who’s definitely not Allie’s father. Allie’s supposed to be in Wisconsin, planning her parents’ milestone anniversary party. Then Winston Chamberlain walks through the door, with his tailored suit, British accent, and gorgeous eyes, and Allie’s strange mission goes truly sideways.
Winston doesn’t do messy. But after a pretty stranger ropes him into her ridiculous family drama with a fake kiss that gets a little too real, he finds out that messy can be fun. Maybe even a little addicting. And as the night grows longer, Allie and Winston make a list of other wild things they could do together—and what seems like a mismatch leads to a genuine connection. But can their relationship survive as their real lives implode just outside the bedroom door?
A new epic fantasy by National Book Award finalist and New York Times bestselling author Laini Taylor of the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy.
The dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around— and Lazlo Strange, war orphan and junior librarian, has always feared that his dream chose poorly. Since he was five years old he's been obsessed with the mythic lost city of Weep, but it would take someone bolder than he to cross half the world in search of it. Then a stunning opportunity presents itself, in the person of a hero called the Godslayer and a band of legendary warriors, and he has to seize his chance to lose his dream forever.
What happened in Weep two hundred years ago to cut it off from the rest of the world? What exactly did the Godslayer slay that went by the name of god? And what is the mysterious problem he now seeks help in solving?
The answers await in Weep, but so do more mysteries—including the blue-skinned goddess who appears in Lazlo's dreams. How did he dream her before he knew she existed? and if all the gods are dead, why does she seem so real?
In this sweeping and breathtaking new novel by National Book Award finalist Laini Taylor, author of the New York Times bestselling Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy, the shadow of the past is as real as the ghosts who haunt the citadel of murdered gods. Fall into a mythical world of dread and wonder, moths and nightmares, love and carnage. Welcome to Weep.
Why Am I Excited?
I wanted to read this because of Nick (like so many of my books) but I wanted to read even more after I bought Truly after realising this wasn’t out yet! Truly was a fantastic romance read. It was perfect for me at the moment of reading and is a book I could see myself reading again. I really liked the characters and the story and the setting and so I’m thrilled to read about another of the characters in this book. I have pre-ordered and I will hopefully read not long after it’s release.
Why Am I Excited?
I was a massive fan of Taylor’s Daughter of Smoke and Bone series (why have I not reread that lately?) and have been waiting something new from her for so long. It may be one of my most anticipated reads of the year and so I cannot wait for it to be out at the end of the month. I have my copy pre-ordered I will happily take the day off of work to read this. I need it in my life ASAP.
We all have books we look forward to, what are your most anticipated reads of March? Are there any I’m missing or have you been lucky enough to read any of these already and want to convince me to buy?

Seriously why do guys have to pay more for car insurance compared to women? It is unfair. If this was the other way round, all the females will be complaining and protesting. Well in fact men do not proportionately cause more accidents, men have more accidents, but men drive proportionately far more than women at a given time 79% of of all cars being driven are by males, 71% of all accidents are by males. Same goes with young males (17-22), they tend to be the first to want to embrace there rights when they turn 17 to be able to drive an automobile. I'm soon going to have my license suspended for 30 days. My car insurance is paid through next year. Will it still be valid during my suspension period? (i.e. liability if my girlfriend drives it even though she's licensed / insured as well or for comprehensive damage, etc.). No, I will not be driving my car or any other during my suspension period. I just wanted to know if there are generally any 'clauses' in policies that eliminate the ins. co. liability if the insured has a suspended license and something happens to the vehicle. Separate question: Does adding a car to your policy trigger a license check by the insurance company? Thanks for your help!""
How can I convince my dad that leasing a cheap car would be a good decision given my circumstances?
