Btw trying to convince Jewish students they’re afraid because there’s something wrong with their mental health is textbook gaslighting.
You are trying to trick the victim into doubting their own perception of reality and discredit them as mentally unstable in front of a wider audience.
We can read the statistics. Stop lying.
Mahmoud Khalil calling the issue of campus antisemitism "manufactured mass hysteria" reminds me of this something that really stuck with me from the second report from the Columbia antisemitism task force:
In some cases, students relayed that when they complained about antisemitism, some school administrators tried to steer them to mental health counseling. One student reported, “I tried to reach out to the school but they made me meet with the school social worker before I could meet with the Dean of Student Affairs.” While mental health services should be available to anyone who wants or needs them, administrators should not medicalize a student experience of discrimination in lieu of addressing it. (Page 32)
There is this prevalent and unshakeable idea that antisemitism is all in the Jews' heads, that the issue is really the Jewish inability to cope. That if someone thinks they've experienced antisemitism there is something wrong with their head.

BREAKING— A U.S. immigration judge based in Louisiana has ordered that Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil can be deported.
The judge has allowed Khalil until April 23rd to request a stay on his deportation process but his legal team fears that he may be deported by the Trump administration at any time either to Syria or Algeria.

A U.S. immigration judge is allowing the Trump administration to deport Palestinian legal U.S. resident Mahmoud Khalil over his political beliefs and nonviolent activism.
Judge Jamee Comans said she has no authority to overrule the Trump administration’s decision to deport Khalil, who was arrested on March 8 in New York City and eventually sent to a detention facility almost 2,000 kilometers away in Louisiana.
Khalil served as a negotiator at student protests against Israel’s genocide in Gaza at Columbia University. The Trump administration offered no public evidence against Khalil and did not charge him for any crime, but claimed he should be deported over his beliefs – “past, current or expected.”
Khalil’s attorneys reportedly have until April 23 to request a stay of deportation.
Here’s what you need to know.

As protests start ramping up and violence escalates please remember:
DO NOT PUT MILK IN YOUR EYES FOR PEPPER SPRAY OR TEAR GAS.
It can and will cause infection due to bacteria. Flush with water, distilled if possible, and never EVER wear contact lenses to protests where there may be police retaliation.
Please reblog. It may save someone's sight.

If you're having trouble keeping up with what's going on in Palestine because of US news coverage of university protests, here are some articles you can read and a video you can watch:
youtube
While CNN & all the other mainstream media try to paint the university protests as "pro terrorism" (which they're not, they're literally anti-war protests.) Palestinians are being slaughtered by the minute.
Please don't stop speaking about Palestine.

This elderly woman was one of the leaders of demonstrations against the Vietnam War in 1968, when she was a student at Columbia University. Today, 56 years later, she returns to the same place and says, "Palestine must be free."

Hind Rajab was a 5 year old girl in Gaza who was killed while she hid alone in a car, along with the paramedics who tried to rescue her. Yesterday students at Columbia seized the administration building and renamed it in her honor.

When the rest of the world looks at the united states right now, we see a government who sends billions to support genocide but cannot help their own people starving on the streets.
We see a police force who won't go in to save children from school shootings, but deploy at a rapid rate to arrest peaceful protestors using their right to free speech to protest a genocide
America, you are a war mongering snake eating your own tail. You will protect and support war criminals in another country but let your own people starve and die
To the students bravely protesting now, we see your strength. We see what we saw when students protested the Vietnam War. We have faith you will prevail