Ok. So I'm about to be 18 and have about $1,400 saved up towards a car, should be getting a few hundred more after graduation and from a few other things, so I expect to have around $2,000 in the summer. This is what I was planning on spending on a down payment on a cheap used car. For the monthly note and insurance, my parents said that they'll help at least some until I get a job. The thing is, it's seriously impossible to get a job in my town. I've been trying for a couple years and just nothing. Most other people I know - not just teenagers - are having the same problem. Because of this, my parents are worried that having to pay for so much and me pay for basically just the down payment would be too much on them. They're struggling very hard financially and haven't bought a car themselves in 13 years. So I was looking at some car websites the other day and noticed that some of them had really appealing lease deals. The ones that most caught my attention were $0 down, and then a monthly payment of around $200 or less per month for three years. What really interested me about that deal is the no down payment, because if there's no down payment and they pay for the monthly note, then that's the only thing they have to pay, at least for quite a while. That leaves me with around $2,000 still in pocket to spend over time on insurance, gas, various maintenance costs, etc., plus if there are too many hidden fees, etc. in the lease. (My dad got me an insurance quote and it was a lot lower than I expected btw, about $560/yr.) That seems so much better than having to start back at $0 after buying the car having paid all the rest on the down payment. I just don't wanna spend that much down because then I'm left with nothing, if I can't get a job then I have no way to pay for everything, again my parents don't think they can pay too much. If they only have to pay the monthly note, then I still have quite a while to get a job and start making money before that couple thousand runs out and if I do eventually get a job (hopefully it'll be easier in another city, but I need a car in order to move), I can even help them with the monthly payments or pay all of them. But all they can say is, Why lease a car when you can buy one, you'll just be stuck in the same spot in three years. But this is completely missing the point. The problem here is that if I spend everything down, then I have nothing left to maintain the car with, and therefore can't have a car at all. I have no steady source of income and can't make a steady source of income without a car. But if I can afford to maintain a car for at least several months with money I already had and can later get a job in a bigger city, I at least have some car, regardless of whether not I own it or it's the best and wisest financial decision in the long run. Once I have a car I can move to a bigger city and hopefully go to college and then get a better job, I'm sure I can get another car later. So basically, if I want a car now (which I need one in order to advance my life and go to college and such) the only possible way is if I lease instead of buy, unless I suddenly come into a bunch of money or can find a car for sale with no down payment. I need to just do whatever I have to do to have a car and get by at the moment, but my parents won't let me. They're so stuck in their stubborn ways that leasing cars is always a waste of money (I agree that it'a a waste of money, but again that's not the point here, the point is that I need a car) when in this situation it would work much better for me. But they refuse to let me.""

Women get low car rates b/c they, as a group, are less likely to have accidents. Feminists quote this fact all the time. Renting an Apartment: Is this cost per month affordable for my budget?
The apartment's rent is $750 a month...I'm living with 2 other roommates, so we are dividing that cost three ways. We'll each owe $250 a month...plus electric ($35 - $50 a month), plus cable t.v. ($30 - $40 a month), plus WiFi internet ($30 - $40 a month). So all together, each of us will owe around $275 a month, roughly. I make $32,000 a year before taxes and health insurance...I make a $250 car payment per month, and car insurance is $1000 (+ or -) for 6 months. This is my first time renting (I'm 20), so I want to be sure that I can afford this apartment.""

First 5 Steps For Handling Estate, and Bereavement Cleanout: Where to Begin
More than likely, if you are suddenly saddled with an estate to handle, you are already grieving and overwhelmed. Now you are bewildered, standing inside the home of the deceased, and you are looking around at the heaps of their belongings. The bedrooms, the furniture, the knick-knacks within the curio cabinet, all those dishes in the cupboards, the linens, and more, and more, and more…and it sinks in: clearing out this whole nest is now up to you.
Then you gotta sell the place, too.
Reallocating the tangible personal property can be just as much of an arduous and stressful obligation as selling the house by itself. Even for those who’ve had ample time to prepare and plan would be understandably left wondering, just where do I begin?
Well…estate issues are complex. Let’s face it. Most of us are better at other stuff, not Estate planning stuff. I know when I was in lawschool (say, 2003), it didn’t really make a lot of sense to me. I relied heavily on the guidance of better attuned classmates in my study group to help me weed through it.
(B+? Thanks study group!)
So, why not contact experts again now? For purposes of this article, I contacted Attorneys Rachel Tucker* (Farmington Hills, MI) and Attorney Ryan Barr** (Warren, MI), and asked them, “What’s the first 5 things” you tell your (Michigan) clients who find themselves in our original scenario? Where do you start when you are left to disburse the possessions of the dearly departed? I also asked a few non attorneys I knew were in this situation, and listened to their valuable experiences. Taking everything together, we put together a list of things that a person can do to get started.
Here are the top 5 things to do first:
1. Determine who is in charge
2. Get a notebook and get organized
3. Identify the assets
4. Know the legal issues for administering the estate
5. Distribution and Divestment
Step 1: Determine who is in charge. Proper notice to interested parties is a huuuuge deal in handling estates, so the first thing that must be done is determine who is responsible taking those steps. According to Attorney Ryan Bar, there are essentially 2 ways to determine who is in charge. First, confirm if the deceased had an Estate Plan. If there is a Will or Trust, that will normally answer the question of who is in charge. If not, then intestate laws will decide (basically, all your stuff goes to your nearest relatives in a pre-set order that is well articulated in the statute that need not be detailed here for purposes of this article).
How do you find out if a Will or Trust exists? Attorney Rachel Tucker sagely recommends a thorough search of the person's house. The most common locations for finding key documents might be in someone’s office, desk, safe and closet. If you don’t find the actual estate plan, you might discover an estate attorney’s information among the mail, on a business card in a wallet, or stored on the person’s phone or computer. In that case, proceed to contact the deceased’s attorney. Likely, he or she made the estate plan, and would therefore have the documents and information you need to make sure it is properly executed.
Step 2: Get a notebook, and get organized. Attorney Ryan Barr stresses the importance of keeping track of everything, and getting a notebook is a great start. Attorney Rachel Tucker agrees that keeping tabs on all transactions in an organized fashion should foster better odds for smooth asset distribution down the road. Because you’ll need to make endless lists, identify creditors, and gather bills for payment. It will become necessary to gather paper statements and ensure mail is properly forwarded. And yet, as the world gravitates toward digital and on-line record keeping, your notebook will be a great companion for jotting down all the PINs and passwords your deceased relied on for his or her digital dealings.
Step 3: Identify the Assets. Both attorneys Rachel Tucker and Ryan Barr independently agree that the most common assets to identify are real estate holdings, bank accounts, stocks/bonds, motor vehicles, as well as the tangible personal property. More than just discovering them, it’s also important to learn how these things are owned, and if there are designated beneficiaries.
Step 4: Know the legal issues for administering estate. You’ll want to make sure when going through the tangible personal property, that the appropriate persons are notified with opportunity to participate.
This might require the formal legal proceedings of probate. Requisite notices might require publication or other action within certain timeframes. Attorneys like Rachel Tucker and Ryan Barr are equipped to review the Wills or Trusts recovered, and can advise on the legal requirements necessary to comply with the estate plan in place. Should you seek counsel, know that, typically, an initial consultation is free, and the payment comes out of the estate.
Rachel Tucker adds that the Letter of Authority or the Certificate of Trust can be secured and used for handling account transactions. Your dearly departed likely had financial obligations and bills, many of which could be subject to automatic monthly (or yearly) payment. You will want to monitor statements and online accounts and make effort to cancel the automatic pay services (cable, media streaming, subscriptions, software licenses, renewable charity contributions, life insurance premiums, retirement accounts) as soon as you can. Ryan Barr recommends that the executor secure an EIN number from the IRS for the deceased, have the personal tax return for the deceased filed, and opening a new estate bank account to start claiming assets.
Step 5: Distribution and Divestment. Finally. After the assets are gathered, creditors paid, parties of interest notified (legal proceedings initiated, if necessary), there should eventually come a time when you can finally divest the estate of the assets, being both the tangible personal property as well as the house and real property.
Rachel Tucker offers practical advice for divestment of real property, pointing out that the home’s fair market value might be affected by the outdated décor or any various spots of disrepair. In other words, she says, the Executor is well-served to set-aside sentiment when setting the price of the home in favor of a realistic market perception.
As for removal of tangible personal property, this can be an onerous task. For those who do not relish the labor of it, there are companies that offer handling bereavement cleanouts, junk removal, or estate sales on your behalf. Your Realtor® should be able to help recommend some vendors for that purpose.
And there you have it, your start. It’s a rough road and everyone agrees that the process can be a strenuous exercise. So don’t hesitate to reach out and seek help among experts. If you strategically connect with the right people, you will hopefully find a smoother track to divestment and distribution.

The Best Methods To Lose 20 Pounds
When consuming proper and exercise just simply is not enough, it may be time to consider among the numerous diets the market has to provide. There are a lot of ways to make their program extra reasonably priced similar to shopping for gift cards by Costco (20% off), auto-ship low cost, and I might be joyful to send you a code for $30 off your first order. There may be also a new premium offering called NutriSystem Choose , which is about $370 a month for girls and $30 more for males. You possibly can't even simply blindly eat on their plan since it's a must to go to the store and buy produce, greens, dairy, proteins, fat and carbs. After reading your critiques, I'm planning to add a few of the other foods in my diet subsequent week. Let's see what precise independent analysisnot funded by Nutrisystem or comparable weight-loss industry-associated programshas to say about that claim and likewise, about the science behind the Nutrisystem manner of eating: frequent, small meals each day. The Mediterranean eating regimen has cardiovascular benefits and may help cut back each hypertension and dangerous cholesterol. I've purchased a number of starter bins at Walmart however I might like to affix for a couple of months to further my jump begin and till I really feel I am able to go it alone. Most plans start with the Turbo Takeoff to help jumpstart your weight reduction during the first week on the program. Instead of simply discontinuing the eating regimen immediately, begin by selecting one meal a day to make completely by yourself without any of the pre-made objects. So Nutrisystem does work but you'll need some willpower to stick to the Nutrisystem plan, but then once more that applies to any food regimen plan. Hey, I signed up with Nutrisystem on Jan 1 with the low cost deal and simply received my food package in the present day. And that you like the diet and also you're fired as much as maintain it to lose much more is absolutely inspiring. I lost 14 wonder I could not tolerate the food, my Dr. informed me to get off this plan however now I'm utilizing something else. I've received the food however the directions for the program are troublesome to obtain and perceive. It acts as a vitamin alternative, and though efficient within the quick term, has not been discovered to stimulate metabolism or burn fats, as the eating regimen claims. Nutrisystem is a nicely-recognized and profitable weight loss program that has helped hundreds of thousands of people drop a few pounds and enhance their well being. I've started to get a whole lot of questions about NutriSystem's vegetarian plan and I pretty much understand why. One of the largest concerns I hear from others concerning the Nutrisystem plan is the cost. Hiya Pam, thanks for dropping by. These two weight-reduction plan packages are so related, however some individuals hate JC's meals and others say NS's food are terrible. I have tried the Nutrisystem weight loss plan not too long ago and for me it labored extraordinarily properly. I do know I won't follow the food plan if the food tasts horrible and a few of the reviews make me assume it does. The general cost of Nutrisystem meals goes to be dependent upon the plan one chooses and any discounts that she or he might receive. Now I plan to keep going for 2 more months until our anniversary Cancun trip. In an identical study published in 2013 in Vitamin Diabetes, 50 Nutrisystem dieters lost an average of about 22 kilos in six months, whereas the 50 management dieters lost solely about 5. The eating regimen also requires a 1,000 calorie restrict to start with, which will be extremely troublesome. I labored extremely onerous and ate a lot better and after about one hundred days on that train program and consuming higher, I was down to round 215 lbs. It can take a while to work one's method via all the nutrisystem review critiques, however they are often very best for individuals who are new to the Nutrisystem technique. In the event you do some extra exercise and be sure to drink plenty of plain water (not soda, not even weight loss program soda) you will lose more weight than you would have done in any other case. NutriSystem Advanced: These low-glycemic meals boast omega-three fatty acids and natural fiber for added heart health and will show you how to feel fuller for longer. On the bright facet, Nutrisystem does not need to be prescribed by a medical skilled, but it could not look as appealing as a number of the other convenient eating regimen medications and packages currently out there. You may eat three meals and a pair of snacks of prepackaged, portion managed Nutrisystem food every day. I headed to my local Walmart and bought a Nutrisystem five day weight loss package which included fifteen entrees and 5 desserts. Pregnant women, who generally have to consult with their physician as an alternative for their weight loss program. And as mentioned, the Nutrisystem meals are portion managed so it's smaller than the meals you'll have previously eaten and it's considerably less than what people would usually eat. The whole idea behind this system is that the whole lot is finished for your comfort to make your life as easy as it's potential to be. The breakfast and snack foods have been good, and I favored the portion control of the program. The NutriSystem food plan is a weight-reduction plan meal plan that may focus on you eating what you want but still shedding pounds. Their findings, subsequently, show that food plan soda doesn't actually result in weight reduction - actually, it raises the likelihood of weight acquire, as well as of the event of numerous weight-associated lifestyle illnesses. The customer support reps are at all times there to assist and discover the best plan that's value efficient and best for you. This is solely my opinion, after all, however Iimaginethe nutrisystem meals are low glycemic selections that may, when paired with wholesome, contemporary sides, assist to regulate blood sugar. Just like the earlier commenter Rudy, I just completed week 2 of the fundamental mens plan and was shocked when I misplaced 5lbs in the first 6 days. In a Nutrisystem-funded examine of sixty nine overweight Kind 2 diabetics, published in the journal Postgraduate Medication in 2009, researchers reported that those assigned to eat meals on the Nutrisystem D diabetic monitor lost an average of 18 kilos after three months compared with 1 pound for the control group, who attended academic sessions on diabetes administration and nutrition. Like the dieting facet of the Nutrisystem weight loss program, train plans on the Nutrisystem program are customizable primarily based upon bodily skill. After one month the entire food plan thing was simpler as I was not craving meals like before. Hopefully, by early spring I will be back to my ultimate weight (175) and this time be smart sufficient to go on a upkeep weight loss program relatively than dive into pizza and burgers once more. That will help you ensure you're following the weight loss plan appropriately and to make life a bit of easier, lay out your meal plan for the week. You won't have the bodily endurance to push by means of robust exercises in case your weight loss plan is not up to snuff. I assume I'll find out for myself if/when this gets printedSo I'm currently on the vegetarian plan for the last three weeks and its not as powerful as I assumed it could be. Simply weighed myself and my whole is 9lb misplaced up to now. Many healthy meals also can make delicious treats, like yogurt, peanut butter, weight loss program soda, and chocolate protein. The issue with these diets is that they pressure you to immediately get used to a brand new weight loss program meal plan. I tried to quit their autodelivery program online and wasn't allowed to. I was given a phone number to name. Or there is always that one that can tell me I'm too skinny and wish to lay off the weight loss program. We observe a variety of various things operating PEERtrainer, and we see people be successful with all kinds of weight loss plan approaches. My tips to anyone searching for a program that works is just make the cellphone name or order online. Nutrisystem components will depend on which meals or snacks you are purchasing. I stuck to the weight loss program and only added broccoli and kale to the primary meals and ate an apple daily trigger I heard that they hold the physician away hehe Nicely, I misplaced eleven pounds over four weeks and to be honest, i by no means misplaced anything before on different diets so I used to be pretty delighted, to say the least. I learn this evaluate and all of the comments, then I read it again before I made a decision on Nutrisystem for men. A quick-fix food regimen is not sometimes successful within the long-run for either men or ladies. You acquire Nutrisystem meals on the web as well as your order may be entirely customized to your most well-liked meals. Nutrisystem encourages customers to include no less than half-hour of train each day. Within the medical research, the Nutrisystem DASH plan was compared to a do-it-yourself (DIY) DASH group following the NIH SPRINT diminished calorie meal plan. The mushroom risotto is addictive and I might eat this even when I were not on a food regimen. Nutrisystem offers a weight loss program that is fully personalized to the person customer's requirements, while still offering the construction that many people find they need to shed some pounds successfully. Cost to lose 20 pounds: $one hundred twenty to $200 with the monthly go, together with membership and 12 to twenty meetings. Can You Get Nutrisystem At Clinics Or Doctors' Workplaces?: I do have a couple of people inform me that they've requested their doctor to prescribe this weight loss program and have gotten very puzzled appears to be like. Lunch was NutriSystem Tex-Mex rice and beans, another concoction in a styrofoam cup. Not surprisingly, the specialists had loads of issues, and the Fast Diet landed toward the bottom of the Best Diets General rankings. JC was an incredible plan, but I opted for NS as a result of I had a pair associates on this system and they had great success.
It's a calorie restricting food plan, so you'll reduce weight on their weight-reduction plan plan that most dietitians view as nutritionally sound. There are so many success tales that come from people who lose weight with this program that you are sure to know someone who has used Nutrisystem. They need to lose forty. I would just crossed the threshold into overweight, and wished to get back down to the place my pants fit as an alternative of going out and buying a brand new wardrobe (Its really cheaper to do Nutrisystem). She requested me how I misplaced the weight and stated she will probably be suggesting the Nutrisystem weight loss plan to her overweight patients. I acquired my first shipment of Nutrisystem three days in the past and got started right away. I need to thank everyone for all their evaluations of this program as a result of it inspired me to offer it a try. The Meals Is The Main Value With Nutrisystem: Principally, you are simply going to be spending money on food and there are various methods to order this. Great to listen to you are getting on with the eating regimen so properly, but gaining 7lbs in simply over per week positive sounds strange. For those who wish to stop the subscription you will want to contact Nutrisystem straight. The Conventional Asian food regimen is a reasonable selection for an eating sample, touchdown across the center of the pack of ranked diets. Fortunate me I not too long ago discovered Nutrisystem and started with the Fast 5 plan and couldn't imagine what I was seeing on the scales after simply 5 days. There's plenty of research exhibiting that following a eating regimen of 1,200 to 1,500 energy a day, equivalent to Nutrisystem, can cause weight reduction. The Food, Body, Thoughts principles are reinforced with the interpersonal contact and coaching of the program consultant. Multisystem weight-loss program presents you your weight loss plan schedule for breakfast, lunch to dinner, or dessert. What I am saying right here is this weight-reduction plan rocks and the meals is better than I expected. According to its website, Nutrisystem affords a variety of menu plans specializing in the individual needs of ladies, men, teens, vegetarians, diabetics and the aged. The associated fee might seem just a little excessive when it's important to pay for 4 weeks of meals all in one cost, but do not let that put you off. The Nutrisystem plan has some specialized plans out there to satisfy everyone's needs. Will Nutrisystem really work, I thought, and tossed the box within the back seat of the automobile and headed dwelling. Nutrisystem have formulated a selected plan for Diabetics, called Nutrisystem-D. There is a idea behind the success of Nutrisystem weight loss plan plans and why they make them as handy as they are often. They provide a full dieter's menu that is each various, interesting and engaging. The program works nice for busy movers and shakers for the reason that meals are transportable. Lastly, girls who are pregnant or breastfeeding mustn't comply with the Nutrisystem weight loss system, as they typically have greater calorie necessities than the diet supplies. I was very profitable on Nutrisystem 25 years ago, back while you needed to go to the shop weekly to weigh-in and get your meals. You're doing simply nice and as long as you follow the plan and keep up a mean 2lb per week any further, you need to see better than 25lbs misplaced after another 9 weeks you are giving your self. I plan on upping the amount of train this week to help with the load loss and provides the physique slightly kick-start. The Flat Belly weight loss plan landed in the middle of the pack as a result of most of its scores from the specialists were right around common. Contact with a program consultant and visitation to a local center are encouraged.

If you got the shocks changed and it's still shaking a lot, you could simple things like getting your tires balanced and making sure the alignment is proper. Other than that, since it's such a new vehicle, I wouldn't think that there's anything broken with it that would cause it to shake like that.

Amber, sorry it took me a few days to get back to you. The holidays were busy around here. If your car just died while you were driving it, you probably have a bad alternator. The alternator is like a mini generator that sits in the car and charges the battery while you're driving. If your alternator goes bad, there isn't any electricity to power the spark for combustion and the car will just die on you like you're talking about while driving. An alternator should cost about $250, and the labor will vary depending on where the alternator is located. It could be a bad coil as well, which is often cheap to replace.
When on tour or performing live, a band would desire to send out a certain message to its fans. Rather of repeating such a message on the microphone, it is suggested to use band backdrops. Unlike words, visuals enable one to reveal ideas rapidly and in a subtle way. In truth, a study brought out by a student analyst from Harvard university discovered that 67 % of consumers prefer clear, comprehensive images to product/service reviews/ratings. This uses to bands, too, because individuals who attend a gig mean to delight in the music. For this factor, they are most likely to look at banners or logo designs of bands that are playing. Only a professional can help you communicate a particular message to your fans.
Hey Mandy, if you've noticed a slow decline in engine performance like that, then it's probably the case that your car needs a general tuneup. The only thing that's disconcerting is the fact that you mentioned backfiring. That's not a good situation, and is usually caused by bad timing. It's good that they changed the fuel pump, but bad that it didn't do much to help. You may be due for a timing belt change and a change to your spark plugs and air filter. You may also need a cleaning of your throttle system and intake. There's just a lot of different things that can contribute to a slow decline in engine performance and idling. Hopefully the mechanic will be able to find out more.

Investigate whether the firm has well trained and qualified personnel. The members of staff need to have acquired some level of training so as to offer high quality services. When so doing, you should also check whether the equipment used by the firm is in good condition. The main point is to pay attention to each and every detail so that you are able to make the right decision.
Backfiring is usually caused by poor engine timing. Preignition happens in the combustion chamber at the wrong time and that causes a backfire. But it can also be caused by a number of other things, so you really need to take it to a shop to get it properly figured out.
So there you have it: all the basic steps for creating your proposal. Now for the finishing touches. After you have inserted all the words and data in your proposal, spend a bit of time making it visually appealing. Add your company logo, choose different fonts or use custom bullets, or consider using colored page borders. Don't go overboard, though; you want to match the style of your proposal to the style of your business.
Ok, now we need to get the air circulating to dry the room out. If it is not raining open the windows up all the way. If it is raining you will still need to open some of the windows just make sure that rainwater is not coming through the open window. Next, if you have ceiling fans turn them on high. You will also need to place floor fans, box fans, or air movers in each room. You may also need to use a dehumidifier or two. The dehumidifier has a tank that fills with water as it is extracted from the air. You will need to empty it often. If you have carpet that got soaked you will need to lift it up and get air moving under it. Otherwise the carpet pad will not dry which will lead to nasty smells and mold. Just pull the carpet loose from that tack strips and stuff some 2x4's or something under it to create an air space between the carpet and the pad. Then stuff an air mover or fan under the edge of the carpet for end of lease cleaning melbourne review.

10 biggest NBA trade deadline takeaways
[clears throat and does best ancient Roman accent]
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED? IS THIS NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE?!?
After countless visits to the Woj bomb shelter and copious mashing of the F5 button, this year’s NBA trade deadline is now in the rearview mirror — but not before New Orleans became a Boogie Wonderland, Jeanie Buss executed Order 66, and Danny Ainge slept through all of his alarms yet again. As the salary cap dust finally begins to settle, let’s go for a deep dive into the 10 biggest takeaways from Trade SZN 2K17.
1. The Southwest Division has become a meat grinder
In their shocking acquisition of three-time All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins from the SacrHAHAHAHAmento Kings, the New Orleans Pelicans managed to melt our faces off and give the ultimate middle finger to small-ball all at once. Cousins will join forces with Anthony Davis to form what is easily the NBA’s most fearsome frontcourt duo since Tim Duncan and David Robinson, and he very well could lift the team to a Godzilla vs. King Kong-esque clash of styles against the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the playoffs.
But while the Cousins bombshell dominated all of the headlines, the Houston Rockets upgraded their own weapon system by trading for former Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams, a top-tier bench scorer and yet another threes-and-free-throws enthusiast to toss into Daryl Morey’s cauldron. And with the omnipresent San Antonio Spurs again cruising to a 60-plus win season, the Memphis Grizzlies modernizing nicely, and the Dallas Mavericks somehow still kicking, we may officially have a new Division of Death in the Association.
2. The East is now as wide open as it’s been in years
A faint glimmer of hope shines intermittently in the distance to signal the possible end of LeBron James’ reign of terror over the Eastern Kingdom. That glimmer may actually be the Ibaka Flocka Flame that the Toronto Raptors lit this trade deadline, a get that should improve their spacing and help remedy their chronic problem of bleeding easy buckets at the rim in crunchtime. Their late addition of P.J. Tucker as a LeBron-stopper of sorts has the potential to be huge as well, especially he was had for the price of a negative asset in Jared Sullinger and a pair of inconsequential second-rounders.
But don’t sleep on the Washington Wizards either now that they no longer have a cardboard cutout of a second unit thanks to the acquisition of Bojan Bogndanovic from Brooklyn. Bogdanovic’s friskiness off the bounce and his 36.6 percent career mark from deep give the Wiz a legitimate sixth man instead having to trot out The Ghosts of Power Conference Studs Past in Trey Burke and Kelly Oubre Jr. Now as long their starting five continues to swipe lunch money, Washington is set up to a be yuge headache come playoff time.
And to think that we haven’t even gotten to the team that’s mathematically closest to the Cavaliers yet…
3. The Boston Celtics are still waiting for the right time to pounce
“This will be the year that Danny Ainge finally awakens from his trade deadline slumber,” we repeated to ourselves as we slowly rocked back and forth in the fetal position. But alas, Ainge has once again taken the advice of the Magic Conch Shell and done nothing.
Paul George? Sike. Andre Drummond? Ask again later. Jimmy Butler? LOL.
In fairness, there’s not as much urgency to deal for a superstar when the Celtics have already witnessed one emerge in-house this season in Mighty Mouse Isaiah Thomas. Ainge may also want to see a healthy Avery Bradley get more reps with this current core and wait to see where that much-ballyhooed Brooklyn pick will actually fall so as to make a more well-informed decision about the future of his team. But time is of the essence with the Cavaliers, who are just three games ahead of Boston entering the second half of the season, beginning to show signs of mortality, so it’s still tough to justify the Celtics sitting on their hands instead of throwing them.
And since we keep mentioning those pesky Clevelanders…
4. The Cavaliers are walking a dangerous tightrope
LeBron James just hit all of his prospective playmakers with a resounding “It’s not you, it’s me.” Granted, a pre-deadline move was a longshot with the capped-out, asset-deficient reality the Cavs were forced to work with, especially since they gave up what little they had left to acquire sharpshooter Kyle Korver. But it’s still a highway to the danger zone to maintain status quo when the roster only runs six or seven deep right now thanks to the respective injury absences of J.R. Smith and Kevin Love.
Fortunately though, deadline inaction is far from nuclear Armageddon for the Cavs. The buyout market is still a viable place to acquire cheap, albeit exiled, talent in order to retool for a playoff run. Ditto for the often-overlooked 10-day contract cycle, which they recently took advantage of with the signing of ex-No. 2 overall pick Derrick Williams. So while time is very much ticking on Cleveland, there’s still an ample amount of sand in their hourglass, and hopefully that means their title defense doesn’t fall flat (no pun intended).
5. Several more months of Carmelo Anthony rumors await us
#StayMe7o he did indeed, much to the chagrin of those of us who felt compelled to bang our heads repeatedly against our keyboards thanks to the constant bombardment of Carmelo chatter and the gross societal overuse of the phrase “no-trade clause.” Well, those therapy sessions now look like a pretty darn good investment with Anthony surviving the trade deadline and ensuring that many more months of Melo-brand Instagram shade, indecipherable Phil Jackson subtweets, and Spike Lee sideline struggle faces are looming on the horizon to assault the senses of the NBA fandom.
Where do the Knicks go from here? At 23-34, they’ve all but clinched another season of futility. Meanwhile, Derrick Rose will likely be gonzo after the year, but Joakim Noah will still be around to clog cap, and Kristaps Porzingis will continue to have his development stunted by the team’s Melo-centric offense. Then draft season arrives followed shortly after by the 2017-18 campaign, and we fire up the Anthony hot stove all over again. Are we having fun yet?!?
6. The Lakers are done playing games
Jeanie Buss means business if you didn’t gather from the Red Wedding she stunningly pulled on her brother Jim and Mitch Kupchak just 48 hours before the deadline. The same goes for Magic Johnson, who, upon ascending to his new perch as Lakers president of basketball operations, traded away Lou Williams, got the team involved on the Paul George front, and took calls on Nick Young, all faster than you could say “Abdul-Jabbar.”
Now none of those moves were game-changers in and of themselves, but they affirmed one message to Laker Nation: our long national nightmare is over. Johnson is already working to rebuild the franchise’s reputation in the eyes of marquee talents and scheming with new GM Rob Pelinka and the rest of the front office to put the Lakers in a position to realistically and financially be able to acquire that talent. So rival executives best be vigilant of no-look passes zipping by their ears, because it’s Showtime in Los Angeles again.
7. Doc Rivers is perfectly content to run it back again
Another team somewhat surprising in their silence this year was the Los Angeles Clippers, who took a pie to the face last deadline by swinging an eleventh-hour deal for Jeff Green, who played for the team for all of two months, in exchange for Lance Stephenson and a future first-rounder. Welp.
Perhaps the sting of that belly flop of a trade necessitated the exercise of more prudence this time around, but the Clips are in a good spot regardless. Merciful point god Chris Paul is on the verge of an early return from injury, and Blake Griffin has been Hellboy in basketball form since his own return.
While the temptation to gauge themselves against Golden State and panic into a Carmelo Anthony-type deal must have been enormous, there’s intrinsic value in the 2011 Dallas Mavericks model of keeping a nucleus intact for several seasons in the hope that they can eventually break through the glass ceiling. Though the Dubs have all but assured that the ceiling [commander-in-chief voice] just got ten feet higher, it sounds like that’s the conventional wisdom Doc Rivers is going for here.
8. The cavalry is coming behind Russell Westbrook
Those 10,000 “Save The Brodie” shirts I ordered off eBay were not purchased in vain.
Though the loss of Westbrook’s blood sworn dance partner, Cameron Payne, is absolutely devastating (not really), the reinforcements have arrived for our beloved triple-double addict. Doug McDermott will offer Billy Donovan a versatile offensive threat to close games with in those situations where the foul stench of Andre Roberson’s jumper is too much to bear. The addition of veteran forward Taj Gibson should also unlock a number of juicy tall-ball lineups next to Steven Adams in case rookie Domantas Sabonis isn’t ready for the bright lights of the postseason or if Enes Kanter isn’t the same upon returning from his upholstery-related injury.
All things considered, the cost is quite minimal for the Thunder. Joffrey Lauvergne proved to be little more than a 6-foot-11 whoopee cushion in the increased opportunity presented by Kanter’s absence, and Payne is a low-upside option at a position of abundance who simply hasn’t looked serviceable since undergoing foot surgery. With the Thunder only 3.5 games out of a top-four seed in the West, let Westbrook’s piercing battle cry shepherd the weak through the valley of darkness.
9. Is The Process still being trusted?
The trade of Nerlens Noel to Dallas was a bolt from the blue, especially since he had finally appeared to find his calling as a defensive dynamo sixth man for the Sixers. In selling off Noel, a Day One Process OG, is Jerry Colangelo beginning to trample all over the carefully-crafted sandcastle that his predecessor, the Honorable Sam Hinkie, built?
In conjunction with their earlier trade of Ersan Ilyasova to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for the injured Tiago Splitter and two future second-rounders, Colangelo seems to be presiding over a radical shift in team-building strategy by the Philly front office. Gone are the days of building exclusively through the draft in favor of clearing out roster space and cap room, perhaps to work more closely with the free agency pool in future years.
With that in mind, dealing Noel, who is due for restricted free agency after the season, makes at least a remote inkling of sense, even if it’s still difficult to justify the late 180 of choosing to keep Jahlil Okafor over Noel. So while I can at least somewhat understand why Colangelo pulled the trigger, as a fanatical disciple of the Holy Gospel according to Hinkie, I can never forgive him.
10. Paul George survives the deadline
As it turns out, Larry Bird was just teasing us all along. Though the PG-13 fever dreams abounded from Boston to Los Angeles, George remains with the Pacers through the deadline. It’s an interesting way for Indy to maintain the outward appearance of long-term commitment to the four-time All-Star while also gathering intel as to what his trade value might be over the summer and come next season.
In the end, it stands to reason that the time wasn’t ripe for the picking to move George. The Pacers are still a playoff team and George is under contract through 2018. But as Carmelos and Butlers before us can attest, this by no means symbolizes the death of the rumor mill, for George or other potentially-available stars. So as winter gives way to spring gives way to the playoffs gives way to the summer, there shall be no rest for the weary. Long live the National Basketball Association.
